Wet Noses Pet Sitter

It was our first time being away from our puppy since the day we got him, and they made us and my dog feel reassured about leaving each other. We left for vacation for a little more than a week. They are amazing at what they do. They fed him well, gave him his medications and took great care with him. The daily photos and videos made us feel less guilty about leaving the dog because he looks so happy with them and looks like he was having so much fun. I will definitely leave him again the next time I need, and will recommend to others.

Alan and Emily are absolutely amazing! If I can give 10 stars I would! I reached out to the them to board my 7 month mini golden doodle for 2 nights while my family and I went on a little getaway. They were extremely sweet and were able to care for him. Our puppy has never stood away from home, never attended any day care or boarding. They were so welcoming and made him feel at home from the very start of introduction. Alan and Emily did a Video call assessment and a walk through of their lovely home, they were extremely thorough in explaining the process and made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy in a safe environment. They asked questions regarding his vaccination records and sent history documentation forms via email to complete prior to our call as well as answered all of my questions and concerns with ease. I received photos, videos and updates throughout my time away and my puppy did GREAT! He was so comfortable and transitioned very well, it was amazing to see him socializing with everyone and the other dogs in the home.Communication, Professionalism and all the the above was outstanding.They were both an absolute pleasure and are definitely a keeper!

We could not be more pleased with our experience boarding our pup for 2 weeks with Emily & Alan. From the start we were reassured that she would be in good hands. And the daily photos we received of Nell and her new playmates confirmed that we made the right choice with Wet Noses. Highly recommended.

Emily and Alan provided great care to our pup Chase while we are away. We received daily photos, seeing that Chase was having fun times with his furry friends brought more joy and relaxation to our vacation. They went above and beyond when our return flight was delayed til late at night, they stayed up late to bring Chase back to us when we finally arrived home. I would recommend them to all pet owners, I’ve asked them to care Chase many times in the past, always had great communication and great services from them.

We have been using their services for the past 3 years and cannot say enough wonderful things about Alan, Emily (and their whole family)-- they have been such a life saver for us and our pupper-- who tends to have some separation anxiety and would NOT do well in a kennel overnight. They have always been consistent/reliable, easy communication, and so kind/warm/understanding with our dog and her quirks. Its such a relief to know she is in good hands and in a safe/cozy environment when we are out of town.

Before meeting Alan and his family, leaving for a vacation was stressful because we worried about leaving our pup Zeppole for even one night. We can now go way and not worry! She is so well taken care of and comes home so happy! We love the daily updates and pictures. Alan and Emily are the absolute best! Remi is my first pet ever, and I’m nervous about whether or not I’m making the right decisions for him all the time, but I feel completely safe and reassured by Alan and Emily every time I leave Remi in their care. I know that Remi is always well taken care of and that he’s having fun with his friends at daycare. I’ve also left Remi with Alan and Emily overnight on multiple occasions, and I never have to worry because they constantly update me with photos and videos. They are very attentive to his needs and preferences — I feel like they even know him better than I do sometimes! Also, Alan and Emily are extremely warm and flexible; they always try to accommodate my needs in terms of scheduling. I appreciate them to the max and recommend them 120%!

For two weeks at Wet Noses Pet Sitter, Alan & Emily cared with love and dedication for our beloved Dachshund-Canela; during this time the little sausage felt better than in her own home.She was always accompanied by friends of the same size as her, and under the supervision of a responsible adult, who daily provided photos and videos of our furry. BTW in the pictures she’s the little pumpkin.The confidence and admiration that we feel today for the work carried out at WNPS is very sincere, and the gratitude we have for your daily work has no limits. We cannot express how happy we are with Alan and Emily. We were very worried leaving our four cats for our first vacation, but can now rest assured that they will be taken care of thanks to Alan and Emily. We received immediate responses to any correspondence, pictures and videos, and most of all, very happy cats. Alan and Emily took the time to play with them, make sure they were well, cleaned up after some mishaps, and went above and beyond. My wife and I cannot recommend Wet Noses enough.

I literally just got home from picking up my pups and felt the need to leave this review. This place is AMAZING !!! These people are amazing ! I left my 3 pups with them for 3 weeks. Apart from receiving daily pics and videos they made sure my pups were well fed, and comfortable, they interacted with other dogs as well which is amazing for me since my dogs hadn’t been around other dogs so it helped with their social skills. I was very worried about my pups due to the whole hurricane ida and they were so quick in responding and letting me know that everything was fine with the pups and everyone was safe. When I went to pick up the pups they all had cute little outfits on and they even washed all the stuff we brought and im sure they bathed them because the dogs smell amazing !!! Honestly I give them 10 stars !! They really truly do care about the dogs well-being and it shows they aren’t just in there for the money but that they have a love for dogs and understand that dogs have feelings and they are like family to us and they do anything possible for them. They went above and beyond im so upset I didn’t leave a tip for them because I’ve never been more satisfied in my life. Here are some pics of my pups with the clothing they bought. I will for sure come back here and this is the only place I trust with my dogs from now on!!

We contacted Alan and Emily months ago in preparation for our vacation on thanksgiving week. In order to make our pup feel comfortable we had them dog sit once a week and even left her overnight. Leaving our pup behind for about a week wasn’t easy for us but we were comfortable because Alan and Emily have a bond with Lola. We received updates along with photos and videos of her while we were away. They even surprised us with Christmas photos of her with an outfit they gifted her. My husband and I are happy and know that you are in great hands if you leave your dog with them! :)

Alan and Emily were wonderful! Our 5 month old goldendoodle has some health issues which require her to take medication and additional supplements so we were nervous about where to board her when we had to go out of town. We found Alan and Emily at Wet Noses and the experience could not have been better. They were very clear and open with all communication so we felt at ease during the entire time our dog stayed with them. We also love that we received photos of her every day with new dogs frens to help socialize her.

As a new dog owner who had to take a spontaneous over seas trip, it was a total gut wrenching feeling having to leave my puppy in someone else’s care. It was such a daunting thought until I discovered Wet noses through another dog owner.Their professionalism and their attentiveness assured me, my puppy would be well cared for while away. My puppy spent 11 nights with Wet noses and everyday I received updates and pictures including videos. They treated my puppy as if it were their own. He loved his stay. So I had a trip for a wedding in Miami this past weekend! My wife was anxious and nervous about leaving our 4 doggies for 4 days with someone else! After all they had never ever stayed with anyone else overnight, so the anxiety was there for us! Well am I glad I found and left them with Alan and Emily! Alan & Emily and their family treated my Bentley like family. I was on a cruise and I loved all of the pictures and videos that they sent. When Bentley got home, he was happy and playful, which confirmed to me that he was really well cared for. I was nervous about leaving my five month old pup for the first time . Right away when I met Alan I felt a sense of comfort and ease. Alan and Emily took excellent care of our dog while we were away for a week and a half. We just moved to the city and were nervous about finding a new sitter for our pup. They scheduled a Facetime with us to show us their house and backyard and what our dogs routine would look like every day. They sent us pictures and videos every day and took great care of him during the 4th of July when there were loud fireworks that made him anxious. We are definitely planning on booking with them next time we are out of town and would highly recommend them.

Weve been coming to Alan and Emily for months, since our puppy was 4 months old. Theres nobody else we trust more to dog sit! Both of them are so nice, so flexible, professional and really take stellar care of every dog that comes into their house. They send us pictures and videos every day! This place was recommended to me by a close friend and I have taken my dog Darla there ever since. They always take great care of her and send me pictures of her stay, they treat her like family and are very accommodating to my requests. They care about her food her mood and behavior and since I started leaving her with them Ive noticed she has become a more social dog, which used to be more of an issue in the past because she was adopted and was a but uneasy around other dogs in the past. This is a great place to board your dog, specially if youre flying from LaGuardia!

We left our dog with Alan and Emily for over a month. We were getting daily updates and pictures, just like we expected! Our dog is shy and generally doesn’t like staying with anyone but he seemed totally fine. They made him feel at home. They also have a front yard for the pups to play. Highly recommended!

Always take good care of my pets, checking in very frequently sends pictures and gives me updates of how theyre doing, helps me stay calm and relaxed and able to go through my day knowing that theyre in good and trusting hands. We found Wet Noses Pet Sitter as a recommendation from neighbors in a Facebook group. I am glad we did!We needed a dog sitter last minute for two puppies. Alan walked us through all of the steps and set up a video meet and greet. He made sure to address any concerns we had.During the dogs visit, we received periodic photos and updates for our two pups. This is heavily appreciated!The area our dogs stayed was safe and spacious, they have an outdoor yard that caters to dogs. The fence is high enough where they can not just over. It also cam low enough where they could not squeeze themselves out.Wet Noses will definitely be our go to in the future. Professional, caring and responsible pricing. Thank you!

Alan and his family took wonderful care of my old pup (13 yr old). I was worried to leave her as she has some medical issues but Alan made sure to give her her medication daily (which includes insulin injections 2x a day plus pills) and pay extra attention to her. He was quick to answer any questions I had and sent me lots of pictures. Will definitely be using them again, nothing but the best for my baby.

The owner emailed us 5am the day we were supposed to fly out telling us that he would have to cancel the reservation even though my wife had already sent the required paper work the night before.Then at 8am we were told that they couldn’t accommodate us due to a medical emergency. I don’t want to make any assumptions of whether or not this was the true reason for the cancellation but I was reading other negative reviews and it seems this has happened before with a different client.Perhaps you should have a backup plan for your business since this seems to happen with often? I don’t usually leave negative reviews but we had a flight that day and I’m not sure what we would have done had we not found another dog hotel in such a short period of time.We wanted to patronize your business because you seemed like a really sweet family but you need to have a backup plan in these situations.

Recently left our almost 2 yr old Havanese, for a daycare trial run with Wet Noses. The only other place I have left her is with the groomer and the vet, because she’s been to every one of our last vacations.We are planning ahead for a pup less vacation, and I had done lots of research on pet sitters in Queens. Alan provided answers to ALL my questions and kept me updated with pics of how Luna’s day was going and her attempts to interact with other pups. I felt at ease knowing she was in a home setting, and not locked in a cage.Will definitely be leaving her for boarding, when we finalize our trip plans and maybe sometime in between as well, for daycare. Wish they were closer, so I could leave her for play time more often.

My pup Pablo loves staying with them. He always comes back happy and tired from playing with the other dogs. They are reliable and great for longer term stays when I have to travel for work. Another perk is it’s very close to LGA airport so if you travel out of there it makes for easy drop off and pick up. Wet noses was recommended by a friend and was super convenient. The process was quick even though I did not plan ahead. Wet noses worked with me and with my schedule! Super affordable. They update you with pictures and videos. This was my pups first time boarding, he came home as if he missed it. Will be sending my pup to board again!

I’ve been shopping around for a dog day care and boarder in my area. I found this couple and their services. To their credit, they were very thorough, documentation and reviews indicated that they were good at what they do and legit. We had a facetime meet that went well. After all the paperwork and confirmation to start day care was set, I received a text at 630am stating that all services were cancelled due to an emergency.I travel often and planned to board my dog in the future. Imagine if you are traveling out of state or country and right before you leave you get this cancellation. There was no alternate plan offered as some boarders have other facilities or set ups.Basically….BOOK THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I needed last minute sitter to attend my daughter HS Graduation. Contacted Alan and Emily, they were very accommodating. I really like that we were able to first meet & greet and was shown the space virtually. I enjoyed the pictures and video, this gave me peace of mind. 🐶💜

Alan and Emily did a great job looking after mushu while I went away for the weekend. Mushu usually doesn’t do well with others but they were able to keep him tamed. When I arrived to pick him up he was so happy and looked as healthy as ever.

I have a Pomsky, they’re known for being very friendly towards people and other animals. My dog was at daycare from 12-8 pm, when I arrived my dog was terrified to the point that he almost ran away. When I asked what happened all they said was “he probably just missed you”. That night my dog couldn’t sleep in his bed like he normally did, he had to sleep on my bed, then the following morning he jumped at the minimum noise that he heard and started to shake, during his routine morning walk he was afraid of dogs and people walking by, I called and asked if had been attacked by another dog while he was in daycare because my dog had pain on his neck, a guy answered and said “I wasn’t there, but something might of happened let me ask my wife and I’ll call you back”. It’s been more than six months and until now I’ve never had a call back or even a text message, this is extremely irresponsible on their end, they didn’t even care to ask about my dog. If there was an option for 0 stars I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE 0. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR BRING MY DOG BACK!

If I could give 10 stars I would!! My dog, Mercy, has been coming here for years, whenever me and my family go away. Theyre so reliable and trustworthy, and send me plenty of pictures and videos of her. Mercy always looks so happy in the pictures and enjoys being around the other dogs. She is very comfortable around them and is very comfortable going to their home. They go for walks and go outside everyday and they have plenty of dog beds and toys. We love our dog very much and we truly trust, wet noses pet sitter. Dont look any further, I highly and only recommend them!Once again 10 stars (not 5!) for my August 2023 visit. My sweet senior girl is now diabetic and blind. I was so worried about leaving her. Mercy has been coming here for years and I was reassured that she would be fine. They administered her medicine and made sure she was safe. I received pictures and was told my girl even made dog friends! Thank you so much and I will see you next year on my next summer vacation. You guys are the best!!!

Thank you to Alan & Emily to take care of my Bruno , I went for the whole week to my country and sadly couldn’t take Bruno with us , I was very worried to leave him because he always come with us to everywhere .
