I have been sending my hound to Karen for years. She is so caring with him. He gets so much love when he’s with her because she truly loves animals. My boys, Maverick and Goose, love Auntie Karen as we affectionately call her! She has been taking care of them since they were kittens and they absolutely love when she comes to visit. She sends videos of Maverick rolling around on the floor to greet her (such a flirt) … not a move he does for me when I come home! Karen is professional, trustworthy, and always flexible to put us in her schedule. The peace of mind I have knowing she is caring for them when I travel is priceless. Especially with Goose who has asthma and needs his asthma pump administered daily. I love that she cares for my cats as if they were her own. We are lucky to have found her!!

Karen is amazing! She is always responsive and takes amazing care of my two cats, they love her. She really goes above and beyond with care, and makes sure everyone is cared for. She not only always makes sure basic needs are met but also sends daily updates and responds to any questions we have while we are away. Special diet? No problem. Animal needs medication? No problem. Shy pet? No problem. She is great, I highly recommend for anyone with cats (and apparently she is amazing with dogs too!)

Karen is wonderful! We couldnt recommend her more highly. We recently went away and needed someone to take care of our two cats. Karen took such amazing care of our fur babies - from the start, we felt totally comfortable with her and knew we could trust her. Karen was instrumental in not only taking our puppy Layla on a nice lengthy walk every day but also watched her when we went away. Karen is the absolute best. We first used her as a dog walker and now use her when we need someone to take care of our dog overnight or for a few days at a time. Karen is the ultimate dog whisperer! I have 2 rescue dogs who are super nervous and are fearful of people. Karen has the patience of a saint with my 2 fur babies. She is super gentle, loving and caring. Karen is very knowledgeable and has a ton of experience with dogs. She was able to build up trust with my dogs, and now they greet her with kisses and wagging tails instead of growling. I love that she sends me pictures and videos when she takes out the dogs, totally makes my day! Karen also referred me to an awesome dog trainer and other things like yummy healthy treats and proper collars. She really is the BEST!!!! I completely trust my 2 pups in her care. Im so happy that we found her.

Karen is an awesome dog walker. My dogs love her, shes always on time, sends pics of their walks and is very responsive. Shes very flexible and willing to do extra walks when needed and if she isnt available for a given time she can usually help me find another dog walker who is. I know my babies are safe and cared for with her!

I have two labs, two & 12 years old. The younger lab does not trust strangers, and it takes a long time to establish trust. Karen worked diligently with him, and won him over rather quickly; I was really surprised at first, but it makes perfect sense - she loves animals, and it shows in everything that she does. My guys look forward to seeing her every day, shes now part of the pack. Karen is patient, loving, reliable, knowledgeable about her craft, flexible with scheduling whenever possible, and I trust her to care for our pets. I highly recommend her.

When we got our rescue Jolene (at 10 weeks), she was very excitable, didn’t understand we didn’t want to be bitten, had no off switch, and was tough to judge around people and dogs she didn’t know.Fortunately, we got her in for regular visits at Karen’s K9 way. The change was quick. Karen knows how to pair her up with dogs that are good matches for her. Jolene can’t wait to get there. She learned good pack play, and the biting stopped completely. Now she’s 2, and not only turned out to be a real sweetheart, but her socialization is excellent. She loves meeting new people and new pups. I have to give credit where credit is due. Karen (and her pup Sam!) played a big role in Jolene’s developing into a wonderful dog. We can’t thank them enough.In addition, we’re new to town and have the usual questions and need for advice. Karen is a major resource for anything Peekskill-related. She generously fills us in on basically anything we need to know. A wonderful friend and a great neighbor!

I recommend Karen wholeheartedly for your pet care needs!! Karen came to our home twice a day, fed our two kitties and gave them love and attention while we were away. She sent us videos of our kitties and they were purring and happy with her petting them. I felt so relieved leaving Lucy, Oliver and our home in her care!

Karen is the best dog sitter in the world! We leave our Tibetan Terrier puppy Grover with her 3 mornings a week to play with her puppy Sam, so he gets his energy out and is socialized. We also use Karen for dog sitting for Grover (we leave him at her place) when my husband travels for work, which is now becoming quite frequent. Grover loves her and loves going to her place! She is fantastic and trusting, and, something that is very important to me, she does not have too many dogs. There are quite a few services that have 10+ dogs, and that is just too many for my (and Grovers) liking. Karen gives personal, caring, and terrific attention to Grover and every pup that graces her doorway.

We are so grateful for Karen! When we moved to the area an first met Karen, she provided more than an orientation to the area. She provided us with a snapshot of the community and helped us feel welcome. Karen has a background as a vet tech so we felt confident that she would and could handle any emergency should one arise. She communicates promptly, sends daily videos and pics, and gets our guys! Love the comment about the grudge time being reduced - couldnt agree more! Thank you Karen!

Karen was so patient with our anxious little guy. She took the best care of our three pups and kept us updated on how they were while we were away. It is so hard to leave them, but so good to know they were well taken care of. So blessed to have found her!

Our cats love Karen-- even the super scardy cat! We found her when we had to go away and leave our two elderly (and one not so elderly) cats for a week and we needed someone who was comfortable in case of a medical emergency (they were both ill). Karen was very knowledgeable and made us feel completely comfortable with pictures and videos at every visit. The cats keep asking when she can come back :-)

I could not agree more with all the great reviews Karen has on here. She has been my go to cat sitter since I moved to the area and I really wouldnt want to leave my kitties in the care of anyone else. Her personality is very calm and relaxed and I think animals respond well to that. Even my most skittish cat likes her!After having her cat sit a few times for me while on long extended trips I have found her to be super reliable, readily available, and extremely accommodating. Not only does she respect your pets and your house like they were her own, but she comes for a meet and greet to get to know you and your pets way of life and works hard to keep the routine they are used to. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care services.

We had the pleasure of leaving our Husky/Lab mix with Karen this weekend. I never thought I would ever use the word pleasure with leaving our dog anywhere. We found Karen on Yelp after a couple of Kennels said they werent open on Sundays or Presidents Day which would mean wed have to wait until Tuesday to pick up our do.. something we did not want to do. So thankful the Kennels were not flexible with their pick-up times or we might not have found Karen. Well only use Karen going forward! She suggested we meet the week before at her house. We brought Leia over and she hit it off right away with Karens dog, Sam. Leia had a blast playing with her. We knew instantly it was the right fit. Karen is incredibly knowledgable and super dog savvy. You can tell that this is truly her passion and she loves what she does.We dropped Leia off on Friday night and while we missed her, we did not worry about her as we knew she was having a great time with her new best dog friends! Karen sent us updates, pictures and videos! It was such a relief to get updates on her and be able to see what a great time she was having! I actually think she had more fun than we did! She spent the entire day after we picked her up snoozing on the couch. I highly recommend Karens K9 Way to anyone looking for a pawsitively amazing experience. :)

I commute into the city for work so occasionally have some long days. All I was looking for was someone to help with quick potty breaks in the afternoons, but I got so much more with Karen. She always takes my pup out for 25-minute walks and sends pictures and texts and videos--its the highlight of my day when I cant actually be there myself. She is so wonderful with animals, 100% reliable, and just exudes positive energy. I couldnt recommend Karen more!!

There are hardly words to contain how much I love having Karen walk my dog Evelyn. She is easy to communicate with, always responsive, and has been flexible if I needed to make any last minute adjustments-- and of course my pup absolutely loves her too! I also enjoy getting updates from their walks and seeing how happy Evelyn is to be getting that extra love and attention, not to mention exercise. Worth everything!

Karen is amazing, she loves animals and my cat loved her. She provided house sitting my ninja cat, where she checks in each day and sends confirmation via text, brought in mail, and watered my plants. I would definitely use Karen again.

Karen took wonderful care of my cat, Marcel. She is very thorough in getting all the information she needs beforehand, and left everything very clean. And I loved receiving daily short videos of my boy while I was away! I will be using her services regularly.

You know when you invite someone over for the first time and you introduce to/warn them about your pet, they say no problem, I love animals, in your head you go yeah ok, and two seconds later your pet is making a hypocrite of you and like a little traitor officially loves that person more within two minutes?Yeah that person is Karen, animals LOVE her because theyre not dummies and can sense that Karen LOVES them. My sister and her husband recommended Karen to us when we moved into the area, and to say she is an incredible human who has a gift with animals would be an understatement! She took the time to get to know us and our two dogs, Luna and Ralph. Our one dog, Ralphie, is a very special boy who has a ton of anxiety and is very fearful of humans. It takes him a very long time to trust people, and after moving to a new neighborhood, we were worried we wouldn’t find someone who would be able to bond with him and let him out when we were away. (He has a very exclusive list of friends!) Our Luna girl is very loud and excitable and wants to be everyone’s best friend. The two of them together are a lovable furry handful, to say the least! Karen got to know our dogs and their quirky ways, cared for them while we were away, and sent us video and photo updates that warmed our hearts and eased our minds. (We couldn’t believe how quickly Ralphie took to Karen and clearly felt safe with her, and free to be his dopey self that we love so much!) Knowing that our doggies are loved and cared for while we are away is such a gift, and we are beyond grateful for “Auntie Karen” and the extra TLC she gives our Ralphie Boy and Luna Girl!

I can’t say enough good things about Karen and Karen’s K-9 Way. We bring our puppy to Karen three mornings a week for playdates. Magnolia can barely control her excitement in the car on the way over. Once there, under the caring eyes of Karen, Magnolia spends a couple of hours running around and playing with an assortment of pups in Karen’s fenced in yard or, if the weather is bad, romping around her dog-proof living room. (Karen thoughtfully sends photos and videos, and we see just how happy Magnolia and all the pups are under her care.) Magnolia always leaves Karen’s happy and exhausted. Her long afternoon naps make it easier for my husband to get his work done at home.But Karen doesn’t just provide awesome playdates. When my husband was away and I was at work all day, Karen came to our house to make sure Magnolia and our big old guy, Beckett, got some exercise and a chance to relieve themselves. It was such a comfort to know that both dogs had someone as loving and caring as Karen coming to check in on them during the day.If you’re looking for puppy playdates, a dog-walker, a dog-sitter, just someone who loves and cares for dogs, Karen is the person for you.

Karen walks our Boston terrier multiple times a week, and is fantastic at dealing, and being patient with our ever shifting schedules. Definitely couldnt do without her!
