Whats unique about Hillside Kennels is that they DONT use crates! Each dog has a small room inside. They all have a doggy door to a large run outside. Each run is separate from other dogs. In addition, they are very particular that your dog is fully vaccinated. The cost of boarding is affordable. The peace of mind I have knowing my boy is safe and well lets me enjoy whatever I needed to board him for. Also the groomer there, Leslie, is very good with my pup. She is fast and efficient and also affordable.

Warning. This kennel does not have the capacity to care for elderly pets, no matter what they tell you! We left him there for two weeks. When we collected him, he was emaciated, his fur matted, confused, smelled and could barely walk. I got him home and groomed him and made him comfortable. It was a holiday weekend so, the vet was not available. He died within 60 hours of picking him up.Response to owner comment. Perhaps the name is different than what is listed on Google. I will not call you, there is nothing you can say or do. You were neglectful and did not seek the care of his vet.

Very disappointed. After picking up my two dogs this morning and them both smelling rancid. One dog bed had some vomit in it and the other was wet with urine. As well as both blankets. They both immediately were given baths. Upon calling I got, I am so sorry we do check their beds every morning. But being that they were in the back kennel as long term boarding it may have been overlooked. Not acceptable!

We LOVE Hillside Kennels. They were recommended to us by our vet. We boarded our 2 dogs, Benji (2yr old GSD) and Freya (3yr old pitbull), over the weekend while we were on vacation. We were running late and they stayed open late for us so we could still board them, they gave them their kennel cough vaccinations for $25 each and made sure they got their nexguard in their food that night. I called on Saturday to check in on the dogs and they immediately knew who I was calling about and we’re happy to give me updates on how they were doing. When we picked them up this morning they were very nice and said they did amazing, albeit they had a short outburst with some other dogs for a bit. We noticed when we got home that they had given them baths and clipped their nails for us for free. We honestly cannot recommend Hillside Kennels more. They are amazing and we’ll definitely be using them in the future. We’re even considering doggy daycare 3 days a week. Thank you Hillside Kennels!

The team at Hillside Kennels is wonderful! My Taste Buds and I will always make this our first choice whenever we need to leave or dog.They also have grooming service, and whenever we pick up our pet, he always comes home cleaner than we brought him, and he is always happy to.As always, we try it, we share it, now you decide. 🐕

Great service and friendly staff. Our Yorkie look so adorable after their baths & trims! Boarding them is always pleasant.

My pup was at hillside from Thursday to Monday. Price was very reasonable, drop off and pick up couldnt have been easier. When I asked over the phone how he was, the lady knew which dog was mine immediately and was able to tell me about his stay. On pick up he was happy and clean. Id definitely bring my nutty border Collie back here if I were to go away again!

Love Eva and Steve! They took care of my pet for a week and when I picked her up she was following Eva around!!! I take her to get groomed there as well and shes always excited to go in!!! I love this place! Great prices, great people and great service!

I have been bringing my Bulldog to Hillside for a while. He is always well cared for and they do a fantastic job grooming him before I pick him up. I travel a lot and feel very confident leaving him with Eva and Leslie. I highly recommend Hillside Kennel and grooming.

This kennel was recommended by a friend. I boarded my small dog for the weekend and she came back filthy and so sad looking when I picked her up. You can pay extra for special attention to your pet, but I thought, for the price, she wouldnt have to be laying in dirt and ignored.

We wouldnt trust our babys with anyone else...

Was told the groomer had 20 plus years of experience I brought my yorkie in with a picture of what I wanted and specific instructions His hair is cut so short it is ridiculous I would never recommend

Hillside has been our go to place. We have boarded our dogs other places, not saying they are bad, but hillside goes above and beyond!!!!Our three dogs are all different in there own way. One of them traditionally can not be around people because she (terrier) will go after them, yet the staff at hillside found her soft spot.They tend to fill during holidays (because they are that amazing) so I recommend booking early.

Looks like somebody removed my review from 3 years ago! Do NOT recommend this place. I left my two dogs here for a week 3 years ago and my older dog came back to me cowering and with bloody paw pads. His nails were trimmed so short it was insane. When i asked if they trimmed them, everybody got VERY defensive about it instead of giving me a different explanation.DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEM. THEY ARE LIARS AND ARE ABUSIVE.Also if yall continue to remove my review I will just keep putting it back up. Accept that you messed up and get over it.

Eva and staff are the best❣ Hillside Kennels is a wonderful facility, They are kind, patient and take great care of our pups. We wouldnt trust anyone else with our furbabies.🐩🐩

Lovely staff and facilities. I highly recommend a doggy stay if your are going on an extended vacation like we did. Skippy came back to us good as new and happy.
