This is the BEST groomer in NYC! Tomas has been our groomer for years and he is always very patient, gently and kind with my fur babies and he always does a beautiful job! He’s truly an artist at what he does and he’s just phenomenal! We love him! Highly recommend this wonderful and trusted groomer! A++++++!

We had such a great 1st experience at Posh Pooch. They did such an amazing job with our Hazel and well definitely be back!Update: Hazel went back for her 2nd grooming appointment and came back looking amazing again. Even my husband made a comment about how well groomed she is, and he never gives compliments like that about anything. Consider us regulars from now on.

Mclaren was a little scared going here for his first time! . McLaren is nine years old and I can’t believe I haven’t use this Groomer until now. Mclaren left Groomer’s office in such a fantastic mood and such a beautiful grooming job. I will recommend this place to everybody. Love this place.I was recommended by a friend and even though we do not live close, I bring my pup here every 2 months to get groomed by Thomas. My dog Toby is NOT easy at all. He has sensitive paws and he nips. But Thomas has never complained about him. Toby always comes out looking so adorable and cute ! I love that Thomas remembers him and I never have to remind him of how I want Toby cut.As mentioned in other comments, this place is not fancy or well decorated or even well lit. Thats not the point. It looks clean, simple and organized and as long as my pup comes out clean fresh and happy I am happy. Id rather go to a place that looks like a hole in the wall than a fancy 5 star looking place but they dont cut as well and dont treat my pup with love. As for the prices, it is cheaper to pay with cash since he does not add tax to it. Also, it is not an easy job to groom dogs! They bite, scratch squirm etc. I think the prices are reasonable here.I will keep coming back.

Our pup (Bichon/ Shih Tzu) has had multiple grooms at this facility and we have been 100% satisfied each time. They do a great job keeping the cut even, she smells great, and appears in happy spirits afterwards. I make the trek all the way from Astoria if that is any indication of our satisfaction!

The service and the groomer were all very nice. But after I brought my dog home, I realized that he was traumatized from his groomimg experience in this place. His ear was cut with the clipper and his private area (where he got neutered) and his tail area were all bruised that I had to bring him to the vet... Inside his ears were all bruised with blood as well. My dog had a lot of knot so I wanted the groomer to cut it short.. but I didn’t want him to be bruised with blood and his skin to get infected from the clipper.. I am sure they did a great job with all the other dogs but I don’t think it went well with my dog... I hope they can be more careful with their clippers when cutting other dogs’ hair short..I would still give it another try next time...

This place is pretty bare bones and expensive for the atmosphere and condition of the grooming salon. Would recommend upgrading the design and layout of the space so it doesn’t look as run down. Or lower your prices
