Chris is a wonderful trainer! Geo was such an aggressive and reactive dog, and nobody wanted to work with him. He was crate aggressive, and could not be anywhere near strangers. After three weeks of training with Chris I can say that he no longer has any of these problems. Along with this he is also very well mannered and more relaxed all thanks to Chris!

My 7 month old lab puppy completed the two week obedience/off-leash program. He came home more confident, the main issues I struggled with were resolved and both my dog and I have a great set of tools to keep training from home. Initially nervous having my pup away for two weeks but the program worked perfect. The one on one training with Chris was the most valuable. Incredible understanding of dog behavior and also human. Easily explained how I could make training more successful. My dog and I look forward to working together. He is well mannered for a 9 month old, 85 pound pup and our level of trust with one another builds daily. I can’t thank Chris and his staff enough. It’s very rewarding “letting the leash go” And the calmness it’s brought to my house not having an over reactive dog is amazing. Less barking, walks without pulling or tugging, handles himself around other dogs and minds his own business. No avoiding other dogs or difficult situations like I did previously. I highly recommend his services. The properties are well kept, clean and conveniently located on Grand Island. Chris is responsive to questions and inquiries. I plan to use his boarding and training services ongoing.

We highly recommend Chris for any dog training needs! Our 8 month old dog, Ruby, was proving tough to break with leash walking, jumping, and overall manners. With 2 other dogs who arent perfect, family walks were nearly impossible to do, or when attempted ended quickly in frustration. After a week with Chris she is a completely different dog in a good way! Well-behaved and seems to have a new confidence. We went on our first walk today and had several distractions (mailman, other dogs, squirrels)but she never pulled away once. Chris takes the time to teach you everything your dog learned and makes sure you have the tools to stick with the good behavior. We are very pleased with Ruby!

Chris worked with our puppy after we were unable to get him to calm down around our toddler and small children. After weeks of nibbling and jumping we were exhausted and started training with Chris. We dropped our pup off for the week and picked him up a completely different pup. We are now able to allow our toddler to play with the dog as well as having confidence in his basic manners at home. So very thankful for all the communication and how much time was invested into our pup. Definitely won’t go anywhere else for any other training needs!

I couldn’t be happier with Chris Fiels and his staff, and would highly recommend them! I have a 5-yr old frenchie who HAD a host of behavioral issues. (He used to lunge and snap at other dogs and people on the street. He would also attack skateboards, walking canes, rolling luggage, brooms, etc whenever they were near). Essentially, he had extreme fear aggression and would attack anything that made him feel threatened. I had worked with several behavioral vets over the years and Milo’s behavioral issues only worsened. Then I heard about Chris Fiels and decided to try one more trainer (for both Milo and myself). After a 6-week rehab program this summer, Milo is a totally different dog! He no longer lunges at anyone or anything. He heels, comes on command, and responds the way I had always hoped he could, with very little correction required on my part. He is clearly much happier than in the past and so am I. I COULD NOT RECOMMEND CHRIS MORE HIGHLY! HE IS TRULY THE BEST!!

Chris and his staff have been absolutely wonderful with my dog Jack. He was a very fearful and anxious puppy. He now has much more confidence - especially in unfamiliar places and walks extremely well on and off his leash! Highly recommend everyday K9. Its hard to say goodbye to your pup for a week or two but it was for his benefit not just my own. Not only did Chris help train Jack but he trained me too!

Christopher was instrumental in helping our beloved pup assimilate to his new home. He had quite a few behavioral issues when we first adopted but within a few weeks under Chris’ guidance he came right around! YourEveryDayK9 is a professional and truly cares about every animal he trains. I would totally recommend him to anyone looking for some help as a dog owner or just for some 1 on 1 lessons. Thank you Chris!

I could not be more appreciative of Chris and his staff. When I dropped off Zuko, a 9 month old German Shepard mix from the spca, I was nearly in tears because this was my last resort. Zuko was jumping on me and incessantly biting my arms, charging me for hours on end leaving me with bite marks, scratches, bruises over my arms and legs.. 1 week with Chris and his staff and Zuko hasn’t bitten or charged me once and the jumping has been a bare minimum. Not only did he come home with manners, but he came home with a strong foundation and excellent skills to continue to improve on. I’m so grateful for the service! On top of the dogs behavioral improvement the follow up after is impeccable- Chris will answer any question I have and has been able to help us keep working hard on improvement!

My high energy, dominant, stubborn mix had become a little bit too much for my family after my wife transitioned to stay home with our 2 young children. Our life situation had changed and our oldest dog Nero didnt like falling behind the kids in the attention order. He always had his quirks but nothing that altered daily life much. For example wed avoid the barking by vacuuming when he was outside. However, his quirks became unmanageable for my wife during the day. She had to worry about how Nero would act every move she made. For example, simply letting him in from outside was frustrating. He would nudge her and growl until she left the room. Feeding him became a challenge for myself as well with constant growling while trying to rush me out of the room.I have known Chris a long time, but it was time he met my problem child (dog). My wife and I realized we had created this behavior by allowing his little quirks to continue directly and indirectly, but with two kids under two we needed Chris help. We started at your everyday k9 for an assessment on how to work on elimating these unwanted behaviors. The vacuum cleaner, hair blow dryer, garbage bags, and ceiling fans were just some of the triggers for Nero. Chris showed me how to essentially negate the negative attention on the trigger object by rewarding Nero for his attention on me, or by making the stressful moments fun. For example, by playing tug while my wife vacuumed.Things were going well for a time, but then we became comfortable again and Nero nipped my wife when I was out of town, and we had had enough. I contacted Chris about a possible rehoming situation as much as it pained me to do, but I couldnt worry about what Nero would do the next time I wasnt home. Chris came over that week and we went over some of the original techniques, but added some e-collar training. Chris helped eliminate and set expectations with Nero that my wife and I had struggled with for weeks in just a couple of hours! Whether it was a combination of his calm and assertive energy or simply being a new leader for Nero, Nero knew there would be no tolerance for misbehavior. It was like he was a different dog, the dog we missed for some time. It had been so long since we had seen him behave or actually just relax without being on edge, it was such a relief. Thanks to Chris and your everyday k9, Nero will continue to grow with our family.
