Zoom Room Dog Training

Zoom room has been a game changer for having a dog in the city. The staff is friendly, motivated, and positively-minded. My dog loves agility class. It not only boosts her confidence and tires her out but it’s been great to have an air conditioned, dog friendly place to take her on all those days when it’s too hot or rainy to get out for a proper walk. I really appreciate what Zoom Room is doing for the dog community here in NYC!

My pup, Maximillion and I are new to zoom room Chelsea but we love it so far. All of the staff are sweet and knowledgeable! Max is having a ton of fun in his agility classes and I love the store in the front of the facility. The prices are pretty decent. My only stress is that the class prices are high. Its fair enough, The space is gorgeous and the product is exemplary, I just hope Ill be able to continue to afford it.

The Zoom Room has been absolute game changer for us and my puppy gets so excited every time we go. The staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The events they host are so much fun and really give my puppy a chance to socialize. I couldnt recommend this place enough for any dog owner looking for a great space to train and socialize their dog. Adding a picture from their bandana spring event and play group.

We love Zoom Room! We make the trek over from Brooklyn because we love how big and clean the space is. Every instructor I’ve encountered has been warm, patient and knowledgeable. We are always greeted with a smile when we walk through the door. The class packages are flexible. I initially intended to bring my dog in for agility. After she showed no interest during her first class, I was able to easily book obedience classes instead. I am thinking about taking her to a pupilates or tricks class in the future. My dog is wagging her tail and excited to come every time.

The Zoom Room was a great discovery. The room is spacious, which is rare for the neighborhood, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the prices are reasonable and the facility is immaculately clean. My dog loves going there. I am so glad I discovered it!

My puppy has a lot of energy that needs to be put into more productive use than running around at the park or at daycare. Im so glad I found Zoom Rooms obedience classes and agility classes! We were able to practice some of the things she learned in obedience class while she recovered from her spay (and was bored out of her mind). And agility allows her to get all her extra energy out while still paying attention and listening and focusing on doing a task.The location is really convenient too, its right by a bunch of subway stops!

I have attended a handful of agility classes at Zoom Room with my 1 year old Bedlington Terrier, Merlin. I love how beautiful the facility is. My dog feels safe using all the well-maintained equipment which is a big plus when teaching new skills.The trainers do a great job in facilitating innovative courses and keeping the session moving between rounds, which I really appreciate. The reception area is always filled with friendly and supportive staff.The down time between rounds in the course is also really helpful for my dog to practice relaxation protocol and commands around other dogs. We use this time wisely because 3-4 rounds in the course is honestly enough.I also really appreciate having a safe outlet to bring my dog for some physical and mental enrichment where vaccines are mandatory and there is not a pack of 10+ dogs running around, albeit a dog run or dog cafe which is overstimulating in our situation.Merlin’s behavior and response to commands is better since attending agility sessions, which doesn’t surprise me. He also stopped showing interest in chewing my shoes, amongst other things. Thank you Zoom Room!

Weve attended the obedience and agility classes at Zoom Room, and our puppy loves it! All the trainers are so helpful and friendly, and the equipment and space are great. We all look forward to our classes there!

It’s been so much fun going with Cookie. She absolutely loves it. Agility was fun, obedience was fun too, but she already has her Canine Good Citizen, the trainer saw she was bored and taught us a trick, that was amazing!! Highly recommend! The best part is not one person treated my sweet dog differently because of her breed 💕 Look at her face, looks happy to me

My dog has been having a blast at the Zoom Room! She has always been a very athletic dog, so the agility class really helps to get out some of that energy. She tends to be a bit of a nervous dog, and I can see her confidence building. We love it here!

My pup Hendricks and I love Zoom Room!!For background, Hendricks is a 1 year old rescue who is a bit high energy. He’s also a bit reactive to other dogs at times and definitely values his space. But he’s a quick, smart learner and loves that he can zoom around in agility classes at Zoom Room!We’ve taken ~7 classes so far (Obedience, Tricks, and Agility), and they’ve all been great! He loves playing with and learning from the trainers, all of whom are wonderful. The location is nice and spacious, with lots of room to space out the dogs from each other. It’s also been rewarding for me to learn from the trainers - it’s also a mental workout for myself at times!Thanks to Zoom Room, Hendricks has so much fun and has learned a lot, picking up quickly on the agility cues and new tricks. Agility has been a great new way for the two of us to bond too. I can’t thank the team enough for all of their kindness and love shown towards my pup, and I absolutely recommend this facility to any dog owner looking for a new avenue to engage their pup!

My puppy and I love zoom room! He has learned so much in just a few weeks. He is following commands, become more confident, and socializing with other puppies. I love that they have classes for young pups who don’t have all their vaccines yet. Highly recommend Zoom Room and we look forward to going every weekend.

Zoom Room has been fantastic for our pup. We have done a few agility classes and she has been doing so well. Its really so much fun for both your pup and yourself! Its great for training as well as bonding. The staff is super great as well, theyre always so friendly and helpful. We always look forward to going to our weekly classes!

Update:A few months later and were still having fun at Zoom Room! Theyve taken in some feedback from customers and have definietly acted on it which is awesome. Now, there are classes for beginners all the way until advanced. They also time the runs for each of the dogs to make sure everyone has an equal amount of time. Overall, I dont really have anything bad to say about Zoom Room, theyre amazing and we have so much fun!---My dog is obsessed with this place and the people that work here. We go to Zoom Room for agility classes, and its such a fun activity for my dog and me. It allows us to build a better bond through handling and allows my dog to be enriched in a unique way. They also have a great selection of treats and toys that are decently priced. As for the staff, they are so kind, patient, and knowledgeable with all of the dogs. They get to know all of the dogs by name as well as their quirks. Other than agility, weve attended one of their social events and it was pretty fun!A bit about our experience:When we first went to zoom room, we scheduled an evaluation for $40. We spent about 30 minutes with a trainer going through the agility course, understanding what level my dog is at, and going through the payment structure. Ill note a single class is very expensive, and its much worth it to get a class pack instead if youre confident you and your dog want to commit to learning agility. For us, we went with a 10 class pack for $529.After the evaluation, we started taking normal agility classes. The class is split up between 4 dogs, and you each take a turn on the course with warmups and guided tips from the training. None of the dogs are in the gym at the same time, and all of the dogs are sectioned off while waiting for their turn. Ultimately, it may not seem like a lot of time, but after class is over my dog is TIRED.They keep the same schedule every week which is awesome, and class sign-ups are first come first serve. Generally, I book a week in advance with no issues, and often theres availability to book within the same week, especially if I dont choose a popular time.After about a month of weekly classes, my dog is actually getting pretty good at agility, and Im really proud of her! Hopefully well get to advanced agility soon or join the agility league. My only piece of critical feedback is that I wish there was a way for us to join classes where my dog is at a similar level to other dogs. Theres the advanced class, but were not there yet. In the normal agility classes, there are some dogs that need more help, and it feels like they have more time in the gym.

Best decision I’ve ever made was to start agility training with my dog. Zoom Room was the perfect place to do so. So welcoming, so helpful. Fantastic experience! Can’t wait to see what is to come.

Ive been to 4 classes at Zoom Room so far with my shih tzu mix Kiko and he has the time of his life every time. All of the instructors are amazing and work at Kikos pace. Well definitely continue training here!

My 1 year and a half Maltese is very active and independent. She seems to love agility training and I believe it is really helping us as a team. Trainers are patient, equipment is good and Paige is doing great.

We started going to Zoom Room about two months ago with our dog to do both obedience and agility classes. Our experience has been amazing so far - all of the staff are so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Weve seen amazing progress in our dogs obedience skills and overall behavior, even with just one class per week - hes much calmer and more confident on walks and meeting new people. I cant recommend them enough!

My dog and I love coming to ZoomRoom Chelsea - it’s one of our go to weekend activities now! We’ve been taking agility classes and participating in some of the fun social events that come up (such as Paws & Push Ups). The facilities are clean and spacious, the staff is super friendly and welcoming - I really appreciate the measures they take to keep the environment safe for all our dogs.

The trainers here are so kind and professional. They really love and understand each dog. They manage to personalize every class, and help the dog parents as much as the dogs. We have our dog in the beginners program and shes benefited so much! Shes better on the leash, knows her basic commands, and is less reactive to noises and strangers.

Easter adores going to the Zoom Room! There’s seemingly nothing like it here in NYC, and we already have such a feeling of pup community just by going to the initial weeks and opening classes.(Agility is her favorite so far, and we never expected to do that.) As well as the fun and training Easter has gotten, this is a perfect place to be inside (especially in the NYC winter) and I felt such fun bonding, working with my pup kiddo and doing these activities together. We cannot wait to go back for more asap! :)

Zoom Room is an excellent establishment to train and challenge your dog! As a dog mom to a large Doberman, it is important for me to keep up with my dog’s obedience as well as make use of his “working dog brain.” At the Zoom room I can do both! From obedience to agility training, both my dog and i have a blast taking advantage of all they have to offer! Their staff is just lovely! Everyone is patient and work around each dog’s specific needs as well as are kind and loving and great with both dogs and humans! Highly recommend!

My dog has the BEST time at Zoom Room Chelsea. We love that it’s a safe environment for him to learn and socialize. It’s also a great way to get some of my dog’s energy out, especially in the winter when the weather isn’t great and we’re not as active. All of the trainers have been wonderful so far and my dog is progressing with each class we go to. We’ve done both agility and obedience classes and we can’t wait to try more!

We’ve been taking the agility classes and they’re so much fun! The instructors are very nice and helpful. Our dog loves it and has progressed so much since we started. Your dog gets little milestone badges as they learn new things, it’s so cute!

We have had such a great experience at the Zoom Room. The trainers are so sweet and patient with all of the dogs (and humans!). The facility is spacious and clean. And they have a great mix of classes to take to keep your pup engaged. Our dog loves coming here!

Omg Im so glad I found this this place. All the people are so so sweet and kind, they are especially patient with every dog and parent guiding them through each part of training. Jessie and I have been having a great time training in agility, he will be 8 years old next week and at agility hes as active and bouncey like when he was a puppy. We highly recommend Zoom Room to everyone with a dog.

I love taking my puppy here and she loves going as well! All of the staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable. Not only do they have great classes but a great store front too for everything a dog might need. Would recommend taking your dogs here to learn and socialize!

Overall, love the idea of this place, but its not very well run and sketchy with payments plan. When you sign up for a class pack it apparently auto-renews on two different conditions which we were not fully aware of and they refused to refund us the $300 on the second charge even though we had no interest in continuing.The main reason we had no interest in continuing is because we were doing the agility, which our dog very much enjoyed, but its next to impossible to actually get any track time. Each $60, 45 minute class we signed up for our dog got a total of 4-5 minutes inside the track since he was fast and there is so much overhead getting the 4 other dogs in and out of the track each time. Its hard to justify spending that amount of money especially when some of the trainers were barely even helpful or enthusiastic.My suggestions of what they would need to do to make it more appealing to someone like me:- Have 3 different levels of agility (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). The bar to join advanced is very high, so you are stuck in beginner with a very wide range of skill and speed levels.- Do larger chunks of time in the room and dont make all people be there the entire time. The overhead of getting dogs in and out is extremely high and honestly in our classes people werent even really doing the same thing in each round so there just isnt any value.- Offer more classes w/ smaller class sizes. It is partly about the money, but its also about the waste of time. I dont see how my dog could really make significant progress by just getting 4-5 minutes of practice each session so it isnt very encouraging to continue.

I had an amazing experience at Zoom Room. I took my service dog in training there to improve his skills and his improvement is. like night and day. They found ways for me to train my dog new skills while in my wheelchair and were extremely accomodating. I highly recommend them to everyone with a dog regardless of the dogs current skill set. My dog had an amazing time there and was met with amazing positive reinforcement.

So far we love it here! Shea is an amazing trainer, and the facility is super nice and clean. My reactive dog is doing obedience classes and he is already improving so much with Shea. Also they have a really cool selection of dog treats and toys and chews for sale!

We have been having the best time at Zoom Room since it opened. From agility to obedience to tricks and more, it is a fun and safe time for you and your dog. The shopping is also stellar and they have a wide range of treats, toys, and other supplies. It’s very easy to make and track reservations online, too!

My pup has been loving her agility training sessions here. Theyre decently affordable and the instructors are always really patient and helpful. The staff are all lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Best place EVER!!! I had my 1st birthday pawty at Zoom Room, and it couldnt have been more perfect! I had 25 of my friends there to celebrate, and everyone was wagging their tails the whole time. The staff is incredibly kind. Highly recommend for private events!!!

Zoom Room has been great! The facility is big, clean, and organized. The trainers are kind and super helpful. After only a few sessions, they all know my dog, his quirks, what were working on, and how to interact with him. Were already seeing that our pup is doing much better! Love the classes and playgroups!

We have been doing the agility training, my small Maltipoo is learning and the crowd is kind, caring and knowledgeable.We are having a good time every training session.

I have attended several classes at the zoom room and it’s just been great. The training area is private, roomy and very clean. It is very well equipped. I have already recommended it to several friends.

Millie and I tried Zoom Room based on an instagram promotional and feel in love right away. Millie loves all the fun agility challenges and I am floored to just watch her learn. It really is a great bonding experience for the two of us. I feel like we always leave tired and smiling! I highiy recommend this place. The instructors are super helpful and the space is overall very inviting!

Zoom Room is a clean, positive, professional environment for dogs of all ability levels. They offer puppy training, agility, and obedience. I take my dog for agility training and have worked with a few different trainers that are all great. They are happy to work on whatever he needs and give plenty of tips on how he can succeed. Everyone on staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. The gym is spacious and always tidy, and includes a pet store up front, plus amenities such as coffee/water and 2 clean restrooms.

Willow and I have just started Agility Training at the Zoom Room. It’s been a lot of fun for both of us. The staff and trainers are friendly, upbeat and supportive and the space is huge and clean. I have been wishing for an agility space and now it’s finally here.

My pup and I have been having so much fun at Zoom Room lately! Went during grand opening and was able to try a $10 intro course and besides it being the cutest thing, I was able to bond with Kanu in a new and interactive way. Our favorite class is agility followed by puplates, but we committed to a membership and hope to try out even more of their classes in the new year :)Should mention that the space is huge and clean!! Staff are informative, patient, and dog loving. Theyre also well stocked with training treats, treats at different value levels, toys, supplies, etc.If youre in the neighborhood and want to escape the cold and looking for an activity, definitely try them out!

The absolute best. My dog now sits, stops ,speaks,rolls over, paw left and right, and creepy crawls all thanks to the wonderful staff at zoom room. At this rate hell be driving a car soon.
