Diamond in The Ruff Dog Training

After talking to multiple trainers prior to contacting Robert we never looked back. Robert came the same day for a free in home consultation and we right away knew to sign up with Robert. We started off with in home puppy classes later enrolled our puppy in his board and train program. We are thrilled with results and he is so nice that he gave us an extra follow up lesson post board and train. There are many trainers out there but Robert hands down is the best. He’s our Kobe’s uncle Robert and will be staying with him whenever we’re won’t of town. Robert truly loves and cares dogs in general which we can tell with Kobe’s reaction whenever he sees Robert. Pick Robert and you will not regret!!!

We never thought we would be able to walk our 8 year old german shepherd Mike. He pulled and is so strong, we gave up. Now we walk him with ease and no fear he is going to overpower us. We are so happy with Roberts training and guidance . You can’t go wrong with him as a trainer he really cares and helps explain things instead of just telling you and having you figure it out. Look no further! He also took our 4month old pup for his board and train program and with his guidance we see such a difference in the stubborn puppy he was when we first got him. I can’t recommend uncle Robert enough !!!!!!!!! I’m so fortunate I found him, as a new dog mom and just mom in general super busy household I didn’t realize what it takes to have and train a puppy we started off a roughy start. Robert took her u see his wings he actually kept her 2 additional weeks simply because he is intimated to his clients and their lifestyle , he really just wanted it to work. We finally have Pedro back and she is doing fantastic not one accident she’s been home for a week now , before anywhere was fair game. She also folllows and listens to commands. Sometimes the stars align! We were in the transition of moving out of our house for renovations and looking for a “finishing school” for our 4 year old mixed small breed.Robert listened to all our concerns and involved our whole family. Robert was amazing with our dog. He transformed our long-haired chihuahua (Glory) from a couch potato to an energetic walker! When we began with Robert, Glory refused to walk and would just lie down and gaze defiantly at us. She now enjoys daily walks in the park. Robert also taught her to sit in the first lesson, something she had seemed unable to learn, but he understood that she was just being stubborn!Thank you, Robert!

Robert came highly recommended from a friend and when we had an issue with our dog he made it a point to come the same day I reached out.I was so worried I might have to re-home my dog because he was so anxious with my baby, but Robert assured me I wouldn’t have to make that choice. He worked with my husband and myself to make sure we were solid with the training and also catered the training to our needs (walking with a stroller).

WARNING – Do not use Diamond in The Ruff Dog Training under any circumstances. The owner, Robert clearly has good techniques for training dogs. He works well with the dogs and gets them to listen to his commands using a variety of techniques. But, to quote him, you need to train the owner as well for the techniques to work and he has terrible people skills.As promised, Robert came to our house for 4 weeks to train our puppy using food as a motivation. It worked somewhat well but admittedly, we have a stubborn pup (adorable though). He recommended the dog go to Board and Train to complete the training. We agreed and it took an extra week for the dog to master training collar techniques.During the home training Robert was a bit rude to me but I was able to overlook it in the hope both the puppy and I could learn from the experience. When he returned the dog from Board and Train he made it clear he only wanted to work with my husband who was recovering from surgery. I mentioned that we both lived with the dog so that was important for us both to learn. He continued to talk down to me, insult me and belittle me when I asked a question or did not master the technique of using the training collar on the second 10 second try. I asked him not to talk rudely to me and he said that I haven’t seen rude yet. Robert then left and said he would be back to work with my husband in two weeks. We needed to learn the commands used the day the dog was dropped off. DOG TRAINING IS A DOG AND PEOPLE BUSINESS!!!

Me and my boyfriend got a 2 month old puppy (She is now 5 months old) we had no idea what it would be like to raise a puppy, because we have never done it before! So with that there came lots of struggles.. Our puppy would nip at us, our furniture and other household items. She would bark and growl at us and would not stay in her crate unless we were sitting right next to it. She would raise havoc if needed to be watched by another family member while we went to work and we just didn’t know what to do. We tried petco training and watched lots of YouTube videos but it wasn’t working for our pup. We soon became frustrated and felt helpless. That’s until we discovered Rob and his training with diamond in the Ruff. He was so educated about dogs and different training techniques. We did the 3 week board and train and all i can say is WOW! My dog’s behavior is night and day. Rob dropped the puppy off and gave me and my family an hour training lesson on everything he had taught her in those weeks of having her. We are just so grateful to Rob for giving us back a calm, loving, independent, and very well behaved puppy. If ever in doubt give Rob a try. We are forever grateful 10/10 experience! Best dog trainer around! Robert was willing to help us with our dog that had aggressive behaviors toward other dogs and protective behaviors toward humans. I am now able to go out with my two dogs alone, which I was not able to do before this training. Thank you Robert!

What can we say about uncle Robert. Our girl Sandy, 4 month oldBernedoodle pup, just loves him.His puppy program has taught her the commands quickly and easily.Thanks to Robert, the puppy experience has made our experience so much more pleasurable. Other family members have used Roberts services in the past with great success. Robert is professional and loves dogs, treating them as his own. We can’t say enough good things about Robert from Diamonds in the Ruff Dog Training . He was highly recommended from a friend . We have a 7 year old wheaten Terrier and a 1 1/2 hear old blue heeler . Rob’s training program was highly successful . Rob goes above and beyond for his clients . He is patient , caring, and passionate . It is evident that he loves what he does and he is amazing at it . He is always available to answer any and all questions whether it takes 10 minutes or 2 hours . Rob has a great attitude and is extremely knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone who needs dog training.

We worked with Robert to train our rescue pup, Chip. We completed both the puppy and adult training courses. Chip has become a completely manageable puppy. Robert was an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s extremely knowledgeable, willing to answer any questions, and made our training sessions enjoyable. We looked forward to our weekly lessons with Robert and it was amazing to see the progress each week in Chip. I would highly recommend Diamond in the Ruff to anyone looking to help their pup get the most out of life.

We called Robert because we were having problems with a pup that was aggressive. After his evaluation we all decided to just train all three pups at the same time. Robert was great. He took the time to make me understand the technique. Now thanks to Robert my house is a lot calmer and the aggressive pup is no longer aggressive. All thanks to Robert

There are not enough positive things for me to say about Rob. He’s Uncle Rob in our house. We started our Amstaff puppy, Maverick, with puppy training when he was 3 months old. We then furthered his training with the board and train program. Rob has been a constant support and go to with every step of our training and just the process of having a puppy that is part of the bully breed. He is a great resource for any dog questions. There has been a significant change with the training given our dog’s breed and temperament. We couldn’t be more satisfied and would do it all over again the same way, if we had to. Without Rob’s help or training, I don’t know if we would have the same loving, friendly and behaved dog that we have today. Any person that is looking to do any dog training. This is your guy. He has came and followed up on multiple visits even after training was finished and he also offers boarding if your dog completed one of his programs.

We are so grateful that we decided to have Robert work with our dog Isaac. Isaac will be five in December and he has always been extremely difficult to manage. Prior to meeting Robert, Isaac had went after our mail carrier and a construction worker in our home. In addition to this new aggression, Isaac was unbearable in the summer months when the pool opened up and the bikes came out. He would run around the pool as soon as we went in, and was unable to stop. The pads of his paws were torn and bloody. We tried so many things, crating him while swimming, turning music on so he wouldnt hear the kids in the pool or on bikes, putting him in a gated area, leashing him... nothing helped. We had in-home and outside training and the results were always the same. My husband is a disabled veteran and the dogs behavior was causing increasedAnxiety for everyone. We decided to try Diamond in the Ruff board and train as our last attempt. Robert took Isaac for 4 weeks (2 of which he didnt even charge us).  He also worked with us in our home, around our pool and with the children. We finally have a dog that we can enjoy. Uncle Robert loves animals, he understands their behaviors, he is patient, and trustworthy.  Considering what he did, the cost of other board and trains, his prices are fair and worth every penny. We still are working with Isaac every day, but Robert gave us the tools and showed us how to use them. If you are struggling with your dog, Uncle Robert is your guy.

Hands down Robert is the best trainer. He is supportive, encouraging, and instills confidence in all dog owners - new and seasoned. Thankful for his experience, guidance, and expertise. Would highly recommend.

We cannot thank Robert enough. Our 1 year old golden retriever finally listens to us. We were previously having issues with our dog and our families dog getting along. Robert is extremely passionate at his job and went above and beyond to help us get through this challenge and fully train our dog the correct way (we previously went to a different trainer). “Uncle Rob” was a great dog trainer for our 8-9month old mini bernedoodle. Beforehand our dog was very stubborn and tough to handle. Rob taught us techniques and strategies on how to train our dog and be in control of every situation. I would recommend him to anyone.

Just had my Rottweiler dropped off from Rob, and what a difference two weeks makes. He really shows he cares a lot about his clients and most importantly dogs in general. Easy to work with and will be using him again, and recommend him to family and friends, and to all people that see this review.

My husband and I were dealing with a very stubborn Golden Retriever, Cody. Cody is a great dog, a sweetheart. I looked into trainers online and found Robert. Hands down, he’s the best. Uncle Rob is a magician! He turned our puppy into this wonderful, well-behaved, bundle of joy over the course of two weeks! We have been maintaining his training tactics on our girl, and she is very receptive! I can go for walks with her and my daughter at ease, use her trained action words to stop her from stealing my daughter’s toys lol, or being nippy within seconds. Having a toddler and a puppy at the same time was a challenge that I wasn’t prepared for and I’m so thankful Rob was able to mold her into the wonderful pup she is today! I would recommend his services in a heartbeat!

We’d had our 14 week old Pomeranian, Mickey, for about 2 weeks. Being inexperienced, we tried everything we heard about to house train him with absolutely no success. I contacted Robin via the internet and got an immediate response. 3 days later she brought her magic bag to our home. That was just yesterday and we’re already seeing positive results. I called Robert regarding my 9 month old Rottweiler in December. Although a sweet heart of a puppy, he had his times were he was a menace. Robert came and sat down with my family and I, explained different options he offers and met the menace himself.I decided to send my dog, Baci, to Robert’s 2 week in home board and train program. I could not be happier with results. Baci came home after two weeks of Robert’s provision and care almost unrecognizable in terms of capabilities. He listened to all commands, and showed us with an example lesson. He then proceeded to have my family and I repeat his actions with Baci and it was working! Robert worked out some errors we were making.Two weeks go by and Baci is starting to act up again so Robert comes to my house and gives a lesson once again and shows us what we have been doing wrong since Baci first arrived home. Since that lesson, everything has been amazing and my puppy is controlled and obedient.I thank Robert for doing such a wonderful job with Baci and will recommend his services to anyone that is in need. The best part of it all was Robert truly loved my dog, Baci, and you can see it a mile away.Thanks again!
