Ace is SO happy! He passed his evaluation at Pawsatively Petastic and now can go to daycare and boarding at this fabulous place! 15,000 square feet of CAGE FREE boarding where dogs of all sizes romp and play, both indoors and outdoors! This is like heaven on earth for dogs and Ace didn’t want to leave. I HIGHLY recommend this doggie daycare/boarding for anyone in the Westchester and Putnam area - you WON’T be disappointed! We’ve known the owners Lia and Ray for a long time, even back before they had this facility when they provided pet care in their own home. They are wonderful people, will treat your dogs like their own family, and will provide so much enrichment to your dog’s life through play and socialization with other dogs in a state of the art (however affordable) facility! ❤️

I had my multi-Pooh boarded with positively neglectful Daycare , for three nights. I did hear that there were some issues, but it was last minute and against my better judgment I sent him. ,When I picked him up on Saturday. he seemed disorientated as if he didn’t know where he was or who I was.At this point he was walking fine. I got him home a couple of hours later he couldn’t even walk. It seemed as if something wore off . He was in extreme pain. He would not walk. I could not touch his back or his shoulders legs and paws. He just cried. I was mortified and took him to the vet immediately. She said he was dehydrated and definitely something had happened. when I called the facility on Friday to see how he was doing, they said everything was fine. When I picked him up as soon as we got home he also started with stomach problems throwing up diarrhea and blood in his diarrhea. I paid $428 to the vet. I placed my dog in their care thinking he was going to be taken care of and safe, they refused to take any responsibility. They said I signed a waiver, which apparently gives them a license to abuse dogs. I see there’s some good reviews here but believe me I’ve heard some terrible ones I would definitely never ever bringing your dog there. Unfortunately dogs can’t talk . If mine could I would love to hear what was done to him . They put the big dogs outside in the dead of summer and is all you hear is barking consistently I believe in my heart that something is not right at that facility and I am going to look into it. It’s not acceptable to treat or neglect animals because someone signed a waiver. !!!!!!!!!’

These owners are loving people who are diligent and have the best interest for the pet in their comfort and safety and happiness.On top of that they run a successful business and not only keep best interest of the pet, but really secure a wonderful feeling for the pet owners.Safety and security and healthy atmosphere is what you will see here!Super nice honest people… can’t say enough!Just picked up my two large dogs from 3 day vacation…. These dogs of mine run free at my home on 2.5 acres……every day and still wine cry etc.Tonight? We picked up? My dogs are happyHealthy and zonked!!!They had tons of friends to play with withAmazing environment!So grateful and so thankful we have people and a place we can finally trust!

I was looking over 2 years to find a daycare for my puppy which is a Doberman and every place I called wouldn’t take my puppy until I called Pawsitively and they took a chance on Xena and I am just thrilled how much she loves going here. The owners and the staff love Xena . I moved and I am driving a little more because I know Xena loves this place. I take her for daycare and boarding. I trust them 100 percent, maybe one day Xena will let them give her a bath and cut her nails Lol.

Marcelo grabs his collar and is ready to go when he hears “let’s go see Raymond at pawsitively”. It’s his home away from home. Only people I trust with my boy. He goes in by himself most of the time and announces his grand arrival!! Comes home happy and exhausted. 5 wagging tails for pawsitively and EVERYONE who works so incredibly hard to take such great care of these pups.

Daisy loves pawsitively petastic. She cant wait to get in the door to see her doggie friends. Shes happily exhausted when she comes home with a smile and tail wagging when we say doggie day care.

I left my dog here for overnight boarding for 6 nights. It was her first time being with people and a bunch of other dogs that he didn’t know. I called two days in a row to check on him and I was glad they didn’t sugar coat anything. They were honest with me about how nervous he was. But after a few days he did great. When I picked him up he was ready to go back inside and even went to one of the coworkers to get a kiss before he left. They are so sweet and it’s an awesome place. We will be using them again in the future.

Star and I found our other loving family right under our nose on Route 6. Star is very social and playful but truly thinks she is the size of a Toy Poodle. Apparently something happened in her early formative years that causes her to be shy with dogs her size. I explained all of this to Lia, Ray, Emily and Maryann and they accommodate us by allowing Star to mingle with the littles and the medium size dogs. She firmly reminds me at 6:00 am when its her doggy day care day and waits not- so- patiently as I get ready. She cant wait to go visit her friends, both human and canine, and comes home happy and exhausted. The folks at Pawsitively treat both of us like family and we couldnt have found a more loving, caring place to care for our wonderful greyhound. Try it for a day or for an overnight stay. You and your dog will be hooked! There is no better place.

My GSD is so happy here. He gets so excited when we arrive he doesn’t even hesitate to go with the staff. He is even happy when we board him. Lia and Ray and their staff clearly love the animals and the environment is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this business.

I have been bringing Sadie here for some time now for one a week daycare and socialization, and have used them for overnight boarding a few times. To put it bluntly, alI have to say in the morning is , Do you wanna go play with friends and she would drive herself there if she could. She LOVES it. and when I pick her up , I get a fully exhausted and had a full day of play pup :)

Very nice place owner and staff are super friendly and wonderful with the doggies brought to them. We look forward to having them take care of our furbaby in the near future...

Our little pup has been boarding here since we moved to the area last summer. Its literally a palace for dogs. The rooms are set up to be just like a home and he takes to his perch on top of the couch just like he would at home. People there are friendly and prices we feel comfortable paying.

I drive out of may way to drop our dog at PP and it is well worth it! Our extremely active American Bulldog becomes quite the troublemaker when he is bored and under exercised. He LOVES being at PPs dog daycare and he comes home tired and happy - which makes us all happy! Since we started bringing him to PP, he is like a different dog even on the days he doesnt go there. The staff is great. They are well versed on dog behavior and are all very kind and friendly. They really care about the animals and it shows. The facility is spotless and huge. The price is extremely reasonable for what you get back and the ability to do drop in dog daycare for an hour or two when you are in a pinch is like sprinkles on the sundae. What a lifesaver for us to have a place to bring our dog any day of the week when he needs some activity and play with his friends. We are so glad we found PP!

Update 15Dec2022: I appreciated the nice response from the owner. But the issues I listed below (around April 2022) with my dog after boarding at this place persist until now. My dog cannot bark properly and she had to go over laryngeal examination which diagnosed unilateral laryngeal nerve paralysis which one of the causes is trauma around the neck. There are other possible causes, but considering the symptoms started abruptly right after the boarding, I’m pretty confident it happened during the boarding. I’m extremely sad since this is irreversible and could lead to breathing issues and increased chance of pneumonia. I am disappointed since I was told everything was “great” during her boarding and nobody mentioned any issues (or worse, nobody even noticed).Review from around April 2022:I had different issues in my experience boarding my dog at this place for 2 weeks while traveling abroad. I will never do it again. To try to be brief:1) they don’t send any pictures or videos (you have no idea what is going on, except when you call the place and they also said everything was “great”).2)The worst thing is that my dog has no voice (hoarse bark) since the day I picked her up over a month ago. They didn’t notice anything at the boarding facility (as they said), but is is very odd if she just started barking hoarse right after I picked her up.3) She is small, 19-19.5 pounds in general, she was 17 pounds the day I picked her up and they charged me the rate for dogs over 20 pounds. I asked and they informed that “in their scale she was over 20 pounds”.4) The least of the issues, but I brought food for about 18 days (although she stayed 12). My dog eats a prescription food. They did not return her remaining food. They said “there was nothing left” (although they said she didn’t eat well the first days and the fact that she lost 2 pounds during boarding).I thought useful to share my experience, to help others to make a choice. The people seemed nice (except for the receptionist which was kind of rude to us first time we went there). But I will not leave my dog there again.

Treat your pets like family. Staff goes above and beyond and very thorough.

We have been bringing our dog to Pawsitively Petastic since he has been a puppy (he’s four now)! Our boy has a strong, and at times, stubborn personality and Ray, Lia, Emily and the entire PP staff understand and appreciate him, even with all his quirks. The facility is huge and immaculate, with lots of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to play. Every staff member we have interacted with has been compassionate and loving towards our pup! We bring our dog for both the daycare and overnight stays and every time our dog comes home happy and exhausted! If we could give PP a 10 star rating, we would!

My dog absolutely loves coming to daycare at Pawsitively Petastic. As soon as we pull into the parking lot he goes crazy! He runs in and is greeted by the wonderful staff. He comes home tired and happy! Everyone there truly cares for each and every dog. We are so happy to have a place to bring our dog for exercise and socializing that he enjoys and we can feel comfortable when he’s there. Highly recommend!!

Our dog LOVES Pawsitively Petastic!! Were so glad we have a place that is cage free to take him to run around and socialize. Its the only place weve taken him where he runs straight for the door to go inside and comes home so tired from running around all day. Its a huge space, and they have so many areas for the dogs, indoor and outdoor , to play around in. Fun playground setting outside for the dogs to climb on and couches indoors for them to relax and lounge:) Their hours are great and the people there are fantastic. The owners Ray and Lia are the best . Highly recommend for daycare and boarding. Ive never been so trusting in a place like this.

The owners Ray and Leah are the best! I work for a client of theirs and even though my dog Chloe wasnt a good fit for doggie day care (senior clingy girl) they couldnt have been nicer and didnt even charge me! My dog was welcome to board there though so they really have the clients best interest at heart. They put people first over profits. Please try their services out you wont be sorry!

Boarded our one-year-old golden doodle, Teddy, for a week in April. The facility is very large and clean. Ray and Lia, and the whole staff, were great. They clearly love dogs, know the dogs that come to them very well, and take great care of them. It was our first time boarding Teddy, and they made us feel very comfortable. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Will definitely bring Teddy back— highly recommend!

Jasmine has been going to Lia & Ray for over 3 years now when we started taking her to their house to be watched. We are so happy for Pawsitively that they have now grown and expanded to this amazing facility! We are grateful that Jasmine is in a loving and safe environment when going to camp during the day and especially during overnight visits. She is able to run free and play with her pals all day long with no crates! It is so comforting for our family to know she is taken care and being loved by the Pawsitively team!

I searched for more than a year to find a place for daycare and boarding for my 2 dogs. As soon as I walked in to Pawsitively Petastic, I knew I was in the right place. There is so much space, indoors and outdoors, for the dogs to run and play. It looks like home with furniture with sofas, beds, armchairs and a puppy paradise with platforms and tires and play houses. The level of care is superb, they know my dogs as well as I do, and my dogs love the staff. They get so excited when we pull into the parking lot. When my dogs are at Pawsitively Petastic I have no worries, I know they are in very capable hands. There is someone on site 24 hours a day, which is a real comfort when they board. All dogs are temperament tested, they even helped my one dog overcome her anxiety around other dogs. Cannot speak highly enough of the facility and the staff.

I love to see my kiddies run in to see their friends! I have used this place for several years now for daycare and boarding. I dont think any place else will look after my kiddies the way Petastic does. Highly recommend! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!

I don’t think there are word to say how happy we are to bring our pup, Josie, there for doggy daycare!!! From the minute we walked in everyone made us feel so comfortable!!! Ray took us around and showed us the place and our dog adapted so well!!!I brought Josie for her second day and when she realized where we were going she couldn’t get out on my truck fast enough... after a few hours I picked her up and she was so happy ... now she passed out for the night Bc of all the running around and fun she had with her dogfriends!

I brought my baby here and they completely abused/neglected her. She spent 1 night there and when I picked her up she could barely walk. Her pads were completely cut up and bleeding. She was SEVERELY dehydrated and hot to touch. Its like they just left her outside is the blazing sun. It took almost a full week for her to be able to walk again. She didnt pee or poop for 4 days after we picked her us. We had to drive back to NC after picking her up, and she was crying and shaking the whole way home. She is naturally a very happy healthy dog so this behavior is completely out characterIt was heartbreaking to see my baby girl suffer so much after spending 1 day in this facility. She has been to other doggie daycares before and had no problems, so I know this place abused her. We demanded a refund for her stay there and of course the owners throw their contract in our face and say that we signed forms releasing them from any responsibly. Absolutely despicable! They should be shut down!

I never have any concerns taking my boy here. He’s always well taken care of and has a blast! I can tell, because he sleeps for the next two days straight! They’re very accommodating and responsible when taking care of the dogs there. whether it be good or special needs, or getting a bath before coming home. They are top notch and extremely reliable! Plus they share videos all the time on Facebook and Instagram, so you can probably find your pet mingling with the groups there!

Called this morning and was told no problem. Called back this afternoon and now told they are not taking any more pups on Memorial Day!I have cancer surgery on Tuesday and My wife recently broke her kneecap yet she will be there for my surgery.I am staying at my brothers and he will be driving us to NYC so we needed somebody to care for the dog for a few days.Why did we have to lose several hours thinking it was OK filling out paperwork online and scheduling a vet visit for an influenza shot?We are up from SC and just can’t understand this treatment.In response to the owners comments below:Your manager was well aware that we had come up from SC and asked us to have his records faxed up directly from his vet even though I had his records with me so we did. She also mentioned the influenza shot and fecal test so we set up a vet appointment for tomorrow to have these items done and told her we would do so. Not to mention Yankee a rough collie was born and bred right here in NY just 7 months ago and I recently retired and purchased a home in SC while still owning my home in Yorktown where I lived for 59 years. I also find it odd you did not mention that we got a call tonight after this review offering a space for Yankee!!! Had you not replied with the intent of putting the fault on our end I would have let it go but now I am annoyed and not just frustrated as I was earlier.

My dog has been coming here for daycare and boarding since he was a puppy. It’s great for socialization and exercise. He gets so excited he drags me in the door. He is exhausted when he comes home. I’m grateful he has a place we’re he is so comfortable with the staff and other dogs while we are at work or away.

We have used Pawsitively Petastic for years. New Location is great. Beats a kennel or dog walker hands down! I appreciate the home feeling environment and love given to our dogs. Our dogs really like coming here and dont want to leave.

Lia is an incredible owner! I love that they are willingly to drop my dogs off at my house, saving me a trip there. Not many places offer that! PP is changing the industry with hospitality and convenience. If youre looking for a safe friendly place for your dog, search no longer and go to PP.

Aurora our Pomsky loves her daycare!! Aurora can be a mush and a bit shy to warm up, the whole staff spoils Aurora with cuddles and love, you can tell she’s treated with one on one attention and lots of love. It’s a nice treat for us also because after a day at puppy day care she comes home and goes right to sleep. We know she’s gotten both exercise and love, we love bringing her here as much as she loves going!

I have a VERY energetic three year old Boxer, named Hank. People who know the breed know that boxers are HUGE babies, and can be difficult at times. I was very nervous about leaving him for a full week. I was met with a knowledgable staff, who even sent me updates! Hank ended up loving his stay! When it came time for pick up he didnt even want to leave, he wanted to stay with all his new friends lol! I would without hesitation choose PP for any future accommodations!

My dog runs into the place when we bring her there. She is exhausted when she gets home. Its a great, safe place to board your pet. I feel it is also great for socialization.

False accusations are exactly what youre saying in the response to nicole. You want facts that are 100% true?1. Her paw pads werent blistered, they were literally cut in chunks up to an 1/8th inch deep, so much so now that shes finally healed you can still see scars and lines in her feet from the missing chunks.Making up some bs excuse for dogs arent used to wood chips is far from exceptable. Why? Because everyone knows grass or turf are much better and less harmful on their feet for playfull dogs. Also when I asked if I could see the premises to see how they are boarded and decide if I wanted to have her stay there, I was denied and not allowed to see behind anything past the second door.2. The paw pads being torn up wouldnt of been as much of an issue had they ACTUALLY been treated. There was no said balm applied as i checked once we got in the car. She was so injured she couldnt even fully walked to the front door. I had to PHYSICALLY PICK HER UP AND CARRY her to the car.3.Because of the severity of the cuts I know for a fact that she was not properly cared for with them because she became severely dehydrated with her stay there. How do I know this? She couldnt walk 10 feet to the door let alone to the SHARED water bowl. Thats right, each area where the dogs are kept dont have their own waters.Which is EXACTLY what I was told there are only shared water bowls I was told as I asked questions before we left as to why she was so lethargic. We drove to the nearest gas station and she drank a full liter of water4. I brought her in with a slip harness which is used to train your dog not to pull, as nicole was in a car accident and had a broken leg in 3 areas and we needed to train her safely . We were refered to It by the trainer from obediance classes we had her in. We were also told to be careful with them as if a dog backs up pulling they can slip the harness off. So to avoid this issue she advised us to tie a knot when it was snug to her. So why am I saying all this?They couldnt get the harness off due to the knot, thats right they were defeated by a single knot ... which ironically doesnt have to be untied, all you simply do is is pick her leg up and slip it through the leg hole, then the other leg, and then right over her head in less than 15 seconds... so they left this harness on her for the entire stay which was 1 full day and until roughly 5pm the next day.5. Accusing us of forcefully putting our dog into an uncomfortable ride back to nc is completely bs. She has a safety belt leash and loves long rides sticking her head out the moon roof which I have plenty of pics to prove.6. We didnt drive straight from nc to drop her off. We actually stayed with a family for a few days 2 hours away. The reason why we brought her to your place of buisness was because it was the closest reputable establishment to where the reception, hotel, and brides residence.7. After all this when we asked for a refund we were told we signed the agreement absolving them of all potential issues....pretty much no apologies, no asking for pictures to show what was wrong, literally no sign of emotion of what a good buisness does which is treat the customer right.8. Ways they couldve easily avoided these bad reviews.---1--- When i asked to explore the premises they couldve shown me (which looking back seems shady if they are unwilling to show you *behind the scenes*).--2-- After exploring the premises and seeing the play area is mulch, I wouldve KINDLY asked them not to let her play on it.--3-- If they had given us our refund back and apologized with sincerity of hoping our dog to make a quick recovery.--4-- Deny us the refund but request to see photos of her damaged feet and offer to pay for the very small medical expenses like neosporin and bandages and offer a sincere apology.We waited to review until we realized it might save another dog from receiving such harmful injuries to their paw pads...let alone being attacked by the company for free speech and an honest review.

Awesome. My dog was well cared for and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Frankie had a great time as evidenced by her being happily worn out. Definitely will be a frequent customer.

PUT YOUR DOG THERE AT OWN RISK!!!! Previously brought my dog there a few times with apparently no major issues. 1st time though my boxer did end up with kennel cough which did require a visit to the vet. Another time we took her there and she ended up getting hook worm and giardia which also required a slightly more expensive vet visit. My wife just dropped her off yesterday morning and shortly thereafter received a phone call that another dog was playing with her and playfully bit her in the leg and may require a stitch. Well after bringing her to the vet for a stitch she not only had multiple bite marks but the main laceration was more of a gaping quarter size hole that required multiple stitches and 418 dollars later we were on our way home. I know that you sign a whole bunch of wavers giving them absolutely no responsibility but they obviously dont have complete control of all dog interactions. Maybe if they took a little ownership in what happened my response wouldnt have been so harsh...

This morning grandma went in the coat closet and my harness fell out and I got very excited thinking I was going to to be with my friends at Pawsitively Petastic daycare. When grandma put my harness back I was very sad. Soooooo not to disappoint me Kodi, her baby she took me to see my friends. As always, I was soooo excited. Thats Kodis review .Heres grandmas review..... not only do my dogs love coming here but the staff is caring and wonderful, they truly love all the animals and you can see they love doing what they do. My dog, Matilda loves it here!!! Great energy and vibes from the staff, it really helps being a pet owner to know that my dog is being taken care of. Matilda has been going to day care for the past two weeks and just recently spent a night. Large space for the pups to run around, comfy couches and prices too! I highly recommend this place for anyone with a busy schedule, wanting more socialization for your dogs or just some time for your dogs to be dogs! I wish I knew about this place sooner!! Stop by and take a look around if you’re hesitant! I’m sure your dog is going to love it too! Thank you everyone at petsitivy!

Pawsativley Petastic is the best!! Whether our pup spends the day for play with his friends while were at work - or a long weekend for some excitement and fun while we travel. Leah and Ray and their staff are wonderful -- very professional, kind and everyone treats your dog as if he/she were their own. The facility is beautiful - tons of space to run and play freely. The best part is that all the happy hours are spent cage-free which is a huge bonus since our guy is full of energy and loves to be around other dogs.... We highly recommend Pawsatively!

Our yellow lab, Lexi, has been going to Pawsitively Petastic since they first opened on Rte 6 in Mahopac and we couldnt be happier!As we walk into the facility, she runs through the doors and into the owners arms.If you are looking for a pet daycare center with a wonderful staff and a clean, homey-feeling environment, I would strongly recommend Pawsitively Petastic!
