About a year ago, I adopted a 6 year old Pom mix from the shelter. He was a stray and I never had a dog that needed to go to the groomer, so naturally, I was nervous about how he’d do. Everyone at mane tame was so friendly and accommodating, but Liz was a rockstar. She made sure my boy was comfortable and well taken care of. She not only took note of his quirks and dislikes, but she also sent me an update on how he was doing. His appearance now matches his lively personality. I would recommend mane tame to anyone. My dog Bo is nervous about grooming but I booked an appointment at Mane Tame after getting a real good review from a dog owner at the dog park. Liz was very patient with Bo my miniature poodle and he came home looking fabulous. She said he was nervous about getting his feet shaved so she just trimmed them up and we’ll work on getting him more comfortable 🐾. The prices are very reasonable and the compassion for your fur baby is amazing.

ManeTame did a great job grooming my cat!!! I was very nervous because I have never brought her to a groomer before and shes very skittish around strangers! They were great with her! The cut turned out wonderful and my cat looks so much better! I will definitely be back!

Our four month old puppy had his first haircut today with Cassie. We were worried how he would do going in, but Cassie did a great job with him. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.

I inherited a cat when my mother passed away and I bring her to Mane Tame for her nail trimming and grooming needs. They are both friendly and reasonably priced.

Well, let me explain my amazing and beautiful experience. Its my babys first visit. And Liz has been so attentive and very concerned about the needs of a mother worried about her baby (lol). She understood very well and has done a wonderful job. Very professional, affectionate and fast. Ill definitely come back and recommend this place. The atmosphere is so cozy and the energy that feels so nice. Im really happy to have found them and to be able to leave my baby in your hands, Liz. Thank you very much and see you soon!

My first google Review ever! ManeTame probably doesnt remember this experience, but I felt the need to share. Yes it was a long time ago, maybe a year, and the memory popped into my head. I was shopping at Fred the Butchers and noticed a grooming store, so I walked in to explain I have a dog that needs to be hand stripped and was looking for a groomer. Hand stripping is a technique that the way I understand it is like plucking. Some dogs are required to be stripped. An adult female emerged from the back room and said are you here for pick up? And I said no, I have a few questions. Right of the bat I had a bad vibe just by saying I had some questions as if she had no time to answer me but she reluctantly said ok. I asked if they strip dogs. Im still not sure if she misunderstood me, but any groomer should know about the stripping process. However I think she thought I was creep. She said we arent taking any new customers. Maybe that quote will stir up the memory. I was really set back. I thought later she thought I was giving her a creepy joke using the word stripping. Either way not professionally handled and if they didnt know what stripping meant maybe they shouldnt be in the business.

Cassie is an excellent person and an even better groomer! Animals and people all love her, and you will not be disappointed in how your furry friend looks after an appointment at ManeTame!

Liz at ManeTame was great with my nervous dog. She was very kind, understanding, and efficient. He hates getting nail trims and will put up a fight when I try to do it at home, but Liz had his nails trimmed and filed in no time. We will be loyal customers from now on!

Cassie grooms my Persian cat and I have also brought my older mixed breed who is getting older and having a harder time keeping himself clean. She does an excellent job with both of them. It’s such a relief to have a competent cat groomer so close to home!

We absolutely LOVE ManeTame! Our German Shepard is 115 pounds and gets nervous around other large dogs and they take such great care of him. They are all very professional and even remember my dog every time he goes there. We moved away from Clifton Park last year and still make the drive to bring him here! Overall, completely worth any money you spend here 😊

The worst..partially shaved my cat and then told me they can’t cut anymore..I came to pick her up and there was literally a foot long trail hanging from my cat..I asked the lady is she serious - and she laughed at me and told me it wasn’t her problem..I brought my cat home and now she’s been throwing up for two hours straight, I called them to see if they if they gave my cat anything and the lady said “okay” and hung up on me and then didn’t pick up..if you love you animal don’t bring them here. They don’t care and the lady seemed completely out of it.

Jill has been grooming my moms dogs for years, so when I adopted a very fluffy old dog and needed a groomer I could trust to be patient with him, I knew exactly where to take him. Jills calm and gentle manner keeps him relaxed, so he doesnt get too stressed from the experience, and he always looks great when shes done with him.

The team at Mane Tame always take very good care of our pal Scout. Hes a timid long haired cat, but his grooming always comes out great. Weve used a few other closer groomers for him, but opt to drive a little further to come here!

Very clean front lobby setting. Cassie did a wonderful job grooming a cat of mine, Charlie, that had never been bathed before. Charlie is a bit of a scaredy cat, but Cassie was able to work with him and get him clean and smelling wonderful! Highly recommend these folks.

Jill always does a fabulous job on my little Bear and is always open to doing something different. Always extremely kind, courteous and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better, more trustworthy groomer for my fur baby

My dog loves going here to be groomed and the staff is very accommodating. I had to cancel 2 appointments in a row and Jill was helpful in letting me set new dates.

Jill regularly does pur cats nails, and she so sweet to her and speedy too! Prices are very reasonable for the service you get! Jill is fantastic!

They groomed two of our babies this week. Our kitties came home happy and beautiful! We were very happy with their cuts and we highly recommend this company!

Jill is one of the few groomers that does hair stripping for terriers. She does a great job on my Border terrier and my Airedale before that.

Im New to the Grooming Scene. I recently bought myself a little Yorkie Poo ! She was in rough shape my first visit to Mane Tame and very timid. Cassie was very sweet. I returned to a Very Happy Honey Bee and will Continue. They are Great ❤

I have a rescue dog, that has been troubled with allergies. We have been to many groomers, all of whom my dog cowarded when returning for the next visit. Jill has been grooming Jake for over a year now, and every time we get out of the car, Jake happily trots to the door. She has taken the time to be gentle with him and it really shows.
