Landing Lights Dog Run

I bring my dog here twice a week, it’s become routine for us. It’s a big open grassy area that’s fenced in. Theres never any other dogs but she loves running around here

Couple, bottom, return most liked view park; interest is like open breath, had a complete experience, madea, there is a construction change for Park(collect) new internet. I have thought of it as composure and free run: this is my first experience at the Free park, Landing Lights Dog Run. I have known about the Park before liked it, take a note about your journey to here. Like to breath, improve real breath. Has real note of great, sex, resemble. I am a civilian, I had a park to choose ( interest) hold cum. I made a doldrums, this is the park entrance, it’s to begin to interpret the common interests from USA. I like to have a few Park, think of it as dream new. I knew the view was good, the place is about voice, character(like) remeber, talk. I had reason believe, think. More task is resemble note again. Very nice, fenced in, dog run. My pups love it. All of the dogs and owners that we’ve encountered there have been great as well.

Nice but no division of small or large dogs and no place for water

There are good points to this run, but unfortunately, there is also bad ones. This coming from my perspective - had dogs all my life, majored in animal science, and work in the animal world.The good: It’s a good sized space for the dogs to use and for their owners to still be near and keep an eye on the action.The fences are in good condition and the side near the street is covered.I have met some good owners and pups here.The bad: This run may have once been a grassy field, well those days are gone. Hard dirt ground which makes the area very dusty, and your dog will need a bath afterward. Dogs with asthma - stay clear. Can’t forget the mud when water is involved.No separation in size, large and small stay together. This is challenging as even if they are friendly and just playing (as many like to say) smaller dogs can still be injured while running or colliding with bigger animals.No water source so bring your own. A community bowl is there, but it’s advisable to always have your own bowls to prevent communicable diseases anyways.And unfortunately as with possibly most dog runs, this is also frequented by dogs that are not very well socialized and can at times be paired with owners who do not see issues with their behaviors or worse may not understand it’s importance.

Had a great time with my dog and spent a quality time with other pitbulls.

I mean its a gated place for dogs to run and socialize. Thats about it.Theres no benches for parents to sit making it hard to stay there long for the pups.There seems to be a community water bowl but no supply of water.And the lack of a double gate is pretty dangerous and inconvenient as its very easy for untrained dogs to run out to the street.

Good space for any sized dogs to roam free. I come all the way from Jackson heights since Jackson heights has no Dog parks. My pup loves to chase the planes as they land and take off from Laguardia airport. Theres also lots of free green space in the area near the dog park where you can walk or run your dog 🐕 on leash.

Unfortunately poorly maintained yard with a disheveled fence. Definitely some visible broken glass, etc making it questionably unsafe for pups to run around. 😕

Great place to bring your dog. Not a complaint, but my maltese pups get dirty very quickly from playing in all that dirt!Good space for small and large dogs to run around and have fun.

Decent dog run but all the grass is gone. Needs some TLC people and dogs that go here are wat make it good. Needs a bench.To get in use the gate on 78th street twist the handle on the left gate to open and be aware theres only one gate so be mindful whenever you enter or leave.

It would be a great little patch of green grass for dogs to run around but the gate is broken which means dogs can easily get loose (there is also no double gate like at most dog parks). No water available so make sure to bring your own.

Great little dog park! Its only really a square with grass/dirt with no place to sit its not amazing but its nice for the area. Great people that go there too.

Nice place for dogs. There arent many places around there for dogs to have fun in, so this is essential to the area

Dogs feel right at home chilling with the walkers and trainers really made a welcome change to most dog parks around America!!!

Holes everywhere (including the fence). Reported it but still not fixed. I’ve noticed more aggressive dogs come in the evenings. No water fountains so bring your own water!

Place was closed with padlocks on every door. Also planes landing fly 200 feet above your head.

Cute space that is temporary until they get a new space a few blocks away. Friendly owners and dogs. I noticed there are usually a lot of big dogs rather than little ones. But if you’re little one isn’t easily frightened, then you should be good. They are all pretty friendly too and it’s a fairly big space for the pups to run around in joy(:

Small but great fenced in park!

A great places for bringing dogs to run around and play with other dogs. Most are well trained and socialized. There is no division of smaller and bigger dogs although I find the bigger dogs seem to stick together and vice versa. Bring your own water bowl.Cons:-Be wary of stepping in dog poop near the back of the park (pick up after your dogs people, cmon)-Occasional owners pop in with questionable dogs-Be wary of bringing toys (especially balls) as that will probably be the last time youll ever see it 😆

Beautiful, clean, and very friendly dogs.

This park is a small, semi-grass-covered field. Be prepared to get dusty from the part of the field that isnt covered with grass anymore. The end of the field has overgrown grass which is where all the pups poop. Also, BRING YOUR OWN WATER.

Great place for your dog to meet other dogs. It is well maintained. The only thing I would caution is going after or during rainy days if you do not want your dog getting dirty. Puddles of mud pool in certain areas.

The facility is fair. I wish it would offer water and a bit more care.

It doesnt have a double gate at the entrance so whenever anyone is coming in or out theres a chance a dog will dash out.

This place is a little neglected, both for walking pets and the adjacent baseball field.

This area, along with a baseball game area, is a little abandoned, if not almost completely neglected. If they renovated their synthetic field, it would be more suitable for playing games and not for just one sport, because there could be soccer, athletics and baseball in one complex.

It has no water or separation for the size of the dogs, but it is the closest to my home.

It needs to have water 💧 ooo bag because oh 🙈 people who dont pick up after the dogs 🐕 ☹
