DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER! I think his name was Mark did a terrible job grooming my beautiful Pomeranian. He came out shaking and terrified with a truly awful cut which was completely the opposite of what we asked for, we literally said we specifically did not want a puppy cut, and to just shape his hair. The groomer cut his overcoat which will never grow back, and cut his hair super short on the coldest week of the year. He was rude to us, and did not even apologise.

I have been bringing my dogs there since they were both puppies for the usual ear cleaning and nail clipping. The grooming services have always been fantastic. They are so nice. My dogs love going there. We always buy some stuff in the store on our way out. I love this place. I highly recommend.

Jim is lovely and does a great job on our dog!However, the gentleman (?) at the front desk is extremely rude. Sadly we are considering going elsewhere… There is just no need for that kind of unprofessionalism.

Jim did an awesome job with my puppies. He did an Incredible job grooming my collie and golden retriever. A week later they still smell and look awesome.

Hi this was my first appt with Marvin. My micro Maltese is only 3.7 lbs he did an awfulSloppy job grooming h. My puppy’s feet look awful. Under his belly was not shave cleaned completely,his ears you can notice from far away they are so uneven and even has some extra long strands of hair. My dog is not fiesty so I just think he was just a quick shave. Awful job for theMoney I paid😞.

VERY BAD grooming experience. The groomer did not listen to instructions and cut our dogs overcoat WAY too short. Normally, when we have our dog groomed, he looks amazing. He looks terrible and is at risk of not being able to grow his coat back after we specifically told the groomer not to cut his coat too short.

Christine has been grooming our girls forever and followed her to Cozy Pet about 5 or 6 years ago. Everyone is very friendly and you can tell they love pets! They make you feel very cozy there!

Highly recommend Nicole! Shes absolutely wonderful and goes the extra mile when grooming .....my schnoodle, Magoo! 1 hour dog groomer service only! Drop off at the top of the hour and if youre late for pickup theyll charge you another hour ($55) ontop of your visit since they do not have kennels on premise to keep them after your appointment time. Other than that very convenient and friendly service! Always happy when I pick him up, shes a lifesaver!

Been going there for years for Christine. She is great. Was there today and the cost went up again to $70. Thats my only disappointment. May look elsewhere.

The husband and wife team of Charlie and Stephanie were extremely welcoming and a pleasure to work with. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogo in their hands. I had warned them about a two matts in his hair behind his ears and they were very kind to take care of it. He left there smelling great and looking so happy after a nice grooming. I’m only leaving 5 stars specifically for Charlie and Stephanie. Everything else about the place isn’t as good as them. The guy Billy up front was rude and came off as standoffish. But I guess to deal with him for a short time to get to the kind hearts of Charlie and Stephanie is worth it.

We have been going to this place for many years, well before it was Cozy Pet, all because of our Groomer, Jim. We had 3 Brussels Griffons, and could not find anyone who knew how they should be groomed. Finally found Jim, and he knew what to do. Jim is so sweet, and has a great, positive, sweet attitude. The girls loved him. We rescued a Shiffon, and she would not go near men. She warmed right up to Jim. You can tell he is an animal lover, and my girls sensed it. So happy we found him! Everyone who works there has been very friendly.

Just ok, only dogs and cats. Make appointments to have them groomed, no waitlist, nice enough to look tractor supply and told me location in Patchogue. No small pet supplies.

Love, love, love Nicole. She is so kind to my 10 year old miniature schnauzer and gives her an excellent grooming. Even my dogs vet commented twice on how great she looked and asked where I bring her to be groomed.

I brought my two dogs to the store at my appointment time.Charlie and his assistant did a great job handling my dogs,They managed to separate my inseparable dogs from each other,do their nails, one at a time, and maintain social distancing andtrue caution in light of the pandemic. Not only that, they tookcare of my dogs without making me wait, and were very responsive towhat I asked for! .

I’ve had a few great experiences with Nichole. I have a maltipoo who is the opposite of a lapdog. She goes for hikes with me and my 4 other large dogs daily....Which results in her looking like a complete ragamuffin all the time! She gets matted, has leaves, twigs and all kinds of things stuck to her. Plus my dog really seems to like her and she was so nice and helpful. She helped me to my car bc I had my hands full with my daughter.

I was a regular grooming and shopper customer at Cozy Pet (Union Blvd) up until today. I arrived a bit early for my two grooming appointments and they could accommodate me and ask that I come back at the appt time, when I returned a few mins late my two grooming appointments had been cancelled. Not one appointment but both appointments had been cancelled without a a phone call to inform me that they had not planned on honoring my appointment. The tone and atmosphere was not what I had experienced before.. it is sad to see that you are just a number not a customer.

I have used Cozy Pet in Babylon without any problems, but that location has permanently closed and so I tried Cozy Pet in West Islip for the first time. They are so rude, unaccomodating, and unprofessional, and I will never return to any Cozy Pet because of them. Grooming was mediocre at best, and I was so disappointed with my experience that I left without leaving a tip, and I will never return!

The best grooming our dogs have had in years. Other places make you leave your pet all day, they do NOT. Reasonably priced.

Excellent service! Our Charlie was very happy. Picked him up all clean, fluffy and smelling great, with clean ears and clean teeth!

Never been to this location, but i wanted to give it a try. The man who answered the phone who is supposedly the manager is rude and very unprofessional. Yelling at me over the phone , hanging up on me . Its disgusting and its not the way to act towards a new client. Deff not ever bringing my pup here. If he acts like this with a human , i wonder how he treats the dogs that go there SMH

They were a bit disorganized. Also the owner was in there having a very animated conversation with a groomer using explicit language. I wasnt informed when I made the appointment that they only accept cash payments 🤦🏽‍♀️. I just felt uncomfortable the entire time.

I brought 40lb labradoodle and a 30lb mini doodle both with wavy hair not knotty or kinky. I thought the cost was expensive, $190.00…🤷🏻‍♀️ And cash only!!!

Groomers are awful now. Definitely not worth the money. Dog came out looking like my toddler cut his hair.

Love this place. My male shih tzu was getting fiesty and petco no longer wanted to groom him. I started going here and Christine does a great job with him. We both love christine.

I bring my fiesty 1yr old goldendoodle here. Nicole is awesome and always gives him an amazing cut!!! Highly recommend!Lauren and Captain

Horrible place they shaved my dog all the way down to skin on my Samyoed when we told them before many times u can’t shave her only slight trim. Cozy pet West Islip i will never go back. Wish I could sue because I would!!!🤬🤬

Fast and friendly my dog loves Christine. Your dog is there an hour not 4, 5 or 6 hours trapped in a cage

LITERALLY IN A MILLION DIFFERENT PIECES ALL OVER- AS THE DAYS GO BY IT LOOKS WORSE- MY GIRL IS 10 YRS. OLD AND HER BODY IS DESTROYED - I DNT THINK THIS IS GROWING BACK TO WHAT IT WAS - EVERYDAY IM MORE SICK !!! AS I LOOK AT HER- 10 YRS !!! NO ONE EVER DID THIS TO HER HAIR !!!!!! DO NOT GO TO CHRISTINE !! ALSO THE OWNER WAS EMAILED A MESSAGE AND PICTURE - THE OWNER OF COZY PET NEVER HAD THE DECENCY TO CONTACT ME BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AWFUL--- BEWARE

I’ve been going for 10 years and they wouldn’t take the dog because I was three minutes late and I went bc I used to love the girl but when she left all they do is chop cut and the management

We brought our dog Luna, who tends to be nervous, in to be groomed and everyone was so kind as soon as we arrived. Luna was taken in by the groomer and she did not look back. They did a great job with her! We are so happy!

Prices keep rising. Decent grooming tho.

They were not very professional when it comes to cutting a dogs hair had to bring my dog back for them to be cut it and in 2 weeks her hair grew back very bad.

Our dog, who is usually very scared of groomers, had a quick and easy visit here! Loved it.The food was expensive though.

I went to buy a new litter box for my cat and and didn’t take the receipt from the store, because I didn’t think it would be an issue.. the box wasn’t big enough so I went back to return the next day, and the same guy that sold me the litter box, told me I can’t return it because I didn’t have the receipt. Very disappointed, they lost a customer that is new to the area..
