Where to begin???😂. We’ve been taking our Golden Doodle there since she was 11 months old. Bella. The staff are just the nicest people, who really care about you and your pet. The owner and his love for animals is something you don’t see often in people. So when you drop off your loved one, it gives you great confidence knowing that he or she is in great caring hands.Recently we went on vacation, and Bella stayed with them for 8.5 days. During that time whenever we emailed or texted on her condition, we were updated right away, even once with a video of her and a friend, Bear, running and playing in the snow! That really made us feel good. We returned a day early, and they made time for us to come get her on a Sunday!Really awesome people who love your pet as much as you do. Highly recommend them for long term stay or grooming. Which Bella goes for every couple months. Their grooming services are top notch and always do a great job.You will not be disappointed if you decide to use them as your groomer or boarding.

Our previous groomer left the area; after reading reviews, I scheduled an appointment with Pink Dog Parlor for our two older dogs. My husband dropped them off at the scheduled time and was given a pick-up time. He returned and both pups were ready and were very pleased with the results! We will definitely be returning.

The entire staff is warm and friendly. Jesses groomer is Amanda, she is amazing and does awesome work. Not to mention Mike, at the desk, he is the best. Appointment day always makes my day.

Pink dog parlor was amazing for our dogs, it was our first experience and it won’t be our last. The had a blast and it definitely was a little resort getaway for them while we were away. Thank you pink dog parlor!

If your dog has anxiety, do not subject him or her to this facility. The groomers knew my dog was beaten with a brush at a former groomer and as a result has intense anxiety and fear. The previous 2 sessions at Pink Parlor went well because the groomer was kind, patient and understanding. However, this most recent grooming was performed by 2 other groomers. I was told upon pickup, in front of other clients picking up their dogs, that my dog is VERY DANGEROUS, and that this is OUR LIVLIHOOD. My dog reacts to ILL and NEGATIVE actions only. The impatience of the groomer clearly made his anxiety escalate. The groomer should have contacted us DURING the grooming, rather than continue grooming if they TRULY thought him to be so DANGEROUS. It was unprofessional to be chastised in front of other customers. I was literally so taken back by the lack of care, concern for my dogs, and professionalism, that I was speechless.Pink Dog Parlor does do a phenomenal job in the actual grooming (they know how to cut specified breeds), but AT WHAT COST?? I dont care about the financial aspect. I do care about what they did to my dog to make him incredibly defensive, knowing his anxiety. I care about what they DID NOT do to diffuse the situation appropriately. We will not be returning to Pink Dog Parlor.In answer to your response below, my dog reacted to impatience and reacts to those negative actions. Also, at no time was I embarrassed at checkout as you implied. Right, wrong, or indifferent, no customer should be spoken to in a manner that is demeaning, as you did to me, especially in front of other customers. I said I was chastised, and outright taken back by your lack of professionalism.

We have been taking our Lab mix and German Shepard to them for about 4 months now, and they always come back smelling great and nails trimmed to our liking. Their shedding is greatly reduced and they never have any irritations with the shampoo /conditioners they use. They have very reasonable prices, great packages and will work with you whatever your requests might be for your pet. We have gone to many dog groomers in the area and were never really happy. I can say they are our favorite so far. Highly recommend!

Easy front entrance & egress, but it was my 1st time there bringing a dog for a family member & I didnt find staff overly friendly or helpful. It wasnt entirely clear initially which direction I should take once inside. I had to look carefully for signs and then interpret the labels which were somewhat unclear whether it was labeling a separate business inside the building to the left...or just a separate section of the same business. They werent overly inviting, failing to even acknowledge me there for a few minutes. When I returned to pick up the dog, he was done beautifully overall but no one was at the receptionist desk, nobody was available nearby, there were no instructions or signs helping me locate my dog or even anyone to help. I finally intruded upon somebody inside a room busy grooming another dog. She was incredibly sweet, kind & helpful, thankfully. She got my dog, stated that the receptionist had gone downstairs or such...(a simple, Be right back sign wouldve been helpful), and wasnt upset at all that I interrupted her working. They were very helpful sending me a text message, as requested, to alert me when my dog was finished getting groomed. He smelled very lovely.

Today I brought my 2 yr old Australian Shepherd in to The Pink Dog Parlor. Scheduling my dog was easy. I was greeted at the door. The tech took the time to discuss what I wanted. When I picked her up she look awesome! Well be back. Thanks for a great grooming.

After a bad experience at a corporate chain, my girlfriend and I were frustrated and wanted to get our Cockapoo puppy groomed last week. After calling a couple places, we found Pink Dog Parlor. We were treated very professionally on the phone and were eager to bring our pup to her spa date. We are very happy that we did, because I, as well as my girlfriend and my family, were all absolutely impressed with the result. So I write this review commending our stylist on the phenomenal job she did. Thank you so much, we will be referring others to you as well as being long time clients.

Pink Dog Parlor did a fantastic grooming on my Exotic Shorthair cat. I would recommend them highly for cats.

Ive been here a handful of times with my sable Shetland sheepdog but I think Im going to try to find a new groomer for my pup. This place seems fine to me but Ive asked on my last couple visits for them to not over trim my dogs tail and around his neck and they havent listened. Im no expect on breed standards for grooming but Im annoyed they dont seem to take my requests when I bring my dog in. Nothing major and I know his coat will grow back, but Ive found myself repeatedly frustrated that Im paying for a simply clean up and my requests arent being listened to.

It was our first experience. My dog’s cut was fine and the prices were reasonable but I can echo the other reviewers when I say that the customer service was lacking. Quite a bit. No communication at all, basically just taking my dog and not saying much of anything. Then, when I came to pick her back up, same thing: “credit card?” I responded yes. He nudged the machine toward me, I inserted the card, payment was completed, and he simply walked away… when he came back with my dog, still nothing. Literally not even the typical “have a nice day”. Also, it smelled like a kennel inside. Unfortunately, I don’t see us returning.

Just brought my shih tzu puppy to pink parlor today for her first ever grooming and I just want to say what an amazing job they did on her!!! Absolutely in love!! She was a little ragamuffin and now she’s the cutest little puppy ever!!! Highly recommend to here and good reasonable prices for the outstanding quality of the haircut!

Worst experience ever!!! I brought my dog for a nail trim and there was no greeting upon arrival, just ripped the leash out of my hand and pulled my dog to the back room. As I am sitting there waiting I can hear my dog crying. A couple minutes later she comes out all annoyed and says to me ugh I would be done in a minute if he would just sit still so I said would you like me to come back and help? she said well yea... So I go back to help calm him down and she is yanking at his paws, huffing and puffing because he was terrified and couldnt sit still. At that point I said it is fine, dont worry about it! She then grabbed his paw and snipped at a nail and it started to bleed - so now she has to put a powder on it to stop the bleeding - in which she handed it to me and said here you do it, maybe he will let you. So I did it myself and had blood all over me. I was charged full price and didnt even get an apology for the way she was acting. I couldnt believe it - this could not have been her first time handling a dog that was terrified of getting their nails trimmed. And instead of trying to calm my dog down she was getting frustrated with him and yanking at his paws. It makes me wonder how they treat the animals when you are not around and I will absolutely never return here again. I work at a local animal shelter and I have never seen such treatment of a pet before - usually people who work in this industry are very loving and compassionate towards the animals. Extremely disappointed and I would not recommend going here.

I can’t schedule an appointment. Are they related to Scallywags in Latham, cb # for Scallywags is for Pink Dog Parlor and neither place answers the phone, although PDP does give an explanation on recording which helps a little. Can’t get an appointment for a month online and even though slot was in green, received email saying appt. Not available that day, with no alternatives given. So it would be back to online Russian Roulette scheduling, Or, NOT. Made an appointment elsewhere for Monday at 5 star rated salon. AND, they answered the phone!!!!

I’ve been bringing my dog here for almost a year and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always so kind and gentle. My dog has separation anxiety and they always do everything they can to make sure she is comfortable. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone with a pet!

Its rare I write a review but, I was so blown away by the work done at Pink Dog Parlor of Clifton Park that I felt compelled today. As a former military family, we have tried dog groomers all over the country. Among his other talents, our shepherd/collie mix is a master at SHEDDING. We have become accustomed to him returning home from a groom appointment shedding worse then before due to rushed jobs, etc. Not anymore. I cant believe the job Pink Dog Parlor did, and all in 2 hours! He hasnt shed a hair since returning home and looks like a whole new dog. Ive never seen him look so good. So glad we decided to try this business! Our new go to for grooming.

We have been taking our cockapoo to the Pink Dog Parlor for over 2 years. He ALWAYS looks great, does not get anxious when going, and they have a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. I drive from Delmar to Clifton Park for the excellent care and service we receive, each and every time.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever received :(I called around 9am to see if 2 dogs could come in for baths, they were great about squeezing us in at 11 & the gentleman on the phone was friendly and thorough.Since the dogs had never been to this groomer, we arrived early (10:40) to go over any details that might be needed for a new client. Upon walking in, the place is very tiny and there was hair EVERYWHERE. I fully comprehend that this is a dog grooming salon, however, I have never been to one where the entrance floors are covered in all the hair from styling.When we arrived at 10:40 there was no one at the desk. We waited for 5 minutes or so and then made sure we moved around and talked, etc. So that we would be noticed since the windows from inside the grooming area are clear and the front area can be seen from them. After about 10 mins. Of waiting, a girl with headphones on noticed us and smiled. She kept peeking around trying to see if anyone was helping us but never came out. This went on for ten more minutes before the power went out. Once the power went out she asked her coworkers if they knew anyone had been at the front desk all this time. After running around trying to figure out the power situation, a woman finally came to the front at 11:03.. making that TWENTY THREE minutes of standing at the front desk without being helped.... only gets worse from here..The woman who came out NEVER greeted us. She was beyond rude and the first thing she said to us in the snottiest and most annoyed tone, was obviously we have no power and since youve been standing here you saw when it happened and know I havent had time to call the power company. No hello, no asking what dogs we had, didnt ask anything about the dogs nor greet them in any way. When I asked her if she preferred that we take them home or leave them there, while scrolling through her phone and never once looking up, she stated i dont care, up to you. At this point I was infuriated but the dogs desperately needed to be bathed. I left the dogs and told her to call me within the hour if the power didnt return, and I would pick them up. She took the leashes and turned and went into the back as she said to one of the other girls well I guess we can give them baths and if the power doesnt come back on she can take them to her own house and dry them. Never once asking me if that was okay..Fast forward to a little after noontime. I received a call from Michael stating that Michelle (presumably the horrifically rude woman) took the dogs to their home to groom them!!! Obviously the gesture was meant well to get the dogs done, but it would have definitely been appropriate to call me first to see if I was okay with them transporting the dogs around and bringing them to their personal home. It was just totally unprofessional and odd to make that decision on their own. What if there were a car accident or something happened at their home? It was just too unprofessional for me.Upon returning to pick the dogs up, we were greeted this time by Michael. He asked who we were there for and then answered a call while running my card and handing me the receipt to sign. I was pretty shocked that 2 dogs, both under 15 lbs. Cost $75.00 for just a simple bath and dry. No aromatic shampoo used like our typical groomer, they looked mediocre, and they were still slightly damp which made their ears have crimpy hair, etc. Totally not worth 75.00!!!I own a successful pet sitting business and will definitely spread the word that this place is beyond awful. I have NO idea how they still have their doors open since I myself was cautioned to go there by THREE of my neighbors. The woman is SO rude that it drove me insane for the past 2 days. Hands down worst customer service I have ever received.

Such a beautiful place! The grooming my dog had was so great, very impressive. Will definitely return. A bit expensive but not too much more than other places Ive used.

Staff not friendly. Prices are according to time it takes to groom your dog and they cant accurately estimate the price. PETSMART grooming in Clifton Park is our new go-to.If youre at Pink Dog Parlor, youre paying too much for bad service.

This is a great place to take your dogs and, yes, cats for grooming. Within the same building is a grooming school. Its a family owned operation and they do a spectacular job.

I called and asked to schedule an appt for a puppy haircut and was told I was asking wrong. She asked if Ive been there before and when o answered I have not she told me I didnt think so. I asked why she said that and she told me nobody says puppy hair cut unless its a poodle. Went on to explain the correct terminology. I hung up. Unreal.

My Caoimhe has been using Pink Dog Parlor three times since I adopted her. I love how she smells after visiting and being groomed. They do a FABULOUS JOB! I highly recommend for grooming!

Walked in , turned around & walked right out!!!!! Dog/Pet hair ALLLLL over floor!!!!!! I think there was skin/blood on the one chunk of Matted hair 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Wouldnt eat at a restaurant with food ALL OVER NOR would I get my hair done at a salon that DOESNT SWEEP after clients!!!!! Worst 1st impression !!!!! I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

My dog is a little nervous being groomed but Maxi loves Amanda and comes home beautiful every Time! They are sweet people, And very patient with the pups!

We have been bringing our cat Yoda to Pink Dog for many years for a Lion Cut. Everything about the experience is PERFECT. We highly recommend Pink Dog.

Pink Dog Parlor is EXCEPTIONAL!! We were here on a long term visit and needed to find a good groomer for our little maltese, Jax. How lucky were we to have one minutes from where we were staying!! Our groomer, Jenny was simply the best!! our timid little boy was groomed beautifully and totally relaxed when we picked him up!! Michael & Michelle were delightful and so helpful when we had questions and brought Jax in! There’s no doubt we would use their services again!! Thank you, all!

My Whoodle looks great after getting her grooming. Her hair was so soft and silky. Got lots of compliments on her new hairdo.

We have a fearful dog and Pink is able to groom her without even using a muzzle. She always looks great when shes done.

Horrible customer service. My dog went in and we felt like more of a burden to the staff here than anything. The woman who made the appointment was beyond rude and had a terrible attitude. Pick up was awful and you can’t even tell that anything was done to my dog. We will not come back.

We had our older Springer Spaniel in for a grooming, and they did a wonderful job cleaning him up and making him handsome again. They took their time and gave him the rest he needed in between stages of the grooming. Weve been looking for a good groomer for years, and have actually been doing the job ourselves for quite a while, but age and aching backs have caused us to look again. Well definitely be back when our boy needs it again.

I have taken my 10 year old 5 lb (toothless) Yorkie several times without incident and absolutely loved his cut!!!...Unfortunately our last visit--the owner essentially told me my dog was crate aggressive, needed to be leashed and threw him at me walking away in disgust....I left and called back to the receptionist to tell him how rude & disrepectful she was to me and that the conversation could have been handled in a much more dignified way...no response....very unprofessional on every level

MIKE WAS VERY FRIENDLY and OUTGOING!TOOK CARE OF BOTH OF MY BABIES VERY WELL AND ME. BECAUSE WHEN I LEAVE I HAVE A TENDENCY TO CALL A LOT. BUT, I WASNT THAT BAD THIS TIME BECAUSE MIKE, MADE ME FEEL SO SAFE LEAVING THEM. AND I COULD TELL OVER THE PHONE HE WAS DOING EVERYTHING HE COULD FOR MY OLDER ONE THATS A VERY FINICKY EATER. THE ONLY REASON I DIDNT GIVE IT A 5-STAR IS BECAUSE OF THE REFRIGERATOR. BUT, I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK AND VERY RARELY I GO BACK A SECOND TIME. HONESTLY I WOULD GIVE THEM FOUR AND A HALF OUT OF 5 STARS.

I have seen many, many, many beautiful grooms on my clients dogs come out of the Pink Dog Parlor! As a local professional trainer, I am always on the lookout for the quality that I see consistently come from here. My clients have only spoken highly of this place and I recommend them to dogs owners.

Very disappointed. My husband brought our two pugs today for nail trims. They didn’t ask for any documentation for vaccines for the appointment which is a red flag in my opinion.Our 4yo pug is undergoing cancer treatment right now and this place appeared to be friendly and fun so we thought it would be nice visit for him. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, lesson learned. My husband said the staff was unfriendly, the place was filthy, and he could hear him crying in the back while they trimmed his nails. Won’t be back.

I have been taking our pets to Pink Dog Parlor for several years. They are truly animal lovers and caretakers. In addition, we have always been delighted after each grooming session. Also, while grooming may not be the pets favorite activity, she is always happy to see them. Cant say that for a previous establishment.

Friendly and they care for your pet just as much as you do

This place takes Excellant care of the pets that come there. I have been there , because I am a heating and a.c. tech , they call me if the temp is off slightly in any of the rooms , because they want the animals comfortable.They also never complain about the bill.To be honest , they are such nice people , I feel bad about charging them anything.

I am visiting from Florida and living in the Catskill region for the summer. We needed to find dog boarding for some of our weekend trips north of the Catskills.I do everything by email and appreciated their fast communication regarding the questions I had. I was also able to pay a deposit via PayPal.The first time we picked our dog up he seemed really happy so that made us happy too. We recently picked him up after a second time and he wanted to go back inside instead of in the car!Michael is the owner and whom we were in contact with most. Buddy really seems to like him too.The facility itself is very clean and smells nice. They use natural products which is another benefit of brining your dog there.We are glad that Buddy had two great times there and if we needed to drop him off again we would.

This is a wonderful place to board dogs. The people are caring and friendly. Grooming bis also outstanding.
