I cannot describe how much my dog Leo loves this place. I just came back from a long trip, and he spent 12 days at Barkgata. Bianca and all the staff are incredible, caring and loving. With closed eyes I recommend this amazing place. Thank you Barkgata for taking care of mu boy so many times!!!

We used the Barkgata for our wedding and we cant stop raving about how amazing they were. When we decided to get married we knew we wanted our dog as part of our big day. We arent from the area and the Barkgata came highly recommended from our friends and we now know why. We booked the wedding package where they got our boy ready, brought him to the venue and also took content and put together the most adorable video that same night! He spent the night there and we didnt have to worry one bit about him being cared for. Bianca was OUTSTANDING and so hands on with him from making sure he was walked, given water and happy and smiling while we took photos. We hope anyone looking for doggy daycare, boarding or wanting their fur baby as a part of their big day in the Suffolk area will look no further than the Barkgata. Thank you again!

We love sending our boy here! Boarding a 100lb dog can be challenging between his breed and size alone. Barkgata always takes the best care of him. He’s always so happy to go and doesn’t seem stressed at all when we get him back! Pricing is great. The staff is so sweet as well. The only boarding/day care spot we trust ❤️.

Traumatizing, exhausting, and painful experience. Brought my dog back for a haircut as this was his second time here. They called me and said he will be ready in 15 minutes. Got there and she had me pay as I paid and tipped well. Then was waiting a half hour and knew something was wrong. Brought my dog out with his paw bleeding as they had nicked his paw pad. As I understand this is an accident it was not handled well. His paw was dripping blood onto his other leg as I’m holding him. His haircut cost around 120 with tip. Had to go to the emergency vet after to get his paw pad disinfected and he is now in a bandage and cone for three days. for a tiny dog like mine, he was dropped off at 2 and picked up at 5. After that he went straight to the emergency vet because the risk of an infection is high and I’m not willing to take that chance on my dog I love. He was tired hungry and had to use the bathroom. I shouldn’t have had to spend another 2 hours at the hospital for the haircut. definitely will be going back tomorrow to get a refund. Really sad and traumatic for both my dog and me. Had the situation been handled differently I wouldn’t feel this way because I know it was an accident. The least reimbursement would be a refund. There’s good groomers out there that charge less and do a better and safer job. The place may seem so nicely decorated and beautiful yet really just brought sadness within me and my family. Not happy to see my dog crying and limping in a cone. Not deserved.

The Barkgata is always such a pleasant experience!! My shiht zu poodle is very energetic and can be a hassle to groom but they always do such a fantastic job!:) We both leave very happy every time. Thank you to the Barkgata for always taking such great care of my angel, i’ll never take her anywhere else! Would highly recommend for grooming, daycare, and boarding!!!:)))

Barkgata is an amazing place to either bring your dog for daycare or board them. It is incredibly clean, very professional. The owners and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They are like family my 2 dogs absolutely lice b it there. They get so excited when they go. I highly recommend them.

If you need a place to bring your dog for boarding, this is the place!I had to board my dog for the weekend, and the folks at the Barkgata took excellent care of my husky! She played with the other dogs all day, was fed, and taken well care of.We even had an issue were we could not pick up our dog on the agreed upon time and date. The staff was so accommodating that it took the pressure of us. That was very much appreciated.If youre looking for a place to board your dog, go check out the Barkgata website!

Today was our second time @ Barkgata for Grooming (havent been since last year because it is a bit of a drive for me). I can honestly say, this is the happiest/most satisfied I (and my Cavapoo, Palmer) have been with grooming services. Their location is among the cleanest and updated Ive seen. Most importantly, they truly listen to your preference on grooming styles and follow through, and my dog comes out calm and peaceful vs. stressed and anxiety ridden for days after like she has from previous loud/overpacked grooming places. Barkgata is the best around.

My dog absolutely loves going there, and I always feel completely confident and comfortable leaving him in their care, whether its for a day of playtime or an overnight stay.The staff at Barkgata are fantastic. Theyre friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about dogs. They take the time to get to know each dog individually, which puts my mind at ease.Overall, Barkgata is a lifesaver for busy dog owners. It gives our furry friends a chance to socialize and have fun, and it gives us peace of mind knowing theyre in good hands. I highly recommend them!

The best team—I’m so grateful for them! My dog, Snoopy, is 12 years old and not used to being away from his family, but Bianca and the rest of the Barkgata family have gone above and beyond to accommodate him. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the staff at Barkgada pet hotel. The first thing we noticed on our first visit was the cleanliness and ABSOLUTELY NO ODOR. The staff greet your dog and you with such warmth. Our Sheila is so excited to get there and comes home so happily tired and obviously well cared for. My dog LOVES to go to the Barkgata. It is one of his favorite places to be. He has so muchFun playing with the dogs. And the people who work there are wonderful! I highly recommend!

Love Barkgata! I used to take my dog to PetSmarts Pets Hotel for Doggie Day Care and sleepaways, but when hes there, he doesnt get outside time, and I know how much he loves the fresh air. Barkgata is clean and bright, the staff is attentive and caring, and I really appreciate that he gets a grooming after an extended stay. Best of all is the fenced yard where he gets to run off his excess energy.

Barkgata has an incredible staff that clearly shows they care about their customers. As a first time customer, I was impressed that everyone knew the name of my dog and were genuinely caring about her throughout her stay. I will definitely use them again in the future.

When it comes to dog grooming no one is better. Anyone can just give a dog a bath but at barkgata they go above and beyond. My English bulldog is a grooming nightmare with her face rolls, but when she comes home after her spa day she is spotless and smells amazing. I have had them there for day care as well as boarded them while I was in the process of moving and they have came home exhausted from all the fun they had while staying. Look no further for a place to bring an important part of your family and be more than pleased.

Barkgata is the only place I will leave our dog. He goes in happily every time and comes home exhausted and clean from their fantastic groomer! They are responsive if I ever need to speak to them, keep me updated and always accommodating of any changes!

Our dog Bandit loves it here. He always comes home tired and happy after a stay at Barkgata. I love that they post the dogs to their instagram story so you can always check in on them.

The Barkgata was amazing! When I walked in the lobby I was impressed - it was so clean, didn’t smell and greeted with a smile. I was able to see my dogs enjoying themselves with photos posted on Instagram. They smelled great when I picked them up. I also liked the safety feature that you have to be buzzed into the lobby. My dogs will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough about Barkgata! My Sheepadoodle gets a perfect groom every time from Anna— she’s amazing! They take great care of my pup and always show her so much affection. Trust the owner, Bianca— she’s got the best daycare/groom business around!!! “Half day play and then groom” is a great day for my girl, and she comes home so fluffy, clean, beautiful and happily EXHAUSTED from play day!

I cannot say enough good things about Barkgata!I have used daycare facilities in the past and none can compare in terms of the facility, the owner and the team. They thought of everything.They are all so attentive, they know every dog and their quirks very well, and they couldn’t be nicer. They go the extra mile every time, treat the dogs like family and have great communication at all times.My dog has been going since he was a puppy, and he’s a very difficult dog. But Barkgata is his happy place - and he never wants to leave. I am so comfortable and happy when I travel knowing that my dog is in such safe hands at Barkgata.

As soon as we got our dog, I knew the only thing we needed was to have her by our side. Barkgata went above and beyond for our little baby. The owner stayed with her, put on her little dress and veil and walked her down the aisle. She was the star of the show and could not of missed our day without her.

We brought our pup there for his first cut and groom and the entire staff was amazing. The facility was spotless and didn’t smell like wet dog at all like some places out there. Will definitely be back for more grooming and maybe even some doggy daycare 🐶

Barkgata is the only place we trust to board our two dogs when we go out of town. The facility is immaculate and the staff is always friendly / reassures us that our pups are in good hands. We also love seeing the photos they post on social media while we are away. Highly recommend for boarding!

When my husband and I went to Barkgata to pick up our dog after boarding her for the very first time in her life...she came out to greet us and was happy and excited to see us. Then, when the owner and Olivia headed back through the door to leave us alone for a minute, Zoey happily and eagerly left us to go follow them so she could be with her new doggy friends. That says it all, she didnt want to leave!!!! If anyone is concerned about boarding their precious dog, please dont be...they are very caring and kind!!

My french bulldog Eddie absolutely loves Barkgata. From his bi-weekly grooming to the daycare 1-2 times per week, this place is the best. Clean, safe, and so much fun for our Eddie. My pup and I had such a great experience here!! I got my Pomsky groomed and they gave her a phenomenal haircut. Also the groomer, owner and employees treated her with such love and care. My dog hates the groomer usually, but she actually was so happy being there! Also this place is so beautiful and clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews but I want everyone to have the opportunity to experience what I did at the Barkgata. This will be a long one!!To start, I have never left my dog with anyone, EVER. I just simply didn’t travel because I didn’t have any places/people that I felt would cater to my pup the way that I do. I had my sons wedding in AZ and I had no choice but to find a place for my boy.Samson is a 7 year old black lab. He has serve separation anxiety, bad back knees, takes a few vitamins and is on a special diet (I cook food for him every single night)I came in for a tour back in April and met with Bianca and Olivia. They showed me where Samson would be playing in daycare and where he would be for his meals, nap and over night stay. The facility is absolutely spotless. Truthfully, if it wasn’t for the beautiful view of dogs getting groomed to the right when you enter the lobby you would think it was a 5-star hotel for humans and that there were no animals there. It smells amazing as soon as you enter. The two ladies answered every single one of my questions with a smile and reassurance that my Samson would be in great hands and that immediately put my nerves at ease.Once I left I went home and began registering him on their guest portal. I really liked how the portal asked so many questions about the dog so that the staff really knew every little detail. Once I registered I uploaded his vaccine records and he was all set up!Next came his first day evaluation…. Oh boy was I a nervous wreck. I dropped him off in the AM and patiently waited for his evaluation to be completed. When I came back to pick him up he was laying on the floor with 3 staff members rubbing his belly!! I was so thrilled to see how comfortable and HAPPY he was with the staff!! We booked his week long stay in the luxury suite that day and the anticipation of the long stay began.Drop off day…. I dropped him off on a Sunday morning and had the pleasure of meeting Gabrielle. She went over all of Samson’s feeding instructions and medication thoroughly. As I expected I was an emotional mess and to my surprise Samson was waiting at the hallway door begging to be let into the back to see all his friends again!! Oh was that an AMAZING FEELING!! He was greeted with smiles and hugs from the staff and quickly he went into daycare to begin his week long stay.I promised I wouldn’t call every hour but I did call to check in on him daily. The ladies at the front told me how he was doing and directed me to their Facebook/Instagram to see pictures of him throughout his stay.I returned back late Saturday evening so I picked Samson up sunday morning around 9:30AM. I was told he would be getting his bath that day so that was the earliest time to come. I also added a nail clipping to his exit bath which was super convenient as I usually have to trek to the vet for that. When I arrived they gave me all of his belongs back WASHED and folded nicely in a new Barkgata Bag! Out came Samson wagging his tail, happy and smelling like a big ole’ blueberry!! I was so thrilled to not only have my boy back but to have him back smiling and smelling amazing.I truly don’t know what I would have done without the Barkgata, I really felt defeated on my boarding search that I would have had to miss my sons wedding if it wasn’t for them.I hope everyone reads this and feels the relief I felt by finding this GEM of a place. THANK U TO EVERYONE AT THE BARKGATA!! WE WILL SEE YOU ALL VERY SOON FOR ANOTHER BATH AND MAYBE EVEN SOME PLAY TIME!! XOXOXO

We brought our dog here when we found out our vet was no longer offering doggie daycare services. The experience here truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were so friendly and attentive to my Zoey. She is an older dog who requires medication during the day and they were amazing caring for all her needs. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone and will definitely be using them more in the future!

I absolutely adore this place! My puppy is always excited to go there. Olivia is super sweet and helpful! We also used their grooming services and were extremely happy with the results. Thank you at everyone at Barkgata!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Our 15 yo dogs LOVED Barkgata. They were excited to arrive and headed straight inside without one look back at the family. Before Barkgata we would board them at the local large chain pet store. Whenever we arrived the dogs would pull away from the store and it always broke my heart. Not Barkgata!!! I swear the dogs would have stayed forever if they could have. Highly recommend. Unfortunately we lost the two recently and will miss the lovely staff and owners of Barkgata.

I couldn’t be more happy with a dog Hotel. Barkgata is one of the cleanest places you will ever see. You can’t even find a hair on the floor or a dog smell. The staff are so nice and friendly and explained everything and then notified you via email and cell phone to verify. They even have a grooming service which is behind a full glass viewing wall and once again it is so clean. The groomer did a great job and called asking how I wanted the hair to be cut before cutting it. My dog loved the staff and they loved him back. My dog Bo didnt even want to leave, when I came to pick him up. Once again I would definitely use Barkgata again and again. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

From the moment you walk into their clean facilities and greeted like family, it’s evident that this is not your average doggy daycare.From the spa and wellness to activities, my Cane Corso (Lyric) loves the Barkgata and so do I. The true gems are Bianca, Pete, Olivia and the entire staff. Very courteous, professional, informative and fun. I’ve been taking Lyric there for well over a year and very pleased. I recommend The Barkgata to make your dog feel like the VIP they are!

Our dog Benji attends daycare at Barkgata once a week, and I can say with certainty that it is his favorite day every week. We also use Barkgata for grooming and boarding and are always so pleased with the care they take with Benji. It really is his second home. I am not sure what we would do without them, and Benji agrees!

We would highly recommend the Barkgatta Hotel & Spa for everyone’s furry family member. We booked our Boy Maverick for a lengthy stay of17 days. The staff was so comforting and reassured us every time I called to check in. Pictures were posted every day of Maverick and he looked so happy I was afraid he wouldn’t want to return home! When we picked our boy up he happily greeted us but followed the staff back behind the desk and I knew he was so loved while in Barkgatta’s care. The whole staff are wonderful and I have already booked Maverick for another 4 night stay in May while we have to be away.

We used their boarding service several times in the past and my two dogs are about to spend another week long stay at Barkgata. They love their stays here and show their excitement when they know they’re going to this unique dog hotel. You can see the connection the pups have with Pete and Bianca who are both true dog lovers that have a genuine professional and caring nature that extends to the pet owners.They are very proud of their business and always extend the utmost assurance that your dog will receive the best care.They were both groomed last week and the attention to detail is awesome!Very happy with this family owned business.

It was my first time bringing my dog, Max, for a grooming, and Anna did an excellent job. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. Also, the staff was friendly and the place was pretty and clean. Highly recommend.

Reese seemed to have a great time at his stay with Barkgata! This was our first time ever having to board our dog, as well as our first time having to be away from him for so long, so we were a little nervous. He was there for 5 days, and over that time period a few pictures of him were posted to their instagram story, which was reassuring that we could briefly see how he was doing. We are very happy with the way Barkgata cares for the dogs they look after, and will definitely consider an occasional daycare visit.

Our dogs Toby & Sierra love staying at the Barkgata! I am so happy that I found such a wonderful place to take care of our fur babies when we are away or for daycare. Toby likes the Barkgata so much that when we went to pick him up after a week stay, he tried to go back in rather than come home with us! While that hurt my feelings a little, Im so glad he enjoys being there!!! All of the staff is wonderful & so friendly, I could not recommend a better place 10 out of 10 stars :-)

I rarely write reviews but I had to for this wonderful place! The Barkgata is absolutely an amazing facility!!! I’ve met and dealt with many of the staff members at the Barkgata and everyone goes above and beyond for the dogs. They treat every dog that comes in like they are their own. I drop my lab off during the week around 7:15am and pick her up right before daycare closes at 6:45pm and I am always greeted with a smile from staff and a happy pup after a long day. Thank you Barkgata for giving me peace of mind and a safe space for my pup to spend time while I am at work!

I can not rave enough about the the Barkgata.. We have two golden doodles, the older one gets groomed there every month and has boarded there several times. We just brought our new 4 month old puppy for grooming with our older doodle. They took such good care of our babies. They gave them a beautiful hair cut, they smelled so good. They looked like they should be in a award winning dog show. The staff is so friendly and caring. I would never bring my babies anywhere else.

My husband and I chose the Barkgata because it was very clean and did not keep the dogs in kennel type rooms. In additions meeting and talking with owners we can see there passion and commitment they had. What closed the deal for us was seeing how happy and active the dogs were. In addition as we would call and check the status of our dog they were more than happy along with pictures and gave us peace of mind. All in all very happy and will definitely board our dog there again, we are considering booking our dog for day care services just so he can reunite with his friends

Barkgata Luxury Dog Hotel was amazing! Our 2 dogs had a wonderful & fun stay. They had a nice, spotless clean room together with plenty of space to sleep. They got lots of play time & the staff was so nice. Both dogs were also groomed while there.

I felt at ease as soon as I met Bianca and had a tour of the Barkgata. The hotel is beautiful, spacious and very clean. I loved that they have rooms, with glass doors and not crates.Our dogs stayed in the Royal suite with a couch, blankets, dog beds and a TV. They got to play all day and then sleep in their comfy suite.A feature that was very appreciated were the photos of our dogs that were regularly posted. We loved seeing the pictures and videos of our dogs playing! It was great to see how happy and cared for they were.Bianca, Peter and the staff are warm, friendly, professional and most importantly love dogs.Our dogs will definitely be staying at the Barkgata in the future.

This was the first time we needed to board our fur baby Bailey. I found Barkgata Dog Hotel online and saw they had excellent reviews. I spoke to Bianca and we were able to visit the place. I was so impressed at how clean and beautiful the place was. It literally is a hotel for your dog. Our girl stay for a week and I just loved the daily pics posted online of her having a great time with the other doggies. They took such great care of her and it really put us at ease while we were away. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a place to board their dog.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR BOARDING & DAYCARE. We recently adopted our puppy Maverick & had a family wedding out of town. After researching & looking at almost every doggie daycare/boarding option on Long Island, Barkgata was the obvious choice (and we live 45 min-hour away). We could not be happier with our choice. Maverick is 4 months old & stayed 5 days/nights. He had the best time & made so many friends. He literally didn’t want to leave! They have the nicest staff, who you can tell love & care for the animals that go there as if they were their own. They go above & beyond & do an amazing job posting & updating their social media to give live updates & share the dogs daily. We have already brought Maverick back for daycare & it is just such a relief knowing we have somewhere like Barkgata for Maverick to go when we aren’t able to be with him.

My dog loves this daycare and so do we, we have never seen such clean rooms and such nice people when you walk in there is no odor that there are dogs there most places I have been there smells very bad thank you for this place

Love taking our dog here for grooming . The barkgata is super clean. The entire staff is amazingly friendly and our labradoodle loves going and comes out looking so handsome!

We can’t recommend the Barkgata enough. They always take excellent care of our two Boston Terriers whether it’s for daycare or several days when we go on vacation. It’s such a relief knowing they are in such good hands being cared for by people that treat them like family. We’ve been going there since they opened and have no plans on bringing our boys anyplace else.

When they first opened, we inquired about this facility for our dog. The owners were so inviting and allowed us to tour the facility- it is top notch; very clean and organized! The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our dog has gone for daycare and overnight stays and we are incredibly impressed with the level of care they provide. They text us with updates during overnight stays and post pictures on socials during daycare hours! I am a crazy dog mom and they never seem to be bothered when I call for updates. We have also utilized their grooming services (bath) and were very happy! Barkgata is the only place I trust my dog for overnight stays and doggie daycare!

I brought my dog Lucy there for a 1/2 day of daycare as a trial, after a negative experience at another pet boarding facility. They were amazing, Lucy was immediately comfortable and had no signs of anxiety when I left. She absolutely loved this place. I just recently boarded her for the weekend, and she RAN in when I dropped her off. She is SO happy there, and loves to play with the other dogs. This place is clean, they offer grooming services, and gave Lucy a bath. I highly recommend The Barkata!!

My dog used to go to Barkgata since April 2023, and one time she came home with a dog bite in wish this place made a false statement Regarding my dog injury, on another occasion another false statement was made staff reassured that my dog was injured on a fence, After taking the dog to the vet it was confirmed that it was a dog bite my dog was limping and bleeding Subsequently my dog is in quarantine due to her injuries at Barkgata luxury dog Hotel. I don’t recommend this place to anyone this people lie to me, and they make stories to make themselves look good.

I have a puppy he is 5 months old, my first pet. I was so nervous to leave him for a few days while I was taking vacations. After researching many pet hotels I Found Barkgata. Super Clean, beautiful place and friendly staff. Bianca and her Dad are great ! They give me a piece of mind And I’m very happy with them. My puppy is going for day care now one day a week . He loves going there and gets so excited! I highly recommend it 💙

This was the first time we boarded our two dogs at the Barkgata and we were nervous. The staff were amazing and sent us photos of our babies and gave us a report everyday. When we picked them up they were so happy to see us and they had been given a bath so they smelled great. We will definitely board our dogs again!

I brought my puppy for his first ever grooming. It was my first time going to Barkgata. From the phone call to book and every step of the way after that - soup to nuts this place was great. Every person we came into contact with showed us the tlc that helped us feel comfortable and well cared for. My puppy looked fantastic and had a great experience. We were very happy with their thorough and professional care.

The Barkgata is the best! I was nervous sending my Penelope anywhere, but after a few times here she comes home happy and tired. The hotel is clean, organized, friendly and they really love every single dog that comes to stay! I feel completely comfortable leaving P there. Cant recommend Barkgata enough.

So beyond happy and relieved to have found the Barkgata for our pup Archie. Bianca and her dad are the nicest people and obviously fellow dog lovers. The facility is gorgeous and safe. They were so accommodating when our flight was delayed and we called from the airport asking if Archie could stay another night. So great to know I dont have to worry when traveling again. There are not enough words to say how great Barkgata was. I left my 2yr old cocker spaniel Lady with them for 8 days and they treated her like family. Not only did they take great care of her but they put me at ease, letting me know she was in safe and loving hands. Lady is a rescue and a little anxious but they are experts and I just picked her up and she is a happy little camper. Thank you so much Barkgata for taking care of Lady!!!!

Brought my 8 year old chihuahua here based on a friends wonderful recommendation. He’s never been boarded so I was nervous but immediately upon walking in we were greeted by the owners and they were so warm and welcoming! Their energy put me at ease and treated my dog like one of their own. I was able to follow pictures and videos of him on instagram which was great. The place is beautiful, clean and the best part is they don’t stay in cages. I’m really grateful they took such good care of him and HIGHLY recommend.

This place is the best! It’s super clean, like really clean. The grooming area is right when you walk in, only separated with a wall of glass doors. You can see everything going on. Even with grooming it smells fantastic and is clean. Any owner or staff member that I have come in contact with has been welcoming. They genuinely love your dog. My dog is a super anxious dog. He pants whenever he’s nervous. At drop off, he runs to go in, wags his tail HARD when everyone greets him and is cool, calm and collected at pick up. Never has the “nervous panting”. The pictures I see throughout the day show me he really is happy there. Prices are fair, setting up my dogs reservation for whatever day/time is super easy and they have full and half day options. While we haven’t needed the boarding options, the rooms they have- yes, ROOMS, not crates or kennels- are amazing. I would spend the weekend there. Different tiers and options for boarding but every option provides an inviting space for you pet.We are SUPER happy with our experience there. My dog gets excited when I ask him if he wants to go see his friends- he knows that means he’s going to daycare. I would highly recommend The Barkgata to anyone. They really are fantastic.

I am so happy I found Barkgata. The amount of attention and care they give to my little frenchie during doggy daycare is wonderful. They send me updates and pictures throughout the day which puts my mind at ease so I can work without worrying about my pup. He always leaves exhausted (which is great) from playing so much and when I drop him off he runs to the staff so excited for all the fun he’s going to have.

I almost don’t want to say how great this place is for fear of it getting overrun but everyone just has to know! Every person from the owner on down is absolutely fantastic. The dogs are treated like posh ritzy beloved clients. The groomer, Anna, is kind, compassionate, and skilled. I can only say how exceptional this place is— I’ve been to many many different places and this one beats them all!

My dog, Monty, enjoyed his time at the Barkgata so much! He had an amazing day playing with other dogs and enjoying being out of the house. Since I work all day, it is nice to know he has somewhere safe and fun to go during the day, where he can socialize and get all of his energy out. He was so calm and relaxed after spending the day at the hotel! A great experience all around, and what is better than a snuggly dog after a day at work? He is looking forward to enjoying another day there with his new human and dog friends!

Brought my pup there today and it was AMAZING! He is usually very timid and nervous but when I picked him up he was so happy! We did a half day of daycare and grooming and it’s easily the best he’s looked. Very professional and Bianca and her father were great!

My dog Theodore had a great experience. The owners are amazing. They are very caring and showed my dog love as if he was in his own home. I would highly recommend Barkgata to care for your dog when you need overnight care.

I have a very active pup and the daycare at BARKGATA gives my girl the workout she needs. I love picking her up after either a 1/2 or full day and see her so happy . I have used their grooming service as well and the groomer is an artist!! I highly recommend BARKGATA

This was Lennys first overnight away. He got 5 star guest reviews by the staff. He played well with the other guests. He was bathed before pickup for an additional fee, and looked handsome after his blowout! The facility is beautiful, clean and impressive. Just wish they had longer hours for doggy day care on the weekend for pickups.Definitely worth a visit. We will be back!

WARNING: I wouldnt give it even 1 star but they didnt give that option. Expensive ( and I mean expensive) does not mean good. In this case its exactly the opposite. I boarded my dog there just recently. I brought in our healthy dog, with a collar, blanket and her own food. I picked up a sick lethargic dog, with horrible diarrhea, broken collar and lost blanket. The webbing between her toes was bright red so she had been licking them all weekend. My guess is they did not give her the food I brought in but there is no proof.A trip to her vet was immediate as she needed fluids because she was dehydrated. Her doctor was as usual, fabulous.WARNING... do NOT board your dog there. They didnt care that she got sick, they didnt care about replacing the collar and they finally found her blanket which I threw out not knowing where it was and what it came in contact with.There are other choices in our area so my advice is try a different one.

What a wonderful place to take your dog!!!! The staff is amazing and soooooo kind. The facility is IMMACULATE and so beautiful. We took our 4 month old labradoodle here and she was in Heaven!!! Played in the pool, with other dogs, etc. Highly recommend bringing your fur babies here!!!!

Brought our standard poodle for the first time 2 weeks ago. This is now our new groomer! So friendly, beautiful clean facility and our dog looks amazing. He was very happy and had no skin irritation afterwards (old place he always was so itchy)

My puppy has stayed there a few times now and he LOVES it!! When I come to pick him up and doesn’t want to leave and when I tell him he’s going there his tail goes crazy and he gets super excited. The staff is absolutely amazing and makes you feel super comfortable leaving your dog with them.

Terrible experience at BarkgataAfter a first great experience, we dropped off our older dog for the second time at BARKGATA walking and running around.The day we picked him up, I called twice and spoke to the owner to give her updates on our arrival. I asked her how he was doing, and she replied, he is fine.When we arrived, HE COULDN’T LIFT HIS HEAD AND HIS LEGS WERE PARALYZED. THE OWNER TOLD US THIS HAPPENED “4 HOURS AGO.” THIS COULD HAVE BEEN LIFE OR DEATH!We were in shock to see him in this condition because there was no mention on either phone call. Where was the BARKGATAS emergency protocol? They had our emergency contacts. If they called our emergency contacts, we might not be in this situation of him needing 24/7 care for over 10 weeks. Thankfully, he is gradually making progress. Our lives have not been the same since.As every pet owner knows, Vet, ER Animal Hospital and MRI, and other scans are very expensive. He requires continued care.Board at your own risk!

I have two little girls who are treated like family at Barkgata. The people who work there truly LOVE dogs! I always know my fur babies are in good hands for sure when they are boarded at Barkgata. Always a positive experience!!!

How very fortunate I am and was to learn about the Barkgata, from my diligent vet! What a wonderful establishment to bring a furry baby to, for day care, overnights, and or grooming. My dog Teddy has been there several times, having a fabulous and fun filled experience each time he visited. Peter and Bianca could not have been nicer, more patient, helpful and kind! Barkgata is meticulouslyclean, spacious and welcoming. Teddy was not even socialized with other dogs before he came there, and quickly became one of the gang. I have witnessed Bianca and Peter’s interaction withother dogs there, and they really cater and concentrate on the needs and wants of each pet. Furthermore, I can only conclude bystressing is a truly unique, very special place to bring a belovedpet!

We needed to board our two dogs for a week-long trip, and their [old] usual spot was booked, so we took to Google and stumbled upon Barkgata. I am SO glad we did, and can say--without hesitancy--this is their new spot! The facility is gorgeous and exceptionally clean. Our dogs shared a suite and it was more than enough room for the two of them (each about 40lbs). They got playtime every day, and we loved seeing pictures of our happy pups making new friends! They are both rescues and a little timid, but they took to Peter and Bianca quickly--we knew the minute we dropped them off that they were in wonderful hands. This was the first trip we went on that we didnt worry about our dogs once. I cant recommend Barkgata enough!

Beautiful place and staff was very helpful, however the place is only open to 5pm which wasnt convenient for me.

My first time ever leaving my dog without family and did not want her to be crated. I was having a lot of anxiety about leaving her for a week! I read an article about the barkgata and went to look at the location. The place is so clean, the rooms are spacious and the staff amazing. Did I mention rooms!!! Not crates! Still nervous about leaving my baby, but with the daily updates and pictures, I was able to enjoy my vacation. This is THE place for your dog to stay, they get a vacation of their own. My dog, Blu, ended her stay with an amazing bath and a blueberry facial! Blu will be staying here whenever we go away so we both can enjoy a little vacation. They also offer day packages!

A family friend recommended us to the Barkgata. My wife and I decided to give them a try and schedule a spa day for our babygirl Chloe & It was the BEST bath she had ever gotten. She was the star of the show at our family dinner because of how great she looked and smelt. We will definitely be returning for a longtime stay and many more spa days! No place in the area beats the Barkgata

My boy always comes out happy & smelling great, He would live there if he could!!Gorgeous Lobby, super clean suites, affordable daycare packages & my favorite thing would be the daily pictures on their Instagram! I love seeing my guy having a blast. Best spot ever, they will always be my go-to!
