I appreciate the varying price options as well as food options for our pets. I love that they have some higher end food as well. They could improve on the number of staff in the store that are attentive to the customers.

The grooming salon accepted us as a walk-in for a nail trim without a wait. It was all done in 10 minutes and it came out great. Staff was very friendly and knew exactly how to approach my dog who is nervous around strangers.

My go-to store. They have multiple options for almost any pet need. The self-wash for dogs is great, we were able to figure out how to use it pretty easily with the signs. And the staff is always friendly when checking out!

My fiancé and I took our rescue dog, Gypsy, to wash her down in the bathing area as we typically do after hiking which is SOOOOO convenient for those who hate the entire experience of bathing at home. Supplied with shampoos that do the trick (we bring our own, our choice but the shampoos they have are great too). I sent my fiancé over to check if they had any time to trim her nails and maybe a quick tidy up on her grinch feet and Anastasia took her onto the table. She was so warm, friendly and you can really tell she takes pride in what she does. My dog isn’t usually a fan of people touching her, let alone her feet but she responded very well and was almost showing off her “pedicure” later on when we got home. She knocked out right when we got home from all the pampering! Will 100% be back. Thank you ❤️

OK we have adopted another greyhound. We come here to give her baths and buy supplies for her, snacks, food that type of thing. This store is super well run and very well stocked. The staff is exceptional, always super friendly. They have these cute pet snacks.

I Ordered a few items on line. My order was ready very quickly. I texted that I was here and someone came out immediately with my items. With a smile! Prices were very reasonable. Quality was great!

I go to pet supplies plus Smithtown at least once a week to get my dog food, treats and crickets. It’s always a comfortable and happy environment. The staff is always kind and ready to help if needed. There’s one specific employee, Nick, that I really have to mention, because he really just puts a smile on my face every time I’m there. If I’m not smiling when I walk in the store.. I’m definitelySmiling when I leave. He is always SO kind and his energy is unmatched! So, thank you Nick, and thank you PSP for being the best pet store in town!

Seemed like a nice store but saw one of the managers touching the employees inapropriately and they seemed kinda uncomfortable. I dont know his name but it was some tall white guy. Not sure how I feel about shopping somewhere where someone likethat works, made me very upset

Very easy place to get my boxers nails done and then self wash him. Quick, clean and relatively cheap. Been going for years but finally decided its worth putting up a review. 100% recommend for anyone, even their grooming service is good.

I go to the Smithtown store for grooming and use Anastasia. She does a great job on my pup and my pup loves her. If you are not happy with anything she will correct it before you leave. The store also has a wide variety of toys for all dog sizes and treats. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for any product!If you can’t leave the house, they do deliver! The cashier Logan made my whole week, the customer service was through the roof the second I walked in I was greeted with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome and when I couldn’t find my item she easily directed me towards the item I needed, even seeing how she interacted with the customers in front of me on line was astonishing. Get this girl a promotion!!!

I have a dog with a lot of food sensitivities. This store carries a good selection of novel proteins for people with pets like mine. My dog had not been eating and I was able to find a food that she did thankfully! Good selection and very helpful friendly employees.

Order online was great. They called when something was out of stock with a suggestion. I actually wound up saving money. Pick up was great, I was in and out without waiting.

This is a great store overall from pet food to grooming! the staff here is very professional and knowledgeable and the grooming services are fantastic.I always use Kathleen for grooming my pup. She is great and I highly recommend her! you should come on in here; plenty of toys and treats for your pet at reasonable prices !

Pet Supply Plus in Smithtown is a wonderful place to shop for your friends. They are so helpful. I just love going there.

I am so glad that I stopped in at this Pet Supplies Plus store, as I have not been here for several years. Anthony, the manager of the fish department was very helpful and knowledgeable. After answering my questions about a rope fish that I spotted in one of the tanks, I choose to buy it and is now happily living with his/her new tank mates. Thanks very much Anthony, I will return again!

All of the staff at this store are awesome, especially Chris, Dillon and the other guys that helps whenever I go to the store. Trust and believe that I am usually in this store perhaps every two or three days to get feeders for my fish. These guys are always friendly and helpful. They create a kind of family atmosphere that is warm and inviting. Well done guys, I had a great 2016 shopping experience in your store and Looking forward to 2017.

This Pet Supplies Plus is in a great location and is very convenient; however, I usually have to go out and of my way to the Commack store because Smithtown does not have a variety of flavors or is never stocked. When I ask workers questions about cat food, I am told “I only know about dog food,” or just shrugs. I am switching to a pet food subscription.

I have been coming to the Grooming Salon here for quite some time now. My 3 dogs always get their hair done by Cat. She is EXCELLENT! She is very patient and gentle with my 3 fur babies, and always does a great job. Additionally she is very accommodating with her appointments.

I had a very unpleasant interaction, yesterday, 3/31/22 at this store. This has never been a problem before but I am appalled by the way I was treated. I have a rescue dog that came from a hoarding situation who is an absolute sweetheart, but has some behavioral issues we are working on. I enlisted the help of a highly regarded professional trainer and we started using an e-collar. The cashier noticed the e-collar on my dog and started to berate me exclaiming that what I am doing is torturous and cruel, and that he would never do that to an animal he loved. The woman at the other register chimed in, agreeing with him and further berated me. He continues on telling me that dogs go into cardiac arrest from these collars. The interaction was entirely unprofessional. Someone with no knowledge of e-collars, how they actually work, and how to talk to a customer should keep their unsolicited and uneducated opinions to themselves.I can’t reply to the pet supplies post beneath, but I will let you know I called the same day to file a complaint with no compensation or solution. Merely a, “we will follow up on it.”

Excellant shopping experience. so many wonderful products. Store even called to help with online order one item had to be subsituted for another color. pickup was quick & easy. Great staff.

The groom is generally fine but they take FOREVER because they just keep leaving your dog to sit there while they do other dogs’ nails, ears, etc. So they’re touching like 20 other dogs while they’re grooming yours and they just leave him in the kennel in between. Highly stressful for the dog. It ends up taking 2 hours for a groom (most other places I’ve been to take 45 minutes). Cheaper than some places, but worth going somewhere else if you don’t want to stand around for 2 hours.

I take my dog to get groomed there regularly. The staff is always friendly and they always do an amazing job.

Unacceptable customer service. Whoever runs the store needs to train your workers to stop fooling around. And if you guys want to make weird faces towards customers at least WEAR your MASK so I don’t have to see it. What a surprising shopping experience, THANKS 😊

Had a terrible experience with the manager named James. Hes was rude and childish to my wife and I. Pretty sure he was drunk or on drugs. Acted lazy to our requests and was just plain mean. Rest of the staff was great.

They have a decent selection for all pets. Decent prices on most things some stuff was a little bit more expensive than other pet stores but their sales are good and their clearance table has a lot. They sell some animals mainly fish and reptiles.

My go to bet store for anything I need for my cats. They have the largest supply of cat food i have seen anywhere (brand and flavor wise). They have healthy brands of food, as well as specific types (kitten, senior cat). They can order you cases of food if you need it as well. They are also cheaper than PetSmart and PetCo. Cheaper than any pet store I have been too. Id give 5 stars but sometimes if I go to the store in the middle of the week (tuesday-thursday), they dont always have the flavor my cats eat.

They always have the items I need and they staff is always friendly. I dont love the smell but it is a pet store so Im not saying its a problem. Convenient location but the cashiers can be sort of slow.

Wow I am so disappointed with this store, I use to go here all the time for my groomings when Peri the groomer was there. This new groomer is horrible. My dog was trembling when she left and for the next few days she was walking with a limp. Not sure what happened but I will not be going here again FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!Also on top of everything else this new groomer made me think that Peri would be grooming my dog until I came and picked her up and started complained about that conditioning of my dog and the haircut (very choppy) she informed me then that Peri was not grooming anymore.PS. She lied about that last part too I found Peri she is still in the area if anyone was wondering because I heard from a few people she said the same thing to them just looked down main st thats all i have to say

Went to this store today looking for the same brand of dog food in a weight loss formula..I was pushed to buy a brand which I was told to be of better quality and they would take off $5.. He also told me he is the nutrious employee of the store when I got the bag home I noticed it would be expired in 3 weeks..I returned it and I am calling corporate tomorrow

The small bag of oxbow oat hay I bought here was brown and stale. If you have rabbits, there are probably other places with fresher stock.

So we came here adopt a cat..we showed up Monday the adoption center was closed..so we showed up Tuesday and there was a paper that said will reopen at 115 we showed up at 1150..very unprofessional..they are only open for few hrs..VERY DISAPPOINTED..

Most unfortunate that where I now live, there is one on Seneca, SC,It offers no incentive for me to shop there. Prices are ridiculously high on pretty much everything. Not at all like this one.

Horrible customer service was spoken to poorly by a wise young girl. I complained to the manager and received the same wise treatment. All I wanted to do was exchange an item for the larger size and they would apply the same discount that I was given.update as of 8/3/20 went to the store so they could make it right as per your response. I received the same smart aleck customer service from Jenna and the manager Leanne. They told me the response is automated and no one cares. I have been in business in this area for over 32 years and I can tell you for sure its employees like these that drives customers away. I spend over $100 a month on dog food a lone. there are plenty of places to buy pet products no need to shop here any more.

Solid store with good selection, especially of niche dog foods. They sometimes run out of stock of our dogs food though and dont always know when itll come back in stock.

5 stars to the LI Feline Adoption Center! I was there when Mrs. Suarez stopped by. She was allowed in even though we were still cleaning. The manager talked to her about all the cats and which ones might be a good fit for a home with a young child. She’s never been rude to any customers. There are some cats that are bonded and should be placed in a home together, but Mrs. Suarez was only interested in one.

My fiancé went into this pet supply plus to go look at the kittens for adoption. The lady working for the adoption part of the store was very rude and speaking to my fiancé in a nasty tone and said none of the cats (out of the many cats and kittens) didn’t seem like a good fit for us. Seemed like all she cared about was keeping all the cats and kittens there for herself and didn’t seem interested in finding these cats an actual good home. Lady was definitely a weirdo and out of her mind.
