Mels Pet Pourri

We love going to get a bath & brush at Mel’s ! The girls even send me pictures of my boy after he finishes his bath & blow dry . As you can see from the before & after pictures they always do an amazing job scrubbing him down. He always come back smelling amazing & looking amazing ! I can’t suggest Mel’s enough !

We love Mels!!! Its like our dogs second home. Everyone there is amazing and friendly and they treat the animals like they are family. Cant recommend them highly enough!!!

When it was Pennys they were great with my dog. Since becoming Mels they have gone down hill. Took him for a grooming and nail cut and he came home with one nail not cut and all kinds of fleas. My dog doesnt go out of the house except for going there.

I stopped by to have the dogs nails ground down as a walk-in. (Our Dachshund is not very well-behaved.) The techs took her, restrained her compassionately, and filed her nails on the spot! Wonderful service available here! The cost was very reasonable!

They do a fantastic job! My boy Harlem always comes back looking sharp.

I took my pup here to get a bath over the summer and a brush down. even though mel is his grandma he still has fun and plays with the other friendly pups. sometimes he even goes to doggy daycare while im away. also a good place for fish and reptiles. you can tell mel puts her heart into making the place personal and welcoming to everyone and their furry babies

They made my little babies beautiful! My one gets matted terribly and they made her look amazing! They smelt good and they added little bows and a ribbon on them. Was around the 4th of July so it was a festive bow. Also pretty reasonable on pricing.

Mel’s is a wonderful place to take your dog for grooming. Our dogs always love going and coming home smelling and looking beautiful. Mel also offers daycare daily and the dogs love going there to play with the other dogs and get loved by the staff while we work for the day. They now even offer fish and reptiles if you’re in the search for those. The staff is absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend.

My dog goes there every couple of months for a bath, hair cut, etc. He loves the place so much, he plays with other dogs, hard to get him to go home. I highly recommend this place. Staff is super friendly. Been going there for years.

They did an excellent job on my dog; Prancer. They met all my accommodations and this is the best grooming place I’ve taken him to! I highly recommend this to your family and friends!

Simply awesome. First time with Mel’s. We dropped off both of our puppies. Picked them up perfectly bathed, groomed, and incredibly happy. Will be going here for the future. :)

1st visit at Mel’s with our 14 year old , blind toy poodle was fantastic! Reasonable rates and caring, professional people ! Her cut was perfect and it was obvious by our dogs demeanor when we picked her up that she had been treated with compassion and love in her fragile state. Will go back !

Been taking my yellow lab to Penny’s pretty much all of his 8 years. They are really great with him and they are always willing to check out any concerns you have with your dog as far as fleas and ticks and anything has to do with grooming. Started taking my cat there to get her nails trimmed and their just as awesome with her as they are with my dog. Go to Pennys you’ll love it

What a wonderful experience for my two Bouvier des Flanders. trepidation before the visit. our younger dog was a covid baby and not very socialized as opposed to mr make yourself at home. we had been grooming them but then I broke my hand and many other of lifes complications. I was embarrassed of the boys to say the least. how incredibly pleased I was with the time and gentleness as well as overall care taken with Lincoln and McKinley. When I called to thank them I was literally in tears. In todays world of lackluster consumer priorities I can honestly say that this business sincerely deserves all the accolades bestowed upon it.

Quality of grooming was excellent, BUT turn-around time is INSANELY slow. With a reservation, it took them 8+ hours to groom my small dog, and seemed to believe that was normal and acceptable. When I suggested they should have told me that it might be better to make the appointment for a different day, they claimed I *was* told that ... but then they again insisted that over 8 hours was not strange.

I was thoroughly surprised at what a great place this is. The owner was very tentative and professional. The place was very clean. I’ll be back. My dog looks great !!

I brought my two yorkie terriers here on the suggestion from my my God Mother. Was able to make an appointment very quick. The time it took to groom them was very quick too. To top it off the job they did was professional and it was money well spent. I will definitely be coming back!
