Petco Grooming

The groomer (Rose?) was great with Kiana, and did an awesome job making my stinky husky look and smell nice again!

Yesterday was the worst experience ive ever had. I arrived ontime for my 9am appointment and had to wait outside the store for over 15 minutes. No one communicated the process to me and i was very confused as the store was closed. I called the store number and no one answered. My experience with the clerk at the grooming desk was unpleasant. She was passive aggressive and wanted to convince me after i drove an hour for the appointment that because its my dog’s first time there (despite it not being his first grooming experience) that they’d only groom his face, feet and sanitary area. I firmly declined and told her he would be calm and cooperative. I was told the appointment would take between 2-3 hrs . I waited for 3 hours and no one contacted me. After calling the store i was told that the groomer works on multiple dogs at a time….and if i cant wait, i can come and pick up my unfinshed dog. After communicating clearly what i wanted in terms of hair cut. I picked up my dog 40 minutes later, and he looks like an older adult with a terminal illness. My family and I will have to endure this emotional damage for at least a month, before he looks healthy and normal again. To say i am disappointed in the service would be an understatement. I see the positive reviews, which is why i went there, id hate to believe that i was treated differently because i was Black.

I have been taking my Golden Doodle Peaches to PetCo for Grooming since we got her. They have always taken great care of her and she always looks forward to seeing the groomers there. I love that I can schedule through the app and I actually save a lot of money using PetCos Vital Care program. I take my other 3 dogs there occasionally for nail trims.

The ladies did a fantastic job of deshedding my lab! However, the charge to my credit card was ridiculous! I was told that the charge would be $40 plus tax and my card was charged $106.00!!!!

Cat was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and addressed my concerns for my dog Sadie. She was gentle and caring with my baby. Cat was very patient with me also! Sadie looked amazing when I picked her up and wasn’t scared or nervous. I’ll definitely bring Sadie back! Thank you Cat!

Went to my dog following an appointment of 3 months, and the groomer was not their other groomer who refused to help. Im disabled and did not get any help. 8 called first and didnt tell me the situation. Never again. Shes an old dog. No consideration. No love 💔

Expensive bath but worth it to get my pups nails clipped. He smelled amazing afterwards and was so soft. Staff were nice

Our pups appointment was moved up by a few hours which was excellent. The groomer was very sweet. She greeted our dog like an old friend. He was so happy and smelled wonderful when he was done.

My dogs started out the experience very hesitant to go in to the grooming area. I didnt realize how long the grooming process would be and I was worried about how the dogs would act about being in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people for a while. Both groomers were exceptionally patient, friendly and awesome, and apparently my pups did extremely well, no doubt in part to the excellent groomers. My dogs smelled great, felt all sorts of fluffy and soft again, and seemed quite happy when I went to pick then up. Fantastic job!

Update: my favorite groomer was out for a few months to have a child, so I had to find some other place to take my dogs. I do not have any problems, and the groomers were friendly and attentive. They called my attention to coupons in the app. My dogs have been half a dozen times with zero issues. I do miss that my dogs just got a hang out cage list at my other groomer but these people are efficient and they know how to do their job. 4 stars for grooming.I came to enjoy the puppy playgroup/socializing but the *entire* thing was a sales pitch. The attendant literally did not stop talking and even some of the information that was given about puppies was incorrect. The sales person/trainer picked up my puppy and held it for the full five minutes it had in the pen with the other dog. What is the point of bringing a puppy to playgroup?!I asked about grooming prices and was a bit appalled. $48 for a 5lb puppy. My friend shared that their dog died in their grooming salon that day.. guess we’re passing on that particular service.I find that while the staff are friendly, they don’t have much-any first-hand experience. Not to mention, I was asked six times if I know about their training classes. While I was holding a flyer for their training classes.

Excellent experience! My two Yorkies look and smell great! Groomer listened to my concerns as one Yorkie has one eye, and I requested to give him a look that doesnt show his scar. Kaetlyn did a great job! Thank you!

Watched them be very , very rough with a dog, kept yanking on the dogs legs to cut his nails. dog keep yipping cause they kept getting his paw.

My dog is a Bernedoodle but was shaved a few weeks ago at another shop. However, when we went to this visit I was charged for a long hair appointment it her hair is short so I feel I was overcharged!

2 days after bath and full comb out, I was able to comb out another dog of fur from my australian shepherd. I dont think a comb out was ever done but paid $97.00!

Lisa did such a great job with my dog Boomer. She handeled him so gently and was so helpful and kind to me. Salon is spotlessly clean. I already have his next 2 appointments set to go back.

Cat did an excellent job grooming my little dogs, Emma & Mya…

Chases groomer was so caring and she loves her job and you can tell by the care that she gave to my baby chase. I was concerned about some of his behavior but he hates bath and hia nails done but she insured me that he had no behavior problems with her.

First of all Lisa is awesome. Ruthie is nice and clean. What I would like to change would be the cut. When I got home I was able to look better at her and the areas cut were so uneven. I would have liked her brushed better instead of just blown dry. Im sure Ruthie was part of the problem. She was anxious. I will certainly give it another try with petco. The date sent me differs with what was handed me. Can you confirm the correct date? Thank you again

Our Tyson absolutely loves going to see his groomer, Lisa. She understands that he is a rescue and that he is in need of a loving gentle touch. Nothing is better than seeing his excitement when he is groomed.

The staff were extremely friendly, visibly kind to my dog, and reassured me theyd let us keep our appointment even though I had to drive have to retrieve the proof of rabies vaccination I forgot to bring.

My older dog was not distressed when we left. As his sight is not the best any more, he has a hard time with people but he seemed content and happy to have been pampered

The dog handler was very good with meeting my dog for the first time. she went over all the areas that needed attention. very friendly with my dog.

My pups always come out looking and smelling wonderful and it is obvious that Amber enjoys working with my Zsuzsi and April!

Every time I want into the petco theres a sick/dead/hurt animal and I have to tell them they need to check all the animals on a regular basis they also never have food for my lizard/frog the need to order more or something because I know Im not the only one who need super worms ect for my pets they say they get an order of them every Tuesday but even if you go on a Tuesday they have nothing

I couldnt be happier with how my puppy and I were treated by all the staff especially Lisa!! He came out perfectly

The people at Petco grooming are detail oriented. Be sure to tell them what you want your pup to look like.
