K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Syosset

This is by far the best daycare/boarding place I have ever brought my dog too. After nervously searching 10 different place. K9 Resort was incredible. The whole place was spotless, they had an indoor and outdoor play area, and the staff was super involved in each group of dogs big or small. I have a 7 month golden retriever and she has a blast here. While I am on vacation or traveling I have such a peace of mind knowing she is here because of the amazing staff and how they supervise, care, and truly love these dogs. I will always say such wonderful things about this place! 100% recommend bringing your dog here. They also have facebook/ instagram pages where they post updates photos of all dogs!

This was our first time having our Mika a 1yr old pup try doggy daycare! We are amazed how kind and caring the staff is at K9 Resort in syosset and will absolutely be returning there. Mika is shy and they made sure he had a great time.

Took my 5 month old Aussiedoodle Sydney and she had a blast. She is very shy with other dogs at the dog park but was surprisingly very social at K9 Resort,even made 2 friends Sabi and Jax . I’ve had dogs my entire life, this was the first place I’ve trusted to take care of my puppy in daycare. The staff is phenomenal, extremely caring and professional. My puppy Jude absolutely loves it. I thought my dog loved me more than anything, but when she arrives at k9 resort in Syosset she is almost too excited to say goodbye! Heidi comes home happy, well cared for, clean and I am so happy for that!

We love K9 resorts!! Staff are super professional and friendly. They have gotten to know Lola very well. She cannot wait to go there. We cannot say “doggie day care” out loud unless we are headed there because we don’t want to disappoint her 😊.It is exceptional good value. The outdoor space is awesome. The extra offerings - like a bath!! - make everything easier. Honestly, I would be lost without K9 Resort - it is simply the best.

K9 Resorts was great to our frenchies while we were away! This is their second long term stay. They stayed 6 nights and we got photos everyday of them playing and having fun on their Facebook page. Happy to have them home, but they were taken very good care of during their stay.

I really cannot speak highly enough of the entire staff at K9 Resorts at Syosset. After having a terrible experience at another facility, I needed to find a reputable boarding facility for my dog. The owner, Glenn, took the time to speak with my on phone to hear about my last experience with day care, and he was very understanding and supportive, and assured me that if I ever wanted to have him evaluated again for day care that they’d be happy to, which I may do in the future. As for boarding, always excellent, my dog is excited and happy whenever we pull up and he comes home well cared for. During a family emergency, I needed to board him multiple times on short notice, even having to extend his stay, and the staff was always so caring, accommodating and attentive. I was grateful to know that my dog was safe and being cared for during that stressful time. Thank you!

I can’t thank the staff enough. My rescue Ziva was extremely nervous when I took her in for her evaluation (which is a free full day of daycare). They communicated with me throughout the day on how she was doing and they didnt give up on her. They were patience with her, spending 1 on 1 time with her until she opened up. We will most certainly be back. Thank you all!!

This was my first time ever having to board a pet. I was very anxious, plus it was a holiday so there was added pressure. I spoke with Glen who was very helpful and accommodating. When I arrived with my dog I asked for a tour. My dog received the facility and staff very well right away. I was impressed with how clean and organized the place was. I loved the open play areas and interaction with the other dogs. I was most impressed with the report card and picture I received. Took away any remaining anxiety. My dog loved the place and was not ready to leave when time for pick up!! I would absolutely recommend.

It’s a wonderful feeling knowing my family can enjoy vacation knowing our furry family member is being cared for! We have complete trust in K-9 Resorts!

My pups are usually very nervous around other dogs and people but they did well at their first day there, and I feel comfortable bringing them back again for future boarding!

This was my dog’s second stay at this facility during our family vacation. On this stay. he appears to have been anxious. Allison was extremely helpful and sympathetic in caring for him and kept me advised as needed. I would highly recommend this resort for their caring and professionalism.

The customer service is exceptional!. My dog loves to spend time with his buddies and always comes home tired from play I have confidence the staff always takes very good care of my dog. Frankly I think I’d like to board there LOL.

What an amazing place. My furbaby was delighted to make new friends and cannot wait to return. He loved being able to run outdoors in the sunshine. Everything is so clean. The staff is amazing and really love caring for your fur baby. I’m so glad my friend told me about K9 Resorts.

Zoey loves K9 resorts. The staff is excellent with everyone. Zoey gets very excited to see them and also cant wait to get to see her puppy friends. Zoey boarded for almost a week and came back completely crate trained. She also learned to love peanut butter on peanut butter day. Im so happy with her care. I wonder what she will learn next. One last comment is that the owner and staff will work with special circumstances. K9 is a stress free experience.Its been about 7 months since my last review. K9 continues to make my Zoey very happy. The staff gives her lots love and pets. Im very happy to know Zoey is taken care of during my vacations. Im encouraged to call anytime to get reports about her daily activities.Ive already scheduled Zoeys 2 week stays at K-9. I have so much confidence in the care and support that Zoey receives. Recently Megan and Lexi took me to see the facilities again. They have gone out of their way to ensure a positive and fun visit. Timothy and Brittany always make the plans smooth, too. Everything is clean and spacious. Zoey loves the play area and plays well with the other small puppies. Megan takes fantastic pictures during play. I scan them every time I leave Zoey. One other note. Feeding Zoey is a challenge. Finally, finding the right recipe and leaving the food at K-9 has made leaving her, so much easier.

K9 is amazing wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else. I drive from Suffolk to bring them there. They always have the best time , so well cared for from the entire staff. I highly recommend this business

Very friendly environment, the staff was very nice, called promptly with any questions. My dog was well cared for from what I experienced. The facilities are clean and updated, and the best part is the dogs are allowed to go outside with supervision. Would definitely go back. Thank you K9 resorts for your services.

What a wonderful place this is. I no longer feel guilty about going away and leaving my dog at a kennel. Like the name says this is more like a resort for dogs.

Awesome experience as always. When your pup is all excited to be there and comes back home fresh and relaxed… you know they had a good time there.I love K9 for my Golden, but they are a little expensive.

We have really been pleased with the services received from K9 Resorts in Syosset. We have boarded our 80lb German Shepherd a handful of times and we can tell he is very well taken care of. I love that we dont have to worry about packing his food because he eats the same food they provide and he always comes home with a fresh bath and smelling good. The customer service is always warm and friendly and that makes booking a new reservation easier for us. This is definitely our go to when we have a weekend trip or vacation planned.

We have been extremely pleased with k9 syosset. More importantly, our dog Chessie has loved being there. She has fun, interacts and we love to see the pictures of her so happy. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby.

We looked for a place to send our puppy 6 months ago and I was so nervous about sending him and not knowing what was going on. Now our puppy has been going at least once a week ever since and its our favorite place to send him! He loves it so much there that he gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot. The facility is immaculate and the staff is always super nice and accommodating. You can tell they absolutely love their jobs and all the dogs. They always keep us aware of what is happening at daycare and I love the daily photos. We 100% recommend K9 Resorts of Syosset!!!

Tried K9 doggie daycare in Syosset for the first time and we loved it! Professional and courteous staff. Clean facility and our pup enjoyed it! Have already set up boarding.

Best doggie day care in Long Island! My pup is crazy excited every time I take him there. He starts whining long before I pull in because he can tell where we’re going and drags me in, can’t get in fast enough. I take him twice a week for the exercise and socialization. They have bathed him, and I boarded him for a week over the holidays - and he still loves it. Oh - it’s super clean too - doesn’t smell like a kennel like other places I toured before choosing this one. Staff is great, and you can opt for a treat for your dog if you want.

My dog is 3, he is a semi pro boarder. We loved our former place but some changes made us look further for a place that would give us the same level of comfort I was wanting.K-9 resorts has exceeded my expectations. Phoenix is always cared for and happy and they are clean and every person working there has been better than I could expect. We won’t go anywhere else now. He loves going to “play with the dogs”. We love that he’s safe and cared for ♥️

My 4 year old Rottie Axel loves coming to K9 Resorts Syosset for both daycare and boarding. Excellent staff, great with the dogs they care for as well as their owners. Facilities are very sanitary and well maintained. Highly recommend to anyone who loves their dog!

We always have a great experience with K9! My Doberman goes there for camp and we just had our first boarding experience ! If I could give 10 stars I would their communication is great and they took great care of our girl! Just to add she also eats raw diet and there is no issues with feeding!

The best decision we did was bring our puppy to daycare at K9! She gets so excited to go and play with her friends. The staff is so welcoming and love your little furbaby as if they were their own! We couldn’t be happier!

Found this place not that long ago. My dogs have done daycare and boarding so far!! My pups seem very happy after each visit! My separation issue pup is running for the front door once she is out of the car just to get in there for her fun. She loves it! Friendly staff and the place is very clean! Cute activities for the dogs in daycare too.

I found this amazing “resort“ for our dog through a neighbor who has been there. It was nothing short of amazing. The care, love, and attentiveness that Wishon to our five-month. Old puppy was nothing short of amazing. I dropped her off after emailing her medical vaccination records for an evaluation to see how she would do. After successfully completing the evaluation, I left her there for the play date, and she had a ball! She made friends, and was socialized under the supervision of the K9 staff. She had a great time, and I felt very relieved to know that I had a caring, supervised place for her to have fun in without worry. I hardly recommend canine resorts of Syosset.

Clean, friendly staff and a great facility. After my older dog passed i was looking for a place for my other dog to play. They have great options as well as boarding. Happy dog happy day!

Absolutely the best boarding experience by far. My 3 dogs spent 8 days there. I was able to view dozens of photos of them daily playing in the day care. My Frenchie is very shy & anti social. We were blow away by the pictures of her playing with all the dogs! All of my dogs came home relaxed and smelling fresh & clean. One of my dogs developed a skin irritation on her belly (skin allergies). I received a detailed voice mail describing the irritation including the time it was first discovered. She was immediately given a medicated bath. Photos of her belly were sent to me via email along with step by step descriptions of how she would be cared for. They offered to bring her to my Vet. I had my Vet prescribe a spray for her skin. The staff at K-9 Resorts applied the spray several times a day. They were on top of everything! Each staff member knew the personalities & health issues of my dogs. The facility was beyond immaculate. The knowledge & professionalism of the staff is greatly appreciated. Thank you to Allison & the staff at K-9 Resorts for giving me peace of mind while leaving my dogs in their care.

Have to admit the K9 dog spa was a very pleasant experience for me and my sky ! I have walked away from many places just by the looks of them ! But from the beginning of drop off to pick , I must admit it made a great impression on me! I was able to leave my Sky for the first night away from me ! And have faith that he would be well taken care of until my return !!! Thanks to them I was able to enjoy my granddaughter’s wedding!!!👍👍

The resort is immaculate. We really were impressed with their care and concern for each pet. The staff is friendly and professional and eager to answer all questions. We definitely feel at ease leaving our pet in their care.

K9 Resorts in Syosset is simply the best!!! The manager and staff are so kind, patient, and truly make you and your pets their priority! My dogs had a fantastic time during their first trial at daycare! We even got a report card to let us know how they did! You can tell that the staff is truly passionate about animals!! We have had such a wonderful experience at K9 in syosset. The staff is so friendly and very welcoming of our dog, Hunter. They always keep us in the loop and share photos of him. He has done the full day daycare and the boarding and it has been a great experience! Lacey and Erin are some of our favorite staff members but they are ALL great!

This is an amazing place. I never trusted anyone or any place with any of my dogs. The people here are amazing. Tim treats pucci as if he’s his own. I couldn’t ask for more. He carries him out and pucci loves him so much. Pucci will actually sit for him and give Tim a thank you lick. 🐾 Every one is super. They bathe him on occasion, thank you . My golden boy Buddy had his first day in group doggie daycare ! I’ve had some marginal experiences in the past with other animal boarding facilities. I did not feel that way with K9. The greeting was polite and positive. The lobby was clean and the staff was professional. All things that we didn’t always get in other places. My pup was a little achey when she got home as she’s an older dog and it seems like she got a little more exercise then she’s used to but the overall experience was good.

I was very nervous about sending my dog Benny to daycare since he was a rescue, and is often anxious. All I can say is K9 is absolutely WONDERFUL!! They were so sweet, caring and communicative! He had so much fun in their small group play area. I’m so thankful and relieved my husband and I have found a place that will take such great care of him while we’re out and about!Special shout-out to Christina, Sam, and Lacey!!

We had a great experience with the new Syosset location. The staff was friendly and attentive, they were great with sharing photos so we can see how our dogs were doing. They gave us peace of mind while we were on vacation.

After trying out daycare at K9, my dog was happy to go back. He was boarded for few nights and came home clean and smelling great. This is definitely our new go to place to leave our dog when we need to go away.

Have been impressed so far with the level of care and attentiveness provided by all of the members of Syosset k9 Resorts. While the prices are certainly higher than your average boarding/day care facility, the cleanliness and service here seems to warrant it. And our 2 pups always come home happy!

Birdie is my 2 year old mini Golden retriever and had the best time at the daycare evaluation !the facility is beautiful and very clean! it’s indoor play and outdoor play areas are very large and the staff is friendly and gives the dogs so much attention! Birdie willbe boarded at the end of May and l am feeling very good about leaving her!

I’m so glad K9 resorts opened up this convenient location! They are truly a first class facility and my Frenchie gets very excited to attend their daycare program. The staff is professional and responsive. I would not send my pup anywhere else!

Wont take my dog here again. Representative messed up my reservation and didnt even apologize and held accountable for their mistake. I asked them to let me hear conversation since they record conversations and they wont do it. Not professional at all. Now thanks to them, my dog is left with no reservation.

We made a reservation when we got there. They said we didn’t give a deposit, which I never asked for and then the dog was given a lesser room that was promised. Then when it came to billing they billed for services that were neitherask for or givenWhen calling them they argued over issue the credit. After promising to protest the charge with American Express they finally bill the correct amount but then did not issue the credit after calling and being put on hold for five minutes they probably said the credit will go throw but it takes time. This appears to me to be a cash grab business that is using other peoples money to fund their business. As I’ve said in other reviews they’re capable of picking up dog poop but they are clearly not capable of running a proper business. If they can’t run the business that people see you can only imagine What they’re capable of doing or making mistakes to your dog when you’re not there after all, he’s not going to tell you. Stay away. Dogs do not know to tell you, but when you bring them back, their tail will not be happy..

My dog used to cry the second we pulled into his old daycare. When we pull up to K9 he cannot run in fast enough! The staff is super friendly and the place is VERY clean. He comes back exhausted. We love K9!!

Sent my puppy Ivy for her eval and the staff was so warm and welcoming. they provided updates during the day when I called. Their Instagram showed my pup having so much fun during the day. She came out so happy and tired. So glad I found a spot to bring my puppy while I’m at work.

We use the daycare regularly and sometimes over night stay, nothing but great experiences every time. It’s easy to book to make changes, staff is top tier and so sweet. We know if our dog is at K9, he’s having fun.We think K9 has helped a lot with socialization and is more fun for our dog than just hiring a sitter to come to our house. We’re really grateful for all of the staff who make it so perfect. They even took special pictures of our dog when we boarded him for our wedding and his birthday. Sometimes they do “crafts” (ornament with his picture, special printed pictures) and it’s just a nice little extra touch. We love K9 Syosset!

Very clean open facilities. You can see the mostly glass rooms your pets stay in. Pets were calm, not depressed or isolated. If you are boarding more than one, you can board together. Staff was attentive and very helpful.

Wonderful and Exceptional place for any type of dog, Milo is a Maltese and is a bit anxious but he did so well there. Beautiful, clean and safe facility… Its a high class pet resort for a great price with so many amenities to make your fur baby comfortable. The best part is the staff, welcoming, professional and caring.. they send you a progress report with photos and update on how your pet did the first time they visit.. Milo will be a regular at K9 Syosset, so glad we found them..

Used K-9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel for dog day care.Excellent experience, lovely facility, friendly & efficient staff. They called during the day with an update & sent photos of my pup playing, along with her report card.I will use them again when I need dog boarding or day care in this area.

First off, the place is beautiful. As soon as you walk in the door you think you’re in a luxury hotel. The staff are wonderful and take very good care of the dogs. My dog has diet issues and medications and they take great care of him. He participates in doggie day care when he is being boarded. I will continue to board my dog with them when we travel.

I was going on vacation and needed a place to board my 6 month old golden retriever and I stumbled upon k9 resorts on yelp. I gave them a call and they were so welcoming and made the process super easy. My puppy had the best week with them and they updated me with pictures showing me how much fun he was having. I’ve even started taking him to daycare here regularly and can’t praise them enough! Don’t hesitate bring your pup here, they are going to be in great hands!

Im a first time dog owner and was apprehensive about leaving my 8 month old Shihpoo for day care. Zoey has had 5 days at K9 and has adapted really well. As soon as we step into the front door, her tail spins around like a helicopter. She gets alot of attention from the staff members and she loves it. She also loves playing with the other small puppies.They even sent me pictures for reassurance. Christina the general manager is a wealth of information. She has answered my many questions, always giving me the reassurance that I need.Seeing Zoey happy and cared for is a wonderful feeling. I know that I can give her a great day filled with her furry friends. Highly recommended.

The staff here is wonderful and so accommodating. My dogs are so excited to spend time at the resort and I can rest easy knowing they are in such good hands. My dogs are treated so well, like members of a family.

We’ve been using K9 resorts daycare in Syosset for a few weeks. It has been very convenient parking in front and dropping my dog off on the way to work. There is always someone friendly at the front desk to greet you and your dog and take them from you! My dog goes willingly in the door and comes out smiling at the end of the day! A member of the resort is always available to answer any questions and to update you on your dog’s day: Today was an extra bonus day when they posted beautiful Valentine’s Day photos on their Instagram and Facebook pages and sent us home with a framed picture of our puppy. So far it’s been a great experience for our pup and our family!
