Dans Pet Care - Glen Cove

We brought our 1.5 year old Doberman here for boarding for the 1st time..safe to say she had an absolute blast!!! She is completely exhausted after her stay, we loved the updated pictures and reports cards daily. We will definitely be back for day care, events, and boarding when necessary. Highly recommend especially for people with big breed dogs, they handled it with ease. ❤️

Dans Pet Care is amazing! I’ve done boarding and doggie day care. My pup has a lot of energy and is crate trained so I was worried about the crate free boarding but they went through everything with me and he did great. Everyday whether it’s daycare or boarding I would get a report. The last time I boarded him they gave him a bath and he smelled amazing for a month!They are also magicians because on the luau day they got him in a Hawaiian shirt, I don’t know how but they did and he sat still for the pic. It was amazing!He loves their kiddie pools & the entire staff is so excited to see him everytime he comes. He can be a lot sometimes with his high energy and he fits right in with all the other pups. I’m so grateful for the entire team at Dans Pet Care.

Dans Daycare is no joke THE BEST place for your fur babies! Me and my boyfriend have tried every sitter, every daycare, and nothing compares to Dans! We have a European Doberman and its been hard to find a daycare and boarding center that ACTUALLY know what they are doing! Everyone at Dans knows what they are doing, SO reliable, and treat your dog like their own. I cant say enough amazing things!BIG BENEFIT: Daily report cards with all the cutest photos taken from the day! I mean common! They did a Hawaiian Luau and just look how adorable

After having a very bad experience at Dogtopia with my poor baby Max, I can say I found the perfect place. Max now is happy going to his half-days and little by little his super fear and nervousness is changing. 🙏Joe has provided a lot of help for Max and more than thinking about money he thinks about the well-being of my dog ​​and we are following his recommendations so that Max enjoys his play time- half days at Dans petcare and Soon I know that Max will be ready to spend a full day playing, Julia in front desk is very special with puppys too I love her ☺️All the staff are very friendly and loving with the puppies, I love receiving the report cards and photos of the day, ☺️ thank you everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about Dan’s!!! They have been walking and training my dog ever since she was a puppy and they’re just a total pleasure to work with! They’re kind, compassionate, responsible, and love dogs!!! They not only take good care of her but she’s SOOO excited to see them when they walk through the door! No one could ask for more :)

Dan’s team is fantastic. They’re beyond so friendly and so good to our dog, Beau. He always comes out with a big smile! I think his favorite part is the outdoor area with sprinklers : ) We were so grateful that they toured us around the facility before Beau’s first day and love the daily report cards too.

Dan’s pet care is a gem!!! My dog absolutely LOVES the day care facility, and the walkers who come to visit. This is the most nurturing, fun, safe, happy environment for our fur baby. We love the staff, and the careful and competent , and loving attention they each give to every dog. The daily report cards and photo updates are also amazing! When we drop off Gigi , or rely on Dan’s to visit, we are confident she is in good hands. We LOVE this place!!!

A standout place, especially for the staff. Everyone is so friendly and has a genuine care for the dogs that come to their facility. I’ve never seen them not greet a dog by name. It’s also nice to see that Dan, the owner, is actually there overseeing things. His dog is just as lovely. I also cant recommend their training classes enough. If youre in need of training, definitely look into it!

Since day 1, the staff at Dan’s Pet Care in Glen Cove have been nothing but welcoming & friendly. My pup was greeted with open arms & so much love. Drop off is available at 7 am which is a HUGE help with my work schedule. Late pickup is also available if needed. The process started off sending my pup to a temperament test to see where she would be best during the day. Then once passed, she was okayed to go to day care! The dogs are separated based on size. There’s also an outdoor area for when the nice days come around. Mid-day, you get a report card of how your pup is doing and you also get some pictures! Any special needs, the staff takes into consideration. The staff really seems to really care about each individual dog which makes me feel more than comfortable to send her there. Once she came home, she immediately curled up in her bed & took a nap, she was exhausted from a long day of playing! Will absolutely take advantage of all the great things Dan’s Pet Care has to offer!

We can’t say enough good things about Dan’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is spotless, and they’ve really gone the extra mile for the dogs — pools, luaus, smoothies… the list goes on. :)We’ve been so thrilled with Dan’s but, this weekend, they went WAY above and beyond. Our dog needed medical treatment while boarding. Dan took her to our local vet, got her started with antibiotics, and even offered to take her to his house for the night, so she’d been more comfortable and he could keep an eye. We got updates from Dan and the vet, and our dog is doing great.The takeaway: this crew really, REALLY cares. Dan loves dogs and it shows. And at the end of the day, that’s who you want caring for your pets. We’re so happy to have found Dan’s. I couldn’t recommend anyone or any business more highly. Thank you, Dan and team. I was lucky enough to board my dog Kipper here between Christmas and New Years. She loved it! The staff are amazing, communicative, and considerate. This will be our only daycare and boarding place from now on!

Riley our mini golden doodle has enjoyed her daycare sessions she’s had at Dan’s PetCare. The trainers and handlers are great in taking care of her and making sure she has a great experience socializing when she’s visiting. We especially love the report card and photos after each visit.Riley looks forward to her next stay and play session🐾🐾

I left my senior dog with Dan for an overnight -- he got such special treatment! I couldnt be happier. They will be seeing Eli again soon.UPDATE: Brought Eli Back for a week of boarding, he requires regular medication etc.. I could not be happier with the service weve gotten from Dans Pet Care, I think they take better care of my dog than I do! The staff is so friendly and helpful and they really seem to care about the pets in their care. Eli will most certainly be back!!

My pup loves going to Dan’s for daycare. She always comes home exhausted but very happy. It gets her socialized and lots of good exercise. We love Dan’s. We also use their dog walking services. All of their employees are wonderful people.

Dan’s Pet Care is truly one of a kind. We have been with Dan’s for almost year, from the time we got our puppy. We have used the dog walking service ( the whole team is AMAZING… Celine and our pup Emi have a special bond. We have also working with the trainers Curt at our home to help teach Emi and us the basics and how to work together. At Daycare Stephanie, the head trainer, has gone above and beyond to listen to my concerns and help reinforce Emi’s training (and me too, be patience and keep at it).The entire daycare staff is kind caring and love Emi like we do!Dan, the owner, and his team continue to create memories for our pup Emi and our family! We were naturally a little anxious about leaving Jack, our 7-month-old Bully mix, for a week, knowing we wanted to get the same dog back that we left with Dans. After seven days of WONDERFUL report cards we picked up Jack. He slept for about 15 hours the next day and we were concerned that he was sick. He wasnt. A day later he was back to normal and a day after that he met our grandchildren and they had a ball playing together.

I have used Dans Pet Care for my Goldendoodle Hercules. The dog walkers are excellent, and Hercules is so excited to see them. I have also used the boarding service, and again, my dog comes home happy and contented.

Everyone here is friendly, patient, and caring. Bluey absolutely loves it there. The trainers Kurt and Stephanie are great! Putting in tons of training with Bluey, detailing what has been done and what I can do to keep up with Blueys training while there for Daycare. The owner Dan has cared for Bluey personally while there for boarding. Thats great leadership to me and it shows when everyone is just as helpful!

We’re so thankful for Dan’s Pet Care and love the whole team—the daycare handlers, walkers, and trainers—everyone is so kind and helpful and truly cares about the dogs and their families. They’ve helped my nervous and shy puppy come out of her shell and become a social butterfly. The facility is clean and safe and we trust that our pup is in great hands all day long. They’ve set a new standard for new doggy daycare and we can’t recommend them enough!

Dans Pet Care provides a wonderful dog walking service! They are professional and very responsive to last minute requests. They obviously love dogs and love what they do.

We are new to Dan’s pet care. I have to say the staff is wonderful. Eddie (my dog) is excited to go and play with his friends. The staff is equally excited to have him. We get a kick out of the report card and photos after every visit. The facility is clean and friendly. Can’t say enough fantastic things about Dan’s!

I recently took my French Bulldog, Otis, to Dans pet Cares new Glen Cove facility and was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and service we received. The staff was extremely attentive and caring, ensuring Otis was comfortable and engaged throughout his stay. I was greeted by very friendly staff when I walked in. I had a tour of the facilities. which were clean and well-maintained, providing what I believed to be a safe and fun environment for all the pets, including Otis. What stood out to me was the indoor fields and grooming stations they had. I highly recommend DPC to any pet owner looking for a reliable and top-quality daycare service in the glen cove area. Otis and I will definitely be returning!

It’s always nice to know that your pet is being taken care of by a company who is great at what they do, but it’s even better to know that the people love what they do and genuinely care about your pet!!! Under Dan’s leadership, the team of Dan’s Pet Care is just incredible and leaves me with the confidence of knowing that my pet will be well cared for AND have fun. I was so pleased with my experience at Dan’s. My sweet pup was happy and well cared for. The staff is wonderful, and the communication was outstanding. In the pictures they sent my dog looked so happy. I will definitely be bringing her back.

Whatever instructions I left were followed well, but it appeared the person walked both dogs together, which couldn’t have been easy! My bad for not specifying individual walks, kind of assumed that would happen🤷🏻‍♀️…results seemed find and we were thankful.

I have used Dan’s pet care for training of Riley, my Sheepadoodle. I couldn’t wait for Dan’s facility to open. Riley was (#1) puppy at the opening🥇. She had so much fun and I just can’t say enough about the staff. EXCELLENT! Dan was there for Riley’s first day. The place is beyond clean, secure and perfect location!! Kesa and I went to the new Glen Cove facility for a temperament assessment (before being able to do dog daycare or boarding). The fact Dan’s does assessments is a huge positive! It’s a well thought out clean space with a number of separate play areas and a decent sized outdoor pad. The trainers are awesome (which I already knew…hi Stephanie! But glad to meet more of them). I’m looking forward to using them when needed for Kesa.

When it comes to finding someone to take care of my dog I take it very seriously! Dan and his team do an excellent job with the dogs in their care while making the process of using their services as streamlined as possible. You can tell the team genuinely loves the animals they care for. Highly reccomend!

We had a great experience boarding our dog for three nights. We received photos and a report each day and communication with the staff was excellent. This is definitely a great new option for your dog!

Hi, I moved back to New York after living in Delaware for 10 years.. I had great daycare there, it was like a cruise ship. Hudge and everyday there was some sort of theme or activity. The people there loved my dog and she went there from 6 months old. So, I was very unhappy to find there weren’t as many good daycares in New York. I checked out all the ones I could find and I was not impressed several of them smelled so bad I couldn’t even enter. I ended up putting her in Dogtopia it was clean enough but the people were not really dog people. My dog was sad every day I took her there. There was no free play, a lot of discipline when they were just trying to play. I was very sad she was confused. Then I went to my vet at West Hills in Huntington and they suggested I check you out. I knew as soon as we walked in it was the right place. My dog was wagging her tail and pulling to get in. The people there were true dog people very affectionate and happy to see her.She loves it there and so do I. I drive all the way from Mount Sinia but I don’t care, she is happy!Thank you so much for being so good at what you do❤️.
