Dogworks Kennel

The team at Dogworks treats our dogs as if they were their own.For training, Edward and Jody have trained our pointer to be an exceptional and obedient hunter, and have helped us in understanding how to handle the dogs at home and in the field. Our pointer has made incredible progress because of them.For boarding, the dogs always come home well rested and I know that they have plenty of exercise, care and attention while they are at Dogworks.Your dog will be in great hands at Dogworks.Highly recommended!

Jody and Edward are wonderful! Jody helped us with training our overly excited puppy to help make him such an awesome part of our family. Gander now goes to daycare there, and when he comes home he is always well exercised and happy. We love knowing that Gander is so well cared for while we work or vacation.

We got a German shorthair pointer (GSP) in June 2020. We had our hands full and I didn’t think it possible to have this energetic dog become part of our family. Through word of mouth, we heard about Dogworks. They helped us train our dog to become a gentleman’s dog - Bird hunting dog for my husband and family dog in our home. I didn’t think it was possible and I learned so much from Jody and Edward. We also got our second dog, a black lab, from them. She has an amazing temperament and is the perfect friend for our GSP. We also love Dogworks daycare/daytrain programs and we always board our dogs with them when we are out of town because we know our pups get the exercise and all the TLC they need!

Dogworks is an extension of our family. The level of care and love given can only be described as such. We have been using dogworks for boarding, training, and day care for several years and can not say enough good things about the facility, staff and owners. The level of professionalism and attention to specific pet needs are unmatched.Thank you Dogworks

BEWARE! If I could give 0 stars I would. the actual care for my pet was amazing, however, it took 23 days for them to invoice me even after contacting them to ask about why I hadnt received a bill. The invoice was finally received at 10:47a yesterday and included an erroneous charge for daycare services that were not provided. The charge was removed once I reported it. I planned to pay the invoice today when making out my other bills. At around 8:50p last night (approximately 10 hours after the initial invoice was received) I was sent a text and told a $50 late fee was going to be added for non-payment. When I responded that I’d only gotten the invoice earlier in the day, the response was pay your bill, when I responded again, their response was pay your bill. They had other priorities for 23 days, and I wasn’t even afforded the same grace I gave them. Their failure to properly communicate and invoice me timely, is not on me. I will never use their services again after the way I was treated and spoken to.

Loki, our 11 month old Akita, eagerly looks forward to his next visit with Jody and her amazing team!Jody is the resource for dogs...we are blessed to have her in our community.There is no one I would trust with the care of our beloved fur baby more than her.

Sage loves going to daycare at DogWorks Kennel. Great outdoor walks on trails, cozy kennels, and caring owners and staff. So grateful to have them!
