I recently adopted a green cheek conure who lived at this store for a year. Cody, the assistant manager, was so kind and helpful. Baby Man (Government Name: Angus) has fit right in and adores my cockatiel. Thank you for keeping him safe.

Love this pet supply plus. The nice person at the register noticed they had a deal with one of the items I was buying and ran off to pick my car a free toy (that has become one of his favorites now) very kind and caring staff. I can absolutely tell they care for us and our pets like theyre their own. Never had a problem with this pet supply plus unless it was stock issues which is out of their control. Love this place!

The fish at this pet shop are amazing! They have a great selection of fish. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and are always happy to help. The fish are always healthy and well-cared for. Stopped in with my dog and asked if they could trim her nails. The people in the grooming area were really nice and helpful. They were able to take her right away, so I shopped for a new rubber flying disc (Frisbee). They were very kind to my pet and were able to file the nails too. Will use them again.

I visit every couple weeks for the dog wash and always purchase a few goodies. I wasnt thrilled when the dog wash price went up recently and decided to try country max....and NOPE, Ill pay more for a clean, functional dog wash at PSP. Their staff seem to change quite a bit but even the new folks have always been kind and helpful.

This location was very clean! The staff were polite and they had leash hooked up on the floor so my old dog could lay down well being blow-dried with out getting wet like when ge laid in the tub . I will come back

I took my mini-poodle in for her much needed grooming. Eve was the stylist. She did an incredible job! My dog looks fabulous! Kudos to Eve!

Pet Supplies Plus in Penfield is a wonderful store. They have a nice selection of toys and food. I bought a male parakeet from them in October. He is a happy, healthy little bird and we adore him. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to everyone.

Unfortunately, I didnt get names but a young man stocking shelves helped me find good cat food to try for GI issues. I didnt even have to go looking for help, he approached me. The young man at the register (arm in a sling) is always so nice when I come in. I usually find what I need and everyone is both nice and knowledgeable.

My sleepy girl Dez after getting groomed by Erica!!! She has been doing my girl for a few times now and she has been awesome with me as a pet parent telling me everything she did to her and does an awesome job with my girl!!!!! Dez has a rough time with her paws getting done and her nails done and I have no issues when Erica grooms her!!!! If I can recommend any one there to get there dog groomed it would be her!!! Thanks Erica so much for everything!!!!!

Had both my dogs (Shih tzu and Shih tzu mix) come in for a full service groom with Vanessa and she was amazing! She was very understanding and when I couldn’t get ahold of my vet to prove my dogs had their rabies shots she let me reschedule an hour later with no charge or hassle. She truly did a wonderful job!

Eve was the groomer for my dog Ty and did an excellent job. The staff is friendly and helpful. Will be returning for services and products!

For pet store, its a good place to go. They had the Seresto collars that we needed for our dogs. They also provided us the current discounts without us having to use an app or a flyer or anything which was very much appreciated.

My Golden has a sensitivity to Chicken, and has a sensitive stomach, The vet said to try Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach, well all the stores are out. Coming in and explaining my situation they immediately showed me my options. Totally honest and said I can sell you the most expensive stuff buy there is a brand that is better, limited ingredients and absolutely no chicken... I got it and my dog loves it and no issues...

Would have given 5 stars, dogwash was under construction last time I went.Other than that, I havent had any complaints. One of the cashiers can be kind of chatty.... she really likes my dog.Everyone is usually very helpful, and (obviously) my dog loves visiting. 😊

Brought my little dog in for grooming and I regret it so much! Her fur was cut super choppy (gashes and unevenness). She was already short haired to begin with. I would have been better off doing it myself. Absolutely terrible job and will never take my dog into get groomed. I’m quite disappointed. Also, must add that I had to go over missed areas myself with scissors and clippers. That’s very stressful for the dog.Normally, I would rate this location 5 stars for excellent customer service despite often not having products available. Unfortunately, the grooming service should not be offered at this location.

Love coming here!! The first night we got our puppy, one of the staff members educated us on all of our options for food and treats. He told us what to look for and what to avoid. It was nice to work with someone that clearly knows what theyre talking about, especially being a new pet owner. Thank you!

Stopped by to get some fish for our new aquarium. Had a nice guy who was very knowledgeable and helpful . Eager to educate my 6 and 11 year old kids about the fish. Wish they had more fish choices and better lighting in the tanks to see the fishes true colors. Will be back!

Very helpful and welcoming staff. I always purchase my dog and cat food from them. They also have a great bath area for dogs. Buy the special card and pay $5 a bath. The fee includes different shampoos, conditioners and as long as you need to wash and dry. And the best part is I dont have dog hair and wet dog all over our home.

Milo and I have been going to this store for a couple of years now. We have never had anything but the upmost professional service. I just moved to Rochester after being in Colorado for 30+ years. Needed some Cat food for the best cat in the world and Pet Supply Plus had the product that I wanted. It was $5 cheaper than in Denver and the guys in the store helped me twice with items that I needed. I will be back and I really appreciated the attention.

The employees went out of their way to help me find a food for my fussy dog who has decided she doesnt like her food anymore. She gave me good advice and Im trying your brand of canned dog food.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. If you sign up for their mailers, they send good coupons from time to time. They also have a good selection of dog food and treats.

I do not recommend Erica the groomer. I dropped my pet off for a grooming and I left. When I got to my car, I remembered that I had to pick up a few necessities so I went back in to the store to purchase them and I’m guessing Erica did not know I was present. All of a sudden I hear screaming and yelling at my dog. She was yelling at her so loud that I heard her in the back of the store. My dog is still a puppy, and is obviously anxious since it’s only her 3rd visit to the groomer. Instead of making her feel safe and comfortable, she was yelling at the top of her lungs “Get OFF ME!!” And “NO,STOP!” “GET OFF NOW” “I SAID NO” but all in a loud aggressive tone . My puppy doesn’t understand those commands and any experience ld groomer would realize that screaming aggressively would only scare her.I will never take any of my pets bask to Erica again. I advise anyone to try another location. She traumatized my dog .

Staff turned on the self wash and then proceeded to get on the floor and talk to/pet my dog for several minutes, then couldnt find the towels. When I finally got into the self wash is was disgusting and I had to clean it before I could wash my dog in it. Then they wanted to charge me for a second bath because it had been 30 minutes since the person turned it on. It only took so long because I was blocked from getting in there by the staff member petting my dog and not being able to find towels and then having to clean it. The water pressure is good in the self wash, and the dryers work great.

Got a beta fish here about a year ago. They told me he had a cleft pallet so he had a pretty slim chance of surviving. A year later Jose is swimming around and I’ve even taught him a few tricks! Thank you Pet Supplies Plus for the great advice on how to care for him and for the fish with the biggest attitude you may ever see!! My beautiful pink beta fish and I thank you!

Ben knows his fish! He answered every dumb question I had and suggested some online communities if I ever had any more questions. He definitely made us returning customers and I look forward to asking more questions if I ever have any. I felt like the staff knew what they were talking about, but were quick to say when they didnt know something (which I really appreciate).

All she wanted to do was up charge, and when I did not..... , I was no more then 5 minutes gone and I receive a call they cant do our dog cause he is agressive.... He is a small male shih Tzu and these corporation grooming places all they want to do is up charge you or find fault with your dog they show me a video when I return of cocoa scared in the tub with big blue gloves over his face and a sprayer ( after reading reviews, I believe too my dog was intimated and treated very poorly, never have we seen him so scared..... I immediately took him out of the tub, they refused to groom or dry him unless I drug him!Absolutely, would not recommend this grooming place!Dog is very sweet and they scared him and did not appoach him kindlyRip off!.Owner!!! Please call me...I will not be silent, what happened!I should of stayed in store and recorded it!!!!Call Corporation!

I was in this store to purchase food for my dog. I am an older woman and was anxious to not spend more time than necessary because of Covid-19. Since the only visible employee was speaking to another customer, I dragged the large bag over to a place in line by myself. The cashier observed me struggling with the bag and never offered any assistance to get it to the register nor to my car. Three weeks hence, I am still dealing with back strain that could have been prevented by a little consideration. Will shop elsewhere.

They eliminated their rewards program and stole all of our earned cash that we were saving for more dog food. We were loyal customers for 5 years. Greedy owners. Its also fraudulent marketing to trick people into spending with them versus competitors.

The women that groomed dog, did THE WORKS on him, everything grooming intails, from head to tail👀😁 ... He went in looking like a golden retriever, a coat of hair layered thick long and girly and he came out actually looking like the chocolate lab hes supposed to be lol.... Hes 8 years old so somewhat elderly, and arthritic, they were very gentle on him did a wonderful job he came out smelling great and looking 20 lb lighter nails trimmed and all were the cutest bandana! The cost came to $63 and some change i recall! Meanwhile the amount of work she did on him I honest to God anticipated it to be nearly 300 LOL she spent 3 hours on him did a beautiful job the price was magnificent. I will forever go there!!! Beyond impressed and satisfied!!! Lets just say both my dog and myself had wagging tails on our way out the door! Worth EVERY CENT! We were, BEYOND IMPRESSED.!Oh! And did I mention, same day appointment?!?!😮🎉💯❣️

Do not buy from their bulk food sections. Although they are a better price, the food itself has bugs in them. Purchased the bulk several times, 1st time I thought it was because the food wasnt stored in a proper storage container only the original bag it was purchased in. 2nd time bought less and when we brought it home the bugs were already in the food. returned immediately and the only thing the store did was throw out the food that I returned.

Bully Braids dog chews. Dog likes I dont. Way to expensive. Thank you for the clerk offering 10%off still $22.48 for a package of 3. Only bought them because I am dog sitting for my daughter, didnt want to change the type of chews .

Love this store! They had a great sale on some wet food I was looking at, and the cashier was awesome and signed me up for their rewards program.

I love PPS overall, I dont have much to complain about. I absolutely love that they have the do it yourself dog wash, its perfect for when my dogs get muddy and I dont want to clean up the aftermath of my bathroom when I bathe muddy dogs.

I’ve used this store for ages because it’s right around the corner from me. We had a family member unexpectedly go into the hospital, & in the chaos, we ran out of dog food. I placed a curbside order to be able to grab on my way home, but due to some unexpected updates at the hospital, I left later than planned. I was crossing my fingers I could make it prior to 6:00 to avoid having to go to a different pet store in Victor for our dogs food. I ended up arriving at the store right at 5:59. (Closing at 6:00). I absolutely *hated* being that person, but it had been a rough week. I didn’t grab a name, but the younger guy working was so kind and compassionate bringing my order out to me right at 6:00. I apologized up and down for being that person, and he was so kind. Having worked retail prior, I know how much you want to close up right on time. This week just got the best of us, and having such a friendly face after a tough day was much appreciated. If you can find out who was locking up at 6:00, please thank him for me! I didn’t want to go into all the details with him, but his kindness was the highlight of a very rough week.

DONT RISK YOUR PETS HEALTH HERE! the bulk bird food has bugs in it crawling all over as well as visible moldin the bulk bins MY PARAKEET HAD TO GO TO THE VET BECAUSE OF MOLD INGESTION! its disgusting and could make your pet sick, the staff Members treat you like your dirt, one of the cashiers , heavyset blonde girl with glasses, ashley or ashlyn, i think her name is, is extremely rude everytime i ask for a price match shes rude and on more than one occasion a manager, with long blonde hair in a ponytail was very rude to me as well, made me feel extremely unwelcome and unwanted,i was told that i could price match more than one item per purchase, (which is completely false the other managers put multiple pricematches in for me on other occasions) this store is messy, unorganized and has EXTREMELY RUDE EMPLOYEES the manager with the blonde pony tail is inconsiderate of the customer and demonstrates poor customer service! unsanitary pet food! Moldy and bug infested bird food ? and dog food bags taped together with obvious holes in them, i wont be shopping here or at any pet supplies plus for the matter because the way i was treated by the cashier Ashlyn and her rude manager with the blonde ponytail, i will take my business elsewhere, DONT RISK YOUR PETS HEALTH!

Extremely convenient. Easy to get in and out of. Sometimes you can catch some great sales, and deals on near expired treats and foods. Great customer service, rare commodity these days.

First, I have never once seen the same groomers working there. Anyway, this time I brought in my dog to have his fur trimmed and they completely shaved him, leaving dozens of tiny cuts on his skin all over. Ive taken him here numerous times, but this is the first time anyone felt the need to completely remove ALL his fur. In addition, what has always cost around $65 dollars ballooned up to $100 with weird new charges. The groomer said he had fleas, so charged extra for flea shampoo when we know he did not have fleas because hes white and my wife combs his fur every night, so it would be pretty evident if he had them. In any case, since she removed ALL his fur, there was nothing to wash. There was a pre-shave charge, even though the decision to shave him was hers, not ours. All in all, such a horrible experience that well never bring him back here.

Erica groomed my dog Leo and took great care of him. He’s 11 years old and this is probably his best haircut ever! Took extra care to clean his ears really well and take out a few mattes he had. Great job!
