Jimmy and Megan are a wonderful couple and even more outstanding as groomers. A+ service, easy and manageable scheduling, competitively priced, and beautiful results for my pup! The happy and spirited environment made a tedious task of dog care just that much more enjoyable for the dog parents. Thanks again for everything, we will certainly be back and I hope others can benefit from the experience as much as we did!

Five stars and beyond infinity. Where do I start? Since meeting Jimmy at Doggy Diamonds I knew it was a match made in heaven. I have two rough collies and I get them fully cut every three months. With first meeting him I explained once to him how I love them cut and he remembers every time. Chewy and Lena love coming to see him and enjoy being pampered by Jimmy. Jimmy always got a smile on his face and you can tell hes very passionate about what he does. The Garcia family loves you Jimmy and are always a fan.

I recently took my dog, Botwin, to Doggy Diamonds Grooming, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! After seeing a negative review from someone who had a different experience, I felt it was important to share my own positive perspective.From the moment we walked in, the staff at Doggy Diamonds were welcoming and professional. They greeted Botwin with enthusiasm and made him feel right at home. It was clear that they genuinely love dogs, which immediately put me at ease. They took the time to discuss my grooming preferences and answered all my questions with patience.During Botwin’s grooming session, I was impressed by how attentive the groomers were. They handled him with care and made sure he was comfortable throughout the process. Botwin can sometimes be a bit nervous, but the team at Doggy Diamonds used calming techniques that really helped him relax. It was wonderful to see how they bonded with her!When I picked him up, he looked absolutely stunning! I have a four year old 130lb English mastiff that has never been professionally groomed. Typically we would bathe her ourselves but with a rambunctious toddler it was getting impossible to do. I posted on a local FB page looking for groomer recommendations and Jimmy reached out to me personally saying he would be happy to help. I was so nervous to bring our dog in at how she would react since she has never been professionally groomed before. Jimmy and his wife Meagan made me feel comfortable and at ease. He even squeezed us in the next day after we spoke. They took excellent care of our girl. Even got her teeth brushed! She did great, smelled wonderful and the price was extremely reasonable. Luckily we live very locally to doggie diamonds and will definitely be using them every couple of months to keep our girl feeling squeaky clean!

Jimmy and Meagan were absolute professionals. I have a 65-pound Pitbull who is a mush but a big dog who gets very excited. Jimmy and his wife were wonderful with him. They took their time, and made Colt feel safe, comfortable and at home. He came home smelling great, silky and with a little cute tie!!! I cannot rant and rave about how wonderful this couple and owners were. I really recommend going to see them, so your dog can be as happy as mine was. Had a great experience with Doggy Diamonds. The owners are very friendly!You can tell that they really love what they do and they took great care of my dog Abbey while she was there. Right away they gave her treats and she went right in. When I came to pick her up, Abbey was comfortable in her crate smiling. She smelled wonderful, her fur was soft, and they fitted her with this really cute rhinestone decorative collar. She left really happy. You could tell she was feeling cute and that they made her feel extra special. Thank you Jimmy and Meaghan! We will be back again!

This was our first time at Doggy Diamond. It is an excellent ,owner-operated business! Jimmy was accommodating and made our Bella feel right at home! He asked that we drop her off for the day because of her size and now I know why! Other groomers we’ve used have her done in an hour or two, but her coat was choppy, her ears dirty and she was stressed out when we picked her up. At Doggy Diamond her coat was flawless and she was hanging out with the owners as happy as can be when we picked her up. They have us earned our trust and will be Bella’s groomer from now on. Thank you Jimmy for taking such good care of our girl!

I dont normally leave reviews, but felt compelled to point out execptional work & can tell when people love their jobs. I called at the last minute on a Saturday, my only day off, my dogs were in dire need of some grooming. The staff was very accommodating. Had both dogs nails trimmed & nice bath for my older female lab mix. I couldnt be happier with the results. A+. I could tell they took their time with her & was pleased to hear she had behaved nicely for them. My older dog, has her moments, lol. Just wanted to extend my sincere thanks for your professionalism & will definitely be returning for some routine grooming. I would strongly recommend their services for your pet grooming needs. I have two dogs a golden and a lab. Both dogs love Jimmy. The golden loves to be pampered and always smells and looks sharp when he leaves. Tried here for a last min cut. Said one price. When picking him up said it’ll be another $25 bc he needed extra care to handle. I felt this wasn’t ok when I was told a price before engaging in the service, not that there would “add ons” if they felt appropriate to do so. When I wasn’t okWith the additional price, they proceeded to tell me ok this is the last cut, don’t come back.I said that’s fine. I’m sorry you feel that way.I just felt all charges or possibility of charges should be discussed prior to handing off my dog.Then they proceeded to tell me yea that’s probably why the last place lied about him needing shots, they didn’t want him back.I was really taken aback by this comment. He’s a doodle. lol take it easy. I’m sorry you wanted to charge me more and I wasn’t ok with it. No need to take shots at my dog. So rude and unprofessional, the both of them. Def wouldn’t recommend .

Been going here for years and have never had any issues. Our two pups always come out happy, smell good and are cut perfectly everytime. I have small dogs and with other groomers have had many incidents where they came out looking like little rats LOL but Jimmy and his team always give them the perfect cut! And my little Zoey who is usually nasty with groomers never gives them a problem there. Highly recommended

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Doggy Diamonds. Jimmy is absolutely amazing. My boyfriend has been bringing his dog there for years so I started bringing my dog as well and they go together. They make the process so easy from start to finish. Within two hours both dogs are groomed and ready to come home. We get an appointment within a few days, and the prices are very reasonable! You can tell the dogs are well taken care of while they are there. My parents now take their dogs there as well. I highly recommend!!

I am always extremely satisfied with the work the staff does at Doggy Diamonds. Always so friendly and show true compassion and care to the dogs. True animal lovers know your pets are another family member, just with a lot more hair. We care about how they get treated and want the best for them ,this is why I highly recommend Doggy Diamonds. I have been a dog owner all my life. I only recently started using Doggy Diamonds and have been with them for my 4 little dogs for about a year now. I have 4 different breeds, all ages and temperments although, all of them are sweet. One of my pups has anxiety when leaving our home so I groomed him myself. Due to a recent shoulder replacement, I had to take Cooper to a groomer.. and...NOT ONE SEIZURE !!! Jimmy and Megan have a nice little business. They are dependable and trustworthy and both are such dog lovers. The cuts are perfect, they come home relaxed and smelling and looking great! We also love Jimmy and Megan and I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I come here with my Havanese dog Joy whenever Im visiting LI to see my mom. Everyone there is so kind and wonderful with my little Joy and she always looks so cute and clean after her haircut!

Jimmy & crew from Doggy Diamonds are the most caring & loving animals lovers around. They treat their animals with love & affection and they love coming to get top shelf treatment. Been coming for years and both my elderly dogs were treated & groomed to perfection. Summer & Scruffy smelled so good and looked amazing every time they went. Doggie Diamond is by far the best dog grooming shop that we’ve ever been to! From the time when you were scheduling your appointment until you walk in the door you have A warm professional feeling. The shop both looks and smells extremely clean and sanitary. Jimmy the owner, and his entire staff are very polite and compassionate to both us and our family pet. From the moment they take Molly from us they show her the same affection and concern that we do at home. Jimmy always takes us on time and doesn’t rush The visit. He also charges an excellent price for the wash, cut, dry, and nail clipping which they do every time. The styling also lasts a long time compared to other groomers. All of our friends and relatives say how are young an amazing molly looks after she is groomed. Jimmy also went out of his way as best as he could during Covid, to accommodate our needs. In short they love animals and this is the only place we would take our family Pet.

Jimmy is great always super helpful and considerate of what works best for me and my dogs! Did a great job and happy with the qualtiy of the wash and my dogs are happy to be smelling better and having softer fur!

Nobody could cut my pugs nails. Had three other groomers tell me they couldnt do it. Jimmy is so good with my pug she trusts him. I can tell by the way my dogs behave they love and trust these people! What more could you ask for? They are phenomenal with both my 10 year old pug and now my dachshund puppy. Quality work and trustworthy people! Dogs are the best judge of character and my doggies love them! I wouldnt use anyone else!

I love this place but not as much as my Bubba! He literally knows when we are on the way to the groomers and gets so excited. I’m very particular about who I leave my dog with and I feel completely comfortable leaving him with Jimmy and Meagan. Doggy diamonds is great and has been for years. I’ve been using them for 10-15 years, brining both of my pits who aren’t the most well behaved. Jimmy(owner) and his staff are always very professional and transparent. I have never had an issue and my pits always come back looking and smelling great !When I tell my dogs, we’re going for a haircut and bath, there excitement is through the roof, and sometimes I have trouble getting them to leave there having so much fun.Would give 10 stars if I could !!!

I used Doggy Diamonds today for the first time for my two dogs and I could not be happier. Jimmy could see my dogs were nervous being in a new shop and he was fantastic. The staff did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone looking for pet grooming. Top notch!!!

OH how I love this place and Jimmy and his Fiancé. I got my little Oliver when covid first started and it was hard to find a groomer with everything shut down. I checked reviews online and still contacted them and they were able to take my little pup at their house. Has to be hard trying to pay two mortgages on a home and business while not having as much business but they were determined to stay in business and indeed by how great they were and professional at their house I have been using this great establishment and wouldn’t go anywhere else.My pup loves this place and he feels so comfortable there. I love the cuts they do and have always been nice and accommodating for me. Last minute appointments and so pleasant.My business stays here as they treat my pup like family.

Jimmy and staff are the best. I come from Smithtown to go to them. My pup is VERY skittish and doesnt like anyone- she goes to him and everyone at Doggy Diamonds without any hesitation. Love this place and HIGHLY recommend them. Keep up the great work!!

We have been using Doggie Diamonds/Jimmy for over 12 years! Never 1 complaint. Jimmy and Meghan are the nicest and most professional people. My bulldog loves them both. I would leave him with them if they offered boarding. They always do the best job with him and he cant wait to get thru the front door to greet both of them!

I have two dogs, one of them 120Lbs and have had issues with other groomers in the past. Once I met Jimmy and realized how great they are I will never go anywhere but Doggie Diamonds again. If go there ask for Jimmy. He is amazing.

I had SUCH an amazing experience at doggy diamonds! I have a bully/shitzu mix that grows long, course hair when I don’t have time to get him groomed. I have to say, I let him go a little too long without a cut when I decided to bring him to Jimmy. I’ve had issues with groomers in the past, because my dog is strong and hyper and is difficult to control. I’d often get him back all botched up with spots missing. Jimmy at Doggy diamonds was the first to actually give him an all around amazing cut, and even added a little bow tie. He looked so adorable!

If could give more than 5 stars, I would because this place is amazing! They take such great care of my pups and they look so happy after their grooming. Jimmy always does an incredible job and has incredible customer service. I wont take my pups anywhere else 🐶

Thank you so much Jim,when I use to come to your house when you was a little boy and your brother got a husky terrier with pretty blue eyes and it cost $4000 and oh I thought you were crazy, every two weeks I came you had a new dog.The whole family loves dogs.When you told me that you were gonna open up a store and you were 19, it had something to do with animals I wasn’t surprised, in four weeks we had a store opened.I am so proud of you. What young boy that age opens a business and sticks with it for 15 years, he’s so happy with what he does and not making any money because he doesn’t charge enough money. I walk in there you still have has that big smile on your face on the day that you open that place. When the Pandemic hit and they shut you down you still stuck with it. You sat around and waited for four and five months, most people shut their businesses and I didn’t go back, but you didn’t you reopened. That’s why you’re dealing with somebody who knows who loves what they are doing. Please don’t go out of business because I will have to learn how to cut and shampoo my own dogs because I would never take her to anyone but you. I heard some terrible stories. I know what do you do what you do,but I know your heart I’ve been known you since he was six months old. I love you with all my heart and I want to thank you. Meghan you’re the best you always answer for me, you’re so sweet. He couldn’t ask for a better partner and a better wife to be I love you. I love you both very much. God bless Doggy Diamonds.

We’ve been going here since my dog was a puppy and he’s 13 now. He’s a very scared and bratty pomapoo and we have not once ever had a bad experience with him here! At least 10 years and he’s always excited to go inside and has never come home with even a single scratch or irritation on him. He’s always happy when we drop him off AND pick him up. Jimmy and the rest of the workers here CARE about these animals and it shows in their work. I would highly recommend this groomer to anyone and will always bring my dogs here. Plus, they make my pup look soooo handsome!

Edit: 10/17/22I have been going to Doggy Diamonds for more than 8 years now! I have large fur babies, a Boerboel, Great Dane and a mutt. Jimmy takes exceptional care of all 3 of my dogs. My mutt is 12+ and he runs into see Jimmy. He used to be scared of the 5+ places I went before finding Doggy Diamonds. He even used to be afraid of the blower. He completely trusts Jimmy and is no longer afraid. My mastiff doesnt like men but he LOVES Jimmy ❤️. It takes time to bathe them and allow them to dry, clip nails and clean ears. I plan my day accordingly and wash their bedding while theyre there. Of course I expect my dogs to be crated while at a groomer! If they werent, who knows what may happen! Its a safety measure. Jimmy and Megan are true dog lovers! Im a customer for life and through multiple dogs!.If you have ever been to a bad groomer, you will understand why Doggy Diamonds is the complete opposite! Needless to say, the prices are beyond fair!I absolutely love Doggy Diamonds! I have looked all over for a groomer that wasnt afraid to work with large dogs. I am the former owner of a Rottweiler/Bernese mountain dog mix. He was our beloved Duke. As Duke got older, I was being charged for a geriatric dog as other groomers. They were afraid to cut his nails at Petco because he was big. They charged me and extra $50 at Petco just to brush him. Ridiculous. Jimmy at Doggy Diamonds is excellent in his pricing. He and his workers would load Duke back into my SUV when he could no longer jump in the back. Duke loved going to see Jimmy.After Duke passed I continued to bring my pittie mutt, Peanut and our new dog, LT, a South African mastiff. Both my fur babies start crying as I get close to the storefront. They LOVE Jimmy and you can tell just what a dog lover he is! Jimmy is the kindest person. I never wait to bring them in. My Peanut used to shake at other groomers. He happily runs into Doggy Diamonds with his 154 lb brother, LT. They come back home smelling great, with clean ears, nails clipped and no dog stink! I cant say enough positive things about Doggy Diamonds. I will never go anywhere else. I have been using them for more than 5 years.The store is also clean and well kept inside. There are cookies for your fur babies to sample! If youre my mastiff, you think theyre only for you!

Highly recommend this place! I have an English bulldog and let’s just say he’s not the easiest lol. Jimmy and Meagan do such a great job and my boy literally loves going to get groomed and they do such a great job ever time. I wish you could rate more than five stars, I would!!!!

I take my 2 dachshunds here for baths and nail trimming. They do not do the grindfor nails only the cut with the clippers. Very efficient service and they are super friendly!

Not very understanding and unprofessional people. I had set up an appointment for my dog and the day of the appointment I had a family emergency, I called to ask to reschedule and they told me because my dog was a first timer there that wouldn’t be able to reschedule or take my dog in at all. They didn’t inform me about this “policy” before hand so the down payment I had already paid was for nothing. Very rude to someone who would like to bring their dog to their establishment. Unless you are a usual customer they don’t care.

Jimmy is the best groomer around, took great care of my dog. Always puts the extra caring and the dog always comes home. Smelling great would recommend this place to everybody. I know great place.

Diamonds and Doggies is absolutely the best. All of the people are fantastic, my whole family goes there twice a day to see the puppies when we are in Florida. They treat us like family.Also, we have bought two dogs there and they have been healthy, happy and continue to be perfect. They have given perfect advice on purchasing the dog and things could not have gone smoother. CAVEAT EMPTOR LISTEN CAREFULLY!!! Read ALL reviews on this business! My experience was limited to merely making an appointment (thank goodness bc reading the reviews scared the bajesus out of me) and wherein the owner requested a $25 + tax deposit for a grooming appt on Saturday that was made on Wednesday. I immediately asked how long I had to cancel the Saturday appt. for me to get my deposit back and he said I had til Friday morning to cancel. I called two hours after making the appointment (on Wednesday) to cancel as after reading the reviews I was horrified to bring my dog there and the owners “fiancé” advised me there was no refund policy and was rude and belligerent and down right nasty!! The owner called back denying that he said I could cancel 24 hours before the appt and was as rude obnoxious and nasty as his “fiance”. I am disputing the charge with my cc company and hope that everyone thinks twice about frequenting this business!!!

After going from groomer to groomer, I finally found my forever place!This has to be the best place so far!The staff is simply amazing and my pup looked simply adorable after they cleaned him all up!Im so happy I checked them out, it was their past reviews that drove me to give them a whirl.And Im SO happy I did!!

The owner, Jimmy, cares more about his business practice then the dogs well-being. Complete lowlife! Do not use. Did not tell me that it would take almost 4 hours for my dog to be groomed and didn’t seem to care that he would be in a crate once I picked him up and brought him home until 8 o’clock at night. All he cared about was that he had nine other dogs to do and three people working. If you have that many dogs and so Few people working he shouldn’t have told me that he had availability. What a joke! AND! On top of all that, once I arrived he brought my dog in the back and wouldn’t give him to me until I paid full price for the services that were not completed! Winston was soaking wet when I picked him up

Doggy Diamonds is a very well owned clean environment and well trusted place to bring your dog. Its the only place I bring my pug with no issues, every other place doesnt want to do it and my dog acts like a saint when they do it v.s the other places Ive been.

Jimmy, Nick and the entire staff are wonderful. I have never, ever had an issue with them being rude. Quite the contrary, they are kind and respectful of me and my pup. They do a wonderful, professional job when they groom my Shih Tzu.

So very upset. New to area, called and was pleased to be fit in for same day call. 4 hours later my dog was still not groomed, after I stressed the urgency my dog was done in 30 min. Just for us to get home and his eye is swollen shut!! He has never been like this and will have to visit vet tomorrow.

They treat my dogs with respect and you can tell by how my dogs react. My girls always come home looking and smelling great. If you’re looking for someone to groom your pooches I definitely recommend Jimmy and Doggy Diamonds!

We dropped my dog off yesterday. We came back the shop was closed. We could see our dogs collar and lease on the counter. We called the cops. They told us they “lost our dog”. Then the owner starts to get angry at us. They LOST MY DOG! Something sketchy is going on at this business. We still have NOT FOUND MY DOG. This is absolutely ridiculous. They should be permanently closed!

A pet owners nightmare. Yesterday we dropped Casey off at a different groomer. When we went to pick her up shop was closed. We could see her leash on the counter. We called the police the owner comes down. States he has no idea where the dog is. After a long investigation with the police. We went home without our dog. We have an idea what happened. We will be following up with the ASPCA THE BBB AND A LAWYER. I went just to get my dogs nails clipped and both the man and women that were there on a Sunday was very rude. Because they were rude I left and took my mini whoodle somewhere else

I will never bring my dog here again. Very rude and disrespectful. They injured my dog and will not take responsibility for it. The groomers here can not be trusted. Besides my animal getting hurt Ive heard of others having their beloved pet injured by the groomers here. Go someplace else. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Jimmy and his wife could not be nicer.I called and they fit me in for my Puppy Chesters first grooming.They did a beautiful cut. I will be going back.Thankyou both.

Great place I have 2 large dogs and they always come out looking their best. Matting and knots all gone and they have that new dog smell that lasts a long time. Very happy with how quick and kind they are

Everytime I am next to this location I have heard screaming of a male and dogs crying. I really hope nobody supports this place and stop bringing your dogs !! The last time I brought my dog in when I picked her up she seemed terrified and wouldn’t let us pet her for hours. Do not bring your animals here.

It’s a great place to bring your dog everything just seems to go right, I bring my puppy there all the time and he’s just so excited to be there. It’s nice to know I can leave my dog in good hands.

I have been going to these guys SINCE THEY OPENED with my 2 dogs they are wonderful and do an amazing job The owner Jimmy is an amazing and caring man and goes above and beyond for all of the animals in his care.

THE WORST brought my dog in at 10.15 .the first one there we were told to come back at 12 :00 the foul mouth nasty young man could not give me a straight answer as to why she was not done when all the other dogs that game in after her wile i was standing there were done and gone. they did not give her a bath and the cut was very bad ( had to have it fixed ) the young man was yelling at my wife on the phone when she tried to get some answers DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE

Jimmy does a great job grooming my Standard Poodle, and Belle likes him. He has a lot of patience in grooming my pup who is not very cooperative when it comes to shaving her feet, and I appreciate that. Belle always looks stunning after being groomed by Jimmy and his products smell wonderful. Jimmy’s new shop is very nice.

100% would NOT recommend this place. The owner is extremely disrespectful has absolutely no sympathy for the animals there. He was very irresponsible with my dog. He “lost” my dog and when he came to investigate with the cops... Jimmy was extremely rude and disrespectful and completely unsympathetic as to where my dog is. Her collar and leash were on the groomers table and my dog was not there. If i could give negative stars for a review I would. This business should be shut down and you all should reconsider who grooms your dog/cat if you truly care about your animals. I have never met a groomer in my life who loses your dog. Completely unprofessional and should get his shop taken away.

I couldnt be happier with the personal service at Doggie Diamonds of selden. The owner Jimmy is very accomodating and I have been a customer for more than 15 years. I used to go to another place within a pet shop but they were terrible. My dog came home a nervous wreck and the owner actually suggested I give him a tranquilizer before bringing him in.Not wanting to do that I took the recommendation of my co-worker and went to doggie diamonds and I have never looked back. My dog is beautifully groomed and comes home relaxed and actually doesnt show any signs of stress at all.I have recommended Doggie Diamonds to anyone who cares to have their dog treated well. This is the best local groomer I have found. You can get easy appointments, they work fast and the prices seem to be much cheaper than everywhere else. The quality and consistency of the cut is iffy though but the latest one was the best. Different groomers maybe?

Had been using this groomer for years until now. Brought my 3 shih tzu’s in for grooming and was told at pickup that groomer cut my one dog’s eye on lower lid. Accidents happen I understand but next day injury site was oozing and eye looked bad so I made owner aware and asked if they had someone they’d like me to see or if I should go to my own vet, Jimmy (the owner) said to have my vet check her out.When I showed up with the bill for $142 he asked me for a few days to figure out how to go about reimbursement.A few days later he called to tell me that his “insurance” which I still question he has was too expensive and that the only thing he would do is offer credit for future grooming but added that none of his groomers will touch my dog again in case they hurt her AGAIN. So he basically offered credit that I cannot use and proceeded to tell me that I should actually split the cost with him for HIS MISTAKE which I likened to my asking someone I hit with my car to split their medical bills with me even though I hit them. If it wouldn’t cost me more money I would sue this business but it’s just not worth it for $142 so I’ll just warn everyone I know.So buyer beware...they likely have no pet groomer’s insurance and when they make a mistake and injure your pet they DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILTY!
