So beyond elated that I found WildHair! I needed a groomer that would take my reactive little shih tzu mix one at a time. WildHair will give you either the first appointment or last appointment if you need a calm environment for a very reasonable fee. Tina and Amanda were so friendly and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable about leaving my little love in their care. They listened to any requests I had and were so accommodating. My pup came out looking absolutely fabulous with the cutest little bandana. I can’t recommend them enough, what a lovely place with lovely staff. Thank you ladies! See you soon!

Was my first time having my 15 yr old Yorkie Violet groomed at Wild Hair. I called last minute since she is having surgery on 2/15. I called on Saturday and she made appt on Sunday usually not open. Tina and Jessica were so caring and accommodating and absolutely amazing…And since it was Violets first groom Tina asked all right questions , Violet age and comfort was her first priority ! Salon was spotless and so warm and inviting.. Tina did a beautiful job ! Tina you definitely have a new customer.. Thank You..

I had a great experience with WildHair today. My huskies were long overdue. Tina and her staff were very accommodating and communicated well for an after hours pick up. I’m very pleased with their service, so much that I already booked my next appointment with them in 8 weeks.

We have been huge fans of Tinas grooming long before she opened this conveniently-located shop on Montauk Hwy. We now have a mini Australian Shepherd who needs grooming fairly often since shes what we call a diggy dog and gets caked with mud whenever she can. Its clear that she and her staff genuinely LOVE dogs and love what what they do. Our last dog was a Shetland Sheepdog and she also trimmed him to look as his breed should. We love that she doesnt keep our dog for longer than she needs to whereas other groomers have you drop off and leave your dog for over 3 hours (in a crate, shaking and scared) further stressing out your pet who probably is not a fan of grooming in the first place. Her prices are competitive and parking is available. Cant go wrong with WildHair!

We had such an amazing experience! Brought in our 6 month old puppy and he was done in an hour and a half with their puppy deal. We absolutely adore his cut and he feels so soft! Will be coming back!!

Was looking for a new place for my little girl to get groomed and finally found a place that I feel will be going for a while. I believe they are family owned and I can tell they love working with pets. I would definitely recommend them, they are great.

I recently brought our dog here for the first time. The grooming itself seemed adequate enough. However, the owners comical, confrontational, and childish attitude ruined anything good about this place. When I dropped off our dog I was told I would be called to pick up him up when he was ready. I was not called until 15 minutes after closing and then I was told for the first time that I would need to pay a $25 late pick up fee. When I arrived to the store I told the owner that I was never called earlier and in response the owner insisted they tried calling multiple times but my phone just went to voicemail. However, even if this were true, no one from the store left me a voicemail. When I showed the owner my cell phone proving I was not called until after closing time she just pointed to a sign in the store stating there is a $25 late fee for any late pick up. When I tried to explain the misunderstanding the owner just dug in and insisted that I was called multiple times, aging note true, and kept blaming me, a first time customer, for not knowing I had to pick up my dog up by their closing time when multiple people in the store told me when I dropped my dog off that I would be called when he was ready and it was time to pick him up. I was annoyed by all of this, but in end I just paid the late fee, even after the owner threatened to call the police and hold my dog hostage if I did not agree to pay it, as life is to short to deal with nonsense like this. Yes due to a misunderstanding I picked up my dog after closing, but telling a customer that they feel bad that your dog has to go home with you is deal breaker for me. If you expect to be treated with any semblance of respect as a customer I would stay away from this place at all costs.

I had been driving my almost 16 1/2 year old Pekingese, Sadie, about 20 minutes from my home just to get her nails clipped. The car ride was progressively getting more difficult for her. I wasnt able to find a local place that would let me be present & hold my deaf, visually impaired senior girl - until I walked into this adorable, very clean shop. The women were so warm, welcoming & understanding. Without hesitation, I was invited into the back where Sadies nails were clipped, surrounded by people who obviously really love dogs. Tina even cut some mats out that she found behind Sadies ears. I am extremely grateful & will certainly be going back! Thank you 🙏

Went for the first time today and it was a pleasant experience. Zeus and Apollo are fresh and clean. Of course Apollo had a furnado over there and the girl that did him is still wearing him lol.

We had our rescue groomed last week. He is an anxious mini goldendoodle named Bentley. He did so well. I can see that they were very patient with him by his demeanor. The cut looks adorable and was exactly what I had asked for. I would highly recommend!

I brought my dog for the first time today to be groomed here, and I was very happy with the results! Tina was very nice and helpful, and Amanda and Lexi did a great job on my pup’s bath and nails. Especially since she sheds a TON, they did a great job brushing out her undercoat. Their prices are very reasonable for a quality and thorough job. They were all very welcoming and sweet with my dog. Very happy I found this place, and I will definitely be coming here from now on for all my dog’s grooming needs!

If you want to get your dog back with a bunch of gaping holes in its coat and nothing but bad excuses about why they got there this is the place for you

I am so blown away with the professionalism and kindness! Tina was so awesome from the time I called. She made it a point to take my 16 year old dog when there weren’t a lot of dogs there so that she was more comfortable and didn’t get too nervous. My dog is usually shaking when I pick her up from other places but when I picked her up from WildHair she was happy and calm! Her haircut didn’t take long and it looks amazing, she is so clean and pearly white ! I am so glad that I found a place that I can feel comfortable leaving my dog!

I have two dogs and initially only brought one of them to get groomed. My other dog had bad legs so i was concerned about bringing her. After seeing how well they took care of my 1st I was confident in bringing my other who had issues. They loved up my 2nd and took such good care of her. When my second passed away i cant even begin to express how good to me they were. They are so sincere and compassionate about what they do. I would highly recommend them If you want a groomer who loves your dogs as much as you do.

I have my 3 dogs groomed regularly at Wild Hair. Tina is excellent with my pets. They always look marvelous :-)). She was so helpful when one had hurt her paw and was so gentle. Amazingly, she rectified it and saved me a vet visit.In addition, she is a wonderful person. Last year, my keys were left on top of my car when I left a nearby business. I turned onto S. 7th St near her business to head home. Apparently, thats where my keys fell off. A pedestrian found them and brought them into her business. She took the time to call Stop n Shop - which couldnt trace the tab on my keys and then the local library. She gave them my card # and they called to advise me to get my keys. That was pure human kindness. TINA ROCKS!!

My experience must of been much different then reviews posted, I contacted them and asked for price for my 4 month old puppy . Was given a price range,was told xx amount highest,was given a immediate appointment next day. Wanted to support local owners and not bigger chains. More attention and care given etc. Left puppy explained as a new puppy we had him little over a week ,let us know when almost done ,please do not put him in cage he gets upset etc. Was told no problem we dont etc. Get call he is ready, we arrive and hes in cage ,wasnt thrilled about that, then told price was nearly double highest amount was told, no explanation or nothing, thought would be more personal touch etc, they couldnt remember his name ,or even what they did to him, very impersonal,seemed like they were just pushing them thru quick as fast as possible. Couldnt be bothered to give any explanation or answer any questions, no hello,no good day etc, was pay ,take ur dog good bye . So i would not recommend this place . Took him to large chain, was greeted , explained everything ,and given price , when i returned same thing greeted warmly, told everything that was done ,tips etc to upkeep him to next visit and price didnt change, on way out was acknowledged as well as pet.

I brought my Moms 1.5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel here for the first time recently. I was overjoyed, as was my mother, with the fantastic cut Tina gave Carly. Tina is a true professional and I highly recommend her services. You wont be disappointed.

Emailed Tina last night. This morning she responded. Told me to bring in Bella to get her nails clipped. I was there at 10:15am. They took Bella in and started clipping her nails. Shes very compassionate, and talks to her clients..I am definitely going back . Thanks for the great experience with my Bella girl.

My little Annie was well cared for today. Her hair smells so clean and she is super soft. The girls are such sweethearts. Definitely recommend this groomer for all fur babies.

If I could give 10 stars I would. So sweet, kind and compassionate. My 14 year old chow chow had an accident on herself and they went above and beyond for us. When I picked her up not only was she groomed amazing and smelled so good but she was so happy!! I can’t thank them enough! Highly recommend

Wild Hair is the best! They are so good to our giant Goldendoodle! They give him the best haircut, and take care of all his grooming needs. He loves going which tells me they are great to him!

I came in as a walk in for a nail trim and the staff was so nice! They let me come in the back and comfort my pup while he was getting his nails trimmed. They treated him amazing

I was very disappointed in my previous grooming experiences for my dog Cooper. Wild Hair outdid themselves, I am happy, Cooper is happy, finally a great experience. We will be back for sure.

Tina is one of the best Dog Groomers, she is great with dogs. My dog always comes out looking great. She lives what she does and it really shows.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. After taking my dog to another place for a couple of years I noticed that she was sad for about two days after getting groomed. The last time I took her she had rashes and was bleeding. After searching online for a new pet groomer I came across Wildhair. I called and spoke with the owner she was super sweet and I scheduled an appointment. My doggie is very nervous and she came out happy and sooo cute and clean. I can tell the difference with my dog right away. This is a great place that has super sweet workers and treated my baby so nice. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely going back. Thank you so much!
