Nice big dog Park with water hose (to rinse markings down), a mix of concrete and natural areas for dogs to run and play. Tables to sit and generally a solid group of dogs and parents.
At 11am medium dogs gather. 12pm, mostly Huskies gather. Park is spacious. My puppy been going here since 6 months old. Only problem towards the back, its not clean and a lot of poop left behind. A lot of brenches on floor, make you twist your ankle while walking. When small dogs come in, owners have a habit to carry the dog when medium or large dog get near to smell. If your scared youll pass it down to your dog. Once you put the dog down, that causes the small dog to bark, bite and protect since the pack leader is weak. Just show the dogs rear end to the calm dogs that want to meet. If the larger dog tries to snap the small dog outta of it, its a problem with the owner of the small dog because theyre not using dog psychology. A woman with 2 huskies carries a dog horn and when theres a fight between dogs, she uses it and suggests it to other owners to get. Mostly, Asian/chinese/Korean owners with small dog are afraid of larger dogs. Another problem, owners like to bring treats to the park and their is a lot of dogs wholl compete and that will lead to fight for food. Dog owners should be trained and STOP using HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY!!! Its not the dogs fault.
Located between the BQE off ramp and a commercial building, this large dog run, mostly asphalt with a hilly dirt area, is perfect for all dogs to run around and let loose. Since the highway is nearby, dogs and owners alike can test their vocal extremes and no one will complain. During the Spring and Summer, this NYC Parks kept dog run has water available to keep your pooch cool and hydrated and the locals bring in toys and kiddie pools so that they can keep entertained. Come on down to the largest, official, dog run in Woodside! Also, there is a 7-11 across the Street for those of you needing coffee while your fur babies play!
Usually a nice crowd of dog owners with happy puppies. Went there last week and the park had 2 pools for dogs to play in. Mostly cement playground. People leave bowels and some toys. Built on the side of a hill, right off the BQE. There are some trees on the side where dogs run around in and can get sticks. Small but enough room to play fetch.
Very friendly dogs and owners which is great. Very spacious as well. The only downside is that there are a few owners who continuously refuse to pick up after their dog.
My dog loves coming to this park! It is a big park that has a lot of space for all dog sizes. You can see in the picture that there is a small pool. This pool comes out in the summer. Many dogs love it. Especially my golden retriever:) I love how this park also provides bowls to fill water in. My dog will forever come here :)
Love bringing my dog here, she always has a good time. Full of respectful dogs and owner. Large space!
Its a great park for your pets! It is pretty clean. I was there on a Saturday and Sunday at 8am and there were3 or 4 other dogs. There is a poop bag dispenser, a water source, 2 metal water bowls. A patch of grass, shrubs occupies just a quarter of the entire area. The rest is concrete. There are wooden benches and concrete table seating for humans. Humans were respectful of both pets and co-humans. Its a convenient distance from my neighborhood.
Nice spacious area for fur the babies to play. don’t like how it’s so close to the freeway, but what can you do?
Its a big space for dogs to run. Its good for fetch because of the amount of space and the net preventing all but the smallest balls from going onto the street. There are also nice benches for owners to sit and tables to eat. Also some owners leave behind pools or doggie bowls. After seeing some of the other dog parks I realize this isnt 5 stars - they could separate the big dogs from the little ones and keep the back area a little cleaner. And maybe it could look a little nicer!
My favorite dog run in Queens. Large dirt shaded tree area in the back allows your dog to have a piece of wilderness without the muddy headache. Locals have brought 2 pools so on hot days your pup can chill. Ample spacing gives lots of room to run, 70% of benches are shaded so its owner friendly and lastly its street parking that isnt atrocious. I go here at least twice a week.
Very clean park, plenty of free street parking on 65th place. Park has water fountains (for humans and dogs) and kiddie pools for even more summer fun. Nice hill for pups and people trying to lose weight too. Its a pretty long dog run, great for larger dogs. Gravel excellent to trim those paw nails.
Good park but dont bring small dogs here. Unfortunately, quite a few people have brought large untrained dogs that try to maul or jump on my dog (or on myself at times), and what is even worse is that some of the owners do not care unless you say something. Bring your medium/large dogs here but be prepared for inconsiderate owners.
My four month old puppy got attacked today in this park. There should be more rules that are taken seriously such as no aggressive dogs, and owners watch their dog(s) very carefully. Also, I believe small dogs and big dogs should be separated and theres another section that allows both. So, my puppy today got attacked when she just entered the park. A big dog started to pin her down and bit her neck. We had to separate them and then walked away to another section but the owners decided to follow us. We went to sit down on the bench to see if my dog is hurt in anyway, but then the dog that attacked my dog came back and almost bit her ear off. We finally left the park very upset. It was such a horrible experience. Although that one dog was very aggressive, many other dogs were very sweet. There should be supervisors in this park to keep everything in control since some owners dont know how to take care of their dog(s). Only one of the owners of the aggressive dog tried to calm their dog down. Not going back ever again.
💛❤️💙 this dog park is super big. There is plenty of benches to sit on. Potty bag dispenser is available . It’s right next to Queens Boulevard and across from 7 eleven. There are always plenty of dogs of all sizes . Respectful dog owners.
Good dog run. Relatively spacious. Its mostly asphalt but theres a hill area where the dogs are able and to go and its just dirt there. They used to have this terrible latch on the entrance gate that was like a finger trap, but they fixed it sometime in 2019.
Some foxtail weeds starting to grow there so watch out your dog doesnt step in them. They have a cute little pool for the dogsNot many dogs go so if youre dog likes to play with others this might not be the best dog run
Its a nice size dog run. Its mostly asphalt so its great after a rainy day.
Love the size of this park. Theres plenty of space for dogs to jump and roam around. There are also kiddie pools for the dogs to jump in and cool off during the hotter months. The pool can be filled using the hose from the water fountain. Owners can watch their dogs from the benches around the perimeter. Advice: bring water (i have encountered times where the water line has been closed at the fountain), a bowl (there are bowls at the park but if water is not runnning at the fountain, youd need to make sure to carry enough to also clean these)and extra doggie bags (if you carry these loosly). Also keep an eye on your dog.
This is our local dog park. great for dog owners. not so good for small children who might get knocked down by playful dogs of all sizes. please do not bring food. Water is available un the summer months.
Being there quite a few times whenever Im in Queens its the closest to where I am even though its close to Queens Boulevard and I exit after Brooklyn Queens Expressway its high up youre well fencing and protected lots of space but dont forget to bring water with you sometimes theres no water
Very good enclosed mini-park to help your dog socialize, exercise and run his/her battery down. Our puppy slept like a baby when we got him home after his run with his doggy friends.
A very pleasant experience. It was clean and our dog absolutely loved it. People seemed to keep a close eye on their dogs. Pork Chop met many new furiends.
Nice dog area. Kept clean not too muddy
Wide open space. Trees provide cool shaded areas. A couple of pools to keep the doggies cool. Only negative is the noise from the highway.
For myself this doggie park is to small. I went today and was disappointed because some of the bigger dogs were not as friendly to the smaller ones. Ill keep trying all the other dog parks out there.
Love this place. I take my dog here any chance I get. Nice open space for him to run around and mingle with other dogs.
This is a decent dog run that is for the most part kept clean.the big issue is it is all pavement with no grass.the other problem is the bottom 25% of people that are slobs that dont clean up after their dogs.
Its a great park with plenty of space for your pups to run around. They will go home happy and tired.
Used to have so much trash here years ago, but it seems to be well kept now. My only complaint would be that the water fountains werent working which was a bummer.
Love this dog parkIt has a lot of space! But it can be a bit lonely area
Great maintenance, but its just space where dogs can stretch around. Nothing much as per interactive play.
It is the biggest dog park around and all the other dogs are very friendly and playful!
Great even if you dont have a dog. you stay there you want to get one
Clean dog park. Very secure. Lots of fun.
Best place ever. Great friendly people coming here. LOVE!
Great place for dogs but almost nowhere to park
Large Run with a Hill and trees. Enough benches, too!
Great place to relax with your dogs.
It is a great space, shade, sun, blacktop! Much better than dirt parks. BUT it is not kept up. There is so much on the ground for dogs (puppies especially) to eat. There is a running hose in a pool for fresh water & a place to cool off.
Love this park. Every person and dog Ive met here has always been friendly. Its kept clean and gives the dogs plenty of space to run around.
Right next to the train and busy roads, but I love taking my dog here when its wet weather because it isnt muddy and is paved. Awesome that it has a dog height water fountain too and was working since I last went!

Today, April 29, 2024, I went to the park with my 4-month-old puppy and a pitbull arrived and my puppy wanted to play with that dog and that dog became aggressive and attacked the puppy and the owner did nothing like he didnt care about me, that was the bad experience but from there on out it seems perfect to me the place where the owners of those dogs were more attentive with those types of dogs
The area here is large but empty and monotonous. If we can learn from the facilities of the Longmen Plaza Dog Park in Changdao City and build two small hills in the middle, it will definitely bring a lot of fun for the dogs to run and have fun. Utilization will be greatly improved!
Very safe and all the dogs are well behaved thanks to the city for maintaining that park.
Very good
A dog bit me on a bad day
Its good
