Groomingdales

This is my 3rd time having my dogs groomed at Groomingdales Mahopac. Vicky is very sweet with the dogs & so helpful with their hoomans. Mary Jo, the groomer, is—in one word—AMAZING!! She cuts & grooms each dog individually, giving them the cut I like. Every time, my three dogs came out looking absolutely pawsome! Each one of them! So glad I found this place. Love it!

They cut my toy poodle with the clipper then lied and said she came in with a cut on her paw! Ive seen them being rough with dogs but turn on the fakeness when you walk in. My dog was shaking and tried to get out of my arms when I brought her and I havent been back since. Plus when they cut her they gave me a $15 discount or so I thought and then she calls and says I undercharged you return my $15?!?!

Groomingdales is absolutely the best place to take your dogs. They are extremely kind and caring. They take such good care of our dogs. We have recommended them to everyone we know that has a dog.Their prices are reasonable. They do great work and our dogs are happy to see them when we walk in. They only allow one customer in the waiting area at atime to ensure the comfort and safety of your pets. The personal attention is amazing.They are the sweetest and kindest family business. Make sure you schedule you next visit when you pick up. We will never go anywhere else!They truly are a cut above!

The icky sisters, Nicky and mickey, are a great team. Friendly, courteous and the did a great job on jessie. Its a 35 minute ride to get there, but they were done in about an hour and 15, and it was one of the best jobs Ive ever had done on my puppy.

Bobby and his staff are warm, caring, kind, professionals. My pets have been going to Groomingdales for many years. There is no substitution for the gift that Bobby has in understanding and handling our pets, making them comfortable, and providing the utmost results; and there is no place I would ever bring my best friends

My regular place to bring my dog for haircuts. Great, friendly, quick service. This place is great!

I used this groomer for a few years and was very happy.The last time I had a 9:30 appointment. My dogs sat in cages until 3 p.m.My female looked like she was chopped. Very sorry. I loved this groomer.

I started to bring buddy here because I didn’t have a groomer for him, Buddy is very picky on people who can handle him. Omg buddy loves this place, these people are the most caring and understanding people that handle scared dogs. I love taking buddy here every time I pick him up he looks like a million dollars!

I have two west highland terriers bred to be shown by established kennel and purchased as pets. On the strength of the reviews posted here i took both of them to Groomingdales today. I have only recently moved into the area from Southern Westchester county. I picked them up an hour ago and this is what i have to report. If yor are looking for a well priced, friendly, consciencious, skilled in their profression, down to earth groomer then STOP! youre done. This is the place. Wonderful experience does not come close to describing the service and the results. I have never seen my dogs look better. I am still shaking my head in disbelief every time I look at them. These folks are great. I have already booked my next appointment. Unbelieveably good groomer. Great bunch of people. Do yourself and your dog a favor and dont think twice. Book an appointment. Im telling you straight up. Its a no brainer. LJL

Great place for dog grooming. We have an older dog and this is the only place that we trust with Lily! Excellent grooming and passionate care for your pup.

Incredibly nice people here! Genuine kindness and rapport with the animals as well as their people. Family owned. Good pricing. Whats not to like? Daisy highly recommends them - WOOF!

The people are very very nice however I took my lhasa apso and shitzu there a few times and I have to say I was not crazy about the results. Sometimes the dogs come out great and other times not so good. The last time I took my dogs the results were very poor. My lhasas hair was incredibly choppy and it looked like my shitzu did not even get a haircut. Love the people, the results not so much.

Groomingdales is amazing!! Vickie and staff are so friendly and very patient with my Yorkie, who by-the-way was banned from PetSmarts grooming department. Thanks for making Peppers experience so stress free. :)

Ok so I just went to get my 17 year old blind and deaf dog nails cut. You have after 4 pm policy on sat but nothing posted for the rest of the week. I show up and was denied service why because the groomers were busy? Im sorry I came from Carmel and used to work for a grooming business and ive never had to male an appointment. If you are not capable of having to grrom and do nails then .aybw you should get extra help. I offered to wait and was still deniedNot a great way to do business. Will never come back.

Outstanding. Batman loved his first visit, and I am so impressed by the staffs thoughtfulness, care and service! The search is over, this is the place to get your furry one groomed.
