Canine Pro Dog Training

I would highly recommend Brian for any dog training needs. We worked with him for private sessions as well as a 4 week board and train. He worked with our highly anxious dog to help increase his confidence and obedience. He also worked closely with us on how to continue the training once our dog came home. He was and still is extremely responsive to any questions we may have. He was highly communicative during the board and train with our dog’s progress. I highly recommend Brian for any private training or board and train!

Our dog Jameson was given to us when he was 9 months old. Very cute but out of control. He jumped on everyone, play biting, chewing up the trim and window frames in our kitchen. He spent 4 weeks at board and train. It was the best decision we ever made. He now is an obedient well trained dog and a real pleasure to have as part of our family. Brian did an amazing job. I would highly recommend the board and train well worth it !

Brian is a life saver!! Just picked my one year old doberman up from the board and train program and I couldnt be happier or ask for a better outcome/results. I was super worried once we got her home and around the chaos of our 3 small children and older male dog, she would go right back to her bad behaviors and habits but shes doing phenomenal and were all having so much fun practicing everything she learned Brian really did such a wonderful job laying the ground work and giving her a solid foundation of basic obedience and the behavior modification she so desperately needed. I could not be in the same room as my dog without getting frustrated, knocked over, or in a tug of war match. Now she is truly a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Brian to anyone dealing with a reactive dog, or someone who just wants some basic training for them as well. He not only trains the dogs, but also the owners. We did private lessons and also a 2 week Board and Train. He truly helped me understand my dogs reactive tendencies and now I can manage every situation we come across. His balanced training techniques are very effective and I have seen such a huge progress with my 1 year old pup. Best of all, he is now off leash trained which gives us the freedom to do so many fun things together. Thank you Brian for giving us a happier life together!

Brian is an amazing trainer. He is patient and showed real interest in working with us and our dogs. Our dogs made great progress in only 5 sessions. Especially our rescue who has high anxiety, went from growling and timid to engaged and excited by the 5th lesson. Worth ever minute and would highly recommend.

We reached out to Brian initially just to consult for some training sessions for our new pup. We have an extremely chaotic home with young children and another older dog so we were a bit overwhelmed adding another pup to the mix ! From the beginning, Brian was very knowledgeable, informative and obviously very passionate about his work. Brian explained all of the options and expectations for all the different types of training and we chose to do the 2 week board and training and I am SO HAPPY we did. Brian sent daily updates with accompanying YouTube videos of his progress throughout the 2 weeks. Our pup seemed right at home and it was obvious that he formed a trusting bond with Brian. He gave us advice on certain training tools, what type of kennel to get, type of bed, toys, treats etc. which was truly very helpful. Brian went above and beyond when he noticed that our pup had a UTI. He tested his urine which showed a + result and offered to bring him to the vet so he could start him on antibiotics asap. We were so incredibly grateful. When we picked up our pup, Brian was very patient and took a good amount of time teaching my husband and I his new routines and training techniques. We were AMAZED when we brought him home ! He’s doing better and better each day that passes with housebreaking, even with all the craziness that surrounds him! And now we have a lot of fun involving our older daughter in the obedience piece of it, and our pup loves the quality time too. If you’re looking for someone to train your dog that is kind, caring, dedicated and extremely skillful, would 10/10 recommend!!!

Brian was a true master at his craft with the training of our dog Pilot. He on a regular basis sent us videos of his progress, on our visits we could tell the care and attention given to Pilot as he was happy to be there! It was truly a great experience for pilot and one he will take with him thru his life! Thank you Brian!

I highly recommend Brian for training your dog. He is very professional, knowledgeable and has a great way with the dogs. He took the time to understand the training I wanted for my lifestyle. Brian boarded and cared for our bernedoodle, Pearl for two weeks as if she was his own. He constantly updated us about her progress and shared instructional videos so we were prepared for her return home. We were able to share these videos with additional family members to reinforce the commands she learned. In addition, Brian not only taught Pearl, sit, stay, down, place, leave it (with our cat), but he showed us how important brief training sessions are mentally to reduce her energy levels. Not only was Pearl learning, but she was truly having fun during the training. Brian is now working with us to prepare for our newest addition (a baby)! Brian is the real deal. Professional but personable. Very easy to work with and knows how to train dogs. Our overly energized lab Baylee came back a well behaved pup. Having our 7 month old puppy spend 2 weeks with Brian was one of the best decisions our family has ever made. I heard mixed reviews about the “board and train” concept, but for us, it was exactly what we needed- for both our dog Tilly, and especially us. Brian taught us a language where we could understand each other better. As he explained to us, dogs want to please us. If we are not clear in our requests (commands) and use too many words (a big problem of mine 🥴), they don’t know what we want, become frustrated, and innocently “misbehave.” He also taught us how to control her surroundings in a way that sets her up for success; rather than failure.Brian was extremely communicative before, during, and after the 2 week training. We texted constantly, received play by play coverage, as well as suggestions for things we might want to try when she came home. The best part were the training videos he put on YouTube for us. We were able to study and practice all the techniques used. We were also able to share the videos with our kids and friends who see Tilly regularly.The day we picked her up, we spent almost 3 hours there, ourselves being trained! I guess not all families are willing to put in the effort and he seemed to appreciate that we were all in.Since the training, he has come to our house 2 times so far for continued training… a really nice perk of board and train!Brian is one of those people whose career is his passion. His knowledge for dog/human behavior is extensive and we could clearly see the bond he formed with Tilly.I believe Brian gave us a huge gift in understanding, and loving, our dog on a level we feared we’d never reach.

Brian is an absolute dog whisperer. My family was at a loss and then we found Brian. Our dog Jace has been given a chance to live alongside us whilst being under control. Before he would jump up on us with all of his weight leaving us with bruises. He was out of control eating our house. Now he is attentive and aware of when it is time for play or time to relax. I am so proud of Jace for this improvement. Brian also took his genuine time to help my family gain the skills needed to continue everything Jace learned during his 2 week board and train. Brian is invested in his clients as well as the dogs themselves. It was very clear how much Jace adored Brian as well. The relationship he showed us to build with him is not through fear, but through using a clear communication system of balanced training. We knew as a family we needed to step up if we wanted Jace to live a great life. Brian simply taught us how. We are so thankful!

I sent my 9 month old mini bernadoodle with Brian for 2 week board and train and I could not be happier with the results. Before we sent her away, she ate all the furniture, destroyed my couch, chairs, and all the pillows and blankets. She was constantly chewing valuables other than her toys! I could not walk her on the leash Because she just pulled and pulled. It was so bad I couldn’t even take her on walks. My cousin has used brian for both of his dogs and they are extremely well trained and it is very impressive. I decided to send my bernadoodle with brian and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She no longer even attempts to go on the couch or chew the couch. She knows her place and most of all is much more calm!!! She now matches our energy, if we want to play and run sprint she will but if we are all laying down she will go to her place and not get up. I am a very active 23 year old and love going on long walks and I can finally do that thanks to Brian. I take my dog for 3-5 mile walks a day now Because she doesn’t even attempt to pull me and walks directly next to me. If you are considering sending your dog with Brian DO IT!! It is worth it.

I can not say enough on how much brian has helped me with my five dogs. He has shown me how to be a pack leader and really understand the behaviors of the dogs and how to really work an communicate with them . He is very compassionate with working with both the animal and the handler with lots of patience. I would highly recommend anyone who needs help with their beloved pet to absolutely have brian help you! You will find no one better and not be disappointed.

I recently had Brian take my 2yr old boxer for a 2 week board an train. I cant say enough stellar things about it. Brians attention to details of our concerns, sending videos an texts about his progress was great. Its a little worrisome letting your Dog go with someone for 2 weeks. But Brian is a excellent trainer. After a day or two i had complete confidence in his abilities to properly help with the initial training of our beloved Jace. We were having problems with him urinating in house as well as jumping on people and chewing up things in the house, furniture, shoes ect…. All of these issues were addressed and solutions were presented that actually work!Brian has a very calm demeanor and shows you how to do everything. It doesn’t happen overnight. It requires patience and repetition but it works! I was unaware of why Jace was doing the things he was doing. Brian is like a dog whisperer lol he figured out his issues and made us aware of them. One thing that is very important in this is that Brian always responds quickly to a question or concern. Its obvious he loves what he does and it shows. Jace has been home for a week now and he has made great strides in his behavior. Something you have to understand is Brian is actually training you on what to do. While Jace was under Brians care someone walking a small dog off leash attacked Jace who was on leash as he should be in public and Brian had to take evasive action to protect Jace if you are unaware of how your dog will react to others please dont walk your dog off leash! Most dog problems are unknowingly caused by the owner. We cant thank brian enough and i would highly recommend his services!

Brian did an excellent job training my Boston terrier. My dog listens on command and is extremely well trained. Highly recommend!

We entrusted our 1.5 yr old pup Hank with Brian for 2 weeks of obedience training and we were thrilled with the results.
