Hi Our family bought our first family dog Bailey , 18 years ago at Canine Corral.For 17 years he was part of our family and my three sons growing up and brought such joy to our lives. We still miss him terribly but he led a long and healthy life . I’ve meant to go back to Canine Corral to thank them - as I never returned after all these years - but I still will go back and tell them in person. But I remember the day at the store when I bought Bailey , and the store person instructed me very carefully and explained all the healthy vitamins and nutritional tablets and powders to always use and to also ensure I mix extra water in his dinner- and told me they recommended these things to have a healthy dog. They cared so much to take the time to explain. I want to tell them that I followed their recommendations everyday of Bailey’s life and I thank Canine Corral for taking the time to care to explain it all to me. I attribute them teaching me how to keep Bailey healthy through good nutrition and extra water in his diet - that we were lucky enough to have Bailey as long as we did. I have over the years defended Canine Corral when I hear people speaking in general against them because they are a kennel and not a private breeder - I myself had a couple people comment to me that I didn’t buy our family dog from a breeder . I only have praise for Canine Corral and thank them for selling us a wonderful dog who we dearly loved as our family and he loved us back.

I brought when he was 8 weeks old. I was online, saw his picture and fell in love right then. My mother and I went to the store and he started jumping up and down like her I am. I really didn’t notice him but my mom did. I as began to play with other dogs my mom was having a ball with him. He had such character then, and now wow almost three year later he is still the joy of my life. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful store with great employees. I truly trust them and I will be back.

My boyfriend and I had been searching for our first puppy in 2019. We visited a few boutique puppy stores on Long Island and would always walk out empty-handed and never feeling a connection with the staff. November of that same year , we stopped by canine corral and met Brittney and Talya. We weren’t 100% sure what breed we wanted, but they always had a great selection of healthy and happy puppies. We visited a couple of times before finally going with a miniature dachshund and found our first love , a long haired miniature dachshund. Charlie, has been the greatest addition to our little family.3 years later, we recently visited canine corral again and added another miniature dachshund, but this time a male. In both occasions , the staff have been supportive, patient and so helpful to make sure we had all that we needed for the pups. In both occasions , we always left with food, toys, leashes and knowledge on how to take care of the pups , potty train ect. Their dedication to the dogs is amazing. You will have all your pups info; which breeder they’re from, their parents ect. I cannot recommend a better place to find your next addition to your family. Thank you so much canine corral !M

The staff here has been nothing short of friendly, attentive, and helpful. We bought our dog in August of 2021 and he has a great temperament and is extremely healthy. He is a bundle of joy and we are extremely grateful to Canine Corrals team for helping us throughout this process.One of the things that stood out to us was how caring the staff is. When we bought our puppy when he was 11 weeks old, the staff did not let us take him home for a few days to ensure that he went to his proper vet appointments first. The day that we went to pick him up, the staff gave him a bath and had a 30 minute session with us to walk us through a step-by-step on how to crate train, prepare his food, and to make certain that we would follow up with the proper vet appointments. They also made it clear that our puppy cannot go near grass or bushes until he is fully vaccinated. Canine Corral has also made their services available for our dogs life such as offering free nail trimming and options to board him (at a cost) in a home when we are out of town.I usually dont post on Google, however, this store has been great to our family and we are so thankful to have Luke!

Highly recommend Canine Corral for so many reasons! Went in looking for my furever friend and didnt leave unhappy. The staff was great, super friendly, and answered all the questions I had. I checked out a few other pets stores on long island, and the vibe was just off. This family owned business and friendly staff had me feeling like I made the right choice. They provided me with the breeding info on the dog. And they even sent me home with some worksheets on training/tips for new dog owner. When I walked in to check out the pups, I instantly fell in love with this cutie, but who wouldnt? I have had 0 issues with my dog. She has grown into the most lovable, friendly, outgoing dog. She loves everyone, and all dogs. Canine Coral even helped me re-connect my dog with her brother. I could not be happier that I made the decision to check out Canine Coral, and got my pup from them!!!

I bought a havapoo puppy from Canine Corral in October after months of researching various pet stores in NYC and Long Island and going to several of them in person. Canine Corral did not disappoint and I truly had an amazing experience. They have an incredibly kind, knowledgeable staff who let me take my time playing with the puppies and making a decision. As a first time puppy owner, they calmed all of my nerves, provided ample education and recommendations and even checked in several times during my first week to make sure things were going well. My puppy was and still is healthy, happy and has been the absolute perfect addition to my family! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I’m forever grateful for my amazing puppy, Riley.

The model in the picture is Lucy. She is a puppy we bought over a month ago from Canine Corral. She was my first pick and we left with her the same day! The process of getting a puppy was very easy. Me and my husband were never pressured and we were able to spend some time with her in their designated area before buying. We got a leash, collar and toys for her for free. They also had food available in the store so we didn’t have to go anywhere else but straight home. She came microchipped and got a fresh bath before we took her home.- After a vet check Lucy turned out to have an ear infection- and I need to tell you that the store really cared. They helped with the medicine and I was in touch with them. They always answered the phone. That was really amazing. The infection went away in LESS than 10 days and now I am the happiest mom of this beautiful and smart puppy that just gives me so much joy. Thank you Canine Corral!!

My family and I purchased our first dog in 2000, a bearded collie (George) from Canine Corral. We were so incredibly happy with him. He was the perfect fit for our family and he lived a wonderful life of 15 years. What I love most about Canine Corral is that they’re not your typical puppy store. The employees are educators and take the time to understand your lifestyle to help you purchase the best suitable dog for you and your family. We had such a wonderful experience that we returned a few months after our first dog passed away and we purchased our current dog, Spencer, a playful, happy, mini springer doodle who is now 5. We are forever thankful for Canine Corral for bringing these furry loved ones into our lives. Thank you Canine Corral!

I’ve purchased 3 dogs from Canine Corral since my kids were little. A German Shepard named Fabio about 25 years ago, a Boxer named Stella about 15 years ago and my current Boxer Fabio who is now 3 years old. I’ve had a great experience with the staff of Canine Corral all of these years, they are extremely helpful and incredibly patient each time. They were very diligent in processing paperwork, their staff is super friendly and they followed up each time after purchasing one of their dogs while I never felt pressured to make up my mind right away. Their store is very clean and the dogs look very happy.It is also very convenient that they have a veterinary location right behind the store, it makes for a more family oriented feel.I recommend them to anyone that asks me because I truly believe they have the pets best interest at heart!

We didn’t think we were ready for another fur baby after the passing of our last rescue but then we saw HIM. It was love at first sight and after arriving at Canine Corral and meeting him the bond was sealed. The staff at Canine Corral are wonderful, they are so knowledgeable and helped us through the purchase process, picking out food, snacks and toys. Special shoutout to Brittney and to the staff who still follows up on his progress. Pepito is thriving with us and we are over the moon having him in our lives.

I haven’t walked out with any new friends as yet but I’ve visited a few times now and I genuinely enjoy coming by and seeing and interacting with the dogs and just enjoying the down time. The staff is friendly and they don’t rush you and they encourage you to go in the playroom with the dogs if you’d like. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a new dog.

In 1988 they sold us a big oversized Collie - who lived 14 years - In 1996 they sold us Shadow a pure white husky pup - who l also lived 14 years - both healthy and gorgeous -The collie Champ could not live upstairs because you couldnt sit down around him... he would bark constantly until you got up - some kind of weird and aggressive herding instinct. We hired trainers who came wearing black ninja like sleek clothes - who promised they were top trainers and trained Dobermans.... The dog would not yield to them... we were told he was very dominant... so We gave him full use of the 1st floor from the back of a split level and full use of yard...He spent the days playing with kids and enjoying the den and basement to sleep at night - He never got aggressive with people using the space for laundry etc... they just could not sit down inside in his view.. Outside ok though. Hahah. He loved the routine and got tons of time with an at home grandmother and kids. When we have a pet we commit and never give up - (unless a safety issue and this was not). We had so many great years. He ate apples under the apple tree.... ran around with his huge big main of golden hair and white rim... Loved him. We brought in another pet from CC 8 years later and they got on super.They sold us Shadow a white husky pup in 1996. He came from a breeder in Iowa we were told. He would race after Champ grabbing onto his big mane and they were happy. Healthy. Made the house a home.After that we began rescuing over the years when we saw abandoned Huskies.. another high maintenance type dog needing lots of yard room to race, exercise and attention.....We can never forget these two amazing dogs thanks to Canine Corral.Our advice to any puppy buyer is to ask a vet check them before taking home - if worried about the colds dogs can get from big places. Most puppy stores do use a vet to help keep costs under control by getting a professional price instead of retail - but we opted to take our puppies to local and reasonable vets nearby for well visits.When I think of the best years of our lives - the dogs are part of that picture. They were simply irreplicable.We stopped in last week just to see the puppies.. and what I did like was the relaxed stress free vibe there - puppies seemed genuinely happy and not tense or under any weird bright lights. Well paired for tussling - and courteous -not pushy staff.

Let me start off by saying that the staff is very nice. We Bought our puppy at canine corral and the first day was great! We got her at 12 weeks old. When we took her to the vet a week later and she bit the vet which was odd for a puppy so we coughed it up to be her being scared. As the time went on there were other tendencies that make it seem like she is from a puppy mill. She is possession aggressive, food aggressive, barks at everything and everyone. She’s super anxious all the time and has severe separation anxiety. This is not normal for a puppy that we got at 12 weeks. If she was a rescue it would be different. We paid a lot for a puppy we thought was from a legit breeder but I have my doubts. She is a year old and still has a lot of these issues. Just be aware.

My family and I have bought many puppies from Canine Corral in the past 40 years. They are wonderful people, patient and really help you understand which dog may suite your family best! We have a Shih Tzu we purchased from Canine Corral, her name is Bella and she is now 13 years old. She’s extremely healthy and has many more years ahead of her. They helped me care for her the first few weeks of her purchase and addressed all questions I had as a first time dog owner myself.I highly recommend Canine Corral to anyone who is looking for a reliable store with healthy pups to become part of your family. They are wonderful!

I got my son’s puppy form here. We had a great experience, the staff is friendly, ask for Britney she is the best. They have called every week to make sure the puppy is fine. They provided advice to us because we a new to puppy life. If you are getting a puppy, this is the place to get it. Drove all the way from Brooklyn.

Canine Corral in my opinion is the best place to find a wonderful addition to your family. I first went to Canine Corral in August of 2012 and added one of the best additions to our family. We got our first Boston Terrier . We named him Spidey. The staff at Canine Corral was amazing. We were 1st time puppy owners and we had no idea how to train him. Ira and his staff answered every question and concern and were available anytime. We called them a lot and they never seemed to mind. They helped us whenever we had a question. Our Spidey was so easy to train using the advice of Canine Corral. In 2019 we decided that Spidey need a sister. So with no hesitation we knew we would only go back to Canine Corral. We added another beautiful addition to our family named Lucy. Another Boston Terrier. She has been such a great dog. The dogs we received fro Canine Corral have the best temperament. Fast forward to the present 2020. My son wanted one more puppy. We wanted to get a black and white Boston because our other two are brown and white. So we of course went back to Canine Corral and picked up our newest addition Sadie. In all the years from the first time we went to Canine Corral the customer service has been amazing. Questions are always answered. Dogs are very healthy and we would never go to another breeder. You can see how much the staff love the dogs. The place is always clean and they dogs are always happy. Thank you Canine Corral for helping us have the best three furry babies in our family! I recommend them highly. You will never be disappointed!! We will never go anywhere else.

They were very professional. Took the time to answer our familys questions. They even follow up and check in in the subsequent days following the addition of a new puppy! They let us take our time to decide which puppy was right for us. Then they filled up paperwork and detailed what we needed to do to to make the puppy feel right at home. I would definitely recommend patronizing their establishment! And I would go there for any future puppy purchases myself!!

I cant say enough about my experience there. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They took the time to make sure I knew and understood all of the nuances to caring for a small puppy. Within the first week of having our little girl home they have called and texted to make sure all is well and to see if I had any questions. We have another puppy same breed we had purchased from another breeder previously and we definitely did not receive the same level of service or information from the previous breeder. I am so happy with the over all experience and service from Canine Corral.

Hello I have bought several dogs from Canine Coral over the years… A Rottweiler, Yorkshire terrier, silky terrier and more recent just last year December a Maltipoo…. Please understand this is not a pet store there registered as a breeder…. The puppies you get from them come with the puppies parents information. Every dog I got from them I never had any medical issue with…. The staff is AMAZING there very knowledgeable on the breed your interested in…they will follow up with you after your purchase not just the next day for days to come…I also have recommended friends and family to Canine coral and they same as me…. I bought my Mini Aussie, Lundy here back in early 2014. Shes 9 years old now, and has been my best friend for almost 9 years. I got another Mini Aussie in 2021 from a breeder, and can say that Lundy is just as great of a dog, if not better. At the time of purchase, everyone was friendly and the start up bonuses that came with the purchase made everything that much easier to get started. Thanks for my BFF!

Visited this awesome place twice before pulling the trigger on a German Shepherd, they trained us, prepared the puppy, got all the paperwork, all basic necessities and we left with our very first family pet.Talk about service; their training is helping us through the night. Their attention and expertise is 💯 accurate. Today we are raising a smart and playful puppy. They do everything for you.Financing available, i just walked in and left with a puppy.The price was amazing, I got a German Shepherd under the average 3k, got some great puppy food, and more training on feeding, disciplining. We got 2 havanese puppies from canine corral 14 years apart and both were great experiences and amazing dogs. Brittney helped us out so much and answered all our questions at pick up it was a great experience. I can’t wait to get our next dog here!

I love this place I’m 11 years old and I have been coming here for 3 years to watch the dogs grow grow I can’t have a dog but being their makes me feel like I have a dog of my own I can pick them up play with them and call them my friends they welcome everyone I love this place

This was such an amazing experience when picking up my forever pup. All the puppies in the store are well kept. I picked up an adorable golden doodle and I couldnt be happier. The process is so seamless they go over everything in the training for when i brought him home. They continued to follow up with me in the weeks afterward to make sure i was happy and everything was going well. In particular i liked that i had all the paperwork on the puppy. Their professionalism shows why they have been in business for 60 years. I would highly recommend getting a puppy from here the staff are so welcoming and youll have the best experience.

We bought our first puppy there 18 years ago. She gave us 17 amazing years before she crossed the rainbow bridge. This year we went back just to look and fell in love all over again.They have many breeds (large and small), they come with breeder papers and are chipped. Puppy packages also offer some perks like free vet care (limited).They even check up on you weekly to see how everyone is adjusting and answer questions you may have about your new fur baby.

This place is so amazing. The personnel is incredibly friendly and helpful. This place allows you to pick up and play with the dogs. That way you are able to connect with your new pet, the way we connected with our new family member (Luna) a cockapoo 💜

Read the Puppy Mill Pipeline bill and educate yourself if you are looking for a dog. According to new legislation, shops like this won’t be allowed to sell dogs next year because of how their sources treat the animals. It already should not be allowed to exist in our state and the damage is done to every dog this place has ever sold. Consider that when getting a new pup - choose a reputable breeder or rescue.

Not content at all with their service. Still have not received paperwork for my Shihpoo puppy. They lied to me. When I phoned I was being discipline as if I did something incorrect. Do not believe he is the breed they stated he is. They informed me they use reputable breeders but I question this. I should have been contacted & received some assistance but was not. Also beware read the fine print in the contact that I could not take the puppy to the vet. READ THE Fine Print

We brought a York shire tea cup and this was our second one because our Bella passed away .We brought her and about 10 days later she caught pneumonia we took her to the vet and she was there two weeksMeggan and Karen and all the staff was so concern at canine corral and check on her daily and also at the veterinary hospital .they made sure that Maxie needed to be 100 percent and not to take any shortcuts on her treatment . She then came home our healthy little Puppie , Words can’t express how Canine Corral handle everything they took care of all the bills and everything .This place is highly recommended by myself and my colleges.They truly love what they do and. Care about all there puppies .

I got 3 dogs from canine corral ,all wonderful and healthy. My pug lasted 14 years. never had a problem with any of them. Ira is a amazing and kind man, and so is his daughter Britney. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My daughter adopted a dog as a puppy from a shelter. She is the only one of our 3 that has issues. Love them all.

Purchasing a puppy from Canine Corral has been nothing short of a nightmare.As with our first puppy, we expected a healthy and playful angel to enter our lives for many years to come. Unfortunately, the puppy we purchased from this store had to be humanely euthanized a few weeks after she came home because she was so severely ill, at only two months old. Our family is still devastated and utterly traumatized from this horrible experience.Canine Corral knowingly sold us a sick puppy. Once we noticed issues with her respiratory system, we immediately took her to the animal hospital they pushed us to utilize, the Animal Center LI. It is obvious that Canine Corral sells sick puppies in some sick scheme with this hospital. At this vet, we were informed within minutes that she had kennel cough, pneumonia, and an intestinal parasite. This is all after the Canine Corral veterinarian OKed our puppy to come home 3 days after the purchase date. She could not have contracted this within our home as we have no other dogs and she never went outside.As is proper protocol, we informed Canine Corral of our puppys highly contagious illnesses as they have many puppies in their store. For the first few days they had been in contact with us regarding the puppys status but once we informed the store of her highly contagious illnesses, they stopped contacting us until we decided to forcibly remove our puppy from the Animal Center LI due to their gross negligence and horrible communication about the health of our puppy. While in the care of the Animal Center LI for five entire days, our puppys health deteriorated to the point that she was unrecognizable, alike to a living corpse.Immediately after we notified the Animal Center LI that we will be moving our puppy to another hospital, Canine Corral called us and demanded that we keep our puppy there because this is normal for puppies adjusting to a new home. While this is not a review of the animal center, they should not have shared my pets health information or my decisions regarding my pet with the store I bought her from. We were bombarded with attacks from both the store and the animal center they work with, while all we wanted to do was help our angel survive the horrible situation she had been put into and get her the proper care she deserved.As per state law, Canine Corral was obligated to reimburse us for the veterinarian bills at the new hospital because they sold us a sick puppy. It took days and countless calls with multiple people to finally speak with their only manager. Not only was our new puppy dying, but we were hit with more bills because the initial care they recommended was nowhere near what our puppy needed and we needed to work with the store to facilitate this process. The service provided by the store during this difficult time was highly unsatisfactory and lacking in every aspect.Unfortunately, our already sick puppy had gotten even more ill at this animal center, and we chose to humanely euthanize her just two weeks after welcoming her into our home. A few days later, Canine Corral AGAIN contacted my grieving family attempting to save face, offering to give us another puppy for free. They even stated we could have our puppys siblings to feel closer to her. We were not aware Canine Corral knew of the passing of our puppy. We did not want to communicate with them any longer as we were traumatized and mourning the death of our puppy. We declined their offer because we could not go through this terrible experience again.If I could give 0 stars I would. The experience my family and I had with purchasing a puppy at Canine Corral can only be summed up with one word: devastation. Do not purchase a pet from Canine Corral and DO NOT use their recommended animal hospital, the Animal Center LI, unless you want to lose your pet in one of the most devastating ways possible.

Gave us the BEST FRIEND EVER for our little family 💖 we love our little girl so much shes so beautiful and cuddly and has so much personality. Shes the absolute best. Thank you canine corral ❤️ for the best little fur baby in the world! Plus wonderful staff very helpful and kind. Let me play with her and bond with her. As long as I wanted ! Which is so important and they werent pushy at all. They allow you to make the right decision for you and your family. So I would recommend canine corral. Plus my best friends got their baby from here we well. They even went with me to see our little mini dachshund. So go getter you wont regret it !

This place is absolutely horrible. The poor dogs here broke my heart. I hate pet stores they should all be shut down. I came here only to try to support my friend in the dog she wanted and once I saw the dogs there and the dog she wanted I honestly just wanted her to get the poor dog out of there forgetting my own morals on shutting down pet stores like these. These poor dogs dont have any toys to play with and are kept in this tanks just waiting for someone to take them. It is absolutely heartbreaking. Please if you care for animals shut these places down. These poor dogs on yelp have all been sick.

We bought Ayden our golden retriever in early August 2021. He was 14 weeks when he came home. Canine Corral is a great pet shop. The people were very helpful and did not pressure us into a sale. Our dog is healthy and has no behavioral disorders. You can tell Ayden came from a good breeder;I highly recommend Canine Corral to anyone who wants a puppy.

We had a wonderful experience at Canine Corral! Great staff, very informative. The puppies are all adorable! It’s so clean, never smells. Very attentive staff to the puppies needs. Such an amazing experience from beginning to end.The owner & ALL the staff are amazing, friendly, patient, understanding & professional. Choosing a new pet is very hard since it is a life time commitment. My daughter was allowed the time she needed to bond with a few dogs. Never did we feel rushed through the process everyone was so accommodating. I’ve never experience such professional. All my questions were answered, all my concerns addressed. All the options were explained. Even after going home with our new friend, Brittany & the team followed up with us daily to make sure our pet was adjusting to the changes and even offered assistance when our Alex had a little trouble eating. I am beyond thankful to have found such a wonderful place, my daughter is beyond in love with her new companion. As a customer it was nice to feel that their job was to make sure we were happy, genuinely happy. You don’t experience that anymore now a days. Thank You Cannine Corral Team we appreciate everything. Upon walking into this store I was greeted by a really helpful staff that cared enough to help me pick the right puppy. One in particular Miss Brittany really helped in providing me with all the information, advice and necessary steps to make my puppy comfortable with his new home and family. They’ve Also provided me with a 5 year vet care packet on their behalf. Now this goes to show that this store is true to their word in the care of their puppies Health and environment. My German shepherd who is only 7 months old is comfortable with his environment he’s healthy and the advice provided for training was easily affective. Thank you canine corral for a great experience I may come back for a second pup soon!

Purchased my puppy from this store and less than a week later she almost died. Was hospitalized and paid thousands. No empathy or responsibility from the store. Highly recommend against this store!

I’m kinda surprised that this POS establishment is still in business. These crooks sold me a sick pup back in 2016. Not to mention the staff at the time were rude. He was sick the day I got him and lived a life of random unexplainable episodes of extreme symptoms such as severe bloody/watery diarrhea and constantly vomiting bloody bile. It devastated my family when he passed away just 3yrs later due to kidney and liver failure. He spent 24hrs in ICU and doctors could not pinpoint the cause.Stay AWAY from this place and PLEASE do your research before taking home your furfriend.

I purchased a cute puppy from Canine Corral this past weekend & I cant imagine purchasing else where. The representatives at CC were very welcoming, answered any questions I had, and extremely knowledgeable about my puppy and his care instructions now that hed be coming home with me. All the puppies are available for you to take out of their show casing to see if theyd be a right choice for you, I truly appreciated the employees allowing the customers that bonding time without constantly hounding you down or making the customer feel uncomfortable. As a first time puppy owner, its super comforting that the representatives at CC call everyday to check in on the puppies well being. It seems as if they genuine care and nurture for each pup! Id definitely recommend purchasing a puppy from Canine Corral.

Let us put aside we got the cutest puppy from here...this place was clean and bright. Dogs were easy to see, happy and obviously well taken care of. There made the adoption process easy and special for my 11 year old that picked the puppy out. Would give 6 stars but prices are a little high (worth it though) and I couldnt take all the dogs, which was a bummer but understandable as well.

After our first time walking into the store to follow up calls and visits, weve had really professional and caring service provided by both Brittany and Karen. They are both kind and patient. Brittany was in the store when my husband and little son first visited and chose the pup. However when they went home, we read the reviews and became so disappointed and on guard. We expected the worst and started to wonder if what we read was true and if we will be anticipating problems with picking up our pup, her health and future interactions with staff. We had friends asking about the place and asked if they should check it out. To be on the cautious side, I informed them Id rather wait it out to make sure our experience to the end remain a good one before we actually share the name of the store.Im glad to confirm that our experience was undeniably wonderful from the start to the end!My husband and I are realists. We are also very ethical professionals ourselves so we are very particular and critical. On the day of our pick up, we continued to receive great service and follow personal phone calls f from Canine Corral from both Brittany and Karen. Our puppy is thriving in health and personality. She is an unbelievable little girl and is firmly a part of our family. Our kids have been begging for a dog for so many years. Now we think there was a reason... it took this long to find the perfect one and from the perfect store.And yes, Ive finally decided to refer my friends and family!

Canine Corral is the best! My family and I have went here for all of our puppies for as long as I can remember. They recently helped me find my perfect dachshund puppy! My mom has a wonderful chihuahua and my grandmother has a beautiful black lab and a shihtzu. Unlike other pet stores I’ve been in, Canine Corral does not smell like a kennel. The staff is amazing and will always go the extra mile to answer questions and to help find the right puppy for you! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING BUYING A PUPPY FROM CANINE CORRALMy wife and kids had wanted a dog for many years & my kids put together a 5min power point presentation on why our family would benefit from a dog. They explained they were so sad the last 6 months, unable to see their friends due to Covid, & having a puppy in the house would make them so happy. So my wife started looking for breeders & Canine Corral had popped up online. My wife called and explained we were looking for a hypoallergenic breed. Brittney from Canine Corral told her they just got in a Goldendoodle. My wife asked where the dogs come from & Brittney said from “local breeders”. So we went down to Canine Corral & met the Goldendoodle & my entire family fell instantly in love with her. She was playful, loving and full of energy. Brittney said the dog was $3500 and if we paid cash would not be charged tax. So we agreed. Fast forward 10 days later we picked up our new furry friend & once inside our car we noticed instantly the dog smelled absolutely awful. She smelled like she was sitting in her own urine for days. When we called the next day Brittney said she was bathed earlier that day, which we knew was a complete lie. We had the puppy for several days & we all grew extremely attached to her. Unfortunately, we noticed my daughter was having an allergic reaction to the dog. Her face was puffy & swollen, she was itchy, had watery eyes, congestion, & difficulty breathing. We took her to the Doctor & he confirmed it was definitely the dog that was causing this (most likely from the skin dander). It was at that point my wife and I made the heart wrenching decision to relocate the dog in the best interest of our daughter’s health. We called Canine Corral and spoke to Karen. She said, “Sorry there are no returns unless the dog within 2 weeks has a true medical/congenital condition diagnosed by the Vet”. We didn’t ask for any reimbursement, we simply wanted the dog to have a good home. Karen gave us a manager Jessicas number, who we left a voicemail for, but never heard back from. Fortunately a friend of friend put us in touch with a dog rescuer in Suffolk. After speaking with her and explaining the dire situation, she asked what the breeders name was. When I said Jeff Holenda, she said, “I’m very sorry to tell you this. Jeff Holenda is breeder located in Missouri and runs a puppy mill.” She looked up the history of this puppy and said, “Jeff sold the Goldendoodle to Canine Corral owner Ira Nierman for $100 who was then sold to our family for $3500.” To hear this was gut wrenching. At that point the rescuer agreed to pick up our puppy the next day. Saying goodbye to our Goldendoodle was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever faced in our lives. We were devasted and full of tears as we gave the rescuer the puppy and all of her food, toys, bones, etc. The rescuer informed us that this puppy was way more Golden Retriever than Poodle and that’s why my daughter was so allergic. Who knows how these poor dogs are bred in puppy mills? To add insult to injury when reviewing the paperwork to give to the rescuer, I noticed on the bill of sale the actual price of the puppy was $3222.09. So Brittney ripped me off $278. The rescuer did find a nice family who had 2 other dogs and our daughter recovered completely 4 days later. Shockingly Karen from Canal Corral called 2 days later and asked how the dog was. We expressed our extreme displeasure with Canal Corral, how they would not take the puppy back and how we knew the puppy was from a puppy mill in Missouri. Karen’s response: “The dogs come from all over”. We mentioned about being overcharged the $278. She said she would make sure the manager Jessica would call us to discuss everything. Do you think Jessica ever called? No way. My wife and I were mortified Canine Corral had an operation like this and cared so little about the puppy that they would not even take her back 8 days after we took her home from them. They are inhumane, liars, and sadly it is the puppies that are the ones suffering the most from this.

We have been using Canine Corral for over 11 years and four dogs later we would not trust any other place to get our next family member. They take amazing care of all puppies while they are waiting for a forever home. They provide detailed training instruction before you go home and always available to answer questions. If you are looking for your next pet, you should really consider talking to them and going for a visit 🐶❤️

We adopted our beagle a year ago. At the time we thought he just naturally had bad anxiety, but after boarding him here while we were on vacation, he came home and was not himself for a little over two days. When he finally got his personality back he barked and I realized he had lost his voice. Never have I heard of a dog losing their voice. They lied about their service, saying their workers take them home so they have other dogs to play with. But they left him in a cage for 10 days. I did not pick up the same fun loving, crazy beagle. He must have barked and howled so much to be attended to. Do not go here. Do not buy a puppy from here. We have a friend that got their dog from here as well and her dog has the same anxiety problems.

I was asked to remove my review due to the owners “trying to help me” but after much thought, conversation with others, and no communication with the store owner I decided enough is enough. Nothing will return my dog to me, and they certainly don’t even care much about family or the animals. On New Year’s Day we decided to take our 2.5 year old daughter and 3 months old son to pick out a new family member. When we found our frengle (Mikey) we fell in love! Those puppy eyes and playful personality made us fall in love. We finally took him home a week later. We followed the pet stores directions on feeding instructions, went for his check ups and vaccines as needed. Thursday night our Mikey became extremely lethargic, Wouldn’t eat or drink. Friday morning the whole family woke up in horror there was throw up all over the house and our poor 10 months old puppy wouldn’t move. He was just laying there. My husband rushed to the animal hospital as I was trying to comfort my 3 year old who was crying hysterically to the point of hyperventilating. Unfortunately the diagnosis was our worst nightmare. He had a raptured bladder, kidney stones and such high levels in his blood that his kidneys were collapsing there was no way of saving him no matter how much or how hard we’d try. The emergency room vet said there’s no chance of survival. Upon checking the breeders information it clearly stated that the dog was born in a puppy mill, the reviews are horrible, and it shows that they sell sick dogs. I really tried avoiding writing something bad about someone’s business or costumer service however; enough is enough and for us it’s not just a dog it’s our family. We got more sympathy from strangers at the animal hospital that only met our dog in a terrible condition then we did from the pet store owners.

Canine corral has Excellent service the staff is run by family and they make your visit Amazing. I bought a blue beagle from them and they made it so clear to contact them if I had ANY questions and of course I did and of course they were there to answer my questions. Leo (my beagle) is basically my son and there the godparents because even a month after they still call to check up and see how he’s doing the owner is a really great person and he also recommended things that honestly worked out the way he said they would but enough said if you need that best friend or son in my case come to them I promise you won’t regret it I’ll post pictures of Leo below this

I liked this place up until today. I purchased both my pug and puggle from this place and I’ve always had a good experience.I went in with my 7 year old Niece to visit some dogs to take her mind off things. She was very excited to be touching all of the puppies. We tried to play with a few so she can get an idea of what she likes. All was well until one of the owners at the front caught an attitude with us to not touch the puppy while it was eating. Which I completely understand from experience. I know puppies need to focus on eating for at least 20 min but but her tone was rude. I watched another family come in around closing time and she didn’t mention anything to them to let the dogs be. This is unfortunate because we would’ve came back to possibly purchase a puppy from here, as my previous experiences have been decent. Also don’t use the bank they use for financing.

My boyfriend and I purchased our Peagle pup from here and we are more than happy with our pet and our experience! The staff at Canine Corral were extremely kind and not overbearing. Our dog is in great health and we are so content with him. Absolutely great experience :)

We got our puppy from here who we love to pieces obviously. However, trying to go here to get food is such a difficult process. The hours are very unpredictable. Cannot trust the hours listed in Google. I have tried calling them to see when they will be open and they’ll say oh someone will be there in 30 min. We drive 30 minutes to the spot and wait another 15 minutes and no one is there to open the store. They really need to get their hours figured out. The puppy we got two years ago has been amazing and healthy though so I would recommend them for adorable puppies. Just try to get food and supplies elsewhere

Canine Corral employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. I went to Canine Corral to find a dog that would be perfect for an apartment. The woman that helped me showed me and explained to me different breeds that would be a perfect fit. I found the perfect little dog for apartment living and I am extremely happy about my decision. I also was informed that Canine Corral has been open since the 1960s and one of the first in the tristate area to help puppies find their forever homes. I would recommend Canine Corral to all my friends and family.

After 4 years of grieving the loss of our dog, my family and I finally purchased a 2 month old angel from Canine Corral and expected for the days ahead to be filled with love and joy. Unfortunately, we lived through a 3 week nightmare. They sold us a sick dog, recommended us take her to the vet clinic they directly work with and are affiliated with. They told us puppies are supposed to diarrhea, cough, gag, and sneeze frequently due to rehoming stress. S he only spent 5 days in our house, and when we took her to their recommended vet clinic, they notified us that she had kennel cough, pneumonia, and a parasite. She stayed in their care for 5 days and for those 5 days the vet clinic lied to us about her condition, failed to notify us about the severity of her pneumonia, failed to give her the oxygen and medicine she needed, and told us she was doing well. We ultimately decided to transfer her to an Animal Hospital nearby, and when we told the vet clinic that we wanted her discharged, canine corral called us 5 minutes later trying to convince us to keep her in their care. Why would a pet store call us regarding our dogs health/vet business? When they brought her out to our car she looked like a corpse. She wasnt reactive, she couldnt stand, she couldnt breathe, and she was on her last dying breath. 5 days later while in the care of the new animal hospital, she passed away due to her deeply progressed pneumonia. A week after her passing, canine corral called us again sending their condolences. How did they even know about her passing?! If it was possible, I would give canine corral 0 STARS. They sell sick dogs, refuse to take any accountability, lie and harass their customers, and all in all I would sum up my experience to be traumatizing, highly invasive, and borderline harassment. Im not sure how theyre still open or have any customers. SAVE YOURSELF A FUTURE HEARTBREAK AND DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR NEW PET FROM CANINE CORRAL

I actually got my Bichon (Buddy) 10 Years ago from Canine Corral. He is the love of my life! He is a magnificent dog, loyal, healthy & such a cutey. I dont know what I would do without him. But one thing I know for sure, my next pup will be coming from Canine Corral. The staff was so kind and helpful. The establishment was immaculate! And all these years later, I cant say thank you enough to Canine Corral for blessing me with my best friend! I still visit there from time to time to say hello and look at the new puppies. I purchased a shih tzu puppy about a week before Christmas. First thing I asked when I walked in, was I wanted a male. Looked at some cute puppies but they were females, asked to see males only.Guy with long curly hair helped us out. Brought out two shih tzu puppies. Asked again if they were males he answered yes. Fell in love with brown puppy. Puppy was like a chocolate color. I’m a first time buyer. I trusted them. I decided to purchase. Left a deposit for what I thought was a male puppy.Went back a few days later to sign some paperwork again I trusted them. Paid my balance in full, cash and didn’t read paper work because I trusted them. Lesson Learned. READ EVERYTHING! Picked up my puppy early on Christmas Day. The store even gave me a blue bow to put on “his” collar and to give “him” to the kids. I’m a first time buyer. I didn’t go looking for puppy privates, I trusted store. Anyways later that day we find out it’s not a male, it’s a female at this point my kids are in love with her and I couldn’t give her back. Called the store that same day no answer, left message, no one called back. My husband received a text from them, they were “checking up on the puppy” my husband answered them back and told them, him he thought he purchased a male not a female. They didn’t answer him back.W.E we ignored it, moved on. We’re happy with her.I recommend this place to my sister in-law. She goes in and gets my puppies sibling (male). She made sure it was a male. She picked him up on Dec 31st. Puppy comes home to her, really, really sick! They told her it was because he was vaccinated. Liars! He was vomiting and his stool seemed to have blood in it. Puppy couldn’t even stand. I mean SICK! Next day (yesterday) he’s still very sick, she called the shop and no one is there, or at least no picked up phone. No one called her back. A few hours go by and puppy Dies! Literally in less then 24 hours! Her children witnessed him die! She drives him back to the shop and someone is actually there. They open up for her and take puppy, not allowing her to say goodbye. Told her that the manager would call her back the next day, (today) it’s 10:30am and not one person has called her to apologize, to see what can be done with reimbursement. Nothing!!!!! I’m sick!!!! Should I be worried if these puppies were all sick. Read reviews on here and it seems like that. They sell sick puppies. I’m scared for my puppy, for my kids. What a nightmare!

This is the fourth puppy that I have purchased from Ira.Canine Corral has addressed all of my concerns and is caring about the health and welfare of the fur babies. When there was a health issue with my second puppy, Ira took care of the issue and she recently passed at 151/2 years after leading a very healthy life. The temperament of the dogs has always been a top priority. My newest angel is a snoodle! Beauty and brains!!!

Bought my dog great healthy dog. We love him. Im asthmatic so I asked staff if someone can come get him outside so I dont have to go in. They said no come another day. I said no in going. Didnt even see my dog try to bite her. So I cant argue l. But refused to cut his nails and told me go get a funnel and then cut it there. So we paid so much for this dog. And it comes with all thus extras but get denied. Service from 3yrs ago was so much better.

My family bought our German Shepherd at the Canine Corral and they could not have been nicer and more helpful. From the minute we walked into the shop we were treated as if we were the only people who mattered and the pairing process with our Nala began. The staff was incredibly understanding and answered all of our questions without hesitation. I can honestly tell you the service did not stop there. Once we brought our girl home we began a process that included many calls to the Corral and never once did we feel put off. Our Nala was extremely healthy and well cared for and Ira the proprietor often checked in to make sure things were going well. His recommendation of Dr Miller as a vet and the normal follow-up for shots and checkups has been incredibly easy to manage. Ira even recommended to us a trainer (Donna) she was extremely affordable and amazingly with a week of training we were all set. I have recommended many people (family and friends) to Canine Corral and each of them have had a similar experience

I called Canine Corral for the past two weeks because I wanted to change my address on my dogs micro chip, they gave me the run around .They were so rude to me ..In conclusion, they gave me the run around because they never registered my dogs micro chip. Approximately 3 years I thought my dogs micro chip was registered. I had the worst experience ever with this pet shop and would never by another puppy there I bought a Pomeranian for my sons birthday and he ended up hospitalized after 4 days and then passed away. And I would also never use the vet they recommend they get there dogs from puppy mills for dirt cheap and sell them at ridiculous prices. Your better of buying from a reputable breeder. I hope this place closes down. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I adopted a 3.5 month old beagle puppy from Canine Corral back in 1996. A purebred, she came with papers and everything. Never really had any health issues with her - just little things that I learned were very common with the breed. We had 15 wonderful, happy years with her until we lost her in July 2011 to kidney failure. Even though it was a number of years ago, I remember their staff being very friendly and helpful. They had a deal set up back then with West Hills Animal Hospital, whose services we used faithfully for all of our dogs life, and are using now with my new dog. Contrary to what a previous reviewer said, I am NOT the owner or anyone associated with them, writing a positive testimonial to make me look good. Im just a dog owner/lover who happened to have a positive experience with this place.

My mom & I are looking into purchasing dogs. Was told that Canine Corral had a Coton yesterday. Called today after no one got back to us. The woman I spoken to in answering service was rude! She rushed me off the phone saying that they sold 4 puppies so what did I want her to do about it. I would never purchase from here. Buyer beware!

Honestly at first I was delighted. But its been 2 years know and I have learned alot. Kennel cough dog gets it easy after all his shots. He got it immediately after bringing him home and it was a 2 month battle. Breed not what they said he was. Dont get me wrong we love our pup but I definitely had to bring him to a different vet than who they use for help and he definitely isnt the breed they said.

I absolutely LOVE Canine Corral and will more than likely be coming back here for my future dogs. Let me start off by saying that I do not qualify for adoption as I do not have a fenced in back yard. So when I was researching puppy stores, all of the places near me (I am in central NJ) have HORRIBLE reviews and histories. I was extremely hesitant to get a puppy for any of them as I did not want a sick puppy. Well I ended up finding Canine Corral and looked at their website and saw all that they had to offer and decided this was where I would get my puppy. The week prior to making my way all the way to long island I checked their website every day and called every day! All of their sales associates (Brittany was whom I talked to the most and she was awesome) were very good to me and answered all my questions. When I finally went to the store I laid my eyes on the most beautiful little half havanese half pomeranian (havapom) and it was love at first sight! Well then I sat with Allen the trainer for almost 3 hours as he explained everything I needed to do to have a happy and healthy puppy. He was not wrong about a single thing and I am glad I took the time to sit and talk with him. Also, the puppy has a health guarantee if you take them to the vet within 14 days, and Canine Corral offers a free vet visit with their personal vet; but they understood that coming from central NJ, it would not be easy for me to come back. So they called their vet and said that they would make room for me to come right on over and get her checked out that day, even though they were visibly busy when I got there! We were seen right away and she had a clean bill of health (and has ever since).I really have to say that everyone at Canine Corral has been great to deal with. I have not one complaint about them, and I will be returning to give my Luna friend. Canine Corral is a family and I am glad to be a part of it.

I currently have 2 wonderful dogs from here that are the light of my life. My dogs have always been happy healthy and completely spoiled! I visit the puppies at Canine Corral when I’m having a bad day just to make it better. The staff is inviting and always knowledgeable and helpful. Canine Corral is my go to place for all the supplies I need for my pampered pups. These are the best!

I dont like puppy stores - their puppies are from dog breeding mills. However, those dogs need homes too. I suppose if you want a sort of pure purebred dog ( they wont be perfect), its a good place to go to save a ton of $ off the price of a puppy from a real breeder. They try, after youve committed to buying, to upsell you on all sorts of dog items- crates, food, leases, etc. It can add up.I would give this store 3 stars, but I am giving it a 4th, since I did buy 2 dogs from them, and they did turn out to be wonderful dogs, with no health issues.

I had a Shih Tzu from them and latest a very long time. So I went back and purchased another. There are a lot of places out there so you have to find a place where the dogs are healthy. We adopted a beautiful Shi -Poo puppy from Canine Corral about a month ago and I have to say it was the best experience ever! We shopped around and were not happy with the customer service anywhere else, which caused us to leave every place with 2 disappointed teenage daughters. Then we walked into Canine Corral and everyone was helpful and knowledgeable about all of the puppies they had. We were allowed to walk around and look without feeling pressured and when we asked to hold a puppy she was promptly placed in our arms with a smile. They offered so many different puppies for sale we almost couldn’t decide. Till we saw our Ginger and everyone s heart melted. Britany was especially helpful and knew all about our pup even her personality. And she was house broken right away with the training methods they taught us. We left with many free goodies for ginger ...collar ,leash, 2 free toys food for several weeks. Plus discounted doggie bed and crate. All for half the price of other puppie stores!! We couldn’t be happier and luv our beautiful Ginger. Also I have to say the owner Ira , is very nice and extremely helpful. They have called every week to make sure our pup is doing well. We are bringing her to the store for our FREE nail clipping and ear cleaning and grooming next week... couldn’t be happier!!!

This is nothing but a puppy store playing on peoples heart strings with adorable puppies. I know many who have gotten sick dogs in the long run. Their puppies must be from puppy mills and inexperienced breeders. Good luck getting a healthy long term puppy here. There are so many diseases that can show up later costing you an arm and a leg and your dog may not survive.

The staff was wonderful, gave me so much for my new puppy including a loan on a cage. I would highly recommend canine corral to anyone whose looking to buy a puppy. I was blessed on Mothers Day as my son, took me here to pick out a puppy for me. We were greeted by Meagan as we looked around at their plentiful selection. Then we were escorted to a private area to spend time with a possible new edition to our family. Megan explained their possible finance options that they offer. The place was clean, without any foul odor. All puppies were happy, in clean areas, seemed content if they sleeping or playing with their current roomate. After we were approved for financing our new edition was sent for a bath & grooming. We then spent time with Erin, who then explained some guidelines to help us all get comfortable with each other & ease our new 10 week old baby, a male, Toy, Shorkie into our lives! The helpful information they provided was interesting since it has been years since I trained a puppy. They were knowledgeable, professional yet caring.They provided us with dry & wet food, vitamins, wee-wee pads, toys, lease & collar we picked out! Our baby was already micro chipped. A tage with our information will be mailed to us as well. We were also advised, a veterinarian near them provides the remaining vaccinations & any services discounted if we choose to use them. The experience my son & I had visiting Canine Corral couldnt have been more perfect. From the moment we entered, viewing the puppies for adoption, then our private room, then paperwork & financing to all the items they included for us! Meagan & Erin gave us an amazing, professional, experience adoptioning from them. I will absolutely be recommending them to all that ask us after seeing our adorable new edition as well as all our family & friends!

I have had my dog for 10 years now and he’s is the most perfect gift to my family’s life I could have asked for. Every time I have been to the store to get treats or even just check out some puppies I am greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile. I am astounded by the constant cleanliness. I just want to share the most amazing experience I had purchasing my pommeraian. This company went far and beyond makeing sure my pup was cared for. they gave me training ideas and how to take care of the pup the toys coller leash first vet visit was all free I would recommend this company to anyone expecially after I got scammed and could trust noone.

Over the past 26 years I have owned 7 dogs...currently 2 Maltese and a Shiffon ( Shih Tzu / Brussels Griffon ). They have been my pride and joy. 4 of them have crossed that rainbow bridge, 2 at the age of 16 and 2 at 14. All of them came from Canine Corral in Huntington and I would recommend that place to anyone who is looking for a puppy. The store is very clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the puppies are very well cared for.

Went in Canine Corral to look for a maltipoo. Didn’t have one available but Brittany showed me toy poodles and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Her dad, the trainer was also very kind. The store was clean and the puppies all looked healthy. I intend to go back

They have 2 locations. Huntington, NY and in the Massapequa Mall off of Sunrise Hywy. When I phoned I got the owner on the phone. He told me to go to the Huntinton location as they had the breed I was looking for. I did go and indeed they did have 4 dogs of the breed I was looking for. However, the owner personally told me hed be getting another little the flowing week and hed call me so I could be the first to see them. Have you heard from them? No follow through. Im very disappointed as the owner was seeming personable. Youve heard the saying that things work out for the better, well in this case it did. I found my puppy from a reputable breeder and not in a dark, tired looking Huntington, NY puppy store.I add that the puppies seemed well cared for, in clean but chewed up, built in corrales.As a business woman, I respect follow through no matter what the out come is, whether he got the litter or not a phone call was the tight way to go.

This place is the worst place for getting a puppy that I can possibly think of. They are selling sick puppies and are only pretending to care when they die to try to jump at the opportunity to sell more puppies to you. The happy, healthy puppies are just a facade and those puppies are not really happy and health. Overall I hate this place and I wouldnt have to deal with the stress of little Artie in the hospital if they just sold actual healthy puppies. 1 star

Got my Boston terrier here, staff was super happy to help me find my best friend and boy what a perfect match it was. Still go there to get him supplies and bones and Flossie’s to spoil him. Will be continuing to shop here and recommend it for people looking to add a furry friend to their family.

Went here with my son on Mothers Day 2018! He purchased me a 10 week old Shorkie! He will now be 2 on February 21st, 2020! He is just about 10 lbs, super smart & healthy. The staff here was so helpful, professional & clean! All the pups were happy, their pens or area were clean, not smelly, soiled or dirty at all! The pups are not in cages! We pet, held & got to see their personalities up close & personal. The very last little guy we saw was just pure love & he remains the same today! He weighed 3.6lbs at 10 weeks old. I have recommended Canine Corral to all my friends & family! A wonderful place!

My boyfriend and I were searching for a havanese or a havanese mix for months and we finally found Fletch. I was a bit hesitant due to some of the negative reviews and our own past negative experiences with other places but I’m so happy we give canine corral a chance. We were able to FaceTime fletch and see him in action prior to putting down a deposit. They also did a telephone trainings/tips and checked in with us a few times the first week. Fletch had his first vet appointment and was given a clean bill of health. He adjusted very well and didn’t have any g.i bugs, ear mites, kennel cough or other issues that are common with pet store dogs. He really is our little sweetheart. Thank you canine corral for our new family member !

Canine Corral just makes me happy. I love to go there and play with the puppies!! I cant help myself from falling in love with one every once in a while and taking it home to become part of my family. It sure does say a lot that they have been in business over 40 years. I remember going there when I was a little girl.

Adorable puppies but they are so expensive! Almost $2000 for a dog? Insane. Mixed breeds are not purebreeds. Dogs dont even look healthy. They have coughs and dark wetness under the eyes. Even the big dogs are expensive. Who knows where they are coming from. Drop the prices and sell these puppies to loving homes. Not all loving homes can spend $2000 on a dog. Even $500-$1000 is a lot but would be better.

Before you purchase a dog here… ask yourself this.. “where do all these different breed puppies come from?” If you aren’t sure, the answer is PUPPY MILL. Sure, you may get lucky and get a dog with no health issues.. but save yourself the risk AND MONEY (stores like these get puppy mill dogs for only hundreds of dollars but upsale to YOU in the $1000s) and just buy from a REPUTABLE BREEDER where you can see the puppies parents, see their parents health and how they’re taken care of, etc. supporting this business is a travesty, please do your intensive research before buying any dog from a store.

Bought a German Sheppard from them and couldnt be happier! Unfortunately my dog caught kennel cough but their health guarantee covered the cost at the vet and i paid almost nothing! THAT coverage and the time they took to explain EVERYTHING (2 hours+) is the reason why i will only buy animals exclusively from them!I honestly thought i was going to buy her and be rushed out but nope! Told me everything i should do and their trainer gave me their personal number incase i had any questions at anytime! What store does that!?The pens were clean, the dogs were happy, EVERYONE was friendly! This place deserves 10 stars!On a side note DONT use their finance service (THIS IS NOT CANINE CORRAL JUST A COMPANY THAT IS AVAILABLE TO USE THROUGH THEM TO FINANCE!). The fees and %s are nuts! My dog was $1295 about $1400 with tax, i used the finance service to boost my credit and after figuring everything out the final total was INSANE! Even after $113 for 2 months my payoff was still $1486! Totaling $1712! That number would have been significantly higher if i rode it out, there is also a Final Fee I dont remember the total but in the contract AFTER you pay it off you will have a final fee of $200+!

Honestly the best caring place to get an puppy for your family. I am in love with my Shih Poo and couldn’t be more happier. Even have training and advice to provide to family. Courtesy calls to see how the puppy doing . I mean what more can you ask for . Amazing

Bought a wheaten terrier from here in 2001. She was very healthy and lived 15 years.However I think ownership has changed hands several times since then.The place does smell. Walked around and the dogs are mushy and sick. Saw one of the employees walking around with a box of Cheerios feeding the dogs. Sad.

DO NOT TAKE THESE REVIEWS LIGHTHEARTEDLY. I came here and I bought a Morkie, and I am allergic to dogs and they told me this Morkie is hypoallergenic. These people let me bring the dog home for one night and if I was allergic they would let me BRING IT BACK. So I thought oh thats good this place is awesome. Dog is the best thing in the world. Next day, my parents see hundreds of reviews from people who have claimed that their dog that they got from Canine Corral had diseases such as Lukemia and even some have died. So I thought, Oh its ok, this place is fine. My parents think something is wrong, so they call a certified breeder, and my parents told the breeder everything, and he flipped the f*** out. He said return the Morkie I brought home right away, and that they inbred puppies, they dont take care, and they basically do the absolute worst things. Now I am writing this review because I do not want anyone, and I mean ANYONE, to go through their pet having diseases and almost dying. Me and my sister were absolutely devastated, and we returned it the next day. Please, do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY PUPPIES FROM CANINE CORRAL. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE EVIL.IMPORTANT NOTE: When I went in to return it, I told them the whole story, and they literally said these exact words:Yeah you can just put it back thereNo questions as if how did it go, what happened, NOTHING.

I bought a shih tzu from theses guys. Took him to MY vet before I brought him home . I thought he was just docile, sweet and cuddly. Turned out that he had double pneumonia and my vet warned me that he may die. I had to nebulize him 3 times a day for 20 mins. For 3 weeks. He did survive

Best dogs around, people come from all over just to purchase a dog from here. Ive purchased 3 dogs from here and never had a issue with any of them. They have big selections and they actually let you interact with the dogs. Theyre not behind a glass case. Great staff and place, you wont be dissappinted if you purchase from here.

Terrible experience. The staff was rude when i first walked in the puppies seemed to be energetic then one of the employees came around and started spraying something around that hurt my nose and even gave me a beadache, i could only imagine how those puppies feel , they started to calm down alot after he sprayed that stuff. Also they have a husky that is cleary sick he would not move from the corner of the cage and when he moved from the corner he couldnt even sit up straight and went right back to the corner. Unbelievable this place needs to be shut down and those puppies need to be taken care of properly. I drove all the way from nesconset even though i was skeptical of the bad reviews to find out their all right. Dont shop here

If i could give no star i would. Shop gave me the run around for 3 weeks after i put a deposit on the dog. Had to go there multiple times to find out i still couldnt take it home. You can consider any dog from here a rescue because the place is a dump. Ive heard of and seen sick dogs there. Thankfully got my deposit back after having words with the 2 girls that work there. They dont care for the dogs or trying to find them homes. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Ok i’m sorry but i feel like they charge way too much for a place run in such a horrible fashion. i was there nearly 2 hours and a girl finally came and asked me for help then i left and came back again because they told me i could put down a deposit for the dog but then there was a whole fiasco for why i couldn’t put the deposit but why have a sign that says $25 down and $50 a month if not everyone can abide by that? And there was only one person that was nice to me. and i feel like you shouldn’t have to pay for a dog period we don’t pay for humans so why do we have to pay for animals i think all animals should be up for adoption. Someone needs to shut this business down ASAP.

Great Staff & Service. Brought one of my Basset Hounds to Animal Hospital. They did a great job removing a tumor. The only place Ill bring my dogs.

The puppies are all sick and mistreated. These places and pet shops all over need to be shut down. After you pay for the puppy, they will put you through a hassle in order to get your money back for the sick puppy they sold you. There is no type of apology or explanation for their wrong doing. GO TO A BREEDER or ADOPT TRUST ME!!!

I m concerned by the number of people saying they bought sick puppies from you all. Sick puppies are sometimes indicative of puppies mills. Interbreeding causes long long term medical issues.

I used to love this store until recently that me & my family purchased a baby German Shepard & he came really depressed to our house the first day then a couple days later we starting realizing he was getting worse not eating or anything so we took him to the doctor and he ended up having a really bad cold & I ran into a women who had bought her puppy from the same place & she was really upset that her puppy was diagnosed with a mortal sickness & one of my friends also bought her German Shepard from this place & they say that their dog was really sick when they first got him & they wasted a lot of money on all of the medications they did for him but from my perspective I just think they sell all of their puppy’s sick & that’s not right at all

My wife and I are first time puppy owners so we were nervous about the whole experience. We went to several places and found Canine Corral to be the perfect spot to find our newest member of the family. The staff since the beginning were extremely friendly, helpful and resourceful. The selection of dogs was great and they gave us enough time to play with them. Their prices are pretty good compared to similar dogs at different pet stores. The transaction was very smooth and we even received a call with instructions on what to do and not do with our new puppy. Even while having the puppy at home they would text us to make sure everything was going smooth. The experience was the best we’ve had and recommend Canine Corral to anybody who is looking to buy a dog. We are even more happy to have a bundle of joy who we called Caramelo (Melo for short).

FIRST OF ALL I NOTICE THAT THESE BUSINESS TOOK DOWN MY LAST REVIEW. I WONDER WHY. Because this store is the worst I have ever seen experienced. Purchased my Shih tzu there in 2015. Was a 1st time dog owner as an adult and they played me big time. Didnt notice too many things other than there was no food or water for the dogs. Now I see they feed them cheerios. There is not enough nourishment in there. I wanted to take them all out of there. After purchasing him I was advised that my warranty was only good if I saw their vet West Hills Veterinary which is bull because I live 5 towns away. They must have a contract to give them business. I never received his papers and he was sick with hookworms which I was told by his vet that he didnt have them. I brought him to my vet and had lab papers proving that he did.It cost me a fortune to get him well again. They wouldnt give me any money back to reimburse the cost of treatment. After 1 week I found out that he had several medical issues. He has crystals in his urine so hes on prescription food and also has patellar and arthritis which is preventing him from having a normal puppy life. As he gets older it will get harder for him to jump and walk. I went back to talk to Ira and he told me he couldnt refund me because he didnt have the key. He sigged the Manager after me and she was worse than him. She said she would sue me for defamation of character. I contacting the attorney general and Animal Agriculture and they said to send a letter. Unfortunately, they could not shut them down based on this info. They did investigate them and are watching them carefully. Yeah right.I spent so much time trying to fight these people but finally couldnt do it anymore due to health problems.I since have rescued another shih tzu 1 years old and the only health issue she has is shes missing an eye, but is the best dog and I paid a small adoption fee. You dont always get what you pay for.Please go with a reputable breeder if you want a puppy. If not its better to adopt and not shop. There are so many animals that really need homes. Its sad when I hear about overbreeding. If they dont get adopted and shelters fill up, they are euthanized its not fair to them. One day this place will get shut down, but until then I will 🙏🙏for the 🐕🐕

Canine Corral is a phenomenal place where we got our first family puppy. He is happy, healthy and beautiful! They guided us through every step of having a new puppy, checked on us daily, and the support helped us through the first few months. On the first day, we got a training on how to care for our new puppy which helped tremendously! We got all of the supplies we needed from them which made the process go very smoothly! We go back often to visit because of the kindness and support we always get from them. Their doors are always open to us.
