I brought my almost 8 year old Frenchie here as a new patient and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everyone was so friendly and Dr. Alex was wonderful. She’s so knowledgeable and friendly. She spent so much time with us and answered all my questions. She was so attentive and genuinely cared about my boy. I would highly recommend them!

As always, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog, Mack. They are the best! No comparison with the quality of care that you receive from Dr. Alex and her team! The best, most comprehensive, knowledgeable, and caring Vet in NY State.

My cat JinJin can be a handful yet he is welcomed as if he were the best behaved boy in the world. I am so thankful for Dr. Alex, Carrie and all the vet techs who show such compassion and care to my special guy.

Dr. Alex and her staff are the very best. Ive been considering a move, but it always has to be within a certain distance of Earth Angels because I would not take Peanut anywhere else. He will be 12 in September, and I honestly dont think I would still have him by my side without Dr. Alex and every single person who works at Earth Angels. Im new to the area, and Earth Angels came highly recommended to me. When I made the appointment, they couldnt fit me in as soon as I wanted, but the wait was not too long. When they got a cancellation days sooner, they called me and gave me the opportunity to take that appointment, and I was very grateful. I had the best veterinary experience Ive ever had (and Ive had pets for over 50 years. The vet and the techs were all very sensitive to the temperament, personality and needs of my dog and treated her with care and understanding. Everything was explained to me thoroughly and my options were presented clearly. My choices for my dog were respected and supported. Im very pleased.

Dr. Alex is a great veterinary doctor. She is kind, caring and very thorough. She always listens to all our concerns and gives her professional feedback. We are so thankful for her care with Ollie. Weve only been there once.We were squeezed in so we waited a long time, but we waited in an exam room. Everyone was super nice. They gave us a towel which made Rocky so happy. He slept most of the wait, and when it was Rockys turn to be seen, they took their time and answered all my questions. I feel like hes in good hands there and they arent quick to suggest poisons that most conventional vets recommend.

So grateful to have found (through a friend) this wonderful practice. Dr. Alex, Amanda and Noel were thoughtful, patient and communicative on the first visit with my anxious pup Dill (and my anxious self). At no point did I feel rushed or unheard. I was so impressed with how they handled every single moment of our visit. The front desk staff was also lovely. Thank you to everyone at Earth Angels!

Otto is a difficult pup. He does not do well at the vets but the staff at Earth Angels works with us to make it as easy and comfortable for him (and us!) as possible. Thank you!!

We brought our cat in because she was licking her fur off. We thought it was anxiety. The vet found out it was fleas! We got medication for her fleas, her dry skin and her anxiety and a plan to get her weight down. The staff treated her gently and she seemed very calm with them. She got her nails clipped and her butt shaved. We were all very happy with Earth Angel and I have been recommending them to all our cat owner friends.

Earth Angels staff and Dr. Alex take the time to listen and they are very knowledgable and helpful. My dog becomes anxious during visits to the vet, and they treat him with kindness and compassion. Earth Angels is the best!

I’m so happy we decided to bring our baby Donnie here. Dr Alex is super nice and I think Donnie likes her even though she had to draw blood and poke around lol. I visited for the first time today and was very impressed with the entire staff, and I knew my pup was in the right hands and look forward to seeing everyone at our next visit. They took excellent care of my senior dog and handled him with care and professionalism .

I can’t even begin to explain how much I love Earth Angels and Dr. Alex! I have two shepherds Max and Bayou and she has always been absolutely amazing with them! Dr. Alex has seen Bayou since she was 9weeks old and Max when I got him at 2.5years, Max was a little nervous his first visit and the staff was so understanding and caring! Bayou had a little emergency almost 4 months ago now and Dr. Alex got her right in and did an amazing job keeping me calm and talking me through the situation! I have been to a few different vets with them (due to work travels) and I can honestly say there is no better vet office than here! They care so deeply about their clients and pets they have! I recommend all my friends and family to come here!! Absolutely the best!!!

Wont take my girl anywhere else! Allie is always so kind and caring, and Dr. Alex always takes her time w me, giving thorough, conversational answers to my questions.

I will forever be grateful to Earth Angels Veterinary Hospital and the wonderful staff. They were the only place in the area that would take my dog after an incident occurred and I needed to get her looked at right away, because her usual vet does not take emergency cases. They took her right away, gave her excellent care and were incredibly sweet and loving towards her. Within hours of me picking her up she was feeling and acting so much better! Highly recommend!

My family has been taking their animals here for years, so when I got my own pet 12 years ago, I started taking her here. I will never take my pup anywhere else because Dr. Alex has so much compassion and expertise. She knows my senior dog’s health history and what’s best for her - she doesn’t try to push any potentially dangerous procedures on me just to make the bill bigger. If you’re looking for a trustworthy vet who both you and your pet will feel comfortable with, I highly recommend earth angel.

After going to three different vets, I finally found one I feel I can trust. They were amazing. I wrote down the time of my appointment incorrectly and showed up 30 mins late. They were very accommodating, and for that I thank them because they could have made me reschedule. After seeing the vet, and talking to her about my concerns i knew that this is where I want to continue coming. I came in thinking I’d spend the money to just do an exam but upon further review we decided to do blood work which I was 100% okay with spending the extra money. I am so happy I found a vet that is knowledgeable and caring. I’m so used to vets just bringing the dogs in for 5 minutes, and clearing them out that I was truly shocked at how long I actually talked to Dr. Barrientos. If you’re in the 845 area I 100% recommend Earth Angels.

I highly recommend Earth Angels. Although there are vets and animal hospitals near me, I drive an hour each way to visit them with my boxer and I am beyond satisfied with every aspect. Dr. Alex and every single staff member provides excellent service 100% of the time.Highly responsive to calls, emails and all my questions. My dog was suffering with painful arthritis but is now doing wonderfully based upon the recommendations of Dr. Alex. She is compassionate and cares about each of her patients and is so considerate with her furbaby parents. She takes her time to answer your questions (no matter how silly you think it may be) and explains everything. I will continue doing the hour drive each way to bring my baby to Earth Angels. If you live in the area (or even out of the area like me) please give them a try!

If I could give more than 5 stars for Earths Angels I would!! Dr. Alex and all of her staff go above and beyond. Weve been very happy with the care our dog has received. Dr. Alex takes her time with our dog and then is very thorough in follow up with us to discuss her and what we can do to help. We especially appreciate that Dr. Alex does not immediately go the traditional medical route or suggest unnecessary testing or procedures, but instead focusing on our dog and her life quality. We love Earths Angels and highly recommend them!!!!

The staff at earth angels are amazing got my boy fudge in last min and stayed open 2hrs late to make sure they could do every thing for him . Alex and her staff are truly angels I would recomend them.hands down 100 % and fudge is feeling alot better

We had our first appointment at Earth Angels this weekend and I was beyond impressed. Everyone from the people answering the phone, coming to my car & the doctor herself, were all amazing. They took their time with me, explained everything as we went through it and put me at ease. The doctor answered all my questions and had the empathy & compassion you would want for the care of your fur baby. I am relieved to know I have found a wonderful place to provide care to my little girl.

Dr. Alex and the staff at Earth Angels have always given my dogs the absolute best of care. I have known Dr. Alex for many years and have followed her as she established her own practice. We still travel hours to see her because her depth of knowledge, caring and treatment protocols are exemplary. Cannot recommend Earth Angels highly enough.

We first used Earth Angels Vet Hospital when our puppy had an emergency and our other vet would not see her. They immediately made room for her and were so caring and attentive in resolving her issue that we switched our other two dogs to their hospital. Since then, we have been very happy with the prompt responses and caring environment that Earth Angels has given us. It is great to have such a team caring for our babies!

This is an excellent animal hospital. Dr. Alex actually spent time examining and observing my cats symptoms instead of just looking at a computer the way so many vets (and human doctors) do these days. She made a customized plan for treatment, and her team has provided exceptional support and follow up.

Ive known Dr. Alex for approximately 20 years, from when she was at Smith Ridge in South Salem.I stopped going there because they were extremely expensive, but it wasnt Dr. Alexs practice. She has always been a very competent, knowledgeable and very compassionate vet. Most recently, one of my dogs was deathly ill with Lyme and I really feel that Dr. Alex and her staff saved her life. I love that shes knowledgeable in holistic medicine as well as conventional treatment, which I think is why my canine baby pulled through. All the staff are compassionate and competent. 😇

Saff was very friendly and helpful. As a new patient, all my questions and concerns were answered. The Dr. was very caring and spent the time to answer all my questions/concerns. The initial physical was very thorough and all of my dogs needs were met. I would recommend Earth angels and give them 5 stars

The level of care and compassion at Earth Angels far surpasses that of any other vet Ive taken my dogs to. They love my animals as much as I do. Dr Alex is the perfect combination of kindness and knowledge, always taking as much time to explain treatment and procedures as is necessary to help me give the best care to my guys. There are many vets closer to where I live, it takes 90 minutes for me to get to Earth Angels but I wouldnt dream of entrusting my dogs to anyone else.

Dr. Alex really took time to explain and offer alternatives for the issue I was having with my cat. I believe this place cares about the well being of animals and their owners, not just running a business and making money.

This was our first visit to Earth Angels, my daughter just came home for Thanksgiving break and got a dog. On the phone the receptionist had been very helpful and understanding. She got me an appointment for 2 days later (quick). When we arrived - they were so kind and easy to talk to. They got this dog on the scale quick and painlessly. Then straight into an exam room. Everyone liked him. New dog ... he was a little unruly. They were ok with that. They copied all his paperwork quickly, answered all our questions. Then we met Dr. Alex ... she was super nice and really good with him. The facility is clean, and comfortable. The whole staff is perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I love Earth Angels. Dr. Alex and all her staff are incredibly helpful. When my dog was very sick I was in constant contact with Dr. Alex and she was very supportive and insightful with her care. Its a very clean, peaceful place to bring your pet and they always have a treat for my dog.

I brought my dog here for the first time because my long time Vet wasnt available in time for annual check up and shots. Im so pleased. I feel the Vet really took great care of my dog, and chose to split up her annual shots into two different appointments rather than giving everything at once. I so appreciate that the concern was for the wellbeing of my dog rather than one of convenience for staff or even for me. I feel she was very well taken care of. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Vet also provided great information about trying to address some of my dogs new fear issues.

Due to the distance between the clinic and where I live, I do phone consults with Dr. Alex. I can not say enough about how great she is. The wealth of knowledge, combined with a caring and compassionate demeanor had me follow her from the previous clinic she worked at to Earth Angels.Dr. Alex patiently explains all there is I need to know and understand about the condition. I highly recommend her.

I love this place! Unfortunately with COVID I havent met Dr. Alex live but she calls after each visit and spends a lot of time with me and all my new puppy questions! Her staff is excellent, which I feel is a reflection of her, so I feel very confident my puppy is in the best care. I cant wait to meet her live, in the meantime I highly recommend this place!

We love Earth Angels! My dog and I travel back and forth between North Carolina and the Hudson Valley frequently. Sometimes we need vet care while we are in NY. Earth Angels always takes the best care of Niki. They can usually see her right away and they offer such loving, excellent care. It is a huge relief to me that I have such a great vet in the area!

Ive been taking my animals to Dr. Alex for years, and I would not think of going to anyone else. Its worth it to me to drive the 70+ miles from New Jersey to see her. She will find things that other vets miss, and come up with the best solutions integrating both holistic and modern approaches. Dr. Alex also provides great behavior advice as well. My Wheaten Terrier Bella, cats Roxy and Shiva all lived long healthy lives thanks to her. She now takes care of my rescue Wheaten Rusty and his new little sister Jolena as well as Gemma our Persian. Lovely facility and great staff too!

I have been using Earth Angels Veterinary Hospital for over the past year. The care is wonderful and the staff is helpful and pleasant. My chocolate lab had been diagnosed by another vet as having a thyroid problem. She was obese, had a dull coat and flaky skin as well as an odor. She had been on thyroid medication for many years. After visiting Earth Angels she was diagnosed as being diabetic. I was I instructed on her diet and she was given insulin and had to have her blood levels observed at home to monitor her glucose. She went from 98 pounds down to her ideal weight of 63 pounds, her coat is shiny and no longer flakes or smells. She is doing great at 8 years old. Plenty of energy and she is a happy dog. I am so grateful to the doctor and staff and highly recommend this practice. They truly care !

The hospital staff and Dr. Alex are great! We brought our sons puppy to see Dr. Alex after he was diagnosed with renal failure and given a few months to live. Thanks to the regimen, medication and supplements she recommended, Clydes condition has stabilized and he is now a vibrant one year old. I recommend this hospital to all my friends and acquaintances.

Very accommodating and professional. Doctor Alex took her time with my cat, really studied her while we spoke. The office was clean and modern and there were no other animals in the reception area, which is good when you have an anxious cat. We were brought right in to an examination room without waiting. Also, when you plan a phone consult, the doctor is available as promised. They really seem to care about my pets.

I have transferred all of my dogs over to Earth Angels, they are amazing so caring and compassionate. They took care of my dog when we found a mass in her mouth and her other vet told us to just let nature take its course basically since she was older. If it werent for Dr. Alex and her team I dont know where my dog would be right now!

The staff here at Earth Angels are so caring. I got turned down by 3 vets one day when I first got my kitten who had an emergency by the way because she didnt have a appointment. When I walked into Earth Angels, they squeezed me in and took me right away no questions asked. Ever since that day I been commited to their place only. Recently my cat needed emergency care on a Saturday. Even though Dr. Alex office was completely booked, they were gracious enough to have him come in to be examined. It was determined that my cat needed to be monitored over night. Her staff made the whole process as stress free as can be. He had a perineal urethrostomy procedure at Dr. Alexs office and was back to his old self in no time. A huge thank you to Dr. Alex and her staff for their excellent care!

I brought my female German Shepherd, Raina to Earth Angels for two reasons. She had been previously diagnosed with IBD and I was seeking a second opinion in addition to a long-term treatment plan. She was also having additional problems associated with her diagnosis when I initially brought her in. Dr. Alex examined her, recommended additional tests and asked numerous questions in an effort to establish the best treatment plan. Based upon a medication Dr. Alex prescribed, the additional problem Raina was having associated with her IBD was totally resolved in less than 24 hours, and she was back to her old self. Im still awaiting test results, however Im very optimistic and confident that Dr. Alex will have a long-term treatment plan that will enable Raina to live a normal life throughout her remaining years.

We had our first visit with Dr. Alex to treat our baby Molly who was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma cancer in her leg. Dr Alex and her staff were so compassionate and kind to us! Thank you for the sound advice and great care you provided us so far!

Our experience is ALWAYS a wonderful one! From the moment we walk in, the ladies at the desk are always smiling & know who we are. Dr Alex & the clinical staff are always willing to listen to our concerns, etc. and they are always answered in a way we understand. They approach Vader as if he is one of their own and he loves going in!!

I cant say enough good about Dr. Alex. There is no other vet who has the depth of knowledge about the latest research on animal health and ways to treat complicated and serious health issues. Her methods always start with compassion and move into extraordinary scientific intelligence. I wish she could treat humans. I call her my miracle vet. If she cant make your animal friend well, no one can.

There is nothing as potentially stressful as bringing your pets to a new vet because you have moved if you couldnt think that your previous vet was as perfect as possible. This was the fourth time that I had to find a new vet after having moved. 1) The staff at the front desk was incredibly friendly, and professional. 11 years of vet records were handed over, and gone through to make sure that everything had been saved, as opposed to picking up where things were based on the previous year. 2) The vet clearly knew canines, breeds, medical issues of certain breeds, diagnosis of the issues, and the steps to resolve the issues. 3) Vet costs are not inexpensive, but these were disclosed before charged, and there was no pressure to test. 4) The vet tech, my first contact, was absolutely wonderful, and stayed as a support presence during the two hours.

Excellent care! My pets have always received superior care and their well-being (physical as well as emotional) are always considered. Very clean, calming environment, and friendly and caring staff.The staff is also very supportive of the pet caregiver as well. Unfortunately, when I had to make some difficult decisions to make, when Jaz and Max were very ill, we were given, not only other care options, but spiritual and emotional support as well.Even months later, they reached out and introduced me to Buddy who needed a home.I cant say enough.....

My dog is tough, even with calming treats, she is not very social and pretty aggressive/barky. The staff is great. The techs just saw how cute she was. They were kind and gentle and my visits go well. Thank you!

I have worked with Dr. Alex for over 8 years by phone and my only wish is that I lived closer to New York and her office (I live in Arizona). Dr. Alex has helped me with special problems that my 3 dogs have had along the way such as a snake bike, chronic allergies, immune system deficiencies, and pancreatitis from a Rabies shot. Dr. Alex not only uses blood work to assess the health of my dogs but she is excellent at spending time with me helping me to understand my dogs conditions and treatments. For example recently I called her urgently for my dogs vomiting and acute pancreatitis. Not only did she immediately make herself available but she helped me understand this condition and spent a great deal of time helping me to understand the proper nutrition immediately and ongoing for at least 6 months. My dogs have all done so well working with Dr. Alex.. I cannot provide enough praise for the time she spends with me in helping me understand how to bring my dogs back to a state of health.

We’ve had our car for 5 years. After we were made aware that our old Vet was over immunizing and prescribing food full of fillers, we came to Dr. Alex. In addition to our cat having a weight issue, we also found a lump on his hind that we needed to diagnose. From the first initial phone call, I knew this was a special place. The love and care oozed through the phone line, and my cat was the calmest he ever was at a vet. He took a liking to Dr. Alex right away. She took so much time with our “baby”, giving him a really full and thorough exam. She took titers to see where he stood on vaccines, took bloodwork to check thyroid, and aspirated his lump and sent it to pathology (it’s benign). The best part was she put our cat on a natural HEALTHY diet, gave us a list of veggies to add to his food, and he LOVES IT ALL!! Who knew a cat could eat veggies! I can’t tell you how relieved and happy I am knowing he’s on a healthy path, and we have a partner now in his health. This was the best vet visit our cat, and us, have ever had!! I wish I could give 10 stars.

I am so very thankful that a friend of mine had mentioned to bring our pup to Dr Alex. It was the best decision we ever made! She listened to what we had to say, and she was incredibly honest. I know our pup is in great hands!

Love the vet and the office and staff! They considered my cats situation as important and squeezed an appt into a busy scheduled day during the week of New Years. Two other vet offices would not see her on the same day that I called and were scheduling her appt 3 days later. She required medication to treat an infection. So glad that Earth Angels did not make her suffer longer. She already had the infection for a few days. Thank you!!!

I had a great experience at Earth Angels and will definitely return. All of the staff was very warm and loving of my pit, and the doctor offered holistic, natural alternatives to treating his recent epilepsy. Would 100% recommend!

I had been looking for a holistic vet for over a year now. So I brought my pitbull for the first time last week. I instantly got a good vibe from her I felt very confident in her thoroughness. Although its a good 45 minutes from me, Id like Dr. Alex to be Blus primary care Veterinarian. 💙🐾

I recently moved from the city to the Town of Wappingers. It had been some time since my cat Nora last visited the Vet. I searched on Google for Veterinarian’s and chose Earth Angels because of their holistic approach. My cat has a mild case of feline hyperesthesia syndrome and it’s important that her health is maintained as naturally as possible. I also have an underlying autoimmune condition and am a firm believer in the functional medicine approach. Dr. Alex and her staff provided great care to Nora. Unfortunately she had to have some teeth extracted but her recovery went well with both prescribed medication and CBD oil. Moreover, she is taking dental supplements in an effort to keep her teeth and gums healthy. I highly recommend this Vet and their office is like heaven! I’ve never seen a more beautiful Veterinarian Office!

I’m am beyond words.Because of Dr. Alex and her team, my cat suffered horrifically for over a month and then died prematurely after not receiving proper treatment….. a few months later my new kitten is absolutely traumatized after something was done without my consent !Extreme incompetence? A tired vet?There’s no excuse.All I know for sure is that I will never bring my cat here again.

Dr.Alex and her staff are so warm and caring. Dr. Alex answer any and all my questions relative to my Yorkshire puppy. I love the zen environment as well . Very calming for pets and pet owners.

The receptionist and staff were very courteous and professional. Dr. Alex took the time to listen to my concerns about Shebas health and explained various treatment options. Sheba was scratching herself a lot. After the shot, and topical application of Essential 6, she is doing much better.

As always this visit was great! Dr. Alex is very through and take her time examining and explaining everything! This is not a five minute quick in and out visit! You really do get a lot of excellent care for the money. I wish human doctors would do the same!

Very clean, modern center. Primary reason I go so far out of my way to take my pets here is that the doctor is pro herbal medicines. If she feels herbal treatments will help your pet shell suggest that route. Shes very knowledgeable in this field, however, shell suggest conventional meds if she feels its required. She also suggested a different food to give my pups which has resulted in all of them losing excess weight and giving them lean, healthy, shiny coats for the four of them. The only negatives of this place is that its more costly compared to other places in the area and the wait times I feel are longer than Ive experienced elsewhere which can be problematic. I have a ton of confidence in this doctor and will continue to take my non-human family there.

The level of care and caring that is provided to our little girl is unprecedented and exceeds anything we could have ever hoped for. Dr Alex and the entire staff treat her as she were their own and seem to love her as much as we do.

We have a 4 month old puppy that weve been taking to Earth Angles for several months now for all her puppy shots.. Dr. Alex and her staff are wonderful, caring and professional.. She will need to get spayed soon and lm glad that we feel comfortable that Oreo will be in good hands.. ❤

Great place. First time going there was the day of my review im leaving. They had a cancelation that worked in my favor of having to seek a new veterinarian in short notice due to my dogs previous vet that always was unfair in price and he they handled things and treated me animal at times. Vet in reference is in Poughkeepsie near vassar. Do not go through come to earth angels. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. Treated my zoey with care and didnt have a worry in the world about her. They went above and beyond and i feel that always will happen. Highly recommend. Very well kept facility! Soon will be bringing my other girl Roxy there.

We feel very welcomed and comfortable every time we go see Dr. Alex and the crew at Earth Angels. We are able to get appointments right away when needed and we always leave happy. I would definitely recommend them.

My dog had a tumor, and I consulted with with many doctors, and Dr. Alex was the most knowledgeable and informed person on the subject. She helped me to plan the steps before and after the surgery, even though I live far away.

Our Rottweiler, Panzer, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. His white blood cell count was 22,000. I did a phone consult with Dr. Alex, and she prescribed several supplements. She seemed pretty confident that we could get his numbers down to normal, but I was sceptical. We purchased the supplements and have been giving them to Panzer for 2 1/2 months. Vet did another cbc check this week, and hes down to 7500! Still above normal, but were stunned at the results. Were going to do a second phone consult. I am no longer a sceptic, and wholeheartedly recommend her services!

The vet I saw, my first time there, was very distant from my dog. She never even touched him except for a pat on his head. Then she took him out of the room. The aide brought him back. I asked if the vet checked his eyes, ears, listened to his lungs and heart and what he weighed. She didnt know, went back to ask the vet, came back and said the vet was filling out the firm which I would get when I checked out. I told her I wont be coming back. Did not like not seeing the vet exam him so I could ask questions! After complaining the aide came out when I was paying and said the vet would come out and talk to me. I didnt wait... Too little too late. Plus theres no way she examined him in the short time my dog was out of the room with him getting his shot and blood tested. Terrible place.

Went here for the first time we were so impressed. Dr.Alex was so informative. Trooper was Diagnosed with Diabetes and I know he will be in good hands.She told us more than our own vet did.So glad we found them!!!!

We had an emergency with my dog and the staff at Earth Angels accommodated us when no one else would--they did everything they could to fit us in and for that I am forever grateful. In addition to being so very welcoming and kind, they made us feel so incredibly comfortable that our pup was in the best hands upon arrival. Once she was ready to be picked up, they took the time to explain her diagnosis, in detail and in terms we understand, what was wrong with our girl, how they helped her and what we had to do next. I cannot recommend Earth Angels enough!

Today was my Dreamers 1st visit to Earth Angel vet. Everyone was extremely nice. Dr. Alex took her time explaining everything to me and what she was going to do. Very informative. I hope we find the underlying issues my poor Dreamer has. Waiting on the test results. I have faith Dreamers issues will be found by Dr Alex being she was very thorough with exam.

Dr. Alex is fabulous! She is amazing with my dogs and truly, truly cares about them. Shes not quick to suggest surgeries or medications. I missed the call back from Carol, whos message was they could not see her today... Are your kidding me?? I called back and Carol would not give me an appointment that day. I had to find another vet to take care of my cat....
