Best vet ever! There arent enough stars to give the rating this place deserves! We have tried just about every other vet in a 25 mile radius & were never happy until we found this place. The Dr. & the staff are absolutely wonderful. From awesome healthcare for all our furbabies to the compassion given when our senior dog neared the end. Just sheer sincerity in our time of grief. I travel almost an hour & it is SO WORTH IT! Furbabies agree, they love them all!

DISAPPOINTED!!For years Allen Veterinary Hospital has been taking care of our dogs and cats. We always paid upfront for their service, and literally have spent thousands of dollars!! My husband became very sick with a heart infection that was eating away at his internal organs. He went through extensive surgery, had to learn to walk again etc. after a long stay at strong memorial hospital in Rochester. A few months ago my husband passed. During the time of his illness we were unable to get our dogs to Allens for a checkup! Mind you, our dogs were 15 years old, and were patients at that clinic for years. We missed 2 years of visits due to my husbands extensive illness. When I phoned to schedule an appointment, I was refused an appointment. I explained our situation, and was transferred to a rude office manager, who appeared not to be concerned about our situation, and refused to see our dogs. She told me the doctor was too busy, over worked, and was unable to see our dogs that were DrMcLaughlins patients for years. I am very dissatisfied with the uncaring, rude managers attitude, and refusing to schedule an appointment. I will definitely direct others to a different veterinary hospital when asked for a reference!!

I went there with my parents dog. I no longer live in the area but my parents were looking for a vet that day and he had an opening. Out of it all Dr Allen won my parents/babe (the dog) as new patient. Great service. Very friendly. Answered questions. Took a called the next day and answered more questions.

Great place to board your vet while youre away. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We have been going to this vet for over 26years. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our fur babies (we have had to say goodbye to 5 them) the whole team was very compassionate . The Dr. takes time to explain everything to us and is wonderful with our dogs. We like this veterinary establishment so much that when we moved from Chenango Bridge to Endicott we now travel 14 miles to see them.

We’ve been taking our pup here since her first shots. They’ve always been easy to work with, but this week when my girl was sick they were especially helpful and kind throughout the experience no one likes to have with their pet. I had to book an emergency appointment with them twice and they were patient, compassionate and helped get all my questions answered. The treatment was appropriate and fairly priced for her symptoms. Thank you to the whole team!

I absolutely love this office! The staff are great, and the doc has a no-nonsense attitude. He is blunt and answers all questions honestly. Nothing but the best service!!

My boy hadnt been acting himself lately and seemed to be in pain and i wanted to get him checked immediately rather then wait 2+ weeks for all the other vets. These guys managed to squeeze me in the same day. Staff was very welcoming and friendly to me and my dog. The vet adressed all my concerns and gave me all the facts and options of what we could do. The whole place gave off a very welcoming tight knit feel that i loved and will be bringing my teddy bear back when we need a vet!

Phenomenal pet care and additional services, they truly care and give great feedback and support. If youre looking for a reliable vet in the area, look no further!

Dr Loughlin has been caring for our dog for nine years now. We are completely satisfied with the professionalism of him and his staff. We also board our dog there several times a year and our dog just loves going there. How we know is she cant get through the door fast enough that leads to the kennels and that leaves us with a good feeling as we leave her in their care.

Caring and friendly staff that sets your mind at ease. Dr. Laughlin was kind and knowledgeable. Making an appointment was easy, and they were able to get me in much quicker than other vets in the area. Also, it was affordable and didnt break the bank.

I took my last family dog for fourteen years as well as a new rescue dog to Dr Loughlin. He is great to work with and isnt pushy about testing etc. He explains the issues and gives the necessary pros and cons to make informed decisions. Entire staff is excellent

During Covid when no other veterinarian would see my cat Mr. Whitetail, Dr. Allen stepped up, my boy had to be euthanized in February and I was beside myself because I wanted to bury him in his backyard, for a nominal fee they kept him in cold storage until such time as I could do so. Im forever grateful for this ❤❤❤

Love the people here, better yet our dogs love it here. They get excited when they know we are getting close. We kennel them there often. Pricing is reasonable for the area. Thank you for always being available for Duncan and Ali.

We use Allens to board our German Shepherd, Tucker, when going on vacations out-of-town. We really trust them to take good care of our boy, and they more than meet our expectations. They show a true affection for Tucker. We highly recommend them as a caring place to leave your dog for an extended time period when needed.

We love this place! Vet is informative and friendly, as are the staff. We have a few cats with some behavioral issues, who HATE going to the vet, but they always handle them with patience and grace. Thank you for your service, Allen Vet Hospital!

Absolutely love this place. They treat my dog Bailey as one of their own family members and the staff is so good with her so she has no fears going here. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to care for their pets.

They do everything they can to help out your little family members. I understand sometimes pet care isnt always about the cost but their prices are definitely headed in here how did it appear. Theyve helped my family out with animal emergency as well as Is as check UPS and update

I moved to Florida recently. I have not been able to find a place as good as Allen Veterinary. My cat has a fear of cars and he usually poops every time hes in the car. The people at Allen Veterinary couldnt not be nicer about it! Lets face it, its gross, but it happens all the time in this business. They always took Teddy out back and washed him up so he came home clean. I can not for the life of me find a place in Orlando with staff as nice as the staff here. The last place I took him to they wouldnt even help me hold him so I could clean him myself. If youre in Binghamton Allen is the best place!

I took my dog to Allen Veterinary Hospital for a general consultation after adopting her from a rescue because this hospital had the best internet reviews. I found the veterinarian to be a bit rude. As a first time client, he did not even introduce himself nor did he care to know my name, or my dogs name. Also, he did not seem to want to listen to any of the concerns that I had about my dog. He would simply talk over me whenever I tried to voice my opinion/concern.Also, I did not like the fact that the consultation room is one door away from the waiting room. The vet talks very loud and everyone in the waiting room ends up hearing your business.The vet seemed to be knowledgeable however, I am not interested in dealing with a vet who does not want to take my opinion of my dogs condition into consideration. I have since found a new vet and would not recommend this vet to anyone who wishes to build a relationship between you, your dog and the vet.

I have been going here for about 20 years. They are knowlegable, caring, and Everyone is so nice.

This is the only Vet ill take my animals to. The dr was a neighbor of mine as a kid and i was at his house seeing how he is as a person and how he treats ALL animals. Now Im happy to say my saint Bernard and gsd boxer mix love him! (Both rescues!)

This place kept my hairless dog in a cage during boarding and he was cut and bloody all over. Animal abusers.

We loved coming here until we moved out of the area. Dr. Loughlin was very accommodative and knowledgeable whenever we had questions. Administrative staff were very friendly and efficient as well.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable to my boy and me alike. Doctor was very knowledgeable and they dont feel he was trying to push expensive products on me just to make a buck.

The staff are all great! The veterinarian is really good with our dogs and our dogs love him. Always a good experience.

This place is a joke. They let a neighbor of mine to take my cat there and have it put to sleep. This old man takes so called stray cats in but he also new that the cat was our cat. So he said he took it in to have shot. well the cat had a tag on for rabies shot and the vet that did it. But no questoins to the man as to why the cat has a tag already. This should have been a red flag that this cat may not be his. But they still put it to sleep. I feel this is wrong of this vet hospital and they need to pay for this. After calling rhem to talk about this they said basically to bad.

Weve been with this hospital for YEARS. The doctor and staff have always been amazing. This is an animal hospital, and they are focused on your pet, not you. The quality of care here is outstanding.

They refused to help a robin that had a broken wing because it was a wild animal, meaning no money. I understand but would hope for more from a veterinary hospital. I hear they are good otherwise.

Best veterinary practice in the Southern Tier! All the people are helpful and friendly! The vet is smart and listens. Couldnt ask for a better place! And they board!!!

I love coming here. I have gone to vets before who have pushed me into things that were not necessary, shamed me for not knowing something, and overall took advantage of my lack of knowledge when it comes to certain things. The Dr here is so honest and is straight forward. I never feel like I am being pushed into anything, and I feel like he actually has my animals best interest in mind not money. The staff is so kind and remembers all of my animals names. My dog is so excited to go in every time we get there because of the kindness of everyone. I recommend this vet to everyone I know.
