Companion Dog Obedience Services

I have brought my standard poodle Cocoa to Glenna since I first got her at 12 weeks old. She’s now 8 months old and excelling in intermediate class, she is well behaved, knows how to heel, sit, lay down, stay, and much more. She has even received her Canine Good Citizen. I have really enjoyed working with Glenna and her other trainers, and Cocoa loves going to class too. I plan to continue to work with her so Cocoa can become a certified therapy dog in the future. I highly recommend Companion Dog for anyone who wants to learn how to train their puppy or dog, and also learn other fun things they can do with their dog like rally and obedience.

I started basic obedience in May 2023. My pup was 9 months old. Many times I thought “this isn’t working.” It wasn’t the class, it was me. I was so stressed because he wasn’t doing what he was supposed to do. Glenna said “relax and have fun.” She was right. It was like a light bulb came on and we both started enjoying the class.Fast forward to May 2024. We are still taking classes. Moved on to intermediate/rally. He has gotten his CGC and we’ll be doing our first rally competition in a couple of weeks.Glenna shows kindness and CALM. She demonstrates the tasks we are working on and my little guy just loves taking his classes. I would highly recommend Companion Dog. I had taken classes with Glenna about 15 years ago with my previous dogs. That is a testament to how confident I am in her ability as a trainer.

Amazing trainer who provides excellent instruction and insight into how to work with your dog and how to manage unwanted behavior in dogs. Its all about communicating with your dog in a positive manner and reinforcing the good habits. Highly recommend!

Glenna is an amazing instructor so are her team as well. Theyre considerate and patient with puppies. Ive learn lots from their personal and wise teachings. I highly recommend their classes to anyone who has a dog.

Trainers are very knowledgeable and spend time with those who are struggling. Their techniques are in the best interests of dogs.I wish I went here with my first dog. They really helped me with major behavioral problems with my dog. My neighbors are amazed at how better behaved my puppy is on walks. She no longer tries to attack cars. We are currently working on her behavior with behavior with other dogs. I no longer dread taking her for a walk. Shelby really loves the trainers.

Were three weeks into beginner classes and having a good learning a lot. The pup has a long way to go, but she loves going to school.

Glenna is not all about the $. The proof is in the price. Go ahead, shop around. She is the cheapest. She genuinely cares about you and your dog, as well as the rest of the family who live with your dog. She is incredibly inciteful. She understands dog, and human behavior. While she has been open during Covid, social distancing, and other safety measures were put into place, and followed. The new facility is beautiful! I have trained with her for many years.

Trainer and her helper insist on cheese as a treat. My dog goes nuts and cant follow commands when cheese is involved. He also begs relentlessly- we put him in his kennel out in the garage when we have any kind of food.

Training is very personalized and high quality! I highly recommend Glenna for all classes from puppy to advanced.
