They don’t bother to tell you you’re only welcome if you’re a resident of Harrisonburg until you get there. This veteran is not impressed with “Veteran Memorial Park”

This is not a dog park. Its a rather small (5000ish sq ft) park that would be perfectly pleasant to have lunch in on an early spring day, but theres no area for dogs, Im not sure how it got classified as such in Google. The photos must be very out of date too, as theres now a playground in one corner.

Not a dog park. There’s a small park in the general area but it’s a playground with a patch of grass nearby that isn’t fenced or designed for dogs. The google maps pin is actually pointed at a municipal building and an mta station.

The fenced dog area is decently sized and overall a wonderful place! However, it’s a bit unclear where the dog section is.

The space for dogs was very ugly, I didnt like it, that park seems more family-friendly than dog-friendly.
