The Pup Stop

Were new to the area and needed to find a doggy daycare for our 9 month old Mini Aussie. Pup Stop is truly an incredible find. Our puppy loves the outdoor play area and you can tell by his joyful photos. He comes home happy and well exercised. Theyve also been so accommodating when weve needed last minute boarding due to renovations in our new home. Cant recommend Pup Stop enough, our go-to spot for sure.

Great experience for the dogs. Nice to be able to play both inside and out. Different toys and equipment for them to enjoy. Lots of dogs there to play with.

Not just for big dogs! Toby and Snickers LOVE the 1 on 1 attention they received while boarding at The Pup Stops Here! The entire staff is working out of LOVE and COMPASSION for animals of all sizes and shapes! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for Boarding and Daycare needs.

We used the boarding services at The Pup Stop. My dog stayed at The Pup Stop while we went on our 1st family vacation. It was the longest we ever had to board him. We loved being able to see pictures of him online while we were away. Very reasonably priced, and my dog came home happy and healthy. Definitely would recommend boarding your here.

I highly recommend the pup stop! They are reasonably priced and have a great facility for doggy daycare and boarding! My 2 dogs and brothers 2 dogs go and its a great outlet for the exercise our boys need while were at work. I also love the Facebook page with all the photos of the pups playing all day!

I was not able to board my dog at our new vet as we don’t board him a ton anymore and our last places closed. I had to frantically look for a place. I was told by a friend to call the Pup Stop! The owner spent 20 minutes on the phone explained her background and asked if I needed anything else to feelComfortable! What I loved and made us feel comfortable while away was seeing him in pictures the owner posted every night on FB as well as said we could text or call. We picked him up and you could tell he missed all his friends he was with for 7 days. Highly recommend and will use again. I liked that she does rescue so it made us feel that she really cares about dogs!

This is hands down the best doggy daycare/boarding facility in the Rochester area! My girls love going there and it really shows how experienced they are with dogs. I wouldnt trust anyone else. They go above and beyond and never disappoint! If I could give more then five stars I would! They are #1 in my book 😁

This was only a meet and greet for an upcoming stay.They were extremely pleasant, and everything was in order.The main thing Seve loved them both, which helped put me at ease.

This used to be the Pup Stops Here in North Gates. They moved out here.Weve been taking our dogs to puppy play group at this place for almost two years. The staff is friendly and sweet and our dogs LOVE it. We adopted one of our dogs from their affiliated rescue. They are absolutely the best and love dogs so much.

We absolutely love The Pup Stop! Reasonably priced, so much for the dogs to do out in there play yard, very knowledgable staff. My dog cant wait to go to daycare and is exhausted when he gets home. A win win!

We love the pup stop! They have an hourly rate if you want, which is great because I can bring the dogs by for just a couple of hours to tire them out. We have also used their boarding which was also great and a reasonable price. They also have a dog rescue.

I HIGHLY recommend them for daycare and/or boarding! They are absolutely awesome people who genuinely love animals and care for them as if they are their own. I just had to leave my dog with them for the week of the 4th of July and was a little nervous about fireworks, but someone was with the animals, played classical music through the speaker system, and put her calming animal scents oil on her. I hate to leave my furbaby but whenever I must, I know shes in THE BEST care!

Love this place and all the folks here. They dedicate themselves to all furbabies. I dont live in Rochester anymore but I make it a point to stop and see them when I visit. I highly recommend stopping in and taking one of the pups on an adventure or volunteer and get tons of unconditional love (and kisses)! 🐕

They take the extra time to personally care for your pup, and also help with any anxiety or issues they may have. You also benefit when you board, as they get the bonus of playing with other dogs, which you normally would not get in traditional boarding settings! They also accommodate spwcial diets or medications, at no added charge. Theu will even send you updates or video if you request it, to check up on ypu pal! My dog had a wonderful time while I was on vacation! He had a pretty sweet vacation of his own!

THE THEATRICAL RELEASE...We took our Australian Cattle Dog mix Nyx here yesterday, 7/24, for her first day of play and she absolutely loved it! The Facebook pics and updates were great, we like that better than a live video feed. When she got home she was wiped out and still is today. We havent seen her this lazy ever since we adopted her, usually she is bouncing off the walls! TPSH is the best thing in the world for our kids. We have another member of the pack going to go soon. Thanks everyone at TPSH for taking such great care of our baby girl!THE DIRECTORS CUT...So, this place is fantastic! They have a HUGE facility with tons of space for your dog to run and play plus lots of things for them to play with, on and in. Our dog Nyx had her first day there yesterday and she absolutely loved it. My husband and I are a foster family for a local dog rescue and Nyx was one of our foster kids. She is what we call a foster fail, she ended up joining our pack, yup we adopted her. She is an Australian Cattle Dog mix so she has tons of energy. We live in the 19th Ward so we dont have a lot of space for her to run around, being a ACD she needs it. A friend of ours told us about TPSH so we decided to try it out and we dont regret it at all.First of all their prices are AMAZING and the facility is FABULOUS! Most places will cost you what they charge for a full day for just half a day. The facility is huge with tons of play area. They offer baths as well, which can be a bonus because all dog parents know a playing dog is a dirty dog. The staff were wonderful and greeted me with a smile and a hello as soon as I walked in the door. They took the time to ask questions about our dog and how she reacts to other dogs, medical issues, special needs, etc. and explained to me the process of introduction to the other dogs as well as pricing. It made me feel really comfortable leaving our kid there. We have used other facilities like this in Rochester with our previous kids and never took them back. One reason was due to price and another they just didnt seem to care like they do here. Our dogs are our children and we treat them as we would any human child.We loved that they posted pictures of her on their Facebook page. Getting to see her running and playing with the other dogs was so awesome. To be able to have those memories forever is priceless to me and my husband. Last year we lost our precious Mikki, I had her since she was just three months old and Alex knew her for seven years. She passed at just under 18 years old, she had a great life. Then a year later we lost our eight year old Kaya. The only regret we have is that we dont have very many pictures of them. When we adopted Dozier a few months after Mikki passed we vowed not to let that happen again. So the pictures they provided us are going to be cherished memories of their life with us forever, thank you to the staff for that. Pictures are so much more precious that a quick glance from a video feed. There were so many great people that commented in the pictures too. Some we found out were relation to the friend that recommended TPSH to us, future play dates may be forthcoming.I digress now and back to the task at hand. If you are looking for a daycare facility for your furkid TPSH is the place you need to take them. Whether it is for a full day or just a couple hours, your dog will have the time of their life there. They have a huge place in their hearts for animals and show it with how they run their business. To me it doesnt seem just like a business, they make it feel like a second home for our kids. A home that they have the space to run and play, something we are unable to give them here. So for the few dollars that it may cost us, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY! They alsoThank you so much to everyone at TPSH for opening your home for our kids. The staff was friendly. It was obvious my pup had a great time and was treated well. This was my first time boarding and I can with confidence say that Frankie will be back.

I rescued my puppies from there and now they board there.. its like going back home for them.. sometimes they get to visit their siblings🐾🐾Everyone is friendly and the animals love being there!! Great place .

TerribleI took my dog only once and he came home with infection and bumps, I had to take him to vet and paid 500 dollars because he caught an infection on his paws from the place, for the bumps they looked more like human had hit him, and the doctors confirmed that he had been hit ,I couldnt understand why because my dog is the most friendly and calm he never attack other dogs or small animals he is super friendly with humans as well,so BIG NO TO PUP STOP BECAUSE THEY LOVE MONEY NOT DOGS AND TREATING THE DOGS AS AN OBJECTS

My dog loves this place. Playgroup every Saturday morning from 10 till noon for $12. Nicest staff in town.

They are wonderful with our dogs Buddy and Kirby. We love being able to see pictures on Facebook when we are away!

Awesome people who give one on one attention to the pups in their care. Dianne, Crista, and Dawn are extremely educated and well versed in dog and cat behavior and care.

When I called around asking for boarding quotes, these guys were the most professional and informative. The prices are good. Although Im not a HUGE animal person, I can clearly see this is the place to go if you want your dog to be taken good care of. They experimented with exposing my dog to different groups and it seems they found a happy place for my dog. Well done, The Pup Stop. OH, I never found a toy my dog liked, but they did.

Pricey but our dog comes home exhausted which means she is calm and more obedient without any food reward needed.

My dogs love going to the pup to play with their friends. When we go away, we board our fur kids there, and I wouldnt consider leaving them anywhere else.
