Amber is an amazing & caring groomer. She takes the time to listen to exactly what style you prefer and executes it perfectly each time. My dog has sensitive skin and a couple of medical issues I need to keep an eye on. She will even follow up with me to make sure she’s doing ok or remind me of treatments to make sure she can give optimal services. Definitely worth it! :-)

So happy with my dog’s first grooming at Grooms by Amber! My dog’s wire coat cannot be shavedand must be hand stripped, which is an extremely time consuming and arduous task. Katie did a fantastic job and I’m so thrilled with the result. So happy to have found a true professional who not only does a great job but is also a lovely person. Thank you!

Hands down the worst groomer I have ever brought any of my 4 dogs to. Took my 10 month old puppy to get groomed for the second time by Amber. Upon picking him up, I was informed that an injury might have occurred to his eye due to her having muzzled him since he became distressed while she tried to detangle his coat. However, she stated that it was unlikely since she did not notice anything after checking the eye. Two hours later, my dog was unable to open his right eye, which was also swollen, red and exuding discharge. Concerned, I took him to the emergency vet where he was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer and placed on topical antibiotics, pain medication and placed in a cone for 1 week. The vet also informed me that these injuries progress very quickly and are extremely painful, so she was very happy that I brought my dog in quickly. After informing Amber about what had happened to my dog while under her care, I was extremely surprised when she responded with hostility stating that the dog had done it to himself and that she was not responsible. She also reminded me that I signed an agreement prior to having my dog groomed. Upon review of this agreement, it became clear that as per policy she was supposed to stop the groom and call me if the dog became distressed, a danger to himself or others. Due to her failure to follow her own policy, my dog was injured. It has been over two weeks and she has not reached out to her insurance to help cover any vet fees nor has she offered any sort of refund for the service, in fact, she has completely stopped responding to my emails. It is clear by her actions that she does not truly care about the well-being of the pets that are under her care and simply cares about the money she is being paid. Please be cautioned in entrusting her with your beloved furry family members.

I’m so happy I took my dog, Mika, to get groomed at Grooms By Amber! Mika’s stylist, Katie, was very accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and talented! She made me feel very ate ease leaving my dog there to get pampered. Her work was GREAT and my dog looks so pretty. Katie even gave some recommendations for general doggie care, which was appreciated on my end as I am a first time dog mama! Will definitely be returning when Mika is in need of a groom. Skylar never looked so beautiful!! Amber did such an amazing job with his haircut—the best one he’s ever had! It was so difficult to find a groomer that was one on one and I’m so glad we found Amber. Skylar is an extremely anxious dog and does not do well in being placed in a kennel and Ambers care with him was above and beyond. He loved her! You won’t regret bringing your pup here!

I had my first visit with Amber and she was very patient with my anxious dachshund. She asked me a lot of questions about my dog to ensure his needs were met. She did a great job bathing and giving him a cut. He even let her trim his nails which is usually a hard task. So happy I was recommended to Grooms by Amber, I am a satisfied customer and definitely will be returning. 😁

Delightful experience. They only have one dog in the shop at a time, so my pup was never left in a crate to air dry or whatever some bigger shops do. Katie listened carefully to what I wanted and did a great job. Dog left happy and wagging. What more could you ask for?

Our 12 yr old CKCS was perfectly coifed and happy after his first grooming with Amber. She was was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely at ease leaving our elderly little guy with her. We will definitely be back!

Amber did a wonderful job grooming our Aussiedoodle Oliver. He can be difficult at times and is afraid of the dryer but Amber was patient and kind, Oliver seemed to really like her. We are very pleased with the service.

Amber was absolutely fantastic! Our pup was pretty matted and she did not shave him down like most groomers would. Instead she took the time to cut him shorter where needed and seamlessly blend it with the rest of the cut. Highly recommend! We will be going back :)

After I had surgery my little dog was very matted. I found Amber on line and read all her great reviews. She did a fantastic job on even checked on everything and gave me a full report. My dog looks beautiful and behaved very well because its obvious that Amber cares about the dogs. Recommend her very highly... feel lucky to have found her.

I have used both Leslie and Katie and both are great. They do an amazing job on my little dog. I definitely recommend Grooms by Amber. I should also mention they now offer Mobile Grooming which is super convenient. I can’t wait to try that service and update my review

Leslie did a great job on my rambunctious 65 lb labradoodle. Like that it’s only one or two dogs at a time. It is as stress free as possible.

Let me begin by saying: if you have an anxious dog this is the place for you. And if that anxious dog happens to be a big dog, look no further. I have a 5 year old, 73lb golden retriever who is very anxious and has gone to countless groomers to no avail. I was so worried that I’d never be able to find him a groomer that truly loved animals, & had the patience to groom him despite his anxiety until I found Amber. I feel so lucky to have stumbled across her business here on google because without her my dog wouldn’t have the healthy beautiful skin and coat he has now. Both her and her team do an amazing job with my dog and I always feel safe leaving him there. I always come back to a happy, wagging tail dog. She is amazing and I will recommend her to everyone every single time! Thank you Amber.

Amber did a great job with my Sheltie. He is shy with strangers and he warmed up to her very quickly, as she was very sweet to him. She was even able to get out the matting behind his ears, which he wouldnt normally let anyone touch.

We love Amber! My Golden, Zuppa, has a high maintenance coat and he always comes home looking so handsome but not overworked. We are devoted to Amber!

I have a fairly new Little poodle/ rescue girl . She is from Korea..She’s a bit timid and has some trust issues .. Maisy has been to Grooms by Amber twice now . Amber is so sweet and loving toward Maisy and I know Maisy can just feel it . I highly recommend Amber for all of your pet grooming needs .

Paid $107 and groom was cancelled after 30 mins saying my dog was overly aggressive and would need to be sedated by a vet. I’ve never had any problems before so I picked him up immediately and was charged full price for essentially a wash which I thought was excessive. My dog is barely 6lbs so this really should have been easy

Today I had the pleasure of bringing my senior citizen Maltese Charlie for a total grooming service with Amber. This was our first time using Amber. I had read the reviews that other people had written and knew she was what I was looking for. Since Charlie is almost 13 and only 5 pounds she saw us first in the day!! His anxiety is usually high so not being held in a cage or having other dogs barking was such a plus!! He was done quickly and perfectly!! So glad we found Amber and I highly recommend her. Looking forward to our next visit.

Grooms by amber is like a second home for my lil puppy Mya. From sweet care, to great hygiene and amazing hair cuts my puppy always comes out of there looking and feeling like a million bucks . The owner amber and her staff are super professional and very punctual with the time frames they give . Wish I could give more than 5 stars but 5 is the max
