Hounds Town Ronkonkoma

I researched a few places to bring my German Shepherd as I had to go away to attend to a family matter. This place does not disappoint. Top Notch! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. They treated my boy like family. Lois was great and my boy instantly felt at ease with her. Simply the best in the area.

Give Alyssa and Dan a raise! 😉 Seriously though, Alyssa walked me through everything from the minute I called for the first time to inquire, to my puppy’s first day at day care, and she has been there for us ever since! She always has a smile on her face when I see her at the front desk and she made me feel comfortable from the very beginning leaving my puppy at HT. Another employee who is always smiling and very welcoming is Dan. He always goes out of his way to give my dog affection and attention to make her feel welcome and at home. I truly appreciate these two young professionals making my puppy and I feel comfortable and at home at HoundsTown! Thank you to the HT team ❤️

They refused to complete a pet evaluation even though they had the availability to complete one. They stated that a pet evaluation is good for 6 months and that boarding availability was going to be available after December, so I requested to do a pet evaluation now so that when boarding does become available after December my dog can just come but they refused.I prefer a doggie daycare that’s willing to work with the client. This is not my first time trying to get my dog into this daycare but this is certainly my last. Good Luck!

HT Ronkonkoma has taken such amazing care of our fur baby, Clay! Hes a pretty anxious pup, but they always greet him so happily and he definitely enjoys his time with his friends! They go out their way to keep your dog safe & happy! They truly are the best and we appreciate all of their love & care!💖

I have absolutely no clue how this place has so many positive reviews. DO NOT bring your dog here.Firstly, the dogs are kept in empty pens with no toys, nothing to do, the “movie” TV is never on.Second, it is FILTHY in there. You can smell it as soon as you open the door. I picked up my dog from daycare yesterday and he was so disgusting.They gave him to me wet (I did not ask for a bath) and I was told, “We were trying to clean him off”. Well, they did an extremely poor job of that. His legs and belly were all YELLOW as if he was peed on and he smelled RANCID. I had to bathe him when I got home and then when I called to try to ask what happened to him I was told “He was playing in the water bowl”. I’m sorry but he would not smell like sewage and be yellow from playing in a water bowl. They told me they would do a better job wiping him in the future.Today I went back to drop him off for daycare again, and was trying to explain the situation to an employee, I was interrupted by the woman I spoke on the phone with. She said “Yes it was me you spoke with, he was just playing in the water bowl” again downplaying what happened.When I picked him up today and looked into the viewing window, the large dogs looked SO sad. They had not a toy in sight. They were all in a pen crying and barking with urine and feces on the floor. When I got my dog he was very wet again, but at least not yellow this time, but he smelled very strongly of whatever “dog cologne” they use to mask the rancid urine smell. I once again bathed him as soon as I got home because I was gagging at the smell of him, and will not be taking him back to that dump.

Hounds Town Ronkonkoma is the only place I will trust to watch my two dogs, whether for a day or overnight. They are attentive and caring - most of the staff even know my boys by name. The enrichment these dogs get is like nothing else when theyre staying at Hounds Town!

The 60 minute puppy socialization class was exactly what my 4 months old Elon needed. He got about 50 minutes of playtime with other puppies while I got information on the benefits of good nutrition fort my dog, grooming and socializing my dog.

We just brought our baby Otis Montgomery there for a play date. Needless to say we were super nervous leaving him. Hounds Town put us at ease with a few videos on Facebook. He was playing and having a blast with other pups.We are going out of town for a few days. Now we can leave with confidence that out baby is well taken care of

Admittedly I didnt get to see a whole lot of the facility but based on what I DID see and how my dog and I were treated during his evaluation, I am hoping for good things. Stephanie was very friendly, informative and answered any questions or concerns that my fiance or I had about Kenobis future boarding stay with them. He passed his evaluation and earned his bowtie today.

Excellent experience. Staff was very nice, handled my eight month old puppy well. Looking forward to her first day there.

I had two puppies coming in 4 to 5 times per week for two months until now. They would had still been coming for day care far into their future if it wasn’t for this. My puppies were being kept by themselves in a room all day & I was never told this would be happening. (They would of just stay at home if this what I needed my day care to do).They posted a video on Facebook in which I notice they were being kept separate from the others in what it looks like to be a room the size of a closet & when I called to ask why this was happening, they lied to me and told me they were put in a room by themselves just to take the video. I came to pick them up and they stuck with the lie only just to later on comment on a Facebook post that they have been kept separate because they are not neutered (they are 6 months old and their appointment for this would had taken place in a couple of weeks).I don’t know how long this has been going on & No one ever told me this was happening. Completely heart broke about this & they have lost my trust. I was lied to about my pets situation, they are my entire life & I felt if i had found a place where would be safe, taken cared of and having a lot of fun.I will be asking for a full refund on the rest of the days I paid for & they have lost two incredibly loving and friendly dogs that could have been going there for a long time.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO HOUNDS TOWN! The dogs are watched on cameras, and not watched efficiently! My poor dog was BIT, not scratched by another dog and required four stitches to close up the wound on his face that was just an inch from his eye. I DO understand that accidents happen, and dogs can get into fights. However, Hounds Town was very shady in how they handled this situation. They could not tell me which dog attacked my innocent dog, nor what time this happened. They only realized my dog was hurt, when they went to switch the dogs into another playroom. Hounds Town was negligent in the situation and did not understand the severity of the incident. I was called a few hours after I dropped him off, and told I needed to pick up my dog because of his injury. I immediately took him to our Vet and was told I needed to take him to the animal hospital for treatment due to the severity of his injury. This cost me $850! Hounds Town refused to compensate me for my bill, nor pass the expense onto the owner of the dog that attacked my dog. Instead, they offered me one free day, and a doggy bath! What an insult! So, a day at Hounds Town cost me $850! Be warned…. Stay away from this place!

There are no other people I would trust with my dog Leia with nor would she. Leia absolutely loves it at Houndstown, plays with her friends all day and learns to socialize with other dogs and people. I use them for day care and boarding, if you own a dog and you can afford it, you would be silly not to bring your dog to Houndstown. Plus, every Holiday they throw a party for the pups, the picture is her Easter Party.

When I entered through the door, I was met with a smile and a welcome. I was unable to fill the forms out and immediately I was given a tablet so that I could fill my information out, which made it much easier than trying to fill it out on my phone. The young lady at the front desk explained everything to me, she reviewed all the doggy daycare benefits, hours of operations and all of the spa services that are available to me. My experience there was very pleasurable

My dog, Brooklyn, is a 7 mo Rottie puppy who spent about 8 days at HoundsTown Ronk while we were away on a pre-planned vacation back in April.Needless to say, I was devastated to leave her somewhere at such a young age for so many days, but I have friends who use HoundsTown Ronk Daycare services and they have always had amazing things to say, so I figured this was the place to try.What I DIDNT know, was that every single person who works at this location would go absolutely above and beyond to make sure Brooklyn was comfortable AND happy, as well as sending me almost daily updates/pictures/videos on how she was doing. She looked so excited and like she was having so much fun in the videos and pictures that it couldnt have made leaving her any easier on us (although we missed her daily! That was the hard part).There is NO other place you should leave your dog for daycare or boarding! This place is 5 stars in every sense of the word and Brooklyn LOVES her day there always. She comes home tired, and happy - what more could we ask for?Again, Thank you to all of the staff for making it the best experience for her on her very first pup-cation she could have ever had! I wasnt worried for one bit with her in your hands and I really cant thank you enough for keeping me posted while we were away from our baby.Although you wont have her for 8 days again any time soon...you will ALWAYS see her for doggie daycare and a day of fun!XOXO Alexis Bryant and Jason Merrell

My dog Honey loves to go to hounds town in Ronkonkoma .She loves playing and making new paw memories 🐾 🐕They give her a bath and cut her nails by the time i pick her up after work she is really sleepy and has no more energyThank you!!

Had a great experience! Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. I was also able to book something so fast. I was a little upset with the grooming however. I know my dog has such an undercoat, but when I got home I had to brush her because so much was coming out, almost looked like she wasn’t even brushed. Other the. That everything was amazing and we will definitely be returning here for our stays as well as camp. Thank you lady’s you rock !!

Definitely liked Hounds Town and the organized way they handle the dogs. I appreciate that they did a Temper Test to see who and how my dog reacts with. Also love the fact that they are out playing all day! Looking forward to having my little guy back there to play soon!

We look forward to having our dog spend a day at Hounds Town in Ronkonkoma. She loves to play with other dogs, so this should be a good match for her! The staff seems very kind and knowledgeable.

I took my 4 month old lab to Hounds Town for the first time today. My pup had a fun day and made lots of new friends. Everything about this day care is top notch. The staff is very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The place is clean and fun. The prices are very reasonable. There are no contracts. You pay for however many days your dog attends.. The hours are excellent 6am-8pm. Great for those like me who work 10 hour shifts. My pup will be a regular here. I highly recommend Hounds town!

Isabella was more than helpful with our check in and we made a boarding reservation as well. She made it a very smooth drop off and I think Harrison had a great time!

Chaos has been coming to Hounds Town since he was 7 months old. He doesnt go all the time but when I have to head to the city for work and I say want to go to camp? He is all ears and smiles. I love how the staff all know him and me. I know he is safe and has friends to play with. I recommend HT anytime we meet new puppy parents!

Brought my fairly new, rescue puppy in for a free trial evaluation to see if she will be able to come for occasional play dates. She is giant, 7 months old and has greeting anxiety with other dogs and some general anxiety about some new places and people. The two women on staff that morning were calm, confident, professional, and patient with my pup - and me! The facility is clean and bright; it even smelled fine. Once we got Raven through the door, they allowed her to explore, offered her a biscuit, interacted with her, and then brought out another dog her same size and introduced them in a safe and supervised way. Raven passed, so next well be going for her trial play date!This is a follow up: Raven has been going to Hounds Town Ronkonkoma for three years now. We both love this place! The facility is clean and well-designed. The staff is incredible - they know every dog that comes through the door; are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, calm, and patient. They tell me anecdotes about my dog and have little nicknames for her. I love that the owners have a podcast; I believe that they are committed to helping dogs have happy, healthy lives. Thank you!

My dog, a 42 pd wheaten terrier named Finn cannot wait to get into the building to greet the staff who lovingly care for him, and all his canine friends. Great place, thanks guys.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care and attention Cooper received whirl boarding at Hounds Town for a week. The premises were very clean and the staff extremely friendly and gentle. I was very impressed with the amount of dogs that were there and how well behaved they seemed. My diauhhters were missing their pup, but the daily videos and pics of the dog helped. My 5 month old puppy came home exhausted and basically slept for two days. We will definitely be using them again for boarding and probably intermittent daycare! Thank you Hounds Town!!

Brody loves going to Hounds Town. We are happy to take him there the quality of service is excellent. They provide a good clean environment for your pet. The staff is always accommodating and happy. This is important when trusting people with your four legged family member. He enjoyed his vacation there. Honestly he was happy to see us but I could tell he was feeling a little blue when we took him home I guess he was missing his friends and the great humans that were taking care of him. 🥰

I cannot say enough good things about Hounds Town Ronkonkoma and their fantastic staff! We’ve been taking our dog Luna there for about four years and she loves it! The staff is extremely friendly at all times and they all seem to love their job and working with the dogs. They post daily videos and pictures of the dogs at daycare which I love! They are flexible with boarding if something comes up and we need to board her. The prices are great for the amazing service they provide! I like to think even though I can’t read her mind, my dog loves going to daycare and playing with her friends, especially since we only have one dog. We will continue to be loyal customers for many years to come!

Just picked up my dog Zoey who loves her stays at the Houndstown in Ronkonkoma. We know she has had a good time because she usually sleeps for days after coming home! Staff is great and friendly! Only thing I would like to see more of is pics and videos. They are busy so sometimes it is hard for them to post them. Definitely recommend them for short and long stays.

Once my husband and I graduated from our masters programs and got full time jobs, we started looking for a place to bring our best friend a few days per week! A friend recommended Hounds Town, and I’m so glad she did! I always feel so much better when we bring our dog for the day! The staff are professional and kind, and it’s evident how much they care!! They always post pictures or videos and have special little events throughout the year for the dogs. We could not be happier with Hounds Town!!!

I never understand the obsessive our puppy parents, until I had a dog of my own and the biggest treat I can give him is bringing him to Hounds Town! We first found this amazing facility when having to suddenly travel and had no one to pet sit, and there we found Hounds Town. My crazy, hyper active border collie literally will play 24/7 if he could, and he is down for the count after a full day at Hounds Town! I really cant thank everyone who works there enough to make sure my pup is safe and well taken care of, and for giving me peace of mind and just peace and quiet for a few hours! I love Hounds Town in Ronkonkoma. The staff is exceptionally nice and they take such good care of my dog. She is always so happy in all the photos and she looks great when we come to pick her up. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Took my dog to Hounds Town Ronkonkoma the other day and he loved it! He was exhausted from playing all day. The facility is clean, vibrant and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The cutest part was I was given a report card for my dog at the end of the day. I’ll definitely be taking him back to Hounds Town!

I’ve been a customer of Hounds Town for many years and I can’t say enough good things! I’m always so at ease whenever I leave my fur-babies with them and never have to worry. I’m now on my 2nd pup who just started attending and my cat spends time there when we’re away from home for really extended periods of time, and it’s always a decision I never regret making in bringing them in! They’re treated like family and are always incredibly well cared for.

We love Hounds Town! Our pup Rori has been going every work day for a little over a year and I have no complaints. The staff is super friendly and always greets us with a smile. They always answer any questions I have. Houndstown Ronkonkoma is a great place! The staff is wonderful. Everyone is warm and welcoming. It’s really a great relief to have found a place we can feel completely comfortable leaving our pup for boarding or day care. We know she’s getting plenty of playtime, being socialized and getting a good nights’ rest.

Hounds Town Ronkonkoma is a great place to send your dogs. The staff is so friendly, reliable, and caring. It is such a great atmosphere to send your dogs and you know that they are going to be well taken care of. Reggie loves going to Hounds Town every week. Its his favorite place to be.

I love everything about Hounds Town Ronkonkoma. The staff is wonderful & I know they consistently take great care of my dog. Hes been attending day care for almost 6 years & loves to see his pals. It was a very nice clean place, Sarah was great. I love how they painted the yellow and green walls for dogs. I went for my dog interview and soon Ill be going to them for daycare and boarding.

The staff is the BEST!!! Thank you all for taking such great care of Luna and Gracie this past week. They came home exhausted with a Hounds Town hangover!!! We highly recommend taking your pups to socialize with other dogs in the fully interactive daycare. We’ll be back!

My Sadie just spent the week at Hounds Town while we went away on vacation. The staff there took such EXCELLENT CARE of my girl. She has seasonal allergies and began to cough.She was isolated from the other dogs to make sure she wasn’t contagious. They actually took her to my veterinarian. They medicated her daily for her allergies. Fortunately she didn’t have kennel cough. They kept me updated daily and sent us pics of our Sadie. I can’t say enough about Hounds Town and the staff there. I am so impressed with their facility and the treatment she received. Absolutely AMAZING! Love bringing my puppy to Hounds Town! I know she is safe and happy while I am at work Or on vacation. Staff are always friendly and Wheatley has a great time! When we pull up she runs in to go play and didn’t look back and when we get home she is knocked out.

I have been sending my 7 year old dog Joey to Hounds Town 2-3 times a week for the last few months. Whenever I ask if he wants to go to daycare, his ears perk up and he runs around the house in circles excited to go. The staff are so wonderful and caring, and Joey wags his tail walking in to play for the day. At the end of every week he gets an exit bath and hes always happy and tired when he gets home. I definitely recommend HoundsTown to any dog parent ❤

We have been taking our dog (child) to Hounds Town Ronkonkoma for over a year now and we are completely confident and happy with their service. Whether we take him a couple of times a week or we have not taken him in a while the staff still greets him by name and they are always friendly and courteous. My questions and concerns if I have any are always professionally answered. On one occasion we raced in with him for day care but we also brought a bag a food hoping they could help us by keeping him over night because a family member had a medical issue requiring hospitalization and they were able to accommodate us on short notice. I knew during this stressful time that he would be taken care of and I didnt have to worry. We know this pandemic has hit many businesses and with everyone working from home we knew Hounds Town was also hit hard. We had to help our family with their business and we would drop him off to help both us and them. We felt very save entering and picking him up with the new protocols. If I had to say one thing I would like to see is maybe some cameras to watch the dogs on occasion but Hounds Town puts up photos and the whole family likes to see them so we can see how much fun he is having. Taking care of our dogs and keeping them safe is a much needed service and Hounds Town does a great job.

My dogs are in excellent hands at Hounds Town. They get to play all day and sleep in a suite together at night. They love to go to daycare as well. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I can get work done and travel with total peace of mind. Highly recommend!

We use them every year and they are great at getting him in for last minute stays. We have never really had an issue with staff or our dog getting sick or injured. Normally our dog is excited as we approach and is happy when picked up. This time he seemed nervous and sad when picking up. His paws were yellow from urine! Usually we exit bathe him but didnt have time this pick up day. Its evident they are left to run around in their own, and other dog pee and feces all day. I get that its going to happen with several dogs in 1 area left to do what they want. But the faculty should be more diligent and on top of cleaning up when it happens. Especially in our pets sleep areas. Of course dogs smell when working up a sweat, but he smelled really really bad, more than just normal play, and looked neglected. We will still probably give this houndstown location another chance in hopes that this was just a fluke or matter of unusual circumstances this time. However,Im considering looking for a boarder where we are able to tour the facility fully of how the pets are cared for and actually watch our pets on a camera or have pics sent during their stay.

So grateful for the entire Hounds Town staff. We just rescued our CoCo on Saturday and brought her in on Monday. She was nervous but as usual they got her acclimated and she did great!! Even with her spa bath although she did not like the dryer but you all handled that amazingly also.

Our energetic pup loves going to Hounds Town! Any time we need to board him or drop him off for daycare he gets so excited to play with his friends all day. He always comes home happy but exhausted, which reassures me knowing he was well taken care of and playing most of the day.

10/10 would recommend this place! We were so nervous to board our dog, Our boy tends to be picky with certain dogs and has separation anxiety. The workers here took great care of him. They kept him in a small group where he could be happy and playful. After boarding him for about a week, we got him back and he is still our same happy playful dog.

We have been using Hounds Town for over 15 years with multiple dogs. I like the fact that the dogs get to interact with other dogs during the day. Staff is always friendly and professional and I feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care.

Absolutely LOVE everyone at Hounds Town! My pup Lundi adores the staff. He’s so happy entering the door he runs right to the staff, he forgets we are still there to say goodbye. He’s tired when he comes home so I know he had a fun filled day of playing. When we go on vacation I feel comfortable messaging them for updates on how lundi is doing. They’re incredible!

My husband and I would be lost without the amazing people at Hounds Town. Our puppy Doc absolutely loves everyone there and they love him back, genuinely. I regularly show up unannounced and have personally witnessed the awesome staff members (on several occasions) loving on, playing with, and just genuinely giving attention to several of the dogs, including our little guy.We recently had a trip scheduled and plans changed last minute. If we didn’t have Hounds Town to rely on we definitely would’ve cancelled, as I wouldn’t leave my baby with just anyone.ALL the staff members are responsible, patient and kind. Special shout out to Sam, Danielle and Tyler(Doc’s bff). Jackie and Ashly have personally checked in with me to address some concerns I had and have been more than helpful and hands-on.If you want to be able to go to work or travel with your mind at ease there is no better place to leave your furbaby. Doc has the best time playing with his friends and comes home totally pooped. Not to mention the rates are very competitive!What more can I say?? Thanks Hounds Town. Hounds town made Ava’s first day of daycare stress free. They were very patient with her and worked to make her feel comfortable. When I picked her up she happy and playful.The staff was very friendly and the facility was very clean. I am very happy.

Hounds town is the best. They make you feel very comfortable leaving your dog for daycare and overnight boarding. You can request an update and or a picture. Your dog gets the same love there that they get at home. Highly recommend

We have been using Hounds Town Ronkonkoma ever since we rescued our girl at 6 months old. We have used them for doggie daycare and over night boarding. Mabel absolutely loves going. All we have to say is do you wanna go play with friends? Or Hounds Town and this girl knows and runs to the door. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They take great care of my girl and I am confident that all of Mabels needs are taken care of with love. I absolutely recommend Hounds Town Ronkonkoma to anyone who wants the best care for their fur baby when away or working. Only place my girl has been and only place she will go!

Thank you for taking such good care of our Bailey. She gets so excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. Its such a relief going away knowing she is happy and well cared for! The staff is wonderful and we love all the videos and pictures posted on Houndstown facebook page. We check everyday and love seeing Bailey playing with all her friends.

First time for our puppy spending a few nights with all her new friends at Hounds Town Ronkonkoma. Hounds Town posted videos of her time there and she seemed so happy but tuckered out from all her play time now that she is home! . She even got a spa treatment before coming home. Definitely recommend them for your fur babies.Update - 8;2021. Our pup has been to Houndstown numerous times and enjoys it a lot. So glad we chose Houndstown for our her. Safe, reliable and sad she always comes back exhausted and happy! Wouldn’t put her anywhere else.

Hounds Town in Ronkonkoma is great! The staff is super friendly and they are amazing with my chihuahua Gouda. Highly recommended if you commute to the city or even if your dog just needs a day to get some energy out!

Today was our puppy’s first daycare visit - the Houndstown Ronkonkoma staff was amazing -professional -caring -explained everything that was going to happen throughout the day. We picked Phoebe and she had a great day -met new friends and is overcoming her separation anxiety she has with being a “pandemic pup”. Phoebe will definitely be back for more visits. Ive been taking my fur babies to Hounds Town for over 12 years for daycare & over nights. Kirby Ace is my new fur baby & this was his first night away from home. I was not worried as I knew he was in good hands. He even was in the FB video & he was a happy camper :) When you need a home away from home for your fur baby Hounds Town is the only place for your fur baby and the staff REALLY cares!!

It’s never a good day for me when I have to drop my Buddy off a sleep away camp. I do trust that Hounds Town does take really good care of him though. The staff has always been so friendly and happy to see Buddy every time. He must play so hard every day that when he does come home he needs a full day of sleep to recover.

We switched to this one from the one in port jeff because our pup kept getting sick. They have cut the port jeff location out of the franchise and rightly so. WE LOVE THIS PLACE. they take great care of our little man and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Having Hounds Town really puts our minds at ease when we go on vacation. We know when we board him there he will be well taken care of.

My lil pup loved her day full of play. I had to drag her out of the place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and I feel my pup is safe there. I like knowing that I can drop her off in a pinch. She will definitely be back.

Our two dogs come home so happy from a day at Hounds Town. Even the less social one of them has smile on his face! All we have to say is “Wanna go play with the puppies?!?” And they go nuts! We couldn’t be more pleased with Hounds Town. :)

Our pup loves coming here for doggy daycare! As a healthcare worker with long shifts at the hospital I appreciate them being open starting at 6am and being there for us til 8pm during the week when I need them most. It gives me relief that our pup has a place to go have fun and play when we won’t be home for that many hours of the day. She always leaves exhausted and is begging the next morning by her leash to return the next day. It also stood out that one guy knew our dog by name after her first day of daycare even when I had never met that person before. It made me feel like they really pay attention to the dogs and care about what they do. Thank you HoundsTown for making our girl feel so special!!

A couple years ago My wife and I found out about Houndstown from my sister-in-law. We started taking our Sophia there. She loves it and all the people there. She loves her four legged friends as well. When we got our second dog Rocky. We knew without a doubt he’d be going to. He took a liking to the staff and his guy legged friends quickly. Houndstown Ronkonkoma is without a doubt the best place to bring your dog. There are Houndstown all over Long Island. We’ve become really attached to the people who work there. They’ve become part of our family. They take care of our two babies and I wouldn’t trust any other place with my kids. We love all of them there at Houndstown…. Thank you all so much for what you do for us.

Hounds Town Ronkonkoma took wonderful care of my Duke while I was away. He came home happy, calm and exhausted from all the fun. My family loved the daily pictures and videos HT posted. We were able to enjoy our vacation so much more seeing Duke having fun with his new friends. Thank you Hounds Town!

They. are very friendly and show alot of affection for the animals. They allowed me to bring my pup in even though I didnt have proof of booster shots with me. They said they would keep my pup away from the other dogs until I could provide verification. I was impressed by their concern for the animals.

Kira loves going to Houndstown Ronkonkoma. She cant wait to get there in the mornings to play with all the friends shes made. Being with the other dogs has helped with her nervousness too. The staff is attentive and seem to really love all the dogs they take care of. Cant say enough good things about this place!

We started taking our two puppies, Teddy and Ozzie, to Hounds Town as soon as they were old enough! They absolutely adore going and get excited as soon as they hear the words “Hounds Town”. The staff truly cares and my dogs greet them with kisses as soon as they come in. Plus, it is a great way to socialize puppies, especially during the pandemic!

Our piitbull absolutely loves houndstown! We’ve been using them to board our pup for over 4 years now and they been excellent! And when we get him after a trip he absolutely sleeps for 2 days after wards. So they definitely get plenty of play time which is important to us.

Hounds Town Ronkonkoma is incredible. I have been bringing my two dogs there for a few years now and they absolutely love it. All of the employees are so friendly and helpful and my dogs light up when I mentioned the word daycare. I can always rely on them and refer anybody I know.

Today was the first day at Hounds Town for my White lab, Moose. I was nervous dropping him off but he went straight In and didn’t look back. I loved how supportive everyone was , reassuring me that Moose would have a great day. A video was posted on the Facebook page . It made me happy to see Moose playing with the other dogs. There was also a post with pictures of Moose, celebrating his first day . He came home with a report card telling me all his adventures of the day and telling me how well he did. It was a great experience. He came home happy, tired and clean from his visit to the spa. Thank you Hounds Town. I’m sure there will be more visits in the near future.

Today was Charlotte’s first day at Hounds Town Ronkonkoma doggy daycare. The facility is super clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Charlotte is a one year old yellow lab with endless energy. She needs the exercise and socialization that Hounds Town provides. She will be back several times a week.

Where do I begin… I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Houndstown. The owners and staff are awesome. They go above and beyond for the fur babies and their hoomans. My Daisy can’t wait to get there to play. I’ve boarded her there many times and the care is outstanding!! Thank you Houndstown for all you do!!

We love it here, she loves it here. I bring her for socialization and she comes home exhausted and rides out her Hounds Town hangover until the next morning. Only thing, I wish they had cams like a lot of the other places

We absolutely love hounds town. We have been going here for many many years. They are patient and so kind to chase! We love everyone there!We lost our Saxon last year and they went over and beyond to show their love and support to our family! No other words but amazing!

I have left Bella a couple times for boarding and have never had a problem. Ive called at the last minute and there is always room for her. The place is very clean and I feel confident knowing she is well taken care of. Bella is very timid but she seems to do well there with staff and other dogs.

Every time my dog goes here hes excited as we get closer. Ive never had a problem with the staff and Ive left Ody for overnight stays and had grooming done. Its easy for me and my dog loves his visits and isnt that whats important.

Any time we need our dog watched we know hes in great hands. Convenient, affordable, and staff are always very friendly. Plus Sammy gets to interact with other dogs all day, which he doesnt get at home. What else could you want in a doggy daycare?

Ive been to 3 hounds town locations and theyre all great. This one has friendly staff and adorable report cards at the end of the day. My dog had a great time. My one dislike is that they have actual grass instead of turf like our normal hounds town but their baths are only 30% off on rainy days instead of 50% like the other location Ive been to that has real grass. That makes a big difference in deciding where to bring him on rainy days. I also like that other locations have an Instagram so you can see all the dogs playing each day. Its a cute bonus.They also dont offer packages like the other two locations which isnt a huge deal but would be nice to have.

Brought my dog Smokey in yesterday for his first day. The staff was very kind when I called to check up on him mid-day and posted 2 videos of him and other dogs playing on their Facebook. When I picked Smokey up he cried the whole way home because he didnt want to leave! This morning he was looking out the door asking to go back again! I am happy and feel safe leaving my dog with them for the day and will be again!

My furbaby goes to Hounds Town for daycare and the occasional boarding. He is always so happy when we pull up. It has been a good experience everytime and I always have peace of mind knowing my fur babe is safe and having fun whenever hes there ❤

HT is THE BEST place for dogs. My dog loves going, he is always well taken care of & the staff is the absolute best ever. I would not trust anyone else with my dog. We’re life long townies!!

Not sure if my first post went through but we love this place. Our dog always is excited to go and happy at pick up. The people there really seem to care about the animals and are definitely NOT just collecting a paycheck. SO much better than our experience at Pet Smart.

My dog loves going to play at Houndstown Ronkonkoma. When I bring him in he rolls upside down for belly rubs and never looks back at me.When I pick him up he’s clean, tired and hungry.I can do whatever I need to do and know he’s well taken care of.Did I mention the staff is amazing!!

My husband and I started taking Tiger to houndstown about 2 months after we rescued him. He is a energetic boxer/begeal mix and this is the best place to poop him out. He gets super excited when we approach and is absolutely in love with the staff especially Sam!. The parties are his fave. And we choose to only board him at houndstown because hes not left in a caged and we can see pics and video of him on fb while we are away. We have never had a bad experience and he smells so good after his spa baths

My dog always comes home so happy and very relaxed after her stay at hounds town! I highly recommend staying. And a large number of her friends from the Armory go also.

Overall a great experience for my dog Tobin and myself. Staff was welcoming and friendly when dropping her off and picking her up. We were even provided an adorable report card and they posted a video to their Facebook group to welcome her!

I took my dog Samantha to HOUNDSTOWN in Ronkonkoma. I was greeted by Danielle who is very friendly and answered all questions that I had. Everything was explained to me. Your first visit is free and they send you videos Of your dog at play. I love the fact that there’s an outdoor play area for the dogs.I have been to many daycare’s with my dog and never told that the dogs do not go outside .Everyone I-met was upbeat and professional.We even got a report card at the end of the day. I will definitely be returning. I would give it more than five stars if I could. I felt at ease leaving my dog there and you can go anytime no reservations needed. I highly recommend HOUNDSTOWN

Being a puppy owner who works full time, houndstown when I first found them saved my sanity! Crazy Casey plays all day, gets socialized with other dogs and people, then comes home and is happy, exhausted and content. I truly believe it has been a big part of why she is such an awesome dog that she is....Houndstown gets her energy out which makes for a happy dog....and happy momma. I highly recommend!

The staff was absolutely amazing m, kind and patient with my dog Awlins. He was nervous at first and they kindly coaxed him and made him feel so welcomed and calm. He had such a great time playing with new friends. Highly recommend

This is my dogs favorite place we cant even say houndstown and he runs for the door. Daycare hours are great for when I work late,We have boarded, groomed him. The staff is always friendly, I always know my dog is in good hands.

Our dog died while in their care. Yes- She was an older dog but she was not gravely ill when we dropped her off before our week long vacation and she was medically cleared before boarding. The owner is going to reply to this in a defensive manner like in the past when I posted my review to google but I want other dog owners to know our experience. It is not ok for them to try to control the reviews of their business so it looks like they are all positive. There are so many amazing dog sitters out there that are caring and available and are privately run.

Ozzie has been a HoundsTown boy for about 6 years. We can tell he loves going by the happy tail he wags at the mention of HoundsTown. He always goes in happy, wagging and wriggling and always comes out tired.Ozzie enjoys doggie daycare while our family is at work and school. The hours are super flexible and they are open 7 days a week.We also board Ozzie when we’re traveling, which works out perfectly.We were having some training challenges (our fault - not Ozzie’s) so we had him do a 12 day boot camp and that was a major turning point. Our family needed and received training too. Ozzie is a well behaved, happy dog.Rates are reasonable.The staff is wonderful. They have a top notch team of caring people who love our pets.We love HoundsTown and recommend it to anyone who needs services, or who just want to socialize their pet. Give it a try.

This was Kodi’s first experience at HoundsTown. He appeared to have a great time from the welcome video we saw posted online and from his demeanor when we picked him up. The staff was wonderful and responsive to any questions and concerns we had. The facility is very nice and we look forward to bringing him back again soon.

Houndstown Ronkonkoma is the BEST place to leave you dog for day care or boarding. I have been taking my dogs since they were 3 months old and they are now 9, they are very professional and friendly and I highly recommend them. I would never leave my dog any place else.

He had a great time! They seem to really love and care about the dogs. I wish they had live cameras during the day so I could see him, they posted 2 videos which was nice but I was gone 9 days and would have liked to see more. He also had a cough when he came home.

My pup Suzie absolutely loves her visits to Hounds Town USA. The spa baths are reasonably price and she smells so clean when she returns home after a long visit.

This is heaven for dog lovers and the dogs themselves. love the staff and the company and what they offer. No tiny wire kennels that your dog stays in all day, they actually let the dogs have fun interact and play all day, they have nap time and an actual room to sleep in. Staff is so friendly and you can tell they are big dog lovers too.

Reggie has been coming every week for about 2 years and we could not be happier. The staff always greets him like a king and we always leave with an exit bath. The day is filled with lots of activiites, because he is exhausted by the time night comes. We love it at Houndstown and wouldnt consider anywhere else.

This was our first time using Houndstown and I have to say my Myla was so happy!!! We saw videos of her playing and there was only tails wagging all around!!! She came come happy, clean and exhausted 😂😂😂 Very friendly staff!!! We highly recommend

We didnt get to try the place out because your dog needs to be interviewed (understood) but they couldnt do the interview for a week which landed 2 days before I had to travel for business. If my dog failed the interview for any reason I would have been in a real situation. Had to go to another local kennel which worked out perfect. Also they do not allow tours of where your dog is going to be, but offer camera views. Im not sure Ill ever get to try your service, but if I do I hope its up to par with the hoops you put us through.

Louie loves going to hounds town. As soon as we get off the LIE he knows where we are going. If Louie has a “ rough” day of playing and gets dirty, they always make sure he is clean to come home, even though I don’t mind. They are professional and answer all my questions. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend or neighbor for their fur baby.

Fantastic place to have your pets play while youre at work. They also offer other services like baths so they come home squeaky clean. The staff here are great, very professional and friendly.

We have taken our dog here several times and our dog loved it. The last time we boarded our dog was quite a different experience though. Our dog contracted a virus from the facility and became very sick with diarrhea, extreme fatigue, urinating herself while laying down and no appetite. When we called during the week to check in we were not informed of the situation. When we called after our dogs stay to see if they noticed anything, they then mentioned how she was not well during her stay. When we complained to the owners, they did not take our complaint seriously and they were offensive towards us with their responses. They accused us of fabricating our claims. It seems that our dog was just a number and that the care they provide is below reasonable standards. We will not be going back.

My dog loves this place and starts going crazy in the car whenever we get close. The dogs get to play inside and outside and the staff follow the dogs around all day picking up poop and taking pictures for Facebook. I usually drop my dog off in the morning on the way to work and pick her up in the evening. If you dont pick up your dog by 8pm, they just keep it over night and bill you. Ive had to board my dog here twice, and its been no problem. They dont feed your dog though, so you need to bring food if you plan to keep it over night. They also have a bath service.

Love love love this place! My Zeus has missed coming. Mommy has been neglecting his daycare time. But it’s summer and he loves his lazy days lounging by the pool with his fur friends!! Can’t wait for our next visit

My dog gets excited as soon as she sees the trains, because she knows it’s a day at HoundsTown. She always comes home exhausted. They have so many dogs there, and at least 5 employees call her by her name the moment she walks in the door.

The entire staff are friendly and treat you like family .. I know when I drop my baby Bella off she will have a great time and is exhausted when we get home .. plenty of exercise and socialization which our pets need ... I trust the staff with my best friend and never worry. I have peace of mind she is safe

My dog goes to this place several times a week and although it is a little costly, he loves it and it’s worth it. He gets so sad on mornings when we don’t take him. The employees are super nice and treat him like a superstar.

Several years ago I board my dog for a week and they were great the Ronkonkoma hounds town was clean and everything went fine, however I had my border my dog for several days in August 2022 found a place to smell of urine, urine soaked towel in the vestibule and my dog got kennel cough while they’re so needless to say I won’t bring my dog back there again

Just giving praise to Houndstown in Ronkonkoma. My boys Bacon and Blue are always taken great care of even though they can be a bit to handle at times. Went to inquire about boarding, wasn’t allowed to see the facility. They showed me 3 camera views on the lap top but weren’t open to letting me look at all of the screens/rooms. The facility smelled outside and inside. Not friendly employees. Not leaving our dog here!!
