Choosing Anthony’s class was the best decision I could of made for my career as a dog trainer. Prior to going to Anthony’s School I had been dog training at Petco and worked as a vet assistant for over a year. While I thought I had already had a lot of knowledge in the field Anthony’s class has taught me way over my expectations. While I had came with intentions of mainly learning about training, Anthony touches upon CPR and first aid, tracking and trailing, bite work and so much more. Anthonys school for dog training is terrific. His curriculum is not just about training....students get a well rounded education on dogs in general - from birth onward including nutrition, behavior, breeding, first aid and only then, training. He orients his students in a variety of training methods and tools and when they are appropriate for use. Then students get extensive hands on practical training using dogs selected from our daycare. We would only allow this with someone we trust. All our training staff have completed Anthonys training program for their certification. Highly regarded and recommended.

Great school to attend if u wanna learn about dog training. I went to the school to learn how to train my personal dogs.. but Ive learned so much more that I decided to open a dog training business and a doggy day care. The hands on training was great. I came to Anthony’s school to further my knowledge and experience with dogs and I wasn’t disappointed. Anthony is incredibly knowledgeable in the ways of canine behavior. His program offers hands on training where online schools do not. You will need to continue to work and practice with dogs to reach his level, but Anthony provides an excellent foundation.

Anthony Jerone has given me an amazing skill set that I am confident will make me successful for the start in a career in the canine pet industry. His 40 years experience speaks volumes. Especially during the hands on training aspect of this course. I was able to work with different dogs who had different temperaments which made me very confident by the end of the course, which entails not only learning to give commands, but really dives deep into the psychology of a dog and what brings on certain behavior. A lot of information packed into this short course. Youd have to be really paying attention. It was fun and informative and a lot of hands on. The course was properly taught for all learning methods. I took this class 2 years ago I believe and Im still friends with the classmates I encountered. Definitely worth it. I knew when I signed up for the course to be Certified as a Master Dog Trainer, that I had chosen the best school. What I did not know was how much I learned and how valuable it would have become for my life. The curriculum was vast and targeted. Yes, the course was intense as we also had hands on experience. We trained dozens of different dog breeds and sizes. But it was FUN! Master Anthony Jerone s passion for his work is infectious and the respect and love he has for all dogs is admirable. I attended Anthony Jerones School of Dog Training and have a thriving Business for many many years. I was taught with a hands-on approach which has proven to be invaluable. I truly believe this field absolutely needs to be up close & personal to learn the ins & outs which cannot be provided in an online course! Online thereafter can work but not in the beginning. Mr. Jerone is a great teacher and trainer taught us how to engage clients and dogs, prepared us with hands on techniques and cues, also taught us how to handle situations truly a grand master. I definitely recommend him for training and instruction.

Pretty good. I attended this school in 2008. Its a good starting point. There is so much to animal behavior that really more training is needed, but overall it was a very good experience. And Anthony is a good teacher

Very disappointed! I was passed to a trainer called Ian Braunstein. First of all he no show on the first time, came late the second time. He never mention cost of evaluation, definitely not worth $200 with the unprofessional behavior in less than an hour.
