JH Crew Dog Park (Member Only)

Great dog park and looked after by people who care about the space and the neighborhood. It is an application only park, but quick and easy approval. Great community of people and regulars usually come around 5:45/6pm.

My fur babies have so much fun when I bring them to play and have their cardiovascular. Dog owners have to be members. The page where you can get an application is at the main entrance. I agree that all dogs at the park must be vaccinated and license.

Really nice dog park with two separate sections. There was one dog there that kept on starting spats from across the fence with my dog (running up and snarling/growling/barking while my dog was sniffing by the fence or pawing at another dog through the fence which set my dog off barking). The owner was good about telling her dog off and working with me to lead both dogs away and distract them, it only happened twice before they ignored each other and I think it had to do with the fence being between them and a bit of posturing (and the other dog protecting her ball). That being said, things like that can happen and occasionally two dogs just wont get along which makes having two separate sections to play in essential. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and were excited to go back (hopefully with a few more dogs to play with as thats what my dog likes best over balls and sticks).

I want to love this place but small dogs that comes in the park are bullies. They keep on barking at my dog and the owners just sit there in chair doing chitchat. Not a friendly environment. If you’re new here then, they will treat you like an outside . 65th st park is way better than this.

Great place you can separate the big dogs from the small dogs

Was a nice place in the past,but recently 3 bullies have taken over the park,they have taken over the large dog side even though they have small dogs,and pretend they own the park,they chage the rules without a member vote. Dont even go if you have a big dog and attempt to enter the big side,unless you want to be screamed at or worse they take your picture,which is illegal. Just want to know who left them in charge, i think they forgot the park is for the dogs enjoyment, not childish bullying.

Membership entails providing proof that the owners dog is licensed, has had all required shots, and is able to safely socialize with other dogs. Access is 24/7 via a coded lock.

My dog loves it! Well maintained dog park. I like that you have to sign up to be part of it. Keeps people accountable! Run by friendly neighbors!

Nice and clean dog run but too many requirements to get entry because its privately run.... Headache i just go to the Public dog park on 65 and Queens blvd... Nice wide open spaces....

I lived near by the dog park but I wasnt able to figue out when its open for the member. I took my dog twice a day passed by and try to get in but I guess they not open at noon or afternoon. I wish there is a schedule of time to get in it will definitely save me time.

Park is not good for dogs that like to run , ground are full of rocks. lady that maintains it is very unfriendly, and wants you to contribute $ if not you’re treated and looked at like a trespasser. you also need a code to get in. there is 1 friendly lab that’s always there and his owner is quite polite.
