Pet Supplies Plus East Northport

I’m really glad I decided to stop by here when I did which was pretty random. This is the perfect pet store, I typically view it as if chewy had a brick and mortar location. The staff was extremely helpful and even walk me through some of the differences amongst the difference in the foods. Everything was well laid out and affordably priced and they were pretty much any options you would need for any run-of-the-mill pet. I easily stop by once every couple of weeks just to grab a couple things because I have been really spoil my dog and she’s been happy with everything I brought her home from this location. Easy recommendation and suggestion from you for anyone looking for a general pet supplies.

Great service! Will go back again soon. $15 for a DIY dog bath. They provide towels and shampoo and conditioner.I brought my own nail clippers, toothbrush and hair brush. Next time I’ll bring my own shampoo as I prefer it.Much easier and faster than the home tub! Doggo is ready for company this weekend!Would have given 5 stars if they had storage shelves for the towels and my handbag and had warm air instead of cold for the blow dry.

The staff at this Pet Supplies Plus store is always helpful and accommodating. They take the time to assist with questions and follow up when needed. The store is well stocked and I look forward to trying their self bath facility for one of my dogs. I appreciate the way they always make me feel valued as a customer!

Great pet supply store that has everything you need for your pets at fair prices.The staff is always pleasant and willing to assist you when you need help. I always enjoy shopping here for all my pet supplies. It is my favorite pet store.

Never had an issue but today i was in there maybe 5 minutes and was hit on by the male cashier wearing a beanie and glasses telling me i’m very pretty, he thought that when i first walked in and he wanted me to know because he doesn’t want people to think he’s gay, asking me my name, etc. i was made to be so so uncomfortable. disgusting and will not be back

I really enjoy this pet store, and the main reason is the staff. They’re fantastic. Really really nice people. Overly nice and helpful like in a movie. If you want to gab about animals they’re happy to, if you want to get in and out super fast, they’ll pick up on that, and get you on your way. Selection, prices, location and parking; all great.It’s a just a nice shopping experience. Doesn’t feel like a big box store. Feels more personal than that, and I think that’s all due to the employees. Keep it up.

I recently decided it wasn’t worth spending $80 to have someone else wash my short-haired dog, and I looked up self-washes; came across this store. I live nearby and often drive past just to go to a different pet store simply due to familiarity. I stopped in to inquire about the bathing situation, the employees were kind and helpful in explaining how it works.I purchased a 5-bath package as it’s a significant discount from paying per bath (which is only $14 anyway). There is a four-bay wash station in the back with different heights of platforms and steps for big dogs. They also provide rubber aprons to keep you (mostly) dry and they offer towels!!!!! I said it’s like a spa. Shampoo and soap is also included. They just don’t provide any brushes. When you’re done washing, the dryers are right in the tubs but will reach the floor for those dogs who are over it. The area is gated so at the end, as I was the only person, it was easy to let my dog hop down and shake off on his own without worrying he’d go very far. Really a nice experience and I’m glad to save so much money as well as the effort of cleaning my own bathroom :)

Excellent service! Excellent manager!I highly recommend this store- Pet Supply Plus, East Northport!There are other national pet stores that are closer to my home, but I purposely drive a few more miles to Pet Suppy Plus in East Northport because of the qualitative service and products!

Always come to this chain as they carry Stella and Chewy which is one of the brands that our dogs LOVE. Wished they kept a larger stock of the meal mixers in stock but always friendly staff with a quick checkout.

Had everything I needed, hadnt been to this location in a long time, was happy to see they still had live animals at this location, and most others dont anymore.The ferrets were adorable. I wish I had room for one, but my 7 cats might not agree.

Drive 20 minutes for grooming appointment, to find out they closed the grooming dept for the day. Its fine they had employees quit, but a phone call or email would have been nice to not waste my time.

The whole staff is very knowledgeable. I went in for canine aspirin since my 14 year old havanese pulled a muscle in her back leg and was limping. The vet recommended the canine aspirin and the manager of this store actually uses the product I got for his 14 year old dog that has joint and hip issues and it works amazingly for their dog. Only on day 2 so not much improvement yet, but he was great and answered all of my questions and made me feel more secure in the purchase of the pain relief medicine. Keep up the great work guys!

My dogs are like children to me and am very selective in where I shop for them. I love Pet Supplies Plus for many reasons but mostly because they care about their customers. They are always happy to help and have excellent supplies that are great for my dogs. Their prices are competitive and I know I can always count on them being reasonable and helpful.

I absolutely love this place. I just got my puppy a few days ago and a friend told me to go here. The staff was unbelievably friendly and caring. They helped me get everything I needed to start off and then got him in for a cut and clean the next day... Im looking forward to visiting again soon!

Friendly staff. Good selection for dogs. The cat stuff though has been slightly lacking(wet food supply has been lacking). Make sure to sign up for their loyalty program and youll get loads of coupons.

I can not even express the INCREDIBLE experience I had last weekend at Pet Supplies Plus. Andrew, the sales associate who helped me was fabulous! I am new to the area, only have one 4 year old cat who is BEYOND picky on his food. I have been struggling to find a dry food for him to eat and my vet said he was under weight and recommended a few varieties of dry food (on top of his wet food) to try to have him gain some weight- all of which he refused. Andrew asked my multiple questions on what my cat liked and truly spent 10 minutes to get to know my cat - I feel like this kind of customer service is unheard of now a days - and picked out a type of food he thought would be my best choice for my kitty. I worked as a manager in the retail industry (not pets plus) in my early twenties and knew Andrew did above a great job on the retail side as well. He asked me if I was a member of the pet supplies plus rewards and was extremely knowledgeable of the companies policies- giving me insight at the end of our convo that if my cat didnt like the food to bring in the receipt and the rest of the bag to swap out for a different type (even noted with that statement the bag needs to be mostly full). I am VERY happy to find a pet store in my new community, with above par customer service and who TRULY care about their customers and more importantly for this industry - have a love for their customers pets! Needless to say, after only one week my cat has visibly gained weight and his coat looks shiny as ever! My go to pet store from now on - thanks Andrew!

My go to for dog and cat food. They carry many niche brands as well as the usual ones, great selection. Always a good sale going on. Everyone who works here us friendly and helpful. Lots of toys, too. Would rather give my money to people (these are franchises) than one of those big box corporate stores.

I had to return an item and anticipated annoyance by the employee at the register and then the manager. They were cordial and accommodating.

Pretty much shop all the time here now, they’re pretty fair with pricing and usually keep stock. They have a self grooming station and they have a professional groomer as well. Will continue to shop here

I love shopping locally and have always loved coming here. Today however when I tried to make a return and repurchase some cat food, the girl Gabby at the register gave me an extremely difficult time even with my receipts and would not fully return my money until I purchased the new items. This made no sense and when I questioned why she couldnt return my money first she just kept saying its because I was buying more stuff. When I asked again she became very nasty with me and had an attitude for the rest of the transaction. Because of her I decided to not make my purchase and just get my money back because I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Went into buy a fish the manager aka fish police decided not to sell me a fish after a brief conversation she determined that my tank was too clean, seriously is she kidding me. I went down the road and they happily sold me a fish. Will never step foot in that store again

This is where I go to make sure my Dog and cats are well fed and have the treats and toys they need. They have literally everything. Oh!And dont forget to bring the little fellow, this store is very pet friendly. They have groomimg onsite as well, big ir small, any breed. So drop Rover off, and come back to a clean, healthy, happy little, (or big), fellow. Very reasonable rates.

I volunteer at the local shelter and the prices of many of the products are fair to helpful on a budget when buying food and other items for the cats/kittens. Workers are very helpful assisting me to finding items to asking if I need help to car with 4-5 (40lb cat litter) bags .

I havent been inside many times. (When I have they are super helpful and friendly) But their same day delivery has been a HUGE help having 3 young kids and needing to get at least 40lbs of dog food!

I came in with my service dog. He’s wearing a big orange vest that says do not pet. The store employee kept trying to pet him. When I asked him not to he told me this isn’t the place for us and then went to another employee and kept talking badly about us loudly. This isn’t a place that welcomes people with service dogs?! How ignorant and offensive. I will never go here again or recommend them.

This retail outlet has always been fair and accomdating to my pet supply needs. their animal grooming service is second to none: i have never recieved anything but courteous service. my purchases have included 55 gal. fish tans and all the fixins; dog accessories and grooming; cat accessories; standard medications for both dogs and cats. their hours are generous; their prices are resonable; their attitude is fantastic. i highly recommend doing business with them!

I usually shop here for the Timothy Hay. My guinea pigs love the Pet Supplies Plus brand. I wish they would ship it once I move.

First visit to this location, everything was super easy to find and everything I needed was even on sale! The cashiers were very friendly and helpful top.

My one downside is the lack of toys for dogs who destroy everything.But, has the best prices on dog food that isnt pure chemicals and by products.The people who work here truly know what theyre doing and you can tell that they rather the hamster have a 40 gal long plus tank as an enclosure then sell you a crittertrail.Though they dont have porcupine whizzes, which is the only dental treat my dog will eat. So no points deducted for that.Id give 4.5 if possible

I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, but a pet parent for thé last 15 years. I’ve gone to numerous pets stores throughout my life & have to say this location is one of the best I’ve been to. The staff is consistently always friendly & helpful everytime I’ve started to come here since September. I actually don’t live anywhere near this pet store, but they sell my dogs food here as I adopted her from the town shelter & they recommended the food from this store as that’s what they feed the dogs. The food they sell is high quality food with limited ingredients. They have a wide selection of snacks for dogs which I love. They are even building a dog wash which I’m looking forward to them opening. They have other nice selection of toys, leashes, etc that are needed for dogs. The same can be said for cats. I don’t know so much about other animals though because I go there for my dog. They even help bring items to your car. I highly recommend this pet store!
