My Charlie girl loves going to “school” to see her puppy friends!!! Charlie is a dachshund pup so she requires certain care and attention with jumping or steps and she is always given that special treatment!!! The staff is super sweet and is always so welcoming of our family!!! They always have engaging and fun activities for all pups all sizes and breeds. We love camp bow wow in Lindenhurst!!!!!
My dog loved it here! Boarded for a 4 night stay. I added a few enrichments and thought they were cute. One was meet the grinch! Very attentive staff and very nice and welcoming owner.
Our fur baby loves going to camp and we love sending him there! The staff are all gems, the facilities are spotless, they offer a wide variety of services and are always coming up with new and engaging ways of keeping the campers happy. Best part of course is that our pup comes home and lays around like a sack of potatoes! No late night zoomies!
As a teacher and first time dog mom, I was so worried about how I would make sure my new puppy, Willow, would be taken care of when school started back up in September. After touring Camp Bow Wow in Lindenhurst, I knew I found a place that my dog would enjoy and be well taken care of. What I didn’t know was how much my dog would be loved. From our first day, we were greeted with the biggest smiles, comforting personalities, and friendliest faces you could ask for.It gives me such peace of mind seeing Willow so excited to see the counselors each time we walk through the doors. Each time I drop her off in the morning, we are both greeted with the biggest smiles and best energy, making me feel so comfortable leaving her there for the day. The counselors know each of the dog’s personalities so well and I love when they tell me one of her “friends” is going to be there that day to play. On top of an outstanding staff and atmosphere, they offer such an abundance of enrichment activities for the dogs and take pictures so you can see how much your pup is enjoying the day. I cannot say enough good things about Camp Bow Wow in Lindenhurst and continue to brag about this place to anyone who has a dog.
Camp Bow Wow in Lindenhurst is awesome. My puppy, Sophie, practically rips my arm off trying to get inside on day care days. The staff is so friendly and upbeat. I love the live cams. The price cant be beat for peace of mind! 5 stars all the way!
My pup and I absolutely love Camp Bow Wow. My puppy was about 8 months old when we signed her up and veryyyyy nervous about the other dogs. The employees there were kind enough to let us ease our way into this by doing multiple quick introductions to a bunch of different dogs over a span of a few weeks. They were so patient with us and finally were able to fully integrate her into the group! She was still so nervous the first day, but I knew they were keeping a close watch on her which was so appreciated; they even sent me a victory video when she started to play with another dog. Ever since then, she has been absolutely obsessed with the other dogs and doesn’t stop playing the whole day. She comes home happy and exhausted. I also really appreciate their services for boarding since the dogs can all play together during the day so I know she is still getting enough play time, even when we aren’t in town. Everyone still praises Hazel and how far she’s come every time we pick her up and it’s really just been such an enjoyable experience for us. I am excited to bring my pup here for years to come.
My two dogs Seamus & Charlie go crazy every time I drive up to the Camp Bow Wow. They come home so tired and exhausted. The next day they are couch potatoes. They staff are so friendly and very accommodating to my babies.
My dog stayed there for 2 night. So happy that I could see her in video. The fact that she didn’t want to leave made me feel so happy that she had so much fun. Looking forward to day events and if I need boarding again, she will be taken care of.
Thank you for caring for my Bella today. It was her first time at Camp Bow-Wow and the staff was absolutely kind and made Bella feel comfortable. Definitely will give 4 stars ⭐️ and will highly recommend Camp Bow-Wow

The staff is so friendly and they really take the time to get to know your dog. Weve used their grooming services too and love it. I know my dog is in very good hands while shes there. Thank you Camp Bow Wow!!
My dog (yorkie) has been going to Camp Bow Wow since the first day they opened and he loves it and I love it and the staff as well. My dog is 10 years old have never interacted with other dogs or anyone beside me and my family so I was nervous about him going to a camp with other dogs. The staff have been very aware of every dog and take great care of each one. My dog has stayed overnight while I went away and I was a mess leaving him, but to know that I was able to call and check on him made me relax and enjoy my vacation. They provide daily events for the dogs and take great pride and love in our fur babies. I highly recommend this camp and its staff.
Our dog Wally cant wait to go to camp! As soon as we say its camp day he goes wild and runs to the door. Thank you for making Wallys days so much fun!
Truly the best thing that happened for our boy! Each time we ask our dog if he wants to go to camp he sits by the door until it is time to go, and once we get there he practically jumps out of the car.We love that when we walk in the door we are always greeted with a smile, and cute stories about silly things that our dog does.Since day one we have been so incredibly happy with the communication between the staff and us. If anything was to happen we feel so confident that it would be handled professionally and we know that they always have our dogs best interest at heart! All and all we are so lucky to have the staff at Camp Bow Wow and we love how much our boy loves camp! ❤️
Our puppy thoroughly enjoys his days at Camp bow wow ! I watch the live feed often throughout the day to check in and I like seeing the variety of staff there playing interactively with him. They are also constantly cleaning which I like to see as well. Their app makes setting up a reservation for him super easy. We are very happy with the new Lindenhurst location. 😀
Our babies (Koko and Bella) had a wonderful stay! We are grateful to have a place for them to vacation while we are away. Knowing they are well cared for allows us to enjoy our time apart.
Great staff and facilities. Our pup loves everyone there and playing with her friends. The different activities they offer are great and keep it interesting.

During my vacation I checked in via the video feed. Brodie played with other dogs and support staff. The staff at Camp bow wow love dogs and create a very supportive environment!
Let me start off by saying I HATE that I have to write this review, however I feel like I have a responsibility as not only a pet owner myself but as a pet professional as I am a dog groomer and I don’t wish the experience I had on any one of my clients. That said let’s get into it.April 30th: I see Camp Bow Wows virtual flyer for their grand opening.May 18th: Grand Opening day, I head over towards the end to see what this place is about and get some information. I met the lovely vendors, the staff, and checked out the facilities. They had me tour the back with the play areas and suites and explained everything they had to offer and everything sounded great. I had interest in boarding and the idea of having 24/7 camera access sounded amazing! So I set up an interview.May 28th: I stupidly arrived an hour earlier than my scheduled interview but they were willing to accommodate me in that moment when I would have gladly waited. But they said they could do the process at that time. The interview begins with them taking my dog into the play area alone to acclimate to the play room. Then they put her on a leash and bring another dog (I believe named Mia) on leash that is WAY too excited and hyper focused on my dog and here’s where I knew it could go very wrong. (And it almost did)They walk both dogs at a distance in a circle. Until they are close enough to sniff each other briefly. Then they “restrain” each dog to allow the other to sniff their rears. Mind you the dog they used for the interview was young, excited, not under any reliable control, continually fixed barking and at least 10lbs heavier if not more than my dog.The next step (here’s where it all goes wrong) is the off leash introductions. They let go of each dogs leash on opposite sides of the play room and Mia immediately takes off towards my dog, jumps over the agility set in the middle and almost attacks my dog. Thankfully my dog just bunkered down and made herself less threatening as I’ve trained her to do and they were pulled apart. They repeat this with a male dog and my dog is visibly uncomfortable but she makes it through the process even with all the dogs now in the play room, without further incident. So the evaluator comes out and says: “your dog has passed the first part of the interview so the next steps are XYZ over the next 3 hours…”Firstly, as a pet professional honest communication is everything. The fact they didn’t even acknowledge what almost happened was a MAJOR RED FLAG.Secondly, when I said I’m going to have to pull her. The response was: “Right now?!” And “we won’t be able to count this as a successful interview”Frankly, I don’t care. I care more for the health and safety of my pets mental and physical wellbeing.**I made sure to do a physical check up on my dog before leaving just to ensure she was okay**Today is 06/03 and what I had happen to me today was the driving factor as to why I’m writing this review. As I mentioned I’m a dog groomer, and this cute little rescue puppy came in for her first groom with a coworker. So, while we ask our intake questions mom mentions to my coworker that she was bitten at a dog boarding facility, during her interview… overhearing this I had to ask where. Sure enough, she says Camp Bow Wow.I am heartbroken to say she left her puppy for the full 3 hour interview, the dog was bit/ hurt decently bad, but it wasn’t brought up/ addressed at pick up so the pup went home. Then they couldn’t give her answers when she reached back out to them when she noticed the bite at home. She was grateful that I shared my experience and I listened to hers because our interaction validated her feelings. As I felt upset, as well. Conclusion: While the facility looks amazing, has many appeals on paper, and the staff seem friendly. I believe taking your pet here is a major risk for injury and I don’t recommend anyone taking their dog here.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my dog here to have her let out her energy due to how high it is because of her breed. One day, I picked her up from this camp, and they have her to me with smiles not mentioning anything being wrong with my girl. We get home, and she was non-stop licking her foot. After looking I come to found the deepest cut on her toe. Going all the way down to the root. It was previously cleaned because she wouldve OBVIOUSLY been bleeding. No one said anything to me when giving her back. After taking her to the vet stitches were recommended. After paying hospital bills, it was requested for me to see the camera footage of that day. The camp denied that due to their policy that we sign when signing up (EVEN THOUGH MY DOG WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED!!!). To this day they still deny access for me to find out what happened to my sweet girl. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO NOT GIVE YOU ANSWERS ABOUT ANY INJURIES. NO MATTER HOW BAD. Extremely disappointing. Shame on them for branding as dog lovers and not giving a single care in the world about my sweet girl.
I made the mistake of trusting and signing up my dog to socialize with other dogs at this place, Camp Bow Wow in Lindenhurst. The last day I took her in was at the end of April, she was perfectly healthy and intact. I picked her up in the late afternoon, they gave me her back with a smile and said it was a perfect day!I noticed blood on my couch andI saw there was a big cut on her paw, but she wouldnt even let me see it because of the pain. I called them and told what happened and all i wanted was answers. They told me they haven’t found absolutely nothing on the cameras. I had to take my dog to the vet and the doctor said the cut was very deep and that it was done either with a very sharp razor or glass.Camp Bow Wow informed that THERE IS NO INSURANCE FOR ANY DOG AND THAT I COULD NOT WATCH THE CAMERAS unless COURT ORDER. In order for you to sign your dog in you are SIGNING their contract, which includes ZERO RESPONSIBILITY ON THEIR PART - SO , EVERYTHING - yes, EVERYTHING that happens inside with your dog they are already excluding themselves from any liability, or responsibility.I am actually incurring legal expenses, having to hire an attorney so through a process i am requesting a subpoena to watch the video footage from that day because i believe that if they haven’t seen anything wrong why they werent cordial and showed it to me themselves the video? Well, as the veterinarian explained to me, she bled a lot when it happened and she certainly showed pain and a lot of blood.. Dont take your dogs to this place unless you want to spend money on lawyers and veterinarians or risk their well-being without any rights.Really ??? So you guys just answer me this question:WHY I CAN’t SEE THE CAMERAS???IF YOU GUYS HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, WHY YOU DENIED ME TO SEE THE CAMERAS FOR THAT DAY???
Our dog always enjoys his day at Camp Bow Wow. We definitely recommend it.
Amazing always caring and showing love to our little ones.Thank you..Toby
