Vicky, Jessie and Kim are all incrediblyLoving to any animals. Vicky has been breeding and raising huskies for over 30 years. Look at allThe popular dramatic husky videos on TikTok these days - raising huskies for 30 years is no easy task! I have purchased 2 of the most loving huskies fromThem, both fromDifferent litters. I also adopted a 3rd Stafford fromThem that they had rescued and nursed back to health. She was severely abused and is now in an extremely loving home for the past 4”5 years where she has really come out of her shell, thanks to the three women aforementioned.Amazing, intelligent, and beautiful. I was 19 when I got myFirst one, Rykuu. They were reluctant to sell me at first, seeing as I was so young and unaccompanied by parents. They have intensive qualifications for becoming a husky owner as they love each and every one of their puppies. I quickly won them over and became life long friends. I have volunteered for them behind the scenes and have always showed my support, as they have showed theirs to me. Whenever I need a sitter, or to come in early or stay late, they would adjust their schedules for me. When I had a elderly family member who needed to give up their pup for adoption, they were quick to jump in to the rescue. Countless animals (huskies, other dogs, cats, ducks, rabbits etc…) have been abandoned by their owners or even by Mother Nature herself right on the doorstep of Snow Drift kennels and every one of them have been protected and nurtured by the women here. They have deviated their lives to their animals. Ignore the simpletons that leave negative reviews and poor judgements on the quality of the establishment or character of its owners - they are uneducated and ignorant. Snow drift kennels is by far one of the highest quality kennels/breeders with the most loving family behind them.
We bought three huskies there and take them there for groomingThese are woolly huskies and very very difficult to brush the matted fur but they always do a good job for reasonable price even though sometimes it can take many hours. We always get good advice from Vicky about training and health issues for these awesome dogs so I give the highest rating to SDK.
We took our husky puppy to SDK for the weekend to be boarded while we were away. He was so excited to go to a place with other Huskies and as soon as I walked in I knew we had chosen the right place. Victoria gave him a bath before we picked him up he looked great and we knew he had fun because he passed out as soon as he came home. I highly recommend SDK and would use them again without hesitation.
We got our first husky Aja at Snowdrift eight yrs ago. We have gotten two more after that. Whenever we have a problem with any of our dogs, behavior, diet, health, training, Vicky is there to help with expertise from many years of experience in breeding and training these remarkable dogs. No one knows more about Siberian huskies than Vicky and her daughters. After eight years we still depend on Snowdrift for anything concerning our dogs. They are almost like family and co-owners of Aja, Solar, and Zazu. If you are interested in having one of these awesome dogs I strongly recommend Snowdrift .
We love our pup from Snowdrift! She’s happy, healthy, and the team always checks in on social media to see how we’re doing. We boarded with them in October, too! It was great knowing our husky was safe with “husky people” and her family pack! Xoxo
Dogs are loved and healthy there. The premises may be not too fancy, but they have everything necessary (clean kennels inside, water, good food and care). Victoria, the owner, is very knowledgeable of huskies and can recommend what is essential for the puppy without trying to upsell for unnecessary services. They are nice people, too
Vicky is so knowledgeable and caring of the Huskies. She made the process of buying a puppy easy. I was able to buy everything I needed here and she gave me detailed instructions for feeding the puppy. I highly recommend buying a husky from Snow Drift Kennels.
I went to SC for 9 days recently, dropped my dog at SDK. They were in constant contact with me regarding how Katie(my dog) was doing. I was very impressed by that. They reached out daily, it put me at ease. I’d definitely bring Katie back there if I go away again.
My mom and I purchased a puppy in 2005. Naiya is 14 1/2 years old and (for her age) healthy. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. At this point she bypassed cancer and diabetes so my vet says if we all lived as old as her we’d live to be 100. He expects she will last as long as her kidneys and liver will allow. She still has energy and is a happy girl. We go for walks together most days. We’ve done so much together- camping, hiking, she goes practically everywhere with me. She has even travelled through Penn Station on the escalators and on Amtrak to visit my mom with me.Naiya and I have such a special bond.I am forever grateful for Snow Drift Kennels. When I got Naiya, Vicki and her husband provided much support and I am beyond satisfied with their service. They breed wonderful lines. Their dogs are strong, healthy, have wonderful temperaments, personality and are of great conformation.I strongly recommend Snow Drift Kennels if you are looking for well-bred huskies. Just do your research on the breed to make sure a Husky is the right option for you. Otherwise you won’t be doing the dog any good.
After agreeing to sell my dear friend a husky puppy, Victoria proceeded to prey on a disabled woman with VERY limited financial resources, reneging on their agreement by not producing the promised animal and, ultimately, bilking her out of $1,100.My friend had her heart set on being able to train this husky to be her service dog (over the years, she had raised and trained three other huskies who had each also provided this duty), and had even picked out names, while making sure she had all of the necessary supplies INCLUDING the puppy food Victoria insisted would be needed during the transition. All seemed to going as planned until Victoria was informed of the date my friend would be arriving to pay any outstanding fees as well as take possession of the puppy. After numerous promises from Victoria to return all monies incurred, and numerous messages from my friend stating the funds still had not arrived, my friend contacted the police which held jurisdiction over the area where Snow Drift Kennel is located. They stated they were VERY familiar with Victoria and her little operation, before saying its highly likely the puppy had been sold to someone else.If there had ever even been a puppy to speak of, only Victoria knows, and she is a liar and thief.
My family and I have been going here for 30+ years. The owner, Vicki, is so knowledgeable about dogs especially Siberian Huskies (as she breeds them too). I always rely on her expertise. The store is old and dated, but Id much rather shop local when I can.
Many of my friends helped one of our friends raise money for another friend to get a husky to train as a service dog. The owner Victoria decided last minute to not give her the dog we paid for and 3 months later, has still refused to refund the money we raised so she could find another breeder for a service dog. Victoria has actually gone as far as to say not only unprofessional, but harmful things to our friend, while still refusing to give our money back to her.
Dasha is my 3rd huskie from snow drift kennel. I have know the owner and her family run business since the late 90s Never met a person who has such devotion and love for the animals.
Always friendly And helpful. I get videos and texts. My diog is now 15 years old and I know shes well taken care of when I need to leave her. I am grateful to Snow Drift for always having a place for my girl.
Some of the nastiest people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Run like a circus, completely unhinged behavior. Boarded my 2 dogs for 4 days and was verbally abused by the owner when I returned for my now excrement covered animals. Considered reporting their filthy establishment to the ASPCA. Avoid at all costs unless you really hate your pets.
I got my 13 year old husky from sdk and goes back for grooming and boarding. He likes Vicky and doesnt mind going back.
At first glance i was skeptical of what to expect, but they did an amazing job watching my dog. They accomidated our last minute scheduling and even adding time due to an emergency. Would highly recommend for anyone needing to board their dogs
I boarded my girl there while I went away for a week. Came back to a dog left outside in kennels struggling from the heat. No water. Took my breath away seeing what I saw. Owner was rude. Dog was a mess. I made up for it when I got her home but never went away again.
I have been taking my cat here for years for a lion cut. They take their time and do a beautiful job. Could not recommend them more!
My dog was born here and often is brought back for the quality grooming and excellent lodging! Looking forward to the next batch of all whites! So cute!
Stay far away from this place! I wish I could give zero stars.Completely crazy woman who rips off vulnerable people with disabilities. Absolutely disgusting business practices, the woman is basically running a con game - the local police are aware of her despicable actions. She doesnt even care that a court ordered her to repay a customer that shed ripped off $1100.DO NOT GO NEAR!
Have brought DZ there many times and never ever had an issue. As a matter of fact we consider it going to sleep away camp for DZ
Our dogs were given 100% attention and care. They love going there!
Although we recently lost our Husky, purchasing him from Snow Drift was the best decision ever. He had an amazing temperament and lived a long and happy life (about 13 years). He was energetic, but surprisingly gentle with young children. We miss him so much but we’re happy to have had the years that we did with him. This was also the second husky my family has purchased from here (we also had a female who lived to be over 15). It’s a shame some people complain about this establishment because these breeders really want what’s best for their dogs and want them to go to the proper families. Especially when so many huskies are abandoned today due to being placed with a family that is not equipped to deal with such a unique and energetic breed. It’s definitely a unique family run business that will not just tell you what you want to hear just to make some money off their dogs. They know A LOT about this bread. If your not a good fit they have no problem telling you which is honestly amazing. Some people find it abrasive but I find it pretty honest.(They also have nothing against people with disabilities and are not a scam….like really? Some of these comments from last year are laughable and definitely untrue. I obviously don’t know the complete situation but don’t base your opinion of this place off a string of bad reviews by disgruntled people with an axe to grind who got all their friends to gang up about one purchase.)Thank you so much Snow Drift for giving me so many years with a great pup!
They are wonderful and caring professionals and I highly recommend them!
We purchased our Bella 12 years ago from Snowdrift kennels. Through the years we have always kept in touch with Vicki and her staff. Sadly we just lost our Bella , and we thank Snowdrift Kennels for their support and guidanceWith our beautiful Bella .
Took the money we donated to our disabled friend, then refused to send her the puppy. Cited that they wouldnt send the puppy unless she had specific food for it - we BOUGHT the specific food for her. Then the owners threatened not to return the cheque unless our friend took a chill pill, and has since been found to have already sold the dog elsewhere AND SPENT the money, so they COULDNT send it back to our friend - leaving her with no dog, and $1100 of donations out of pocket.I understand this isnt the first time theyve been taken to small claims for just this reason - buyer beware!
My wife and I found out about Snow Drift Kennels on the AKC website. Walked in and immediately felt comfortable. The woman Vicky has been breeding Siberian Huskies for quite some time and it was easy to tell. We had quite the selection to choose from and she spent a lot of time with us while we picked out our husky. You could tell every dog knew and trusted her. She was informative and well educated about the breed and you could tell she cared for each individual husky as her own and i loved the fact that she feeds her dogs an all organic diet. The parents and grandparents were even on the premises.
A friend of mine raised $1100+ for a puppy from Snowdrift that she would train to be her service dog but days before she was to pick up the puppy they backed out of the agreement because my friend was not buying food and supplements for the puppy from Snowdrift. As if not getting the puppy wasnt bad enough, they have also refused to return her money. Even if they were to refund her money at this point it does not make up for the increased hardship she has gone through during this time. Does not make up for the fact that they took advantage of a person with disabilities and clearly have questionable values when it comes to people and animals.
Unkept. Animals very dirty. Some odd garage sale llike thing going on in front.
Very clean. Nice doggos
Amazing huskies!
Great people.service and attitude..
Would NOT recommen anybody to take their pets there /. Not good ‼️‼️‼️👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
