House of The Woofers

House of the Woofers is the most pawsome place in the universe. I have been going there since I was a pup and it is always great fun. My mom says it’s the only daycare that she trusts. I really like climbing on the playset, seeing my friends and getting belly rubs. I don’t like leaving playtime to get my nails cut but my mom says it’s for my health and I do always feel better after a pedicure. My mom really likes watching their Instagram stories and seeing pictures of me with my friends. Sometimes if my mom is working late, they’ll even drive me home in the pet taxi. I’m really excited to show off my costume at the Halloween party in a few weeks. If your a dog thinking about daycare, this is the spot. Other than the couch, this is paws down, my favorite place! 🐾

Our Braxton loves going to House of The Woofers! From the moment we enter the parking lot, he is excited and ready to play with his friends! Alan and his staff is dedicated to making sure your dog is safe and has lots of fun! We appreciate them so much!

I brought Baba for the first time to do a meet & greet with other dogs for when we need daycare services. The staff were kind and professional- you can tell that they love the dogs. They asked excellent questions about Baba and introduced each dog he met with info about its personality, carefully noting how they interacted.Dao asked many questions about what I wanted done for Baba- very specificly because she wanted to make sure she understood exactly what to do. She groomed Baba perfectly and wanted to make sure that I was happy with the results before we left. She also noted specific things that I should know - like a small irritation he had and explained exactly which services were performed. I was very impressed- a lot of people had recommended this place and they were right!

House of the Woofers is the easiest choice weve made in regards to our puppy. The owner of the business is incredibly knowledgeable about all things dog. He also knows the dogs that he cares for - their personalities, their health issues - as if the dogs were his own. From our first experience meeting the other puppies, to our continued daycare and boarding at Woofers, everything has been easy and reasonably priced. Most importantly, I also know that our pup is safe and well-cared for. She LOVES going to Woofers.I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for doggy daycare, boarding, or grooming.

This place is the best! We’ve been bringing our puppy there since she was 4 months old and she loves it! She get excited every time we get there, runs right in. Everyone we’ve dealt with is super nice, very professional and really seems to care about all the dogs.

My dog goes here for boarding and grooming and they do the best job. For Christmas they did a whole photo shoot and got presents! Great caring staff.

Weve been trusting House of Woofers for years now, whenever we go on vacation. They are the best and our Standard Schnauzer Jackie loves his time when he stays. He has had stays as long as 6 weeks and we have always felt comfortable leaving Jackie with Alan and team.

I can not say enough nice things. When my family used to live in Glenn Cove, we used Alan and his services for dog walking. Our GSD is a tougher dog. Alan was amazing. He even got our dog to walk in a pack and that was a big deal. When we moved we were so sad to leave Alan. They started grooming and we sent our dog. Just wow. He has gone a couple of times and each time I am so happy for them and their services. I am so incredibly grateful for them. Before the bath, they realize that our dog was stressed and actually took him on a walk to calm him down, the fact that they noticed this really shows their attention to detail and professionalism.

I started with The House of The Woofers because I needed the convenience of the pet-taxi, but got so much more! My pup loves going, and gets super excited when the taxi pulls up. I know shes so busy having fun during the day as I get to watch videos of her every visit. Alan and his team have been so kind with her and helpful and flexible with me, and my work schedule. As a working mom, its a great feeling to know she has a second home to go to. They are also on top of things assuring me that all their dogs are staying healthy. Their communication with the pet owners has been wonderful, always putting this HOW mom at ease.

Alan is wonderful with my dog Lexi. He comes to my house to give her walks while we are at work. He sends us photos of his time with her so we can see how her walk went. It’s also a little nerve wracking to give someone the key and access to your house but Alan and his team are professionals and very trustworthy. I highly recommend House of the Woofers. My dog is so happy and well exercised after her walks.

House of Woofers is an absolute gem for our dog, Clark! Weve been taking him here for the past year, and it has become his absolute favorite place to go. The moment we are within 200 feet of Woofers, Clark starts crying with excitement because he cant wait to see his friends and play!Alan and his team are phenomenal at what they do. Absolutely love it here. The staff are amazing and care about each every dog. My dog can’t wait to get inside and play with her friends. I enjoy the doggy events they have had for Easter, Mother’s Day and the 4th of July. I would definitely recommend.

I take my 5 dogs to House of the Woofers for grooming. They do an outstanding job. My Pomeranians and Longhaired Dachshund are groomed to perfection. They are trimmed precisely while maintaining their beautiful coats, which is so important for a double coated breed. And they smell so good. I highly recommend!

We left our dog here for 2 weeks and did not have one worry. Matteo loves being there more than anything, as long as they have the blue ball that he loves! We would recommend House of Woofers to everyone!

House of the Woofers are the single best groomers we have ever been to. We have a 2 year old 100+ pound German Shepherd (Lupo) and they handle him so amazingly well. Without fail, Lupo comes home looking and smelling amazing, but most importantly he is always in a great mood and never scared or anxious from the grooming. He loves going to grooming. The staff is super friendly and caring. Thank you for all you do for Lupo!

House of The Woofers is honestly, the only daycare I trust with my best friend Honey.Honey can’t wait to get there in the morning, she hops right out of the car and is eager to go inside to see her friends. All of their staff is super friendly and welcoming.Their Instagram stories are a fun way to see what Honey’s up to and it totally makes my day. Plus, their taxi service is a lifesaver. Work keeps me late sometimes, and knowing they’ve got drop-off covered is a huge relief.They’re super attentive too. Once, they spotted a weird lump on Honey and let me know ASAP, which just shows how much they care. They even trim Honey’s nails during her stay, saving me a trip to the groomer.House of The Woofers is more than just a daycare – it’s a place where Honey gets love, fun, and even a bit of pampering. Totally recommend it to any dog parent!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My dog Gracie LOVES going to Camp as we call it. Alan and Dau are amazing and if Gracie even hears one of their names she goes crazy. They truly love her and all the pups that go to visit them. Gracie goes there for full day daycare, boarding as well as grooming and all services and interactions with them as well as the entire staff have been stellar. Dao (I think I am spelling her name correctly) is an amazing groomer! After Teddy gets groomed, he is so soft and smells delicious. This is a wonderful place that truly cares about the well-being of your pups! I can’t wait to start taking him for doggy daycare soon!

I am very happy to have found this business after moving here a year ago! I have had nothing but the best experience and so has my beloved baby, my mini golden doodle. Abigail has been her groomer since our first visit and she is wonderful. She cares for my little girl and in turn Hoku responds so well to her.

The House of the Woofers is spectacular! They are wonderful with my dog and with me. And you can count on them for their flexibility, caring for your dog, and their pet taxi.

Very rude the guy who works there. Very expensive if you want your dog groomed by them and it must be at their convenience. Called multiple times , and they never seem to have anything available for my golden doodle. They are selective about who they groom. Ditch this place and go to PetSmart at Glen cove. We couldn’t be happier. They are so professional and kind. Very patient, and always available. You get a spot the same day you call. Did I mention it’s half the price of house of woofers.

House of the woofers is Hugos favorite place.Hes ready to leap out of the car as soon as we pull in the parking lot, not wanting to waste any of his playtime.Allan and th staff is so kind and friendly and helpful.Love the fact that Hugo can go to day care and get groomed in the same place.

Terrible service. The front desk guy who I believe is the owner is very rude, and condescending. We told him our dog is in the process of training for becoming a service dog and he said we have a long way to go in a rude manner. We called multiple times for boarding and grooming and they never seem to have space for our dog, however they seem to always have space for our neighbors dog. If they don’t like you they will not take care of you. Not friendly, and very expensive. We have since been taking our dog to PetSmart in Glen cove. Service is great, they always have room and it’s half the price of house of woofers. Ditch this place and go to petsmart.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. At PetSmart they even give you a written report of everything they did to your dog during the service. The groomers there are very professional.

Weve been customers for almost 4 years. They do daily dog walks as well as grooming. They also serve as an emergency life-line for days when we get stuck and cant get home in time to let our 4-legged baby out or feed her. I would recommend them to anyone (and have)!

I love House of the Woofers and would recommend them to anybody! My dog gets so many compliments on his walks and he truly looks like a show dog. He also smells great, they really wash him thoroughly. I love that he can get little spa treatments like the blueberry facial. The groomers and staff are very friendly and professional. They take their time to ensure your pup looks picture perfect when you pick them up 🐶 I can’t say enough good things about them.

Our two dogs stayed at the House of the Woofers for a week and had a blast. The owners posted pictures daily and we never had to worry if the pups were having a good time or not. We’ll definitely be back.Edit: Our dogs stayed at the House of Woofers a second time and they had just as much fun as they did the first time. The staff made sure our dogs took their meds, and when we forgot the meds at the House of Woofers when picking up the dogs at the end of their stay, the owner was very nice to bring it to our house so our dog wouldn’t miss a dose.

I was nervous to bring my 12 yr old French bulldog for a bath and nail trim because it was her first time! Weve Always done it at home before. We had a great experience. Abigail was so nice and asked a lot of questions about our dog. We got a txt to tell us when to pick her up. We picked up a happy, clean dog! Abigail did a great job and the price was reasonable. We will definitely go back!

I was considering boarding my dogs at the vet but I felt bad that they’d be in crates all day everyday. So I found House of Woofers on google. They were conveniently located in our neighborhood, had great reviews and offered pet sitting services. I am so grateful for the care they provided to our Great Dane and hot dog while we were away. They were able to stay in the comfort of their own home and be well taken care of. They were walked & fed and given toys to play with. This place is wonderful, I cannot recommend them enough.

House of Woofers gives my Pomeranian fantastic haircuts! He looks like a show dog when they are done with him. They are very friendly, there is a cute little boutique inside. After a couple of times taking my pup there I am comfortable to try their pet sitting or dog walking services. Definitely recommend

Over the past 2 years, Alan and his team have taken such great care of our goldendoodle, Remi. From daycare to boarding to grooming, they are the best around! Love that they post videos throughout the day and are able to see how happy Remi is. Cannot recommend enough!

I can’t be anymore happy with House Of Woofers!!!! We rescued our Dog Daisy 4 1/2 years ago - she was 8 and now she is 12 1/2- we were never able to go anywhere always needed our kids to come back home to take care of her she never trusted or was friendly with new people!!! But then we met Alan - after talking on the phone and explaining our situation he made a visit to the house to see Daisy!!! After trying to come into the house to meet her she was not having it - so we did the meet outside went for a walk with her / along the way we switched the leash to have Alan handle her and she immediately trusted and loved him!!! He was able to handle her , feed her , play and even enter the home!!! Truly amazed we were how Daisy took to him and his gentle nature!!! Alan also had 2 of his workers come also to meet Daisy and proceeded same way to meet her outside - go for a walk switch the leash and the rest is history !! We can’t thank Hector and Dennis enough for taking care of Our sweet girl!!!! It’s not easy to come into a home where a dog is sooo protective but they all made it happen and we’ve gone from not being able to really go anywhere for long periods of time to being able to enjoy a few nights away knowing that Daisy was in great hands!!! Updates for each walk and time spent are recorded on the App along with pictures and videos so we can see how she is doing and if any concerns come up Alan will call us just to be sure all is great!!!! We are truly grateful to Alan and his crew for making dog parenting a bit easier!!!!

Its been awhile since my boy has gone to daycare, but he had gone a few times and when we pull up to the door, he is crying to get out! He comes home tired, tail wagging and happy! Alan and his team are well equipped and knowledgeable to handle all breeds. I have no qualms about sending my guy there for the day. SO much so that when I have to be out of town for a few days I know that I am leaving him in great hands!

My dog Poochie is a senior dog and was now getting aggressive when it came to cutting her hair. After being turned around from many vet clinics and pet salons, we came across house of woofers. I am happy to say after months of not being able to get Poochie groomed, Alan and his team were able to do it! I was so happy, I could cry. I have now a new place to take Poochie and will always reccomend this place! 10/10!

Alan and his wife are amazing people and very good at their profession. Alan has been walking and caring for Madison since she was only 8 months old, she is now 6 years old. We take our 4-yr old Havapoo to House of the Woofers which has been helping her to become better socialized. Before, she was very distrustful of anyone but a few family members. Now she plays with other dogs and lets staff members put a leash on her and take her for a walk. It’s a great find for doggie day care!

Alan is the absolute best! I cannot express how grateful we are to have found Alan and House of the Woofers. Alan is extremely knowledgeable of dog behavior and has this way with dogs that is hard to explain. Our one year old, Otto, has been going to House of the Woofers since we adopted him and when we pull into Alans driveway, he cries and cannot control his bladder...thats how excited he is to be there. He might love Alan more than he loves us haha.We follow House of the Woofers on IG and get to see Otto running around/playing will all of his friends - he has the time of his life. Alan takes the dogs for multiple leashed walks/hikes a day and has a great backyard where they can all play. All I can say is, we will be lifelong clients of Alans and will never leave Otto with anyone else while we are away! House of the Woofers truly is his home away from home. Highly highly recommend!

I cannot recommend House of Woofers enough. In addition to being consummate professionals, the care they give my dog is outstanding. My dog loves being picked up three days a week and gets great social time with his doggo friends and plenty of exercise. Hunter, being a Vizsla, needs tons of exercise and social play. He is a happier dog because of his time spent with House of Woofers! Thanks guys, Hunter loves you!

Our dog Dundie LOVES spending time at House of the Woofers. He is always pooped when he comes back to us - we also like that he gets indoor AND outdoor play time, especially when we go on longer vacations. We also love watching him and the other pups on the Instagram stories!

This is the best doggie day care ever!!! My husky, Blu loves going. He must have a great time because if I say the word daycare he literally starts jumping for joy. The price is reasonable too. I also had him bathed and shedded here. They did a great job.

Our dogs had baths and their nails cut, and they are wonderfully clean and fluffy and smell good. They are six and nearly 12 years old. They have never had better baths in their lives.

I recently started using House of Woofers when I needed someone to let my dogs out while I was at work. This was the first time I needed to use a walker (usually family helps) so I was a little nervous about how my dogs would be with someone new. I learned my dog Teddy gets a little scared and defensive when someone he doesn’t know comes to the house when he is alone but Alan did a great job working on building trust with him. He was very calm and patient with Ted and gave him his space when needed. Ted tends to pee when he is scared but Alan made sure to thoroughly clean up any mess which was greatly appreciated. I was sent a little summary of how each visit went with pictures so I could see his progress. Alan also took the time to introduce Ted to another walker and in case he was unavailable in the future which was nice given Ted’s distrust of new people. Alan was very easy to communicate with, prices were fair and payment through the app was seamless. Although I was nervous at first, after my experience I feel very comfortable using House of Woofers again and would recommend them to anyone needing visiting services. Happy to find a local place that is reliable and trustworthy.

Our Schnauzer was there for about 6 weeks and we felt so comfortable the whole time he was there. Jackie had a great time and was very well looked after. Would definitely take him back!

Very unprofessional. We had planned a meeting 2.5 weeks in advance. He called us 5 mins after our meeting time to tell us they the distance was too far for him to travel… which is very strange considering he had our address 2.5 weeks in advance and could have google mapped the distance. Now I am left without a sitter last minute for my puppy. Would not choose them for any of your needs… they couple flake last minute.

Such an attentive crew - I could not use the boarding services and cant evaluate that because they do not board senior dogs, but they were very helpful in trying to accommodate my dog by providing references.

Went in to meet with Alan.. was impressed with his knowledge and the time he spent with my dog.. because of an injury he agreed with my vet that we should wait til completely healed.. but look forward to bringing a Elijah down there for daycare!!

I hate to give away this best kept secret but this place is fabulous. My husky loves going to daycare. I cant say the word daycare without setting off a howling session. He gets sooo excited

Alan and Dao are amazing! They are a wealth of knowledge and are great with our three German Shepherds. Dao is an amazing dog groomer as well.

House of woofers is amazing, it has significantly improved my dogs, river and Blake’s life. They even throw parties for the dogs on holidays and birthdays. And on their instagram they post pictures and videos of your dogs, 5 Star daycare

Fritz received a really good haircut and grooming. He also enjoyed playing with his friends at doggy daycare today.

Do not call this place if you have a chihuahua. They will not take them for day care or boarding. My daughter works for an animal hospital and she said they clearly have inexperienced staffers.

My dog loves to go to House of Woofers. The people are great with dogs (and people). The grooming is terrific too. I use the daycare, boarding and grooming. My dog runs in, and his happy and healthy when he comes home.

My dog absolutely can’t wait to get out of the car to get into House of the Woofers each time he goes there. Matteo loves Alan, Dao and everyone else there. We love the fact that they care and are so responsible with our baby.
