Town of Hempstead Dog Park

The park was clean, safe and dog friendly. The dog parents were friendly, welcoming and respectful of each dogs space. The parents were cleaning up behind their fur babies.Great socializing for all.

We took our 2yr old Rottweiler here for the first time tonight and had a great experience. Everyone was very welcoming and all the dogs got along great. It was clean and they had fresh water spickets available to fill your dogs bowl. There was plenty of seating as well. Were definitely coming back.

We love this park! Wish we found it sooner.The park has separate small and large dog areas, with a chain-link fence around the perimeter of the canine facility. The grounds are comprised of a paw-friendly synthetic turf surface (no worries about mud!!) and include ramps, weave poles, hurdles, and other fun amenities. The park also has picnic tables, benches, shaded areas, and water fountains for both people and dogs. Theres also poop bags, small fetch toys and water bowls in case you forgot to bring your own. Perfect neat little park. Our pup had a blast making new friends. ❤🐶🥰Hours are 8 am to dusk daily.

I was with my great-niece and great-nephew fur babies. They had a blast! Separate areas for dogs over 21lbs and those under 21 lbs. Very clean, lots of water, baby pools, tennis balls, DOGS!And very nice fur moms and dads. Plenty of benches and covered areas for the humans to hang out.

Crowd and dogs are friendly. Place was clean but didnt smell great. There is turf which seems to be a benefit (not muddy) and a drawback (smelled like a petting zoo).

First dog park Ive been to with kiddie pools to cool them down 🙂. The small dog side was kinda cliqu-ish, but the big dog side was great. Both are clean, artificial turf. Plenty of parking.

Very nice dog park at the end of Newbridge Road in Bellmore. There are two separate parks. One for small dogs (under 20 pounds) and one for large dogs (over 20 pounds). There is plenty of parking available right outside the gates. Its a very basic park though. Just open space to run around in. There are no obstacles or things for dogs to jump on or over.

Best around. Everyone cleans after their dogs, mostly without being reminded. Dogs love it and good people for the owners too.

Love this Dog park. The park is flat and has 2 fenced areas for larger and smaller dogs but its your choice.Great for my GiGi to run.Everyone I met was very kind.

Great dog park.

Well kept dog park with a section for small dogs and another for larger dogs. Hose, bowls and kiddie pool keep the four legged BFFs cool. Bathrooms for humans available a small walk away by the ice rink.
