Peekskill Dog Park

Quiet hidden gem, has a little brigde over a stream and 2 benches.

This is an amazing dog park with great people, the community at the park is extremely involved. This is a great place to meet friendly people.

The park is a little small. It does have a section for small dogs and a section for larger dogs. I find that in this park people are friendlier and more comfortable with larger breeds. There is no running water for your dogs. There are no facilities for pet owners. The park is fairly well kept and there are some toys for dogs to play with. There is also a very basic agility course if you will. If there are more than 5 dogs in the large breed section it becomes a little cumbersome. I do find pet owners here are more aware of their pets and seem to understand when their pet is not behaving well and it might be time to leave. I havent found that to be the case and other local dog parks.

This is a very good dog park. Two separate areas make it easy to maneuver dogs around to mitigate conflict, and each side is perfectly equipped for your dog to have a great time. Pork Chop has made some really good friends here, and it is our local dog park. Five stars!

Small but nice because it has woodchips that dont get muddy like other dog parks. So many owners leave the gate open!! My dog got out 2 times and its right near a main road. The only reason I go here is last resort when everywhere else is muddy.

I do not live in peekskill but I was visiting with my dog and found this lovely park. The community here was more than welcoming and understood their dog’s behavior with others very well which I find important to be communicative on this. Love it here and would love to return again!

Nice enough park with separate large and small dog sections. Wood chips, some agility equipment. Plenty of tennis balls usually available. No running water but bowls if you bring your own.Edit: running water is available at the park during warm months now!

I stopped here for my dog on our road trip and it was easy to find and get to off the highway. Theres 2 areas for dogs. Theres water available as well. It was a perfect break for his anxiety and for us as well.

Just a fenced in area. Not a lot of room for the dogs to really run. Minimal parking. No running water. Bring a jug for your pup. There are some agility obstacles and a bench on both small dog and large dog sides.

Its a nice little dog park, but alittle hard to find. New fence but beware of ticks and skunks! In addition there is no grass, its mostly dirt and woodchips.

Great park that is free and bug enough for most dogs. All wood chips, but everyone is clean and respectful.

Nice spacious, fenced area. Poop bags, kiddie pools, water bowls all supplied. Ill be using it quite often.

Theres not that much space for small dogs, but its an okay space for big dogs.

Not the biggest place, but well kept and not too muddy.

Cleverly built, has two separate areas for different types of dogs (small/large or aggressive/friendly). Well maintained, clean, plenty of toys and structures.
