I brought my dog Casper in for an emergency. He fell into my sump pump. Fortunately, they fixed and stopped the bleeding. They are now my new vet. Hes fine now. Thank god!

This is a special call out to Dr. Kirshbaum.The front desk staff are so nice and I appreciate them and their helpfulness, but Kirshbaum was extremely rude and had zero compassion. Ive been warning my parents to leave this place because these vets consistently botch diagnoses, prescribe either overly potent or entirely unnecessary medications, and cant even give proper instructions. Kirshbaum diagnosed my dog with cancer and assumed he almost 99.9% “knew” it was cancer before tests or blood work, then had the nerve to be downright rude to my family, stating our dog is very old and is going to die anyways (actual words out of his mouth). Did tests today and our dog doesnt have cancer. My dog has been taking unnecessarily strong medication due to this doctor being almost positive it was cancer, then proceeded to prescribe strong medication and my poor dog had to endure side effects of it. Thank god we had done blood work and ran tests, or else we would have been giving our dog these medications until godforbid who knows when which, could have either made him very sick or had him potentially overdose because he was taking 8 pills A DAY total.The other doctors at this clinic I will say recently have been better than the ones in the past and are very nice and empathetic and clearly you can tell they actually care about the dogs. Yet the worst one of the three doctors here happens to be the owner??? How does that even begin to make sense?Clearly Kirshbaum lacks not only diagnostic skills but also basic compassion and empathy—qualities youd expect someone working with pets to possess. Pursue a different career because clearly, they cant diagnose, lack any semblance of empathy, and are just plain rude.While the other two doctors are cool and nice, I wouldnt say it’s worth going to this hospital solely due to the amount of issues Ive had here in the past since my family has been unfortunately going here for 16 years + now even under new ownership the new owner is awful. If you care about your pets well being , steer clear of this den of incompetence.

I take both my cat and dog here. The staff is always very gentle and kind to my animals. The ladies at the front desk are also very kind and helpful. The groomer is great as well. All staff is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Babylon Animal Hospital.

From the front desk to the medical staff, this was a seamless experience. It was my first time having a pet that needed surgery so I was anxious, nervous and had a lot of questions. EVERYONE was patient and explained everything to me.They all have a pleasant demeanor & made me feel like my cat was getting the top notch attention. I am glad I found Babylon Animal Hospital. I have no complaints and there is nothing I would change. FIVE STAR IS WELL DESERVED!

The whole staff is fantastic. Easy check in, no waiting to see a vet. Dr.B is the best and Danielle the groomer is amazing with my senior old man.

I switched to this vet about 6 months ago and Im very happy with the decision. It is easy to get an appointment and they have late hours, which is nice. I have seen two different vets, Kirshbaum and Biedermann. They were friendly and thorough in their exam of my pup. The staff and techs are very nice as well.

My little pom had an unknown issue - her back was hunched and was very uncomfortable. I immediately thought that any vet I went too can take advantage and order all sorts of tests, but not at Babylon Animal Hospital! They did the minimum amount required and found the issue! (back spasms!) Brooke in the front office was the nicest person ever! I will not go anywhere else for my pet!

I recently moved & wanted a vet close to my new house. I am so happy with Babylon animal hospital! Upon entering the lobby I was greeted by everyone at the front desk. My dog sometimes doesn’t get along with other animals & the lobby had a spot in a corner for us to sit so we could wait in a quieter area. Wait time to be seen was great! My dog was seen by Dr. Bederman & she was amazing! So kind, patient & thorough. She takes the time to listen to you with no interruptions. I have never met a vet as sweet as her! The technicians we met with were great as well! When it was time to leave, the waiting room at this time was filled with dogs & mine can be very reactive. The technician asked those with dogs to relocate / go outside just for a few minutes so he could get my dog outside with no problems. He waited outside with my dog while I paid my bill. I got such good vibes from the office & trusted the technician to take my dog into the lot & wait by my car. Everyone thanked me for coming in & I really felt welcome here. Once I left my dog was sitting with the technician outside with a big smile on her face. I made a great choice coming here. Would recommend 100%

The staff and doctors are beyond fabulous. Honestly, it does not bother me when my Truffle (a 5lb pomeranian) sees a different doctor. Dr Biederman and Dr. Mecurio is very thorough and patient with questions. Dr. Kirshbaum loves animals, and it shows. He is different from the other doctors as in if the animal is suffering from a common ear infection (which by the way should not be considered an emergency in any way or form) he will be straight to the point. I worked in the animal industry for over 20 years. I am on hiatus right now....thanks for asking 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry I love to joke. Honestly, you can not find a better staff and team that loves animals as much as this hospital. You can trust them 100 percent that are only do what is necessary to treat your pets medical issues

The staff and the veterinarians are excellent. I moved out here about a year ago and Ive been coming to this vet since. The technicians are very nice and patient. Dr. Biedermann takes her time with my dog and helps explain all steps to take in certain situations. She listens to my concerns and gives advice.I called for advice on a rash my dog had after hours and Dr. Biedermann called within a few hours and helped me with an over the counter medication until my appointment. She has also helped me with my dogs pregnancy and how to take care of my dog throughout this process.

I am delighted with how the team at Babylon Animal Hospital handle my visit with my puppy Benji. I brought my pet for a sick visit where it was unable to move one of his legs. I requested for my puppy to be seen, it was a Sunday and I was not expecting a response so quick, but one of the girls called right away to schedule him to be seen first thing the next morning. She was extremely helpful, efficient, and polite. I brought my puppy the next day and I felt very relieved to know that when I left my puppy with them, he couldnt be on better hands. The doctor examined him and performed pertinent imaging, also he was given pain relief medication. About an hour later, the doctor personally called me and explained everything he had done and what his recommendations were for further care. When I came to pick up my puppy, I noticed the difference right away. My puppy was active, joyful, and free of pain; more like his normal-self. I trust Babylon animal hospital because they treat our pets as if it was their own. The staff is efficient, professional, and willing to help, you can truly feel that they love what they do. I strongly recommend them.

The care my dog gets from Dr. Biedermann is unmatched. She’s kind, encouraging, and genuinely cares. She’s thorough and takes as much time as needed to explain care plans. Prices at this office are reasonable and will allow you to properly care for your pets without needing pet insurance or a second mortgage. The place can use a facelift and a better cleaning crew, but Dr. Biedermann’s care will make you overlook those things.

I have two dogs and had an appointment for one of them for their teeth. Twice, they messed up the appointment time. I confirmed the appointment and when I showed up they had AGAIN no record of my dogs appt. This was twice. So, I found a new vet. Good Luck

This place is the best I have been to out of many animal hospitals in Suffolk county. The staff is wonderful very friendly. The doctors are also very friendly and knowledgeable. I take my dog here many times to get her nails trimmed and for her actual vet appointments and everything always turns out wonderful.Now my dog just had a mass removed (operation) from the back of her neck. Let me tell you...the amount of caring, gentle handling and up to date information about my dog..... outstanding! I wish my regular doctors had such a caring staff like this! Never experienced such love and care from any vet in my life like my dog and I got from Babylon Animal Hospital! Doctors and staff outstanding in what you do and how much you care about each and every animal!!!! 💕 Love this place!!!

DISGUSTING!!! While I felt Dr Kirshbaum was helpful and honest. His reception/office staff is absolutely one of the worst. And unfortunately when you call the office and/or need something, that is who you have to deal with. Four phone calls from another Drs office who is a specialist waiting for the X-rays and nothing. For an animal that needed emergency surgery that Dr Kirshbaum was not able to perform. When they finally sent them over, they emailed them in a way that was useless and unreadable. Dr. Kirshbaum if you see this review, there are plenty of people looking for jobs that will do better than what you have.EDIT::::: This review is in no way against Dr Kirshbaum himself. As stated I felt he was helpful and honest. He is not an orthopedic surgeon and that is why he was not able to perform the surgery.

I can not begin to explain the sincere compassion and kindness that everyone at Babylon Animal Hospital showed us when we had to put our dog Kaya down. The ladies at the front desk, the vet tech, and Dr. Steven were all amazing and made a very difficult time slightly easier. We will never be using another vet ever again! We truly can not thank them all enough.

Took my elderly cat there after we noticed she was struggling to breathe. I called as soon as they opened and they shoved us in their schedule literally a half hour after their doors would open (called at 8 was in the exam room by 8:30) with no trouble, the receptionist was obviously caring and understanding that I was very, very worried over the phone. The techs were very gentle with her and very sweet. The vet we saw was very kind and just as gentle and helpful. She immediately took action and took care of my cat when she saw she was in more distress than we thought. After close to an hour of observation and questions, the vet determined my cat would need a series of tests and even then it wasnt a guarantee that they could help her and suggested we put her down. While I was devastated I was very appreciative that she didnt try to push for tests and treatments to squeeze money from us. Once we made the decision, the vet answered all of our questions with no sense of rudeness or belittling in her tone. She made my cat comfortable and let us be there during the whole ordeal and even offered us to stay in the room alone with the cat. They placed her in a cardboard box for us to take home for burial. And after all was done it was only $200 which was more than reasonable.My only issue was we were there for a while, from 8:30 to nearly 12:00 but considering the state my cat was in, the services they provided and the fact we were emergency walk-ins on what seemed like an incredibly busy day, I really cannot complain or expect more. Wonderful place and will definitely be bringing my two new kittens here for their care.

I am a very difficult person to please. I have been going to Babylon Animal Hospital for 20 years. I was a huge fan of Dr Liguori but when he retired last year I wanted to try another animal hospital. I took my rescue dog to another facility and they were fine but my dog was not comfortable. She was growling and scared. I was going to give them another chance but when I tried to make an appointment they told me that she was have to be semi-sedated. I decided to go back to Babylon Animal Hospital. What a difference. Every member of the staff took the time to make sure my dog was feeling comfortable. They gave her treats, didnt move too quickly and spoke with a gentle tone. Not only did it go well but after 3 shots, my dog didnt want to leave! Dr Kirshbaum was amazing. Considering that my 55+ pound dog can become seriously aggressive, this is a strong statement. I am SO happy with the care she received.

The best vet experience Ive had in years. Literally everyone there is compassionate and professional; the receptionists, the vet tech, and the vet himself.

Kind, thoughtful and attentive from the front desk to the vets. They took great care of my pup and although he probably hates them for the shots, I think theyre great!

Very kind and thoughtful staff and doctors. My family has used this vet for care of 2 dogs. Treatment has been excellent and costs are reasonable. Have never been pressured for extra services like at some other vets used in the past. Our dogs have always been well cared for.I like that they are an independent practice and not associated with a large national chain. The new ownership seems to really care and is making improvements to the practice. Dr. Kirshbaum and Dr. Biederman have treated our dogs with skill and compassion and we will continue to visit the practice for our pets needs. Highly recommend!

The vet I have been using for years retired and I needed to find a vet quickly for my sick cat Ollie. I checked the reviews for Babylon Animal Hospital and they were good. Dr. Steven Mercurio saw Ollie and he could not have been more professional, gentle, kind, and understanding. He took the time to go through the blood work report with me and explain everything. I have 3 other cats and they will all be going to Dr. Mercurio in the future. Thank you Doctor and your entire staff for your kindness and gentleness with Ollie.

Ive been going to this amazing place for 16 years now. The staff is amazing! Dr L is an outstanding surgeon and he loves the animals like his own. Very affordable and honest vet. Appointments are easy to make and always available when needed. I since moved out east yet I rather drive the 45 minutes to Babylon animal hospital then trust my animals with any other vet. They truly are the best!! Keep up the amazing job!!

I brought my rescue dog here for her first exam.The staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful, and very kind. I was given the first available appointment. The veterinary assistant, Dave, was friendly, and put my dog at ease immediately. Dr. Kirschbaum performed a very thorough and complete exam. He patiently answered all my questions. Later that day, I called the office, and asked if the Dr. could call me, as I had forgotten to ask him a few things during the exam. He returned my call that night. I subsequently decided to follow through with some testing the Dr. suggested, and was given an appointment 2 days later, on a Saturday. Right on time, they brought my dog in for the testing, and she was done in 10 minutes. I called the office Tuesday, late afternoon, to ask about the results, and I was told if they were available, the Dr. would call me. Again, Dr. Kirschbaum, called that night and went over the results, and kindly answered ant further questions I had.I found the Babylon Animal Hospital to be professional, caring, and staffed with people who really care about your pet. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our pets to Babylon Animal Hospital since moving to New York 4.5 years ago. Recently, the practice was purchased by Dr. Kirschbaum. We have always had a good experience, but Dr. Kirschbaum and his team absolutely deliver a great experience! Dr. Kirschbaum is very calm and has a friendly personality. Our pets all love him and the very caring techs. Kudos as well to the front desk team. They are friendly, caring, and super helpful. We are glad that we found such an excellent practice close to our home. Highly recommend them!

This review is long overdue. I feel extremely misled by this veterinary practice and would not recommend based off of my experience. My dog was initially vaccinated with a 1 year rabies vaccine in feb 2020 by the rescue she was adopted from. When I went to Dr. Kirshbaum in Feb 2021 requesting a 3 year rabies vaccine, I was told my dog did not qualify for a 3 year vaccine at that point and would need a SECOND 1 year vaccine before she could start getting the 3 year vaccine. I trusted him and took him for his word because I was unable to find any definitive protocols for NYS online. After speaking to a few vets since, I was beside myself to find out that this was absolutely not true! After a dog receives their first 1 year rabies vaccine, on record, they can continue with the 3 year rabies vaccine moving forward. I was distraught to learn this as I was trying to be as conservative as possible with her vaccines and made him aware of this. I was able to get her the 3 year rabies vaccine in feb 2022 by a different vet but it disgusts me to think she unnecessarily had to receive 3 rabies vaccines in the matter of 2 years!!! Again would not recommend if you have your pets best interest at heart.

I had been using this animal hospital for 30 plus years! When Dr Liguori sold the practice I was very surprised as he was treating my dog for Mass Cell Tumors and just vanished. A week ago my cat was in distress with breathing problems. When I called I was told they couldnt see him for 5 days. When I tried to explain to the receptionist I was told if that was the case then just bring him to an ER. Very disappointed and I will NEVER go back there again! Shame on the new owners.Update: After seeing this post I was called by the new owners wife of the hospital and they were shocked that this happened. It was a new receptionist and they have taken care of her and her manners. After explaining about my poor kitty, they requested the test results from the ER hospital and within an hour Dr Kirshbaum called me and gave me his second opinion on my cat. They righted the wrong! I will be bringing my pets back there to see how the new ownership will be with my kids.

We recently got a 7 month old puppy. Grey hound, black mouth cur mix female from a shelter in New Jersey. My wife wanted a wellness check as well as flea meds for her. She will be going outside at times to play so its a must the flea med. I brought my kitten there because she wasnt eating like usual and Dr. Kirshbaum was very gentle and Blaze wasnt afraid of him. He was able to put her on her back to check her stomach. To make a long story short all was well. I felt reassured she will go back to eating which she did. I guess she just needed a Drs touch.So when it came to our pup I wasnt thinking twice. Dr. Mercurio was made Lexi feel comfortable within minutes. She gets a little skirmish with new people. But after the examination she was laying down by his feet. Its nice that both my pets feel comfortable with the Drs. I still have to bring the other three cats in for a wellness check.I dont want you think that I forgot the front desk. Both ladies were very friendly when I walked in. We forget they are the front line for the Drs. They hear our complaints about our furry or feathery loved ones as well as other pets we love. We all have been in this position once in our lives. Overall another happy ending to the vet.

I’m very picky about who treats my animals, and bringing them here was the best move ever! The staff are all amazing, receptionists are all super kind and caring. Doctor Mercurio is the best and one of the only people I’d ever trust with my dogs!

Absolutely amazing! They were so wonderful. My cat Bella has been throwing up and going potty very abnormal. I brought her in when my mom passed to find out what to do and they checked her out (yes it was a tad pricey but very worth it) and they gave her a shot and some meds. SHE HAS NOT THROWN UP OR HAD AN ABNORMAL BOWL MOVEMENT SINCE! I am so pleased with how this worked out and bella will forever use them as her doc!

I have been bringing my pets to this place for over 15 years without a particularly bad experience, which is why I have been recommending them to friends and family. However, something must have changed there in the past few months, as I am apalled to hear that my friends pet came home with a UTI after being spayed. Not only did they refuse to acknowledge responsibility, they also handed out expired antibiotics to treat the condition. They will certainly not see my pets anymore.

I have been bringing my puppy here since day one. They do an excellent job. Danielle is the groomer. She is a good person down to earth. A very excellent excellent groomer.

The veterinary and assistant are very good l have a rottweiler and they have one assistant named Eric and my rotti gets happy when she sees him

Edit: Owner says my cat was never treated at BAH. From the day after I adopted him when he was 6 weeks old to current, I have been a customer of BAH... shame on you for not taking responsibility. Feel free to check your records, don’t blame google for your customer reviews, and stop your own nonsense. How about instead of attacking your customer reviews with defensive remarks, you should investigate the problem and try to offer a solution.I really liked going to Babylon animal hospital with our rescue orange tabby kitten. They were great with him. Unfortunately after a few routine visits, I encountered (twice in a row) a tech that was just very abrasive and didn’t seem to have much care for my kitty. Regardless I continued to go because I could tell that Doctor C was very passionate and caring. The deal breaker for me was when we took the kitten to have a routine neuter procedure and he was returned to us with a bloody tail area. It was scary and I didn’t know if something had gone wrong. I called and the receptionist (who has always been very pleasant) did apologize and seemed quite embarrassed by what we had found. After a lot of internal back and forth I was going to give them another shot. So I called and asked for an appointment with Dr C and was informed that she isn’t any longer there. The bloody mess after neuter and the rude/uncaring tech were the reasoning for my review. Other than that, they seemed to be ok. It’s just unfortunate because it’s very close to me and I would have liked to establish a good relationship with a vet I could continue to take my kitty to. I have never met with Dr Liguori (*sp?) but have heard mostly good things. Will be doing research for another vet in the area. May consider going back but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t uneasy.

They were very quick to get me an appointment for my dog. Nice and friendly people working at this location. We were in and out with a physical checkup and all the shots for the year.

My dog groomer Danielle is a Saint. She does a great job with my dog! The staff will always remind me of his shots and I appreciate their recommendations. Very satisfied👍🏾

I had to put my cat to sleep as she was failing and not doing well. The wonderful women at the counter were Very empathetic and very sincere in expressing their sympathy. It was nice to know that ppl really care for the loss of a pet that you had loved for many years.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The Doctor and the Vet Tech were so caring and gentle with my scared kitty! I know that helped her to calm down.

I have been taking my dog to Babylon Animal Hospital for many years just for check ups and shots and have always been happy with the service and the prices! Then my cat got sick. I called them and told them he was just going in and out of the litter box all day. THEY SAVED MY CATS LIFE! They said to bring him in right away, that he could be having a problem urinating and needed to be seen immediately! Thank goodness these people know their stuff!! They saved my cats life!! I tell all my friends to go there!!

Very nice staff, I called immediately and they got my dog right away. I was amazed they did that. Dr. Ligori was fantastic he explained what was wrong with my dogs paw, he was terrific taking care of my compaign dog, he gave me a better out look for my dog.I will continue to go the this Vet. Had an awesome visit with my cat Leo yesterday. We saw Dr. Mercurio who was wonderful. The entire staff was so friendly and professional! Would recommend them to family and friends! Thanks again!

Ok Dr Ligouri and I have developed an outstanding relationship with all my dogs.Until today,went to get my Jack Russel spayed and well the price went up over 70 BUCKS!! Then I was told the puppy needed one more shot but due to the spaying no INJECTIONS will be done.I come back to check on the dog,was told it has been vomiting and was given some shots.And I would have to pay extra.I never had one issue with this doctor ever.But look the reviews and now more money they wanna add on.I dont know about this place any more.What happened?????

Nothing but good things to say about this hospital and their staff. They took my dog in when she wasnt even a patient, cared for her and helped us make the difficult decision of putting her to rest. They were kind, helpful and compassionate. Thank you for helping us today!!

Dr. Biedermann is nice and seems thorough but the practice does not have good follow-through.

I highly recommend babylon animal hospital, Dr Kirshbaum is a very kind and compassionate man and the staff is wonderful i just brought my cat there for tooth surgery and couldnt be happier with the results. I have been going here for decades and it just gets better.

I wouldnt go anywhere else. Never had issues. Our 11 month old puppy was just spayed there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Couldnt ask for better!

I took my miniature Schnauzer in for her yearly shots. During the previous yearly shots, she had a reaction to the Lepto shot, her whole face swelled up and her eyes were swollen shut. I had informed both the nurse and the doctor that it happened and that I would rather her not get the shot this year. The lepto shot is not a necessary shot for dogs that are mostly house dogs. It prevents the dog from catching Leptospira from infected animals, which is not that common and they would have to come in contact with infected urine or be bitten by an infected animal to get it. Also, Schnauzers are not supposed to get this specific shot because they are prone to reactions, which the doctor should have known. I had repeatedly told the doctor that I really felt she shouldnt get the shot, he kept insisting that she should really get it. He told me he would give her Benadryl and that she probably wouldnt have a reaction anyway. He gave her the shot and we get in my car to leave and she starts shaking and whimpering and then proceeds to vomit violently all over my car. My dog is CONSTANTLY in my car and NEVER gets motion sickness. She is also not prone to throwing up or having a sensitive stomach. I rushed right back to the Vet and told them it was a reaction to the Lepto shot. The nurse, was shocked that the doctor gave her the Lepto anyway, because I was so worried about her reaction. They took her in the back, and I went quickly to my car to clean the seat. When I came back in the building, they were trying to put her in a cage. They told me they needed to keep her for the rest of the day to monitor her. I told them that would not be happening and to take her out of the cage, that I would sit with her in the office but they were not putting my terrified sick dog in a cage. The doctor insisted they keep her but the nurse , Pam (who was extraordinary and the best part of this whole experience) took my dog out of the cage and put me in one of the rooms with her. The doctor came in and said we could not leave because she was dehydrated and they gave her steroid to stop the vomiting which could cause a seizure if she is dehydrated. I told him she is dehydrated because she was throwing up and probably needs water, so he went and got her some water. He left the room and she started getting better, drank some water was walking around the room etc. Every time the doctor came back in the room, she got terrified again and would jump on my lap, which concerned me because my dog LOVES people and always wants attention from them. Eventually she was better and the doctor cleared us to leave, but wanted me to stop at the desk to pay for the medicine he had given her. It is ridiculous to charge me for something he should not have given her in the first place. Something I specifically said she should not have. The nurse agreed with me and told the office I was not paying and to let me walk out. If it wasnt for the nurse, I probably would have been fighting with them for a long time about this. A simple appointment for shots turned into a traumatizing three hour experience for my poor dog. I will not be going back to them.

I stopped coming to this vet hospital for several months now but it occurred to me to educated everyone else curious about this place.My dog was diagnosed with Pancreatitis by the male doctor, Dr. Frank Liguori. He advised to keep my dog in a low fat diet so I did just that. My dog continued having issues so I went back a couple of months later. Sitting in the waiting room waiting for the doctor, a little dog comes into my room (Dr. Frank Liguori’s personal dog) and proceeds to bites and fight with my dog. Dr. Frank Liguori comes in and says that his dog doesn’t not normally react like that AND DISMISSES WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED. I was completely distraught with my dog’s deteriorating condition and the situation at hand that I began crying. The doctor just became awkward and kept on talking. He said my dog was ok and he wasn’t injured by his personal dog. I left the room after we spoke about my dog’s condition and left paying for my services in tears. I went to the doctor to get answers, not for my dog to be attacked.I am currently going to a wonderful vet in the Amityville village. He verified that my dog does indeed have pancreatitis but needed IV fluids immediately. Something Dr. Frank Liguori never suggested. My dog continues to thrive under my new vets name.Please do your research before going here. The male doctor, Dr. Frank Liguori, has no people skills and is not empathetic at all. That situation was absolutely handled horrible and unprofessionally. I wish I wasn’t crying so hard that moment because I would’ve expressed my concerns then and there to that male vet.The other female vets are wonderful but the male vet made this a 1/5 star review. To top it all off, he is the managing director. He is not qualified for the role. Yes, you may be knowledgeable about the science but that’s just half of the job. These pets have owners and one must be proficient in those people skillsDo your research everyone. The reviews don’t lie.

I love the staff they are all nice and try hard. One thing I dont like is everytime I go there Dr. Lugori makes me feel like im not taking care of my dog. Which if I wasnt I wouldnt be there in the first place. Im sure he doesnt mean it that way I just dont like it when your there trying to help your animal and they make you feel bad about yourself. :(

Ive only had good experiences with this business, especially while seeing a looking at their great reviews online. My Brother in NY, who lives in the Bronx was very pleased with his experience with this vet and said that the compassion they showed when their dog needed to be put down was exceptional and they couldnt imagine have gone through that with any business except for Babylon. Its truly a blessing to have them in Lindenhurst, its a blessing to have them in New York State and its a blessing to have such a caring animal clinic. Thanks guys from the bottom of our hearts and I wish your business all the success from your outstanding customer service.

I’ve been coming here for 15 years. I brought my cat in for blood work back in March and all they did was give him antibiotics and no follow ups even though the blood was concerning to begin with found out yesterday from another vet that my poor baby has lymphoma and they should have caught that in March but didn’t care to follow up and now it’s too far gone.Thanks for nothing.

Delayed and when I asked if I should reschedule they said “5 minutes”. Waited over an hour and ver never showed up. In addition very poorly kept facilities. I never met the vet maybe they make the facility worth going to but I never met. Would never go again.

The staff and the veterinarians are excellent. The prices are a little bit higher than mostly any other places Ive brought my pets to but I feel like they care more than most other vets and from my experience they are better than most other places Ive gone to in the past.

Where to start with this place first my sister and dog go in then the doctor is rude and when my sister would ask a question about something on the dog he would just dismiss the question. What Is this guy getting paid for? Certainly not math either considering he gave her a price she went up to the desk to pay and now it’s more money then he said. I wouldn’t bother taking an family or friend pets anywhere near this place it’s worth the drive get to a doctor that cares about his profession

Great vet and very accommodating. They push to get you in when its an emergency and theyre very reasonably priced.They also always remember your pet and seem to genuinely care.

Ok, Kristen at the front desk was very friendly and helpful I was allowed to bring in my two kitty cats stool samples to get tested instead of having to bring the kitty cats in. Results came fast and thank God they were negative. I recommend this place for their friendliness and professionalism.

The receptionist are very kind and helpful. The doctor and assistants were very attentive to my almost 13 year old boxer. Thankful!

Some vets leave you with unanswered Qs and/or a bunch of medical terms that are over the head of the average person.. not the case here.Dr C was so gentle with my very sick kitty. (Thanks Dr.C!) She answered every question in simple terms. She explained what the next step should be (an mri), why and the approx cost.My only complaint is about the long wait. Our appt time was noon but we didnt see the vet til after 1pm.

I called to refill a prescription for my Dog and was told np come in they close at 8pm. I got there around 7:15 and they told me no they close at 7pm. I asked if I can just get his meds they told me no. I explained that I worked all of the following day and they told me to come when I can. I feel like they dont care anymore. I will have to look into getting another vet. and you should to.

Second time. Dr. L gave my 17 yr old cat too much thyroid meds. Going to a wonderful vet who is caring and compassionate.Staff is wonderful.

Dr Lopez did a wonderful job taking care of my very ill cat. He is very caring and very informative in terms of my cats medical treatment. My cat is healed ! Thank you Dr. Lopez!

Babylon animal hospital. Took care of my companion and best friendBut most of all family member for 12 years. Doctor Liguori knows his stuff. The staff is absolutely fantastic. And I wouldnt go any where else. Thank you Babylon Animal hostitial for eveything.

I cant thank Dr. Bierdermann enough for taking care of my dog Coco. She took her time and was very thorough. Coco is now back to her mischievous ways.

I have a 4 year old Boxer who has been going to Doctor Ligouri from a pup. I feel the care is the best everyone from Ladies at front desk to the owner Doctor Liqouri could not be more helpful. I can tell Doctor Ligouri Loves his work and my dog Butch loves him.

I would never take my babies to someplace that kicked out a family with a dying dog! Poor Nugget! Its disgusting! Then, to add insult to injury, Liguori says the man needs to get over it and accused him of not taking care of his dog properly! I have worked at a few animal hospitals and we ALWAYS stayed late if need be. The animals should always come first! Its great that these doctors have a life outside work, but maybe you shouldve thought about that before you took a job handling another living beings LIFE! I hope this place gets shut down!

Never again dr. ligouri turned my dog away as he was closing and my dog did not make it ... this place should be closed down .. this is not the first time that they have mistreated I have herd from other people who have many bad experiences.. you take an oath to help the helpless and to save and take care of life .. My dog died because of him ... how could he sleep at night .....please close this place down for once

When my regular vet in Deerpark refused to see me for an emergency and was 2 week wait i went to Babylon Animal Hospital got me in as an emergency. Dr Laguri and staff great!

Have been taking our dogs here for years. They always treat them with care and affection and are attentive to any of our concerns.

Dr Frank Ligouri and I use to have a great relationship until he recently spayed my Jack Russel Terrier.First the price of spaying went up 70 bucks he says medicine went up prices etc.Ok was a bit concerned of that.Then under his care I was told the dog vomited and needed two injections.And of course I have to pay for only one.So I was like ok.I then went back to get pain medicine for the puppy.I now call to make another appointment for my other dog that has some serious eye issues and now he does not wanna see my dog.THIS man does not care about animals he will take your money as much as he can.He also has alot of bad reviews and on Facebook.He injects animals with too much medicine.His reputation is getting worse keep googling folks now my dog needs his attention and he refuses to help !!some doctor after all these years he does this.Forget this man....

Rip Off! They quote a price for a return booster shot and than tack on another $65 for a visit. I specifically asked them prior what the cost would be. They charged $65 to shove a thermometer up my puppys butt! Thats the last time I go there!

They are so wonderful and caring to my aging pup CJ, as well as my young dog Hunter. Even my cat Moxy is not so upset going there. They have a great staff, all the way from the front desk to the doctors and groomers. So glad my animals are so loved here!

Dr. Biederman is the best. She is very attentive and thorough when examining. And does follow up calls to make sure medicine is working.

Nice people. Friendly doctors. Took care of all the paperwork needed to bring our dog to Ireland. The groomer is very nice and takes good care of our dog and cats. A little pricey though so be prepared to lay out some dough.

Dr. Biederman is the BEST ! She treated our Charlie for heartworm and he is doing great. Its been a year of treatment and he did amazing and treatment is now complete. We are always comfortable going there :)

We use to LOVE this practice until, during one of the most difficult times, they dropped the ball BIG TIME!!! To some it might not be an issue but after having our dog put down, they lost the last piece of our girl we could have had.During the time we were there for the visit they must have asked at least a half a dozen time if we wanted her paw print, to which we responded yes each time. We were going to stay and wait but my wife was distraught too say the least. Only to go in there today to find out they lost it.What they did lose was, not only my trust but my business as well. How do I walk in there again knowing they deprived us of the lasting piece of our girl, and to be offered a refund on the paw print, seriously??????Needless to say, 1 star does not make us feel better, NOR does it give us the memorial planned for our Roxy!!Thanks for the broken heart!!!!

The customer service is great but I don’t feel like they’re too knowledgeable as I took my puppy here for 3-4 months straight for worms! The worms did not go away and I ended up spending over $500 for nothing. Took them to another vet that charged me $100 and the worms disappeared the same week and she has been worm free ever since

I live in Syosset and drive past many veterinary hospitals to get to Babylon Animal Hospital - its well worth the trip. The staff is friendly and efficient, and my cat gets exceptional care and is treated with love and kindness. In addition, it is a full service clinic, which is why necessary tests like my cats x-rays and ultrasound could be done on-site. Dr. Kirshbaum is a terrific diagnostician, providing thoughtful analysis and treatment, and, in a recent visit, he had a top-notch ultrasound specialist in to perform that test. Ive taken pets to a lot of vets at a number of hospitals, and this is clearly the best place to go.

The ladies at the front desk are great, respectful, professional and courteous. The doctor that visited my dog was very rude, I asked that he give my dog only the vaccines he had been getting at his previous vet and he did not agree. Hi response was very rude he threw the vial he was not going to use into the sink! I asked if there was a problem and he responded No I will give him just the one you requested. He then kicked the refrigerator closed. Then he asked that I lift my mask over my nose. I said I cant because I have asthma and he asked me to leave the room. I refused and took my dog and left. Very rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend Dr Kirshbaum at all and I wouldnt trust him with any of my pets.

Professional and caring veterinary , was extremely helpful in answering all my questions, the doctor is down to earth and is a genuine guy.

I highly recommend this animal hospital. I especially appreciate Dr. Parsley, she is highly knowledgeable, qualified, patient and kind. But moreover she does not suggest expensive unnecessary treatments.

Customer care was unflinching during the pandemic. They dont cut costs but will work with you on payments. *YOU Should have gotten that pet insurance when YOU had a chance.
