I am blessed to be a fur mom to 3 amazing puppers, two that are 3 & my senior who is 15. Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to me, all 3 ended up getting food poisoning. By Wednesday, after a restless night for all, I called Twin Vets to ask if there was any way I could take all 3 in for an emergency visit. The amazing receptionist mustve heard the panic in my voice and after a brief hold she said...yes, Dr. Cintron said he will return after surgery to see them. I couldve cried of gratitude and relief in that moment. I cant thank them enough for their services. All 3 puppers are doing well and starting to get back to their normal routine. Thank you Dr. Cintron & staff for accommodating and helping my little pack. ❤️ ~ 🐾Dolce, Zane & Zeke🐾

I would never think about choosing any other Veterinarian Place other than twins, they are so amazing with my Ella and they were also amazing with my past German Shepherd Skylar, I trust them , and they are always good with My Girl ,and although she has a lot of anxiety and she’s anxious ,you guys both always seem to do an amazing job making everything smooth and easy getting her in and out of there, I would highly recommend twins to anyone!!! They are amazing both of them.

The reviews dont lie. Twins is a great place for your pet. As a mom of a 15 year old dog, I am hyper aware and hype sensitive about my dog. They are very sensitive to my worries and very gentle with her. I truly appreciate the care and support.

I would like to preface the review with this. I have ALWAYS recommended Twins; They were my dog’s vet since he was around six months old. Never had an issue b4 this.On 9/3, I noticed that something was wrong with my Sam, lethargic & gums were pale. Called Twins &knew that i wouldnt be seen bcs it was around 5:40 but I hoped they could point me in the right direction & send me his blood work results that he gotten about 2weeks prior to this. I spoke with Bianca & she was very nice over the phone. She told me I should go to the ER & recommended VEG in Commack. She told me she would send me the blood results, but she never did that day. At VEG, my dog was quickly taken in & I was informed that he had a large mass in his abdomen that was bleeding out. They told me he wouldnt make it past the night; I was absolutely devastated. After being given options and % of survival numbers for other options, we made the decision to take him home after being given heavy pain meds through IV so he could pass at home. Sammie did not pass thru the night & around 11:30am the day, i knew he needed more meds. I was relieved that Twins was open bcs i trusted them more than any other place to help me. Sam was familiar with them &hoped he would feel more comfortable there if i had to euthanize him. I called them &spoke on the emergency line with someone and informed them of the situation. I wanted to know if they could administer pain meds and they told me this was possible, but they let me know that there was only one on call doctor available as all the regular doctors were out for three weeks. I asked if they would be able to give the med in the car because i didnt want to move him around too much. She put me on hold to ask the doctor &then told me that the doctor was in a consult so i had to wait for a call back. Bcs she had told me that they would be able to give me the pain med, i decided to take Sammie there right away because i didnt want to make him wait longer than needed. When i got there i spoke to a woman at the front desk who told me that they couldnt do anything bcs the only doctor available was in a consult. I went through everything that was going on and very clearly told her that pet was going through end of life care. not an ounce of compassion or understanding from her. I told her that my dog was outside in the car but she very flatly told me that i needed to wait for the doctor to call me, this was around 12p. I have to say during this whole ordeal, dealing with this woman, who seemed annoyed that i had even come to the office, was one of the worst parts of this situation. When i tell you, she did not care, she VERY CLEARLY did not care for my situation. I felt defeated in that moment and didnt know what to do. I was not expecting to get seen right away but i hoped that during a situation like this that they would at least try to help him or show some kind of compassion for my baby. I am so glad i didnt wait for the doctor to call me because by the time Dr. Ruiz called me back at 3:36p, my sweet boy had peacefully passed at VEG. Actually when i received that called i was in the middle of making arrangements for his body as i had already made it home with his remains. Craziest part is during this phone call with Dr. Ruiz, i informed him of what happened and i threatened to place a bad review and within the hour, i received another call from Twins Vet, which went 2 VM. They wanted to discuss the phone call that i had with the doctor, which shows me that a bad review was more pertinent for them than my dog when he was in need. I am so disappointed at how this office dealt with this situation & genuinely feel that it was irresponsible of the owners of this place to have left only one call doctor there while they were gone for three weeks. Throughout Sammies life, i have always trusted this office for all of his needs and i NEVER would have imagined that they would fail him so horrible during his last moments.RIP my sweet Sammie; I will never forget you.

Both Dr. Carlos and Dr. Gilbert are absolutely amazing with my two fur babies. They are always so sweet and gentle with my dogs! They are also very honest with their treatment plans and are not out to get your money.Given all our planned AND unplanned emergency visits to them, thank goodness for Twins Vet 🩵

This year we have had the most need for the doctors and his staff professionalism and assistance because our dogs are 15 and 13 and seems to have quite a few medical issues. They’ve been great with explaining to us what’s going on caring for the dogs administering medication’s and so forth we can’t tell you how much we appreciate The teamwork over there to keep ourboys comfortable and healthy as possibleAnd Pinar the groomer really does a phenomenal job, keeping them clean and neat

I can not say enough about Dr Gilbert and Dr Carlos Cintron… They and their Staff are THE BEST! Both Doctors are Truly meant to be Veterinarians. The Care that they give my 2 Cocker Spaniels is stellar. They truly care about the health and well-being of both my boys and always take their time while examining them. If you happen to be looking for a Veterinarian, look no further These Guys and their staff will exceed your expectations. They are the best! We’ve been going to them for around 3 years now with our first dog, and recently got a second pup. They are so genuinely caring and helpful. They always seem to have the answers and have our dogs best interest at heart. They respect our decisions with regards to neutering and vaccinations, which we could not appreciate more. Lucky to have them for our pups!

We use to love bringing our dogs here but unfortunately the customer service has been terrible the last couple of years. You cant get through by phone and when you do the receptionist hangs up or shes just nasty on the phone. Very rude front desk. We found a great veterinary close by and staff was amazing and so was the Vet.

First time there. And will be going there from now on. My 17 yr old cat was very sick. We waited maybe 5 min to be called in. 3 min for Dr to come in. He gave her an antibiotic injection and gave oral meds for 2 of our others cats that were starting to get sick. Later she seemed like she was having a hard time breathing, and when we called they told us to bring her right back, even though they were already closed for the day. She was just stressed not getting worse. The whole staff was so great!! Best part besides my baby getting better, the bill was almost half of what weve payed at other vets. Thank you Twins Veterinary Hospital for the amazing care, pleasant staff and low fees!! Youll be seeing us again as we have 7 cats and 2 dogs!!

Every time I have visited the hospital, I have had a wonderful experience. Everyone is so good to my dog Ellie. They answer all of my questions and are as sweet as can be to my Ellie. Thank you!

I wish I could give zero stars. I am so disgusted and disappointed. I brought my dog in because she was lethargic, urinating uncontrollably, and was not eating. They kept her for 3 nights and 4 days did blood work but NO urine test?! got calls for updates saying how good of a dog she was, so cooperative and was alert and doing better. We got her back and on her paperwork Carlos had written she was an aggressive dog. (shes not aggressive at all and was so out of it, that would be impossible) she was worse when we picked her up than she was when we brought her in! Carlos told us she had genetic kidney disease and that 60 percent of her kidneys seem to be angry he said she needed hills science diet K/D food and some chicken and rice. That specific food needs a prescription and I was never given one even when I asked about it needing a prescription. Carlos did not elaborate at all on his diagnosis and also mentioned she had something circular from an x-ray of her stomach which was never addressed again. Carlos sent us home with 2 medications worth of $600. When given the one medication to her as prescribed it basically put her in a coma, the other one was meant for hairballs for CATS which someone covered with instructions blocking out the name of the med. We brought her to Bay shore animal hospital down the street for a second opinion because I knew this wasnt accurate at all. I recommend you go there instead of twins. My dog was treated immediately, Dr ran urine test and she was put on antibiotics which shouldve happened at Twins weeks ago. Because of his misdiagnosis, greed, and incompetence my poor baby had to suffer longer than she had to. I strongly encourage you to find another vet as CARLOS WAS FINED AND PUT ON PROBATION WITH NEW YORK STATE FOR KILLING A CAT DURING SPAY SURGERY. Carlos admitted to charges of failing to record information regarding treatment of cat including recording body weight, hydration status, complete evaluation, not recording a complete blood test work up, not recording the dose or route of administering medication, and no indication that blood tests were ever ordered. There is a review from the owner on here with proof from that incident. I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere and save your time, money, and your pets health.

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, the wait time was minimal, and both Drs. Cintron are always very kind and caring and gentle with my dogs and they are thorough and reassuring.

Best vet experience Ive ever had. Ive been taking both my cats to Twins since they were four weeks old, and theyve gotten the best possible care. The facility is immaculate, the staff is polite and professional, the assistants are very kind and both Doctors Citron are just amazing. They really know how to put both your pets and you at ease. They are so gentle, caring and compassionate. I would give them ten stars if I could.

Twins is the best! I have been bringing my dog there for the last 19 years. They saved my dogs life with surgery for her spleen 7 years ago, and today we said goodbye to our fur baby. Dr Citron has treated my dog with love every visit down to the end. So accomending and made this very difficult day, a comforting experience. Truly a special breed of people in that office!

The nurses and vet are so compassionate and are amazing at what they do. my boy is extremely anxiety ridden, and this is the first vet that is actually taking the time to try and calm him down prior to treating him. He screamed during all of his vaccines and bloodwork, but the vet and nurse had it all under control and did the best they could to keep him comfortable. Thank you guys! Hard to come by such a good vet!!

This office is filled with exactly the type of people youd want taking care of your fluffy family members. Both Dr. Cintrons are wonderful people who truly care about your pets needs, but even more than that, the vet techs go above and beyond. The vet tech Shane went as far as to come to our home to help us administer eye drops for our pup (not once, but several times). Shes a rescue who is terrified of anyone coming near her eyes with a bottle, and Shane helped teach us how to properly hold her and console her to make the process possible. She still hates it, dont get me wrong, but at least we have been successful in giving her the medicine she so desperately needs - we wouldnt have been able to do this without his help. I cannot thank this office enough for the care and love they show to their patients & clients. We drive 45 minutes to get to this vet, and Id drive twice as far if needed. Highly, highly recommend them. (She hates her donut, but it’s a necessary evil right now!)

Ive been to several vets over the years and was never completely satisfied. Some were all about the money. Another rushed you in and out and just threw meds at my boy for any problem. Then I found Twins in Bayshore.Dr. Gilbert and Carlos (no, i cant tell them apart) are like your new best friends after spending 2 minutes with them. You know they truly care for your pet. They are super knowledgeable. Just absolutely great guys and staff. The only downside is that theyre so good, everyone seems to go there. Despite being busy, Ive always been able to get my boy in when needed which is fairly frequently given he an English Bulldog. Great guys, great staff, fair pricing.... what more can you ask for.

This is a busy Veterinary Hospital however I always get outstanding service my questions are always answered and Dr Cintron is one step ahead and anticipates what I may have missed.... I was worried about limes desease and Dr Cintron checked for other tick born desease and my dog did test positive and was quickly put on antibiotics... He has my trust, doesnt get any better... The staff is top notch as well, thank you all

Dr. Gilbert and Carlos are extremely caring, kind, and very good at diagnosing. Dr. Gilbert saved my dogs life, both Gilbert and Carlos will never recommend unnecessary testing or imaging. Both doctors are great at diagnosing. The techs in the office are extremely caring, loving, and patient as well. We have been going there since they opened their doors and will continue until they retire.

I brought my dog to Twins with what I thought was a mysterious illness.He was examined by the Vet after a short wait.He knew exactly what the issue was, and took the necessary steps and medicine to remedy the malady.They are always spot on at Twins, and show true affection for their patients.Seems to me the humans show more wear and tear, than the actual animal patient.Its always a positive experience here. Twins Vet saved our dogs life and continues to help us through diagnosis and care. Weve been coming to Twins Vet for about ten years and until recently its been routine checkups and minor illness/injuries, but recently our dog was experiencing sudden onset kidney dysfunction. Without hesitation they let us bring our boy in close to closing time and were able to treat him for us instead of needing to head to an emergency vet all weekend. His condition has improved greatly and we couldnt be happier with the care and compassion we received from both doctors and their staff. While its been scary going through the diagnosis and treatment process, Twins continues to take great care to keep us informed and help us make the best treatment decisions for our pup. I cant say enough nice things about this practice. Its clear they always make an effort to treat every single animal that they can and take care to treat serious conditions with a sense of urgency and compassion. I will always bring my animals to Twins for their vet needs.

Dr. Gilbert and Dr. Carlos are the best, as well as the supporting staff. They have taken the best care of my cats, one of which is diabetic. They show genuine concern and compassion! They are always honest and respectful, never making you feel like you are being taken advantage of. I recently had to put one of my cats to sleep and they helped me emotionally through the process. New in town, tried to get new vet. , ok to wait two months for wellness shot but told if dog gets sick will try to fit you in, hope my dog can wait 2 months when sick

The last vet (bond vet in merrick) told us to euthanize our baby Gray. She may be 17 but she has a lot of life still left in her. We finally made an appointment with Twins and she got the right love and care she deserves. She did need surgery but i would not have trusted her in the hands of anyone else. Brought my cat here today. I’m so happy with how everything went. I came here after a poor experience with my prior vet. Dr Gilbert was very kind and compassionate with my cat and solved many of her issues with two shots. Didn’t have to send me home with any meds. They even gave me a free cat toy for being a new patient! I would recommend to anyone. The place is pretty big with a lot of staff around. Only complaint would be I waited about 40 minutes after my appointment time to be seen, granted they were very busy.

Twins is always really great to our pets. Occasionally, they will be running late, but sometimes there are emergencies, and that is just a part of vet medicine that you may have to deal with.Whenever the Drs are not available, the vet techs do a great job of covering whatever non-emergency needs your pet may have.Prices are reasonable and all staff are friendly.

I wouldnt take my Pets anywhere else. Love them. My dog Lily was very sick and Thanks to Twins shes doing great. I cant thank them enough for taken care of our Fur Baby.

The best animal hospital Ive ever been too. The doctors are so compassionate and thorough .

Worst of the worst . This owner/vet lied to our face and told us our golden was fine ….just feed him chicken and rice . I mentioned his condition to a friend and he strongly suggested vet on sunrise highway west islip . Although he charged me 5,000 over 8 days I went for another opinion. Within 30 minutes we were told our beloved family dog of 10 years was full of cancer and suffering greatly . Twins vet is only doctor in building and covers his twin and rest of family including the mansion he lives in . He stole money from me . But what really hurts me to this day is I put my dog through 8 more days of suffering because of this lying cheat . I have all the proof and was urged to go legal . He never even reached out after I left message that my dog needed to be put down immediately.

Cant say enough good about these guys... both Carlos and Gilbert are awesome and their staff has as much enthusiasm as they do. I know Millie is in good hands with anyone in that office.

I have been going to Twins with my dog Teddy for 9 yrs and see Dr. Gilbert. He is very caring and thorough and takes the time to answer all questions. Teddy is very relaxed around him and the vet techs and their prices are reasonable. I would not go anywhere else!

The best service. Truly appreciated the vet taking the time to explain what was happening with my cat. Called me with my cats results and provided me with all scenarios, provided comforting words and did not push towards unnecessary procedures. All around a great experience.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They listen well, ask all the right questions, and truly care about your furry family member. The waiting room can accommodate multiple animals without them getting in each others way.

The vets and staff here are great. Theyre very friendly and competent and they treat our pets well. We had to put our beloved dog down last year and they helped us through a very difficult time.Pricing is reasonable. Theres not a constant push for more tests/treatments like Ive seen at some other vets.The only downside is you may have to wait a bit for an appointment if youre a new customer.

Ever since my bulldog has been going to see doctor Carlos at this place. My dog has been getting more and more aggressive. I pay doctor Carlos 500 every visit. And it does nothing My bulldog Was never like this. I dont recommend taking your Pets over there, especially to doctor Carlos. Doctor Carlos is not doing what he should be doing.

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this vet. We were so anxious about switching vets two years ago and i must say it was the best decision we have made for our pup. We have finally found a vet to last a lifetime! I cannot say enough wonderful things about both Dr. Cintrons (we have seen them both) - first, they are both amazing. They TRULY care about your pets and understand that they are family for most of us. They are sweet & loving with our dogs which makes us all feel comfortable. They are patient & professional with us when we ask questions (especially about our senior guy). They do not pressure you into trying treatments or vaccines you may not want for your pet. We have been seeing them for 2 years now and they came highly recommended by other friends & family. The vet technicians & the office staff are also WONDERFUL. The techs are super knowledgeable, patient & helpful. The office staff works so hard & everyone there has been so kind & helpful to us. I LOVE THESE VETS! My family have been bringing our pets there since it first opened. We had some terrible experiences with Vets up to that point but since joining there practice never had an issue. They are very thorough and comprehensive. Also they explain everything in plain English so you can understand what is going on when it comes to all the animals they treat. When we had to put our black lab Apollo down Doctor Cintron literally cried with us and gave my whole family (4 of us) great big hugs, I knew he genuinely felt the pain we were going through I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life. This is hands down barr none the best veterinary hospital you could ever bring your fur babies to and know they will fully cared for unequivocally.

I have been taking both of my cats to Twins veterinary clinic for years, and I can not say enough good things about this place. They are always very gentle, caring and loving with my girls, take excellent care of them, and charge good and fair prices. They even give a “good customer” discount! I have had very bad experiences with other vets in the past, from being severely overcharged, to sloppy veterinary work which endangered my cats lives. I trust Twins vets with my babies completely, and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet.

First visit at Twins with our new puppy; very clean lobby and friendly staff. Doctor Gross went through the puppy paperwork and explained thoroughly. However, the wait was extremely long nearly 50 minutes before seeing the Dr.

We admitted our pup to their hospital. The vets and staff were very thorough and updated us daily. They addressed all of our questions as they worked to remediate our little dog. We are very pleased with our experiences with Twins Vets. Our dog has been a long standing patient of over 10 years. We wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else!

I think the twins are probably good Vets but I didn’t really get a chance to see it. They are frequently on vacation without coverage leaving you to take your pet elsewhere for care. One of their office staff was rude to me on two separate occasions and the office manager called me a week later to follow up and was even more rude.If you are looking to have your pet cared for by a Vet that knows them and is there when you need them, as well as be treated respectfully by the office staff, this is not the place for you.

If I could give this vet zero stars, I would. I simply stopped in to drop a stool sample for my dog who my husband and I are worried may have worms. To say the women at the front desk were rude would be a wild understatement. From the moment I walked in, I was met with nasty looks. The woman I dealt with was slamming things as she was processing paperwork. As a brand new client, it was an extremely uncomfortable few minutes and overall interaction. It felt as if I were bothering them, I thought I was in a scene from Mean Girls lol While the vets may be wonderful people, my initial impression has caused me to look elsewhere. I would certainly encourage the women at the front desk to lean into a space of compassion and empathy as they are in the business of working with people, and more importantly animals. A simple smile and “how are you today” can go a very long way..

Ive been taking my dog here ever since I got him in 2015, they have been so caring with my dog. The staff and Dr.Cintron are always so nice and clearly care about the well being of my dog and are very personal with each visit. I think the prices are pretty good and reasonable as well. Ill keep taking my dog and any future pets here.

We are so happy to have found them. They really are great. The doctor is so kind and patient with our dog even though our dog gets aggressive. There’s even a side door that leads right into an exam room if your dog is not friendly with others. Truly happy here and I’d definitely recommend making this your new vet.

The Vet is so caring and loving to his patients. Today my daughter and him had to see her 16 yr old rescue cross the Rainbow Bridge. He let her have as much time as she needed to say goodbye. I asked him how he does it and he said its very hard to see his patients sick and in pain and worse when the owners cry. That is compassion. Best Vet ever

The wait for the appointment was a bit more over a month but soo worth it! The receptionist were very nice and attentive, waiting area is spacious and inviting and wait time was around 10-15 minutes. Once we were called in, the technician took a brief history of our furry baby and in about 5 more minutes we were greeted by Dr Carlos Cintron. Dr Cintron was very compassionate with my senior dog and did a few tricks to distract her during the painful vaccination/blood draws. He did discuss further care and medication treatment. Prices were very affordable too and my baby got a little gift from Dr Cintron. We have found our new vet!

Drs. Carlos and Gilbert are the best vets I’ve ever seen.I brought my 14 yr old cat in after a horrible experience with an incompetent vet who couldn’t draw blood or examine her without sedation because he deemed her too difficult.My first visit to Twins Dr Carlos drew blood and examined her without any problem. Vet tech Shane talked to her and knew exactly how to calm her down because she was just scared not difficult.So 7 months later her hyperthyroidism is under control c control and newly diagnosed IBD also under control. Both Doctors are so caring and compassionate.All my questions are always answered and they always call me back when I ask for a call back.The front desk staff is always helpful. The vet techs are amazing too especially Shane who sat with me to set up a Chewy account on my phone so my cat could get her medication.I can’t thank Drs Carlos and Gilbert enough because I have my cat back after I thought she wasn’t going to live much longer.I am so pleased with my experience at Twin Vets and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.

I just recently purchased a new kitten and went to my regular vet and was disappointed with the care and people that worked there. Was also told a wrong result which was upsetting . My friend recommended Twins. From the moment I called, Twins was caring and professional. The office squeezed me in and took another test on my kitten. Turned out my original veterinarian was wrong. The two Cintron doctors are amazing!!!!! I cant say enough about them!!!Unfortunately the practice has gotten too big and has lost the customer service aspect. It is not uncommon to be on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. It has been my experience, more than once, that the attitude of the staff that answer the phone comes across as rude, short and uncaring. Not helpful or willing to help at all.The front desk seem to pick and choose what call back messages to relay to the doctors. Therefore the doctors have no clue what the customers are experiencing when they call in and deal with the front desk.Website used to be better and had contact information. It seemed that you could relay a message the doctorswould be able to get or at least see. The new website is beyond simple with no way to reach or relay a message to the doctors.It is very frustrating to say the least! Sadly the doctors may be totally unaware of any of this :-(

Brought my two dogs in today for the first time to Twins. I was very impressed with the place and will definitely be back. I was expecting a $500 visit which ended up being under $200. Upon entering the room they gave each of my dogs a toy, Dr. Cintron was a great listener and I was very satisfied in the medical treatment received.

Unfortunately the circumstances I had to go for were sad. Our dog domino was very sick but the staff was phenomenal!! I have never been to a veterinarians office that was so caring. They genuinely do care. Our dog was in congestive heart failure and we had to put him down, but the Dr. And the nurses were so loving they made us feel comfortable with love and hugs and support. They made Domino feel all that love and support he passed on with so much love and hugs and kisses from the dr. And staff. They made him comfortable and he did not suffer. After we were sent a beautiful condolence card with Dominos paw print so we have a forever memory of him. The treatment was amazing brought tears to our eyes. I could not stop thanking them for their kind hearts. We do have other pets and I will definitely be bringing them there and would recommend them to everyone. The Dr. Is wonderful!! I want to thank them again for all of the love and support we recieved while we were there.

The Drs, Gilbert and Carlos Cintron, are amazing! They come into the room and make you feel so comfortable by the way they address your pet. They don’t just come into the room and ask what’s going on, they get down on the floor with your pet, greet them, make THEM, feel comfortable and then ask you what’s going on. I have been going to them for many years and would not change for anything. We all want what’s best for our fur babies and they are it.

Updated 2 years later - office has changed drastically downhill.Caring doctors- sweet office staff. I find getting appointments is getting harder and further out. Your dog shouldnt have to wait 2 weeks with an ear infection. But other than that they are the best around.

If I could put down zero stars I would. We heard amazing things about twin veterinary so we decided to bring our dog there ( our dog hurt herself running in the backyard and somewhere in her lower half was in pain.). They did an X-ray and ruled that she has two torn ACLs and needed immediate surgery. We thought this was very odd because she was still capable of walking.We decided to go to a few other vets and they gave us a very different answer. They took an X-Rays and saw the issue with a vertebrae in her back that she had from when she was born ( this was not health threatening in anyway). Sure enough one week of rest and she was good as new.Blessed We didn’t go through with this expensive, unnecessary surgery on our dog. Honestly quite suspicious and shame on Twins Vet.Would never recommend to anyone.

So let me tell you about Dr. Cintron and Twins Vet Hospital. They are caring, compassionate, and treat your pet family members as if they were their own. This hospital sees all of my familys dogs and they are never afraid walking in or going there for that reason. Recently my doggy Molly fell horribly ill. Dr. Cintron tried everything, I mean literally everything and anything to help my girl and unlike so many other veterinary hospitals he did everything he could possibly do to make it affordable for me to try and save my pup. I never met a Vet who was as caring and loving towards my dog as him. Molly could not be saved and it is incredibly sad, but I am so thankful to Dr. Cintron and his staff. They treated my pup like she was their own and went above and beyond in terms of compassion towards her and our family. My next puppy will see Dr. Cintron for its entire life for sure. Thank you so much for trying to help my pup and being so great to us during a really difficult time. You guys are the best.

Ive been going to Twins Vet since it opened. Putting down our cat was a heartbreaking experience, but Dr. Cinton (both) made it a little easier with their caring professionalism. We continue to go with our other cats, traveling a bit of a distance to do so. Theyre worth it!

My yellow Lab skid out on some leaves in the yard, and yelped out. She continued to limp thereafter. Called Twins, the day I knew something was really wrong. They squeezed her in that day. They didnt just jump to sedation x-rays. Gave it 10 days w/ meds to see if she got better. Unfortunately she did not. Manipulation of hind legs in addition to x-rays, revealed 2 ruptured ACLs. Docs are very good. Explained her upcoming surgery in great detail. You dont wait long at all when you are there. They have a great team of help there. Very efficient. Will stick with this veterinarian practice. Former pt.of another practice...

First time there. Place is very clean and organized. Doctors are very knowledgeable and professional. The prices are very reasonable. They would get a five star if I did not have to wait about 10 minutes every time I call for someone to pick up the phone. They have a front desk staff of about 5 people. My other complaint is I had to wait a month to be seen.

He was in constant communication with me while my dog JESSE was hospitalized and after -- just to see how he was doing. I cannot say enough good things about this place. For starters, the staff is kind and understanding. You can tell that they sincerely LOVE animals and sincerely love YOUR animal! Dr. Gilbert Cintron and Dr. Carlos Cintron are absolutely my favorite veterinarians in Long Island. I first heard of their practice from a visiting vet tech at VIP Pet Care, and wow, what a blessing that was! I needed a new vet for my chiweenie Kevin and I took him there and have never regretted it. Since then, Kevin has had great physical and a superb dental cleaning. A month ago, I brought in my beagle Sonny because he injured his back. He also had a different vet at the time, but I switched him to Twins and again - I was floored at the level of care he received from this staff. Dr. Cintron has helped Sonny recover every step of the way. I dont think he would have received the same level of care and kindness at his previous vet and I also dont think he would have recovered without the help of the Twins. I am forever grateful and will continue to be a client! Love this place!

My original Vet wanted me to get x-rays for something that my dog was puking yellow vile and I asked if they could give her some type of medicine to help her reduce the vomiting. They did blood work and everything came back normal so they wanted me to pay out of my pocket for an XRay that would most likely not show anything. So I was recommended this location, I called and explain what the issue was and they disagreed with the other vets office. I brought my pup in there, Dr. Carlos looked at her asked when this had started, explain it was 48 hours after the other office gave my dog a shot (Lyme) and he stated most likely she ate something out that she should not have after the shot and the bacteria got all over. He gave her nausea med and a paste to help settle her stomach. Literally 2 days later, my dog was back to normal and eating normal... Best place, sweet staff and knowledgeable to say the least.

No matter what, this is the best place for our fur babies. Our youngest has a big ole ouch on her paw and her tail didnt stop wagging while being cared for, shot and all. Doesnt matter that we now live 30 - 45 mins away. Our girls love Drs. Cintron and are always so excited to see them.

All staff are sooo nice. I was a little annoyed that I had to explain my pets situation 3xs! Front desk, pre exam then at exam. Dont these people communicate? And I was insulted wen my boyfriend used his credit card to pay our bill and I insisted that I be put on his file as mother. They werent even interested in wat I had to say during exam, Ive raised cats since I was 5and he had a cat while growing up. Now all mail comes to him, I feel is not acknowledging me just because he used his credit card. Little more attention to to both parents please. BTW the doc wasnt very assuring was actually asking us to make a decision about wat WE think is wrong with our cat, strange.

Very Clean , friendly staff, and great doctors , our dog loves them Never had a dog that actually jumps and runs for the door and gets all excited when we say time for the doctors! Haha. It’s great. Thank you’s for making visits so comfortable for us and Odyssea! 🐕.Would defently recommend them to family and friends 5 ⭐️ all the way !!!

Best Veterinary office on the South Shore. The twins (Dr. Carlos and Gilbert) are excellent, as well as all of the staff. Amazing care for our dog that needed emergency surgery, and very reasonable pricing.

The Twins are the best vets. Very caring and personable. The staff is always friendly and the place is very clean. My dog actually likes going to see Dr. Cintron.

I have total confidence in all of the staff. Doctors are very comforting and knowledgeable. The staff starting @ the front desk to all the help in the back are always pleasant and all about your precious pet.

Absolutely love this place my chiweenie has been going here since birth and they have always treated her amazing here, got her fixed here as well. All amazing people who work there and the doctor is very loving toward pets. Very clean, wide open waiting room, good parking, if i couldni would give it 10 stars

This place would rather put a wild animal to sleep that is injured than bring it to volunteer rehab facilities that they are aware of. They told me they wouldnt transport an injured bird themselves, that I would have to do it. Thats the type of workers that work here. They act like they care for wildlife/animals in pain but really its all an act here apparently. They would kill the bird before bringing it to a rehab center. Go anywhere else for the sake of your pets!

I cannot say enough good things about Twins. They have been supportive and caring. I cannot recommend them enough for care and boarding.

The vet was timely and handled Bear with care and concern. Were very happy we have found a capable and friendly veterinarian for our pets. :)

I wish there were more stars!! I cant say enough about how absolutely amazing these guysare! One of my dogs is deaf and every other vet couldnt handle him. Muzzles, meds...not here. They are so caring and made him feel so comfortable. I will never go anywhere else!!❤️❤️

We love the Vets and the facility always smells and looks clean. Dr.s Cintron (the twins) are knowledgable and compassionate to both the patients and the owners. The other vets are great as well.

The Twins are exceptional Doctors. And they greet and treat the pets as if they were their own.

Our Shih Tzu of 10 years old developed an infection within about a day and her health went downhill, she was up all night crying and she eventually became so weak she was practically paralyzed. In the morning we called twins to see if we could come in. We explained it was an emergency and that our dog may not recover from this. They expressed NO concern at all. They said the vet was not in today and left it at that. They didn’t bother to direct us to an alternative, they expressed no sympathy, they couldn’t even direct us to another hospital we could take her to. The receptionist just said, “The Vet is not here today, call back tomorrow”. And that was it. Never going back. Our puppy had to suffer even longer because those people couldn’t have a little human decency to re-direct us.

After we lost our older pup, it was to painful to think of walking into our old vet’s office with our younger guy. We were apprehensive about going anywhere and questioning every decision we’d made from food to walks etc. Everyone in my office swore by the service at Twins so we figured it was worth a shot. After our first visit I wish we’d been here sooner. Animal-people know animal-people and when the doctor kisses your dog’s head while listening to his heart you know you’re in the right place. The staff reassured us about all of our questions and it didn’t feel like they were doing anything unnecessary to make a quick buck. When it comes to your family’s health you need someone you can trust and we definitely found that at Twins.

The vets here are so nice! Price are reasonable. Unlike other vets who price gouge. I have never been to a veterinarian that remembers every pet they care for.Very clean and no wait time for appointments.

I was thinking of seeing these doctors so I am reading the reviews. I just read the review by Gary Locicero go check it out, it’s a disgrace! Even more so no response to the situation from the office speaks volumes. Gary, if you read this and your dog looked this way I would have looked into pressing charges.

I love Twins Dr Gilbert has been amazing with all our pets. He is truly an animal lover. The compassion he has for the animals is truly from his heart.

My gosh I am really impressed. I loved my vet in PA and didnt think I would find another one like them but this vet is great and it is unusual to find twin brothers as vets. I cant say enough good things about them
