Its A Dogs Life Boarding CNY

Manager, Julie, saved our dogs life during a recent boarding stay. We had just adopted our dog a week earlier, when the holidays meant we would have to board her for several days. One day, Julie noticed that our dog wasnt acting like her usual, bouncy, self and texted us immediately. She included pictures and a description of her symptoms. We were unsure of what to do, but Julies quick thinking brought our dog to the emergency vet (with our permission), where we discovered she was having a severe allergic reaction. (NOT Julies fault as she only fed what food/treats we dropped off with the dog). Our dog was able to make a full recovery without any complications, because she received treatment so promptly. Julie stayed with me at the emergency vet the entire time so that she could report details and timeline directly to the vet, and answer any questions that came up. Julie has years of experience with dogs, and if something isnt right about your dog, she will know immediately and react appropriately. We are so grateful.

First time using doggy day care. I have 8 year old rottweiler. We dropped her off at 10 AM. Shot over to the state fair picked up at 8:30 PM. Gerda had a great day. And very reasonably Priced!

My husband and I recently visited Syracuse for a memorial service and called a handful of daycares in the area two days prior, but nobody could accommodate our dog. We needed someone to watch our senior rescue, Charcoal, for extended hours without boarding overnight, just so we could attend the service. Julie was so understanding of our issue and graciously offered to keep the daycare open for a few extra hours just for us. Having never met her or seen the facility, we relied solely on reviews and the first impression on the phone with her. When we dropped Charcoal off, one of the staff members took some info then whisked him away. We felt very comfortable based on the way the facility looked and the staff member handled our sweet boy. When picking him up later, Julie greeted us to tell us he just lied down and she was sitting there with him. She gave us a report for his stay and we chatted for a few minutes before we left. You can tell Julie loves what she does and really loves dogs. Had it not been for her kindness and understanding, I’m not sure how we would have made it to the memorial. I cannot say enough positive things about Its a Dogs Life Boarding. They are friendly, take care of the dogs amazingly, have a super clean establishment, and being able to set everything up online made it super simple and convenient.

It was the first time we ever used a service for our 3 y/o dog. I was very anxious but Julie was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly professional and that gave us comfort and confidence throughout the process. Our dog seemed very happy and relaxed at pickup. Would highly recommend.

Our dog loves her visits and its great knowing shes at a place that takes wonderful care of her. We know she enjoys it because she comes home from every stay completely exhausted from playing with friends and enjoying the outdoor space.

My dog loves going to day care here every week. He gets out of the car and cant get into the building fast enough. Employees who are there when I drop him off are always so nice (even at 6:45 in the morning). My husband also has nice things to say when he picks him up. The pictures are a great addition. I love having the report card at the end of the day to see how my boy did that day with everyone. A face attribute for our boy is he is a very active social butterfly.

Very thankful for this daycare. We love how friendly and interactive the staff are. The facility is beautiful...tons of toys and room to play all day long! Our dog is safe during the day and comes home happy and tired. We love the cam which shows the whole play area. Thank you!

Absolutely the Best! All we have to say to our dog is Do you want to go to Doggy Day Care? He goes crazy! When we arrive he is pulling just to get in the building! Now that in itself tells alot! The facility is clean, they have all kinds of toys and they even play with the pups! Our dog has made many new friends, and so have we!! The staff is always friendly, they treat my dog with so much kindness and love. Julie the owner is amazing. I was at work one night and lost track of time. She called me and brought my dog to me at work! Now if that isnt dedication and kindness!!!

Not sure where these negative reviews come from - this place is awesome. My dog having been to several dog daycares already, I feel Im pretty keen as to the standards at these places, and Its a Dogs Life is far above the rest in their care and attentiveness. Its in the details, like having rubberized/soft floors (not concrete), staff take time to actually engage with your dog (play, show affection, etc), and their is full transparency from the cams you can access. Also a great touch is the online account you can have with them. They upload pics of your little pooch, and even offer a report card. This kind of attention makes all the difference. This isnt one of those crappy concrete dungeons, that is essentially just a place to bring your dog while they monitor them walk around in a pack all day long - this is a facility that provides real attention, and care to your dog... just as you would. You would be doing your dog a disservice bringing them anywhere else.

We are so excited to have such an amazing place to take our dogs for a fun afternoon! I never question that they are safe and well cared for. They both come home exhausted from all the fun theyve had all day. Thank you so much for bringing Its A Dogs Life CNY to our community!

Our Puppy loves it here and the price cant be beat! I love the report card detailing how she behaved during the day. Great place for anybody who wants their dog to have a safe place to romp and they will come home tired.

Dobbys been going to Dogs Life for six months or so. He absolutely loves it there, and is beside himself to get in the door when we arrive. The doggie cam allows me to see whats going on all day long, and I have spent considerable time watching. The staff are vigilant about conflicts between dogs. I saw one complaint saying staff allow aggression between dogs, but thats not true. The fact is that dogs, like people, come with a range of personalities and issues. It would be impossible to anticipate every behavior in advance of it happening. My view is that staff intervene immediately when there is a problem, and work with the animals to facilitate healthy socialization. I dont expect my dog to NEVER experience a moment of conflict with another dog. As for human beings, those interactions are part of life, and help make us strong. Socialization means learning to deal with the bad and the good. Id say 95% of Dobbys experiences at Dogs Life are great. The staff are attentive and affectionate, and he has found many canine friends he loves playing with. Add to that the daily report card (to say how he did) and the photos of his day. The owner couldnt be more accessible, so if you have any question or issue, shes a phone call away. Folks, it doesnt get any better than this.

I give its a dogs life CNY 10 STARS (out of 5) Julie the owner is beyond attentive, caring and professional, she is an angel doggie Mom. The facilities are spacious ultra clean and modern and have a home like down to earth feel The entire weekend we boarded our dog I knew he was well taken care of I will come back again and again. I cant say enough good things about Its A Dogs Life. The people are fantastic and super patient with my dog, the facilities are always clean, and most importantly, my dog cant wait to go back. If youre thinking about daycare for your dog, Its A Dogs Life is an easy decision.

Due to working long hours, having a great place like this to watch my favorite little boy is a God send! He seems to be getting along with the others very well, and the staff seem very attentive and knowledgeable! Cant wait for the grooming center to open up :)

The owners care for the dogs just like they were their children. I applaud them for letting go employees who weren’t abiding by the rules set forth by the doggy day care. You wouldn’t keep a daycare provider for your children if you knew they weren’t following your rules

They allow aggressive dogs to act out toward the others. Its cruel and should NEVER happen. I also dont feel comfortable with mgmt on their phone when they should be taking care of babies!

Great place to bring your best friends for some playtime! My dogs have a blast every time!
