So I’ve brought my Pomeranian here several times. They usually take 3-4 hours if you don’t ask you won’t know that. Also they over charge and every time I ask why they say because he’s matter I’m not satisfied with the services. He weighs 14 lbs there’s no reason I should be paying $65-75 for basic full service not even anal glands or tooth brushing. His groomer has been always Rick, He seems he can get sarcastic if your not too happy with the haircut but otherwise he’s okay. When I use to pay $50-55 at other groomers. Nothing special about this place was just close to home. If they could not over charge I would continue. But they lost me a customer.

Alton not only services your dogs by way of a great haircut….he is very gentle and loving. He is so compassionate and talented. Highly recommended!

Very helpful group of people.. Ive always done business with them. My dogs always smell fresh.. would love if they could add teeth brushing in the package just a thought

I have been using this place for over 10 years. They do an awesome job every single time. I have three dogs and they have never once cut my dogs like other places in the neighborhood have. I had switched temporarily after a surgery they cut one of my dogs and tried to hide it. I then made arrangements for a family friend to drop my dogs off at this salon as I never wanted my animals to be hurt again.This place does a great job each and every time.

Best groomers I’ve have been to. Alton has been our family groomer for over 8 years. Very clean place and animals are very well taken care of. Very highly recommended 🐶🐶🐶🐶

While the staff is extremely kind, unfortunately they did a horrible job with my shin tzu. The texture of her hair changed completely from whatever products they used on her, and I asked for a trim and her hair is super uneven! I wouldn’t recommend this grooming salon and hate to say that because Nico who u believe is the owner is so nice but quality is not there.

The Dog and Cat House is a very large and open space unlike most grooming shops that are all closed in and the dogs could become scared. The groomers are very caring and listen to what you want and are patient with your pups. They do not rush even if it means they run behind because every dog is treated the same. From the front desk ladies, to the bathers and the groomers, everyone is very nice. If not, they probably just got bit, lol! Their prices are fair and the pups come out absolutely adorable!! Highly recommend!

My little girl (Sugar) has been going to Dog and Cat House for almost three years. This groomer is not in my neighborhood and WHAT IS SPECIAL about them is the fact that my dog does not come back with red blotches and bruises. I use to go to a groomer in my neighborhood and my dog looked great, but she was not treated with care. At Dog and Cat House not only does she come out looking fabulous but she is treated with care. Thank you to Tina and the Staff at Dog and Cat House for taking such good care of little miss Sugar!

I took my VERY paw sensitive doggy here for a bath and nail clipping. This was the first time Ive had him groomed since I adopted him and his rescue group recommended this place.My dog doesn’t let anyone touch his paws and they managed to clip most of his overgrown talons! They did more in one session than what would have taken me months.He wasnt traumatized afterwards, which also showed me that they were gentle. Im definitely coming back for baths and nails clippings.

I’ve been taking my dog here for a while now. When I met my fiancé, I had him bring his dog here as well. On Saturday November 17th, I dropped both of our pups off to get their usual haircuts. When my fiancé picked them up, the staff acted like everything was okay. AFTER he paid, they decided to inform him that they cut my dog’s (Boo) ear while they were grooming her. They packed it with some yellow substance that they said should fall off within a few days. I understand that groomers aren’t perfect, but upon further inspection of her ear, it looks like it was more than just a simple nick, in fact, it looks like they took a piece off of her ear. To add insult to injury, whoever groomed her also shaved off way more than they were supposed behind her front leg. They still had the nerve to charge full price, other reputable I know would’ve never accepted payment. This place is disgusting, their staff is disgusting. The woman that works front desk is a complete air head. I gave her my number over the phone prior to making the appointment, as well as while I dropped the pups off, yet they claimed I never answered when they called. Furthermore, they called our other dog a dirty little pig because he was being a typical male dog around my female dog. This place overcharges for sub par service, grooming and hospitality. I have quite a few friends who go here regularly and I’ll be letting them know to not use this place anymore. I’m worried that the trauma my poor pup faced will dissuade her from being comfortable at a groomers ever again. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

Dont go there! Theyre disrespectful liars and one is abusive yanking my dog by her ear and pulling her numerous times while she keeps the hot dryer on my dog in one spot.

A while back, I was asked to provide records of shots for my dog who has been going there for years. Debbie was extremely rude on the phone to me when I was confused on which papers I needed. When I asked if a receipt from the vet stating the shots i paid for would suffice she told they would absolutely not. When I asked if she would be able to contact my vet and obtain verbal confirmation that my dog recieved his shots she laughed and told me this was not her job. I went to the vet only to find out the receipt I mentioned early is in fact the paper work I needed. The staff is beyond rude and I was called numerous times stating my dog had fleas and yelled at for this. They also would take my dog from 11AM until 3:30PM which at the time I thought was normal. I now go to RK Grooming and they have been beyond wonderful.

I love this place, highly recommended . Your dog is safe and well treated and my dog only goes here because I know she is well taken care of and come out so adorable . Thank you all !

This is my 2nd time bringing Jazzy, my Havenese/Yorkie mix here and both times I have been satisfied with her cut. Al is Jazzy’s groomer and I would definitely recommend him!

I was satisfied with the cut, but they took way too long, and the receptionist complained my dog bites; the only way he would bite is if provoked or hit. I never brought him back, Ive had no more complaints from anyone else.

Great staff. I LOVE my yorkie and I trust them with her. They do a great job and are very accommodating. Tina is the best!

Im not satisfied with my puppys haircut. I explained how i wanted his cut to be a few times, especially cuz we are traveling. When i picked him up it was nothing how i explained. I wanted his mane long surrounding his head, n a v leading down his back. Theyve done it before that is why i returned. Instead all his hair was cut off, no mane n no V! Idk if i will return. Especially if they cut the hair the way they want! Not a satisfied customer. Not to mention its expensive, to not get wat u want. 😡

Great place ! This place is very clean and has great customer service. Everytime I have taken my dog here he comes out happy and well groomed.

Utilized them for years even after they moved two times. They were always good to our dog and our family . Alton, our groomer was like family.

My dog is very timid and doesnt really like to be around any other animals and Alton does a very great job making her feel good.

The owner have no control over her customers, they walk their dogs and dont clean up. Its the law to clean up after your pet. Its very unsanitary. It was bought to her attention but nothing was done.

I took my dog ( he’s a shih tzu) months ago here once and they cut his hair superrrr low & he came back acting so different. it seemed like he was depressed after his experience at this place. i would not recommend. i take him to a different groomer and he comes back perfectly fine and happy.
