Doggy Divas on the Go

First time I used Oscar my pups got a great cut. I even recommended him to others and they used him. He told me every time he came to my house that he is the best. LOL..After a couple more times of using him, Oscar was not as friendly and my pups came back with cuts and not groomed as well. Which, at first I chalked up to the fact my pups had mats and it was a tuff job. My last appointment I called and he told me my two teddy bear pups are nasty and hes not doing them. Which is his choice to do so, but I found him arrogant. If that was the case, he couldve communicated that fact with me at other grooming appointments. When, my friends that I referred called, for their dogs to be done. He said he is too far and he will not groom in Deer Park anymore; hes in West Islip not even a 10 min. drive, a town over. I found him to be arrogant. Realized, my pups that wouldnt hurt a fly but were scared to be groomed were probably not acting nice because they were not handled with care. Granted my pups hair condition arent the once a month groomed kind of indoor dog. My dogs are outdoor active pups that I take camping, dog parks, and go to the beach. I wash them in between grooming and brush them as best I can. So, I think Oscar is a little too ruff and will only groom a show quality type of dog. As for my friends he blew off, I know their dogs and they are indoor pups that are normally well groomed and they had similar feelings as I. Just for background, My dogs are not getting groomed once a year or 6 months. My pups are 2 1\2 and have been groomed at other grooming facilities many times in their life. I used Oscar three times. So, I consider that a decent amount of dog grooming in 2 1\2 years of my pups life. My dogs at this point shake and are scared to go get groomed but I have never been told that by any other groomer and my dogs have not had a problem since.

Do not use this guy. He came to my house to groom my 2 dogs, one isnt good the other is very good. He took the bad one first had him for 5 minutes brought him back and said Im done, I cant do him it took me this long to brush out his face and he was bad, then turned and walked away. Not professional, not nice, not sure how he even has a business. Dog is 12 and while I know he is difficult to groom this has never happened. He was always able to be groomed. unfortunately since the pandemic my groomer is no longer in business.

No complaints here! He’s always punctual and patient with my 3 pups. I know my 3 little “ladies” are feisty and difficult to groom; my son takes hours with only one, but this guy gets the job done in 30-40 minutes each and is not fuzzy about their knotted hair! Yes, they have long curly hair! They’re shihtzus. After their grooming, they look good, smell good and look happy and playful, I don’t see any signs of trauma here, so I’m surprised with the poor reviews & Oscar has not groomed them for over a year because my son had been doing it during the Covid-19 pandemia. He’s not a rookie; he’s groomed dogs for long time!

Horrible Experience, he came to my house scooped up my dog in the middle of eating a treat. Took her to his Trailer of Horrors and God knows what went on in there. He brought her back soaking wet and said he cant finish cause she wont stand up. My dog sat crumpled on the floor like a broken toy with her head hanging down, this is not how my dog reacts to anything. I believe he drugged her and then blamed her for not being able to stand when she couldnt, she was in this condition for about 6 hours after he left. I called and asked what he gave her and he said all I did was groom her, I know this was a lie, she was totally out of it for the rest of the day. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My dog came out of the haze he forced her into but another may not, he needs to be put out of business and not allowed around any animals

My dog is petrified!This groomer literally dropped my dog at my front porch saying ‘he is an old nervous dog! I can’t work with him!’. That’s an insult to a pet parent! I have 2 dogs but he told me ‘I’m not even going to try the other dog. I’m done!’.It is first time my dog is being groomed by this guy. Wouldn’t you be a little nervous? My dog is a 8 year old 12 lb Bichon! Bichon is one of the sweetest breed out there!How the hell He became a dog groomer? He has no patience! No manners... very rude!Oh! I don’t know what happened inside the trailer but my dog is limping! I’m calling my Vet tomorrow.

I called them to make an appointment. The owner was very nasty. He hung up on me. I would never take my gentle and living Pomeranian there u see any circumstances. A great place is cozy let in west islip. Going there after vacation. Trimmed her myself till I can get an appointment.

Very unprofessional, he cutt my yorkie down to his flesh and he was bleeding the first time where he left a patch , claiming it was because he was matted. I gave this groomer a second chance and he cancelled my appointment the same day of my appointment because my address changed 3mins from my prior address . He’s very unprofessional i wouldn’t suggest this groomer. I shouldn’t have even attempted a second chance after her cutt my baby down to his flesh .

DO NOT HIRED this guy he is the worse. I am not sure how does he have this business. He is a animal abuse. I feel terrible that I let this guy groom my dog. Please dont leave your pets with this guy. Hope he gets shot down

Called because my dog desperately needs a grooming and his regular groomer is closed due to the pandemic. Rudely answered the phone and asked what kind of fog and before I could finish he cut me off saying I dont do big dogs no Im sorry nothing just said that then hung up.

Oscar is always professional, on time, and accommodating. But most of all, he takes good care of our pure bred Persian cat.

Absolutely the worst. Do not trust this person. Anyone who has worked with him has claimed he abuses pets. Many pet owners have stated he is aweful. Do NOT give any business to this low life.

Cut my dog half way through cause he said he was moving then had the Audacity to cut my dogs eye his eye is swollen he won’t open them

I noticed this groomer in my neighborhood. I called to inquire his availability.The man on the phone was rude. When I told him I have a mini golden doodle he said that it’s a big dog. I reiterated he is a mini golden doodle. The man said, “it’s a big dog, no thank you” and hung up on me.If this is him over the phone, I wonder what he is like with the doggies in his “On the Go” trailer?It’s a sign from above that my fur baby has been spared from a short tempered groomer.

Left my dog bleeding everywhere.I and the dog are traumatized
