Reliable, Honest, Efficient, Friendly. I have been using Fidos Fences for 30+ years and they have always pleasantly surprised me with their integrity and professionalism. Everyone from the office to the field is knowledgeable and honestly genuinely wanting to help. When my landscapers accidentally break the wire its frustrating, but the service call is always easy to schedule and field teams are on time and the problem is quickly resolved. Beware. Every three months, you need to pop the battery out of the collar and replace it. However, the mechanism is poorly constructed and the battery gets stuck and cannot be popped out. When the battery can’t be popped out, Fido’s Fences considers the collar to be broken and the only option is to purchase a $300 new collar. I assumed they would stand by their defective product, but they do not. It has now happened to me twice in only a couple years. I think this is a disgusting money grab. They pretend that it is a user error, but I’ve brought the collar to the Syosset location and they can’t even pop the battery.

I recently used Fido’s Fence Company to install an invisible fence for my mini dachshund dog, and I was very impressed with their service. Chris and Jay were very knowledgeable about the system and had excellent customer service. I really liked the quality of the materials that were used for the fence, and it was installed very well. Overall, I would give Fido’s Fence Company 5 stars. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable pet fence solution.

Having this company install an invisible fence on my property was the best thing I could have ever done . They were professional and prompt and the person who did the training was very dog friendly and took there time explaining everything . We had a second puppy join our family and once again they were wonderful. The best thing I can say is that when I had a problem with the wires being cut by the Highway department not only were they there to fix them but 2 weeks later they were there again and because Christine ,the owner, listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied I will be a lifetime customer and will highly recommend them to everyone who wants to protect and ensure the safety for our most precious fur babies. I have been a client of fidos fences for over 25 years. I have two Rottweilers and the fence has been malfunctioning lately. In the past this company has always gone above and beyond to stand behind their product. However, today they told me they could not help me whatsoever and to come and look at the property they would need a credit card. I am disgusted by the way I was treated, considering how much money and loyalty over the years and referrals I have given them. Shouldn’t a company who has been in business as long as they have stand behind their product and ensure the safety of both the owners and the pets they claim to protect ?!? When I asked for the owner a woman claimed she was the owner, only to then back track and say “what difference does it make” this company only cares about profits and GOUGING their clients for as much money as possible. Customer service is a disgrace too. I guess they really take advantage of the phrase “people will do anything for their pets” including spending unnecessary money to fix their problematic and defective products.

We got ours installed a few months ago but it is constantly sounding the alarm that a wire has been cut / not working. We fixed it first 2-3x then just stopped calling (and needing to pay then each time) to fix. Seems whoever mapped it did it poorly where it’s in area always being cut. A lot of money spent for a poorly installed service.

I installed an invisible fence for my dog. They were right in time and installed it quickly. After a few weeks thery came again and trained my dog and came again to increase the level. Eventually they replaced the collar to a more powerful one. They did it without charging extra.Also, they answer very quick and communicate well. Overall I think they are great and I would recommend them

I used Fidos fences to install the invisible fence around my property earlier this year. They are a local company and I am delighted that I could support a local business. They are very responsible - gave me a good price during installation. Very efficient and prompt and punctual.Recently I had an issue with my dog and needed to add additional wiring - I contacted Todd, the representative that I had initially worked with when we signed on the contract - he was immediately responsive and arranged for the additional wiring to be attached at no cost. I am very impressed with the quality of service and responsiveness. Highly recommend!

Fido Fence was great!! We were so worried about our doggies after moving to suburbs. The invisible fence gives us peace of mind to know that they are protected. We have one more training session with Fido Fence. But so far, our two dogs are adjusting well. I highly recommend this company!

The company is fine, despite no showing once, and then being late to 2 appointments afterwards.However my dogs collar broke a year into it (the sensor part). We have a lifetime warranty, but had to pay $35 for a restocking fee. I get that the supplier of the product is different than the company, but were disappointed that their product broke by no fault of our own, yet we still have to pay even more money to replace.If it werent such an expensive product, it wouldnt be such a big deal but they say lifetime warranty and the product shouldnt just fall apart after a year.

I’ve had my Fido’s system for years, never an issue. Had Todd at the house today flagging out our wire line and acquainting our new pup (Riley) with the system. Was a pleasure as always. Todd took the time to re educate me on the workings of the collar such as how to check and adjust the stimulus settings. My experience with Fidos Fences has been outstanding. The sales rep met with us and reviewed our situation. He explained everything in detail at our house and gave us a solid idea of what to expect with the product and installation.The installer was also incredible. He did exactly what we needed for the install and explained everything. He was neat and placed the equipment and fence EXACTLY where we wanted. He also explained everything perfectly. The training effort was also on target.I am happy to say that everything went perfectly with every aspect of Fidos Fences. They are OUTSTANDING.

I inquired about a fence on Tuesday and had an appointment set for Friday. The rep, Todd, showed up early and immediately put me at ease by answering all my questions. No hard sell, just honest and knowledgeable which made me purchase the system during our consultation. A few days later the system was installed, works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Fido’s Fences to any dog owner, you will not be disappointed.

Our dog kept leaving the property and it felt dangerous. A quick search and it seemed like Fidos Fences would be the answer. I reached out and Todd was quick to arrive at our home. From there we spoke about different options, how to train our Australian Shepard/Poodle and the effectiveness of the invisible fence. Its been about three months and we cant be more pleased. We can open the garage, front door etc and our pup will wander outside, play, but not go near the property boundary. Installation was clean and simple. Completed in one day. Todd came back the next few weeks for training our puppy and we have not had one incident since then. Excellent Service! I used this company after seeing a promotional advertisement and was a little apprehensive at first because a lot of other companies were way more expensive , but I could not recommend a better company. They had excellent follow up, were extremely neat, very informational and took time to work with my dog before they left. My dog has stayed in the area, with only one break through as they warned he would and I increased the power as suggested which has resulted in total success. My dog was a car chaser and sprinter as soon as the door opened! I just wish I would have done this sooner!

Update....Just when I thought I couldn’t love this company any more...they step up to the plate IMMEDIATELY to get our fence repaired on a 3 day holiday weekend!! Despite the fact that I was a bit overwrought and a little less than patient on the phone, they were kind, patient and forgiving of my abrupt attitude. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to Christine, Allysa and John for being there for our family. Every pet parent should have this system and this company protecting there pets.Courteous, professional and knowledgeable!! This system amazes me! It was installed for our 6 month old, 50+ pound German Shepherd 3 weeks ago and has changed our lives, both humans and pet!! Thank you Todd and John for a smooth and speedy install. Installation person not very good. Left wire exposed in many sections and had to bury myself. The fence is great and worked well with my dog. With both installation and repair the review of their performance was filled out by them ????? Not sure that works for me

I have been a Fido Fence customer 30+yrs and today John came to My Home with 30+ yrs of overgrowth/ bugs and buried wires with a break “somewhere” he methodically worked and fixed what others gave up on. Instead of a $1200 rewiring bill he only ran 20 feet. Easily I could have been changed for a new wiring after 30 yrs but John was a Blessing in this heat and worked Magic. So just to update our experience with our Fido’s Fence, we have had this fence for about 2 1/2 years now, and have counted on it to keep our 105 pound German Shepherd in the confines of our yard. We have been without power to keep our fence active for four days now and have been in a panic that the dog will figure it out and leave the yard. His boundaries are so embedded in his brain, that he has not even attempted to leave this yard!! I cannot say enough about this system and how we are able to count on it. Im very pleased with this company. They were totally professional and their product works great! I can now rest easy my Wheaton terrier will not be able to jump or dig under the fence anymore. The device that was installed in the house has kept him away from my white rug and couch. I couldnt be happier

This is without question a company that does not stand behind what they advertise. They boast a 30 day FULL REFUND guarantee if your not completely satisfied. Well the outdoor containment system installed at my home was only in 1 day and I had it removed because of how hard it shocked (by their employee) my 80 pound Lab. After waiting several weeks they only agreed to refund 60%! I sent a screen shot copy (showing 100% refund) of their web page to my attorney and will have my day in court!Stay away from this company!

So far so good. Fence and collar works great. We lost our collar pretty early on and they were very reasonable with us in replacing it. More importantly my dog is safe.

With 4 large dogs our household could be loud and chaotic. There were no boundaries which lead to frustration. Unbelievably, after just 2 training sessions with Todd, it’s like living in a completely different home. His training is about what WE need to do in order to establish ourselves as the pack leader. Calm and orderly has replaced loud and chaotic. Amazing! I highly recommend their services - both training and invisible fence.

Extremely responsive and professional! Had a the wire clipped in a couple of spots when installing path lighting and they were here the next day to repair. Outstanding customer service!

Fidos Fences works great and has a small device on the collar. The alarm on the computer is not loud enough to be heard from the basement so I moved the computer with the alarm to the main floor of my house. I also have the Whistle GPS strapped on the same collar.

Fidos Fences provides great customer service and an excellent product! Christine in the office is an absolute doll, she is always so helpful with any questions or concerns we may have. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Horrible, unreliable system and terrible customer service. Our dog has gotten out of our yard and on main roads 8 times in the last 6 months because the system malfunctioned (with no indication that the transmitter wasnt working) and they could care less. And then wanted to charge us to fix their faulty system. Stay away!

My fence broke and within 3 hours Rich came over fixed our issues in under 30’mins. Very very pleased with this company. Nothing but excellent service
