Love this place. I have GSD which I understand is not easiest dog breed. Other groomers said they couldn’t handle him or would charge so much to do him. They charge such a reasonable amount and they say he is no problem at all to groom. He is also dog aggressive but he walks right in there and doesn’t even bark at the other dogs which is probably because all the other dogs are calm and therefore makes him calm. So glad I found this place. If you are told you have a “problem” dog please check this place out they are amazing. Also first time I dropped him off I told the owner others groomers said they have to muzzle for the dryer the owner said we will see about that. In my mind I was like good luck . Turns out they don’t need the muzzle. Anyway this place is great and very reasonably priced! Thanks for taking such great care of Kodi! Customer for life

My dog has a clear preference for the Dirty Dawg - it’s wild to see her be so calm and comfortable entering this groomer.For other establishments, she would start shaking and hiding in the car as soon as we entered the parking lot and certainly when I “handed” her over. The groomers at the Dirty Dawg are like dog whisperers, really setting the tone for all the dogs to have a good experience. Because all the dogs are calmer while at the Dirty Dawg, my dog gets a great haircut and has never come home with any cuts or injuries, just a fantastic, professional haircut! also like that the drop off is during a window of time and gives me some flexibility to work it into my schedule. They ask you for feedback after your dog is groomed and make notes on your card for any adjustments you would like the next time. I find the owner and groomers to be very down to earth and easy to deal, which I doubt is easy when you are dealing with so many different dogs/owners/preferences/personalities. One time there was a discrepancy with the date of my appointment and when I showed up I wasnt in their book for that day. They made sure to take my dog anyway which was great. The price is far more economical than other places I’ve tried and I usually give a larger % tip for this reason and still come out saving $15-$20 per visit compared to other localgroomers I’ve used. Parking is easy as is pickup and drop off.

This place is great ! Mother & Daughter owned! It is a small place that I have found to be better than bigger grooming places , because Debby Senior and Debby Junior ( mother & daughter) are so down to earth they made me feel comfortable the day I met them and like if my puppers ( Bear ) and I were already part of the family! Bear would always come back shaking for a long while after being picked up from other places and would take about a day to be back to his normal behavior. With Deb and Deb and their sweet staff , from day one he was happy and did not act any different .They really take pride in what they do and are not out to scam anyone out of their money! I love these wonderful ladies! They truly are amazing! It’s hard to find people like them anymore anywhere you go! I would recommend them to anyone looking a dog groomer! The amazing people at Dirty Dawg will give your dog the best shampoo and cut out there. Ive been using them for 12+ years on my little mutt that didnt really have a style. My daughter brought home this cockapoo and look at the beautiful before and how proud she looks after her cur.Cant recommend them enough. They are kind, know dogs well, treat them with care like theyre their own.

Muffins & I love Dirty Dawg! As a first time dog owner, we tried several other groomers in the area before coming here - now we dont go anywhere else. When I drop her off everyone is genuinely excited to see my girl, and since day one Debbie has been so caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. The crew always takes such good care of us, I cant recommend Dirty Dawg enough!

I can’t say better things about this place! I have a small 20lbs dog (Axel) that HATES to get groomed, I took him to multiple places and no one could groom him because he was “too aggressive”, the wonderful humans at the Dirty Dawg took him in and were able to groom him! I couldn’t be happier! He seemed right at home and they took excellent care of him. So happy I found this place! Will definitely continue to come back. HIGHLY recommended!

Our girl got groomed at Dirty Dawg for the first time and came back looking beautiful! It had been a few months since she was last washed and brushed out due to her having surgery and because she refuses to be brushed at home, so she was definitely a dirty dog. She came back so soft and clean and to top it off she did not want to leave!! So happy to have found such a wonderful groomer! We will certainly be regulars now!

This was my bernedoodles first grooming, and I was nervous he would look different, lol! Debi did a fantastic job making sure he was more comfortable but at the same time still looked like himself. Im so happy with the outcome.ETA: 11 months later and we are still very happy with the Dirty Dawg. My pup comes out with his fresh cut, ears cleaned, teeth shining, nails clipped and not sharp and overall looking and feeling great!

It is really hard to find a good groomer that cares about your dogs, my now passed away shih tzu Debo was treated like family every time he went and he was excited to go to the groomer. I knew he was in good hands. I’ve had a hard time finding a good groomer for my husky, and I wish I wasn’t so far so I could take her here.

Absolutely amazing!!! After having a bad experience at a different groomer which left my puppy scared of anyone touching him, I was nervous about getting him groomed again. After talking to Donna when I dropped him off, I felt relieved knowing he was in good hands. Debbie, the groomer, was able to cut all of his nails and give an amazing cut with out any issues and even got kisses from my pup through the whole process! My puppy was even trying to go back into the grooming area when I picked him up. Everyone is beyond friendly, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely loves the dogs!! Definitely going back and will not go to anyone else!

I have never left a review for a business in my life. Terrible experience, the owner was very rude and unprofessional. She was belittling and spoke in an unprofessional manner. The store looks very unkept and frankly dirty and the owner went on and on about my 8 month old puppy looking unkept. News flash: we were there to have him groomed! After her long spiel she said it’s usually $65 but is charging $88 because of the issues she had. Not a friendly place and looks unsanitary. Horrible customer service

The only groomer I’ve been to that truly cares about the dogs and not the money. They groom my restless and crazy 10 month old sheepadoodle who is a lottt to handle. He comes out great every time and they’ve taught me a lot about grooming too, as far as what tolls to use and how to avoid matts.

I cant believe this little hole in the wall had dozens of dogs. The onwer_blondish hair- is a no monkey business gal. She could have been a vet since her years were obvious. She didnt change the prices as I had expected. The crew is knowledgeable and a fair price because of her opio ion, which i valued. I did feel that signing contract left me a little upset. They are good hearted. They TOO strongly suggest seeing a vet. A vet would be my months rent.. do I have to spend this Money? Over the counter works too. Its like forced llawn care. Giving a chunk of your salary to support people who never gave a dime to the system. Backs are being broken with asking Joe smo to give more and more. Change standards for lawn. Maybe braid long grass. I dont know but something should be done. Yes that place cares a little to much for your pet. But I would go back.

Dirty Dawg in bellmore has been taking great care of my pitbull Maggie for years now. The staff really loves animals. Scheduling, drop off, and pick up are all a breeze here. The owner Debbie has a take charge personality, and she runs a tight ship. I would definitely recommend Dirty Dawg in Bellmore!

They do a wonderful job on both my ShihTzu and my St. Bernard and neither are easy to deal with. They are very patient and do a great work!

I love the great care my dogs get when they go here. It really is a spa day for my pups who come home happy, clean and smelling great.
