I have had the pleasure of knowing Joanne for 15yrs. She is the absolute best. She groomed our Lola for 12 yrs. Always made sure she left looking like a diva with her piggy tails. She is still grooming Woogie for 15. He definitely is picky with who he allows in his fury circle. And he loves her and all the assistants she’s had work with him over the years. (They all still have all their fingers). When she announced she was moving a few years ago we didn’t hesitate about following her. We wouldn’t trust our fur babies with anyone else.

Edited 12/22/24 with name correction.Nicole and Emma were absolutely fantastic! I was highly recommended by my sister to bring my dog Halo here for a nail trim, so I called 12/21/24 and the girl said no problem bring him in at 10am. My sisters dog Karma needed a nail trim as well, so she brought her along. When we got there, there was no problem with the addition of Karma. Emma trimmed Halos nail, she said he did a great job!!. Halo will not let me cut his nails, not even put cream on his paws!! I was happy to hear, he behaved and treated her nice.Nicole trimmed Karmas nails, same deal, she said she did so good!! My sister and I laughed and said to her..Karma is so feisty and will bite my sister when trying to cut her nails. Nicole and Emma were absolutely the best!! We will definitely be back! Joanne did an awesome job cutting my dogs hair. I have been many places in my neighborhood and was not happy with their service. She was very pleasant and explained the type of cut she would give my dog. When I went back to pick her up I was so pleased at how beautiful she looked. I will never go anywhere else. She also came highly recommended by my Vet.

First time here and so happy I choose The Groomers for my little boys first groom. So happy with the way he turned out. Thank you Emma for a great cut. Biscotti can’t wait to see you again.

The Groomers are really excellent. We have been using Emma for years with our dogs. She is excellent and the entire staff are great. They are kind to dogs and most importantly my dog actually likes going there. It is spotless and it is completely open to view while they work on the pets. Truly a great place!Highly recommended

Nicole one of the kindest, most empathic, loveable humans I have ever met. She is super talented, gentle, and extremely loving to my dog. She is one of the very few people he likes. She does an excellent job with him and pays attention to detail. I trust her judgment 1000%. I will follow her wherever she is. The entire staff at The Groomers are amazing. The vibe is so good and they love the animals they care for. I highly recommend this place!

I get both my dogs groomed here and it is truly the best grooming experience I’ve ever had!! They are 5 minutes from my house and you drop off and pick up one hour later!! It’s so convenient… I always have the same groomer and she treats my dogs like her own… she always gives my dogs treats and toys afterwards and my dogs love her!! First time at The Groomers. Great experience! Boys are happy and squeaky clean! Look and smell great! They both got a handkerchief and a treat! Will be back in a couple of months. Young Ladies who took care of them were extremely polite and friendly. Communication was phenomenal from my initial call to the end of boys’ appointment.

They are absolutely the best groomers close to town. No cage, and literally one hour service. All the ladies there are super nice, sweet, and caring with the pets. Nicole is my lady she takes care of my sweet Havenese Sparky. Sparky doesnt ever hesitate to go with her.

This is the best place I have ever been to. The people there are beyond nice and their love of dogs is unparalleled. Emma is the greatest. she took care of my pup his whole life and I couldn’t imagine anybody else doing it. She would give him a mohawk. as seen in the picture below. I have been going to Joanne for 14 years would not take my Lucia anywhere else. Joanne and her staff treats my baby girl like she is their own. Never cage which I love. I dropped her off and an hour later Lucia is always perfect. This is the place that you need to go too.. Thank you always for taking care of my Lucia.😍😍😍😍😍😍

This is the only groomer that I would trust my 2 dogs with. I can not say enough about the staff, especially Emma. She goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is absolutely perfect. She is patient and meticulous. Highly recommend.

They were rude to me over the phone and hung up on me while I was in the middle of asking them a question. I’ve taken my dog to them multiple times for grooming but I won’t be returning again.

Such a great place! The people who work here are incredible. They are all so kind, especially Emma. She takes care of my senior pup and is so patient with her and makes her look fantastic! I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Love this place! They take 1 dog at a time, so your dog gets individual attention. Usually has the dog ready in an hour. My dog was very happy and so was I.

Cute shop. Very friendly and accommodating. My dog is a senior dog but Emma always gives him the extra attention and care he needs, shes great with him. Im sure all 3 groomers are great no matter what kind of dog you have. Definitely give them a call youll love it!

After Looking for A new groomer Im appalled to see these reviews. Seems like there is no loyalty at this establishment nor is there a sense of respect. As a groomer you have no right to tell someone to put their dog down even if you think thats the responsible thing to do. Will never come here because of that.

Today was my first time taking Rufus. My wife and I were a little concerned because we really dont like to taking Rufus anywhere. Prior to my visit I looked up the Google reviews and saw that Groomers had great feedback. I felt really comfortable taking him there and got a good vibe since the minute I dropped him off. Emma even contacted me after thanking me for my visit and was also concerned thats Rufus had a small rash. 5 star ⭐ review and would recommend their services.

The Groomers are the best!!!!! A++ Joanne, Kristen, Nicole, Emma, Donna & Stephanie are the best. Joanne has been both my dogs groomer for 19 years and she is THE best. They all truly love what they do and care for our dogs like they were their own. Give them a call you won’t be sorry.Thank you ladies 👍🏻

Made an appointment for my dog Charlie to be groomed here for the first time. Emma did a really nice cut.. Im so happy to have The Groomers so close to home, will definitely be bringing him there again! Thank you Emma!

I called to book my first appointment here because i saw the reviews and thought this would be a good place to go to for whenever my puppy needs cuts. When i called i was told that they couldn’t book new clients because “you could find another groomer with an earlier date than August and therefore i cannot book new clients”. I have never been so disappointed with a comment like that. How will you make new connections with new clients if you are so untrustworthy. Completely upset over that.

Love this place! Emma does such an amazing job on all of our dogs!! I wouldn’t trust my fur-babies with anyone else! Highly recommended, friendly staff and clean shop!

I dod a lot of research to find a new groomer for my poopie bear.. The staff here was so professional and willing to help my puppy on a days notice with his nails. They turned a 1st time customer into a new long lasting customer. Long Island Gem here !

Took my 2 large dogs here! Amazing job.1st: can I say that I appreciate the responsiveness to my calls and or messages. So many places these days don’t even bother to even call back when a message is left.2nd: everyone was soo friendly and my dogs left spotless and smelling great.These guys will be our go to groomer from now on.Thanks again!!

Bert and Ernie have been in Emmas care for 10 Years....I moved from Bay Shore to East Northport and we still go see Emma each month for a grooming. So concerned ...so friendly and such undivided attention at THE GROOMERS....Ernie has become blind from illness, but still shows happiness when he is in Emmas care.

Iv been going to The Groomers for almost three years now with my two Shih Tzu ‘s and Nicole does such a great job! They always leave their looking like models. The facility is clean. They don’t use cages when they are done. They hang out in a pen together. It’s so convenient getting an appointment and I especially love the feature confirming your appointment in case you have forgotten.

I’m trying to be as civil as possible when writing this review. We have been going to this groomer for years, even before they were on Brentwood Rd. and at Cozy Pet. She was very good to my dog Molly in grooming her properly. We had a couple of situations where we had to take her to the vet after an appointment either from the buzzer cutting Molly or a recommendation from her that something is wrong. I always respected her opinion when she advised me to take her to the vet as I always thought it was her being caring towards my puppy. That was until I picked up my dog this past weekend. She called out me for not being able to give proper care towards my dog, thought my dog was in pain, and advised me to take her to the vet and put her down. It is completely unprofessional to tell that to someone and way out of line to say that I can’t give proper care to my dog. I make sure to watch for signs if my dog is having issues eating, drinking, going to the bathroom etc. and hearing her say that hurts. I will never go back and give another dime to this owner. I’d advise you try someone else unless you want to hear about putting your dog down.

Emma and the team are the best. We have been using her for years and she always does a great job with are our dog Romeo. the prices are right in line with everyone else and she always sends us reminders about our appointments.

I have an 11 month old Maltese named Mylo its so hard to get him to sit still to comb his hair he was so matted when we brought him they did such an excellent job.this is now his beautician. Lol .He goes every 3 weeks and they maintain him and hes hasnt been matted again they were so professional and so kind and nice to not just Mylo but to us as well thank you

Hands down the best Dog Grooming there is on Long Island! I’ve been to so many dog groomers in the past, and let me tell you, I have never been completely satisfied. Not only is my dog’s cut exactly how I want it to be, but I have never had my dog given back to me within an hour time frame. Talk about quick and efficient. The best part is that there are no cages! Honestly, it’s a win not only for me, but for my puppers :-)

I have been going here since t hey opened up. The reason I have been going there is because clean their glands, clip the nails, careful because he has a n ulser in an eye. They are great at what they do.

Great place! Emma is the best! Well priced.

For the past 5 years we have followed the groomer, Emma. My dog loves her.
