Pet Supplies Plus East Greenbush

I visited a Pet Supplies Plus store to purchase food for my ferrets and was dismayed to observe the unsanitary living conditions of the two ferrets being sold there. The enclosure was covered in excrement and urine, and their water bottle was outside of the cage. I replaced the bottle and brought it to the attention of an employee, who claimed he would clean the cage but was seen attending to another task instead. As a result, the ferrets were left without access to water for an extended period of time and were forced to live in their own waste. This was both disgusting and saddening to witness, especially as a ferret owner myself. They also want to charge $350 for each ferret, which in my opinion is ridiculous.

I would love to go in this store. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. I dont know who the purple hair lady is but she has changed my mind about going to this store. She is very rude. I was just asking about a coupon and she came out with attitude. Basically lied to me about it. I will choose another location before going to that one.

The grooming service here were so nice, but dont bother going now. You cant book online because they no longer have groomers. Idk when that happened as I was there 2 months ago and they had two wonderful groomers. They didnt update the website about their grooming Inability for East greenbush.Still a great store for pet supplies, just give up on the grooming. 😞

I went there because my dog came in contact with a skunk. Excellent place to go. Loved the dog washing facility. That was great. Staff was great, tons of different selections.Highly recommend it, I will go there again

Max always gets excited when he sees the staff. One guy in particular, cant really remember his name but hes super nice and clearly loves his job.

Was looking at a sand boa but it was buried in the sand. Asked if they could let us see it and they repeatedly said they only take them out if youre buying them. We didnt ask to take it out, but why would I spend $130 on a snake I cant even physically see? Walked right out, wont be back. Theres many other pet stores that allow you to see the animal before purchasing.

Friendly, helpful sales crew..prices good if you look for coupons an join. Most of your everyday animal things..not much in the way of bird supply tho..

Store hrs not correct got there 630 as staff is loading their vechile with stuff and oh we close at 6 sorry but it says 7 oh that not right

The dog grooming department there is awesome, especially their groomer named Maddi!! She has a great bond with the dogs

Great place to pick up pet supplies. You can also order ahead at this location and pick up in store. I have had issues with them being out of stock of items and then not notifying me for several hours after placing my order. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Never had a issue with them. They always offer to help me out to my car with large purchases.

This pla e is big inside, and my wife was waited in very good, with an expired coupon. The man who waited on her, was very kind and she ended up saving money with a different product. My dog Simon was happy too.

I placed an order for my cat online for pickup. My order was ready so quickly in less than 1 hour I was picking up my items. Fast and courteous. Highly recommend. No issues at all thank you

I have been to a good amount of dog groomers in this area and other places I’ve lived but no one was quite as warm, welcoming, and professional as Meghan.Not only did she work with my schedule but she also took the time to ask me questions about my dogs and truly got to know their personalities. I felt 100% safe leaving them in her care.When I picked them up they smelled great and looked amazing. Without exaggeration it was the best groom my dogs have ever had. Her skill level is amazing due to the fact that both of my dogs have different types of hair/fur. She did an amazing job on them and I was honestly very impressed.I recommend Meghan to all my friends with dogs. I truly think she’s the best in the area. Thank you meghan for making my babies look amazing. Can’t wait to see you again soon!

Should not be able to sell fish or any other animals if they arent going to be adequately cared for. Almost all of the betta fish were in cups full of their own filth that obviously hadnt been cleaned for some time. Some were starting to develop swim bladder disorder and fin rot.

Unfortunately I didnt get the young mans name that helped me but he was very patient. Got me exactly what I needed and was very friendly and professional. Great place to shop for your pets

I normally dont have a problem with this place but my last delivery experience was extremely aggravating! Same day delivery is same day delivery right? Apparently not in this case when the employees dont actually read the order. Delivery came the next day (after I had to call when I came home after work and still no delivery.) A big bag of dog food was missing from my order. Called the store again about the missing item, apparently out of stock and I had been contacted about the cancelation ...I was not notified, at all. I was told by the supervisor that they had called me about it the day I placed the order...FOR DELIVERY. I was not called, they said an automated email was sent out, I never recieved any email other than the confirmation of my placed order. I really dont see myself coming back to this location due to incompetence and aggravation which is unfortunate because I never had a bad experience before now.

With a family of multiple cats and dogs, I appreciate the discounts and reward member coupons as it adds up quick! Plus, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This stores fish tanks are clean. The guppies and snails I purchased are healthy and thriving a few months out now.

Alexis does a great job grooming our maltese! She makes him feel safe and relaxed.

I used the doh wash. Super clean and convenient. Only $15 and you can use there materials for 30min. Now my rottweiler smells like dessert!! 😁 Will be using again.

Always a great experience and awsome deals. Sign up for their rewards program and they send out amazing coupons. I saved $30+ on my order today compared to petsmart and the employees are always knowledgeable, helpful and the store is always crystal clean. Will not go to a different petstore they have made me a loyal customer on only my second visit.

The store is well organized but they didnt have much selection for 🐈 wet food in the royal canin brand. They didnt have much selection for cat furniture (trees) either. The prices are a little higher than other stores like PetSmart and Petco. If you shop here I would recommend signing up for their rewards to have coupons mailed.

Always helpful..facility for washing your own dog always clean and ready to go. Prices are right. Especially if you are frequent customer. Order on line, and they have ready to go. Easiest to get in and out of the store.

Ordered cat food online and within a short period of time it was ready for pick up. Love the coupons and variety of cat food and litter. I went into store and was promptly greeted and my order was ready to go.

Very big selection of cat foods, smaller selection of litter. Prices a tad on the high side on cat cans, avg prices on litter. Staff visible and helpful.

I love this pet store it is basically in my back yard. Always good sales, lots of monthly deals and perks but most of all their name brand pet food Redford is high quality healthy food for a fraction of the price compared to big name foods that have fillers and byproduct my 2 cats and my dog transitioned easily to Redford and are happy healthy furballs. Top notch Service team very friendly and helpful with proper knowledge of the products they carry. Store is always clean with a chance of someone stopping in with their own furballs thats just a win in its self.

I brought my dog (Rigby) in for a desperately needed haircut and Meghan did a great job. She explained what would be done and that she would get in contact with me when he was ready. When I arrived he was all set and waiting. Devon did an efficient job checking me out and even wrote all the information down that I would need for a future visit. Douglas in the grooming department should be commended, had my dog in today for his nails and Douglas was great. He took extra care when I told him my dog had long quicks and made sure he left in good shape.

Love this store !!And the absolute best part of it for me..The do-it-yourself dog bath area. I have a Newfoundland and during the winter time to bathe him in my house is next to impossible. You can buy a 5 bath coupon book for $25. There is multi size tiled step up bath area for every size dog, even a wash area on the floor if your dog is extra-large or is injured and cant step up ..... These are not home tubs.....they supply shampoo, their own towels which I would use on myself they are so clean, aprons so you dont get your clothes wet, and dryers. When you are done bathing your dog the staff will come by and tidy the area up for you. If you do not want to bathe your dog yourself they do have a grooming area where they will wash, and groom and trim your dog.They carry many brands of the upper end dog food, and not the grocery store crap. The stores always clean, always organized, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.Im most impressed about the large variety of dog food, cat food, etc they carry. The selection is not skimpy...... Pet supplies aisle is well-stocked with a large variety of toys, leashes and collars.You can also buy tropical fish, a nice reptile selection... Guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. And supplies for such.During the holidays you can have your pet picture taken with Santa, and they also have picture taking with Hudson the railroad puppy for the kids !! Great shopping experience!! Staff go out of their way to help beginning the minute you walk in the door!! I recently purchased a cat tree and am planning on getting a second, smaller one for my senior cats, too.

Have been there three times. All three times they have not had the food. The flea and tick treatment. Or the doggy sweatshirt or coat I was looking for. So basically wasted trips all three times. End up going to a pet smart or pet life.

My name is Brandon, my puppy broke his led yesterday and had it casted today I had to go get a few supply’s to prepare for the healing process ahead of us sadly right from the vet. I went to the store and was able to call from the parking lot and the girl stopped what she was doing and came out , got my credit card , and did my shopping for me rather then me having to disturb the puppy and have to carry him around the store In his condition! Very happy with the service I recieved from beet supply plus!

I am very into the fish hobby. I am experienced and have a lot of knowledge on the hobby. I went there tonight to check it out. We moved in close by and I wanted to see if it was good. It was not. Service was terrible. They were all hanging out by the bathroom conversating and laughing, there was only one man working in the grooming station. The fish are overcrowded with too many in one tank. There were multiple dead fish not taken care of. I noticed a lot of diseased fish too. Example, most of the Mollys had what is called Dropsy. This is usually hard to care for, usually it ends in the fishs death. It is caused by bad care of the water and filtration. The plants they were selling aswell were completely dead. Many Betta fish were dead in cups on shelves.Last thing I noticed was a lot of wrong information displayed for some types of fish. I am disgusted by the conditions all of the fish are in at this store. I would not recommend getting any fish from this store for they may die because of disease.

The groomer Meghan is so sweet and kind to my pup. She really knows what she is doing. My little man always comes out looking great. Charles always gets a spaw package wit his grooming and leaves with fresh breath,soft fur,and smells amazing after his haircut. Highly recommend getting th spaw add on because it includes teeth brushing,nail grinding, and a specialized shampoo and conditioner. My moms short haired dog also comes here for her grooms with Meghan for a regular deshedding treatment. Wouldn’t go to any other groomer. Would highly recommend requesting her for your grooming needs.

Between the lack of education of their staff and the level of unprofessionalism I will not be shopping here again. team members with airpods just chatting with eachother and dog groomers manhandling dogs as they bark and scream in the background.

Stopped at Pet Plus to get items for our local food pantry for those who may have lost their job and still have a fur baby to take care of. The manager and Staff were all very helpful in suggesting how best to provide for as many as my budget would allow. Fantastic!
